Steph was smiling, her belly distended around the changing Doctor Kagan. "No wonder you always want someone in there..." She said dreamily as Launi pressed her own distended belly against Steph's.

Doctor Henrietta Kagan (formally Henry Kagan) was looking around, she was surrounded by white. "What is this a Matrix reference?"

Steph in her lamia form slithered up to her. "Yes, No, maybe, it doesn't matter right now."

Henrietta looked at the girl, "What am I doing here?"

"Deciding on what you are to become. Shall you leave my womb with your current level of knowledge, your body as it was when you entered? Or shall you chose to accept your destiny?"

Henrietta gulped, the silver fox looking around in the white. "Destiny? What destiny?"

"The one you have been fulfilling ever since you took the girls under your caring supervision. You have been protecting them. Do you wish to continue? Aided by the gifts I can bestow on you? With the gifts come the knowledge promised by Mother. Without them, you go back with only a knowledge of how the girls truly work and how you can help further human kinds transformation and save it. With the gifts, you can not only help others, but be able to protect the girls as only I can right now."

Henrietta sat down on the white floor, soon a red easy chair pushed up under hir. "If I say yes, take the gifts, do I have the same issue as you?"

"If you are worried about needing to be with them constantly, you need not worry. Sex for you only strengthens your bond with them and your own abilities. I need to be with them because they not only help me grow strong, but because when I was turned, I had already died, the bullets that entered my body that night killed me. Mother restored my life with this power I now hold. But by the same token, if I ever separate myself from them for too long, I will return to my original self, the girl who died that night."

Henrietta gasped. "You mean that you can't leave them, ever?"

"Not until they pass from this plane, as long as I protect them, I shall survive. You, though, if you go your separate ways from your charges, you'll simply lose your strength, lose the gifts I shall give you, until the time that you chose to be with them again."

Henrietta's mind reeled, if shi chose the power, shi would know all about the girls and be able to do more to help them. But it would mean violating hir morals again. But hir morals were forgotten rather easily, and the girls had given hir so much already and they made hir look and feel young again, and now shi was being offered a way to help protect them. The decision was rather easy. "I'll do it." Shi said before bracing hirself for what was to come.

Steph smiled, she backed away and said, "you have chosen wisely, when you awake you will know all you wish to know."

"You mean there is no bright light infusing into me? No magical transformation scene?" Henrietta asked rather confused.

"You think this is one of those Japanese Anime shows? No, you will wake up, looking slightly different, but what you feel will be the difference." Steph said before the white world dimmed to black around Henrietta.

Steph smiled. "It is done." She said as she felt her stomach shift as her eyes went back to normal, she yawned rather cutely and snuggled up against Nicole. "We'll get to see her in the morning."

Launi nodded and closed her eyes. "I can't wai-" She passed out before finishing her words. The nights events had tired them all out Nicole had already passed out.

The morning came, and none of them were up very quickly. Steph and Launi's belly's were pressed together and Nicole's wings were wrapped tightly around the two. They most likely would of slept like that if it wasn't for the moving in Steph's stomach waking her up. She yawned and then looked down, her stomach was growing and bulging in different directions as Henrietta moved around.

Luani was woken up by the movement and looked down. "Is it time already?" She asked Steph.

Steph nodded. "Shi is ready, though shi will be different then when shi went in." Steph said smiling as she rubbed her belly. "I don't want to let hir out yet though..."

Launi smiled. "Keep her in there I think Danica would like to see this." She said before pushing out Danica rather quickly. The smaller tigress smiled as she woke up.

"I was having a nice dream in there..." She said quietly before looking at Steph who was squirming as her belly shifted around. "Oh, is it time already?" She asked.

"Yep, thought you'd like to watch since you missed her pulling Henrietta in there." Launi said licking Danica's cheek before hugging her tight.

"Our little girl is all grown up." Danica said joking.

Steph started to push, it wasn't long before they saw a silver muzzle push out of Steph's lips, followed by the rest of Henrietta's face. The next to come where hir hands which she used to pull hirself out. It wasn't long, the sliver fox was out, little seemed to have changed other then a second tail growing next to the first marking her a kitsune. "You girls are a lot of trouble..." Shi said before being hugged tightly by Danica.

"You turned out so cute!" Danica said as she held Henrietta's face to her chest.

Henrietta sighed, "Last time someone said that was when I was dressed up for my aunt's wedding when I was ten..."

"Well its true," Launi said as she moved in from behind and hugged Henrietta as well.

Henrietta sighed before gasping, Steph had snaked a tendril into Henrietta's cunt and was twisting and turning it, doubling it over and thrusting in and out of Henrietta's new passage.

Danica smiled and backed away from the others. Nicole took her spot and started to play with Henrietta's tits. "You like your new self?"

Before she got to the door the person started banging on it again. "Hang on hang on." When she opened the door a man and a woman were standing there. "May I help you?"

The man spoke up, "Yes, have you seen our daughter? Her name is Steph. We heard she was out here."

Danica smiled. "Yes, I have seen her, want me to get her for you?"

The woman nodded. "Please, we haven't seen or heard from her in weeks."

Danica nodded. "Okay, just give her a minute." She said before inviting them into the living room.

The two accepted and when Danica went to the end of the hall and into their room she shook her head. "Steph, your parents are here." She said interrupting the fun other girls were having with the new herm.

Steph looked at her and shook her head. "I hoped I wouldn't see them again..."

Danica smiled. "Don't worry you won't be alone, no matter what." She said before grabbing a robe for Steph. "Come on, lets not keep them waiting." She said leading the girl out the door. Steph had made the black on her body disappear making her appear like a normal girl.

Her parents looked at her relieved that she wasn't changed in anyway that they saw. Her mother rushed forward and hugged her.

"Mr. and Mrs. Goodlick I presume." Henrietta said leaving the room, she was covered in a robe as well.

"And you all are?" Mrs. Goodlick asked.

"Sorry mother, this is Danica and Doctor Kagan." Steph said motioning to Doctor Kagan and Danica respectively. "These are my parents. Anita and Joe Goodlick."

Danica smiled. "Nice to meet you, your daughter has said nice things about you." She said as she sat down.

Steph's father spoke up. "We were worried about you. It took me pulling several strings to find you here, why didn't you tell us you were here?"

Steph sighed. "I wanted to be free... They accepted me, taught me things, treated me like a friend. Something you never let me do..."

Joe spoke up. "That is because the world isn't safe honey..."

Anita looked at him and shook her head. "I told you not every place is as bad as you make it seem and we should of let her go to a regular school..."

"You haven't seen the things I have."

Steph threw up her hands. "Why must you two always argue?!" She said before walking to the window. Steph sighed and turned around just before the window shattered and Steph collapsed.

Joe immediately reacted. "On the ground, NOW!" he barked as he pulled a GI 1911 from his coat. Danica, Launi, Nicole and Anita were on the ground and away from the windows before he finished speaking. Henrietta had moved over to Steph to check on her, staying clear of the window as well.

"She'll be fine." Henrietta said as she looked at the wound that was already stitching itself back together.

Joe looked over at her. "But she was just shot."

"I know, she isn't like the girl you know any-"

"Excuse me." Steph said sitting back up. "But I do believe there is something that needs to be done outside. Henrietta, could you please watch the door while I deal with the person who shot me?" She said before standing up and going back to the window before jumping out of it.

Henrietta looked at Steph as she left before turning to Joe. "I don't know how you got in here with that, but if you'll excuse me if I ask if you can use it?"

Joe looked at her. "I want to know what happened."

"You will, but first can you use that or not." Henrietta said as shi moved to the door.

"Yeah, of course."

"Good, make yourself useful and take everyone into the basement, there is a safe room down there." Shi said as shi stood by the front door, "now do it quickly, they are just about here."

Joe quickly lead everyone down the hall to the basement, just as he ushered Anita down the stairs the front door blew open, several men clad in black with IMI micro Uzi's rushed in. The first two found their heads knocked together hard enough to knock them unconscious despite their helmets as Henrietta made her move. The next man through the door saw just a paw flying at his face before he was sent back outside.

Steph was on the hill, the man who had shot her had found his PSG-1 ripped clear from his hands by a very pissed off looking Steph. When he tried to get up to run he found his legs ensnared by her tail. His spotter was getting up and swinging his AR-15 around to bring it to bear on Steph only to find his shooter being swung into him.

Back at the house Joe had come back up the stairs to see a fourth and fifth man coming up behind Henrietta as she was kicking the third man back outside. Joe fired twice as one of the men went to bring his CAR-15 to bear on Henrietta, the first shot striking him in the chest the second one severing the mans carotid artery. He swung his Colt 1911 just in time to see the fifth man fire a burst at Joe, the first bullet hit Joe in his shoulder, the rest went wide. Joe squeezed off a lucky shot that hit the man in square in the chest as Joe slumped to the ground. Henrietta made sure no one else was around before going to check on Joe, seeing his wound shi immediately started to bandage his shoulder to slow the bleeding, the compounds guards showed up and started to handcuff the men who were still alive. Steph had brought the shooter and his spotter back to the house, though when she saw her father she dropped them and rushed over to him. "Dad?"

He looked at her and smiled slightly. "Steph? Is that you?"

Steph smiled. "Yeah, I wanted to tell you before you saw..."

He shook his head. "It doesn't matter..." He said before Henrietta spoke up.

"Enough of that for now, lets get you patched up." Shi said as a couple of men in scrubs came in with a stretcher and helped Joe on it.

As he was taken out Danica, Launi, Nicole and Anita came up stairs. Anita immediately went over to Joe. "Dear? Are you alright?"

Henrietta turned to Anita. "He'll be fine, the bullet went through and missed anything vital. Lets all get out of here and go to the main building."

Anita nodded, Launi drove them all in their over burdened golf cart, Henrietta looking at her daughter who was still in her lamia form. "Steph, when did this happen to you?" She asked as she placed a hand on her daughters tail.

Steph shook her head. "A few weeks ago... the first night I was here the girls were attacked... Things are kind of blurry still but apparently I was shot and died that night..." She said as she started to go into the things that had happened. "... these ladies and the doctor have helped me a lot though." She said as she saw her mom get worried. "They taught me how to control it though." She said as her tail went back to a pair of legs. "I can do some really amazing things now."

"Why didn't you call us to let us know you were alright? Your father had to roll some heads to get someone to tell use where you were, much less let us out here."

Steph sighed. "I guess I kind of was worried you'd force me to go back home..."

Anita smiled. "Well we would like you to come back."

Steph sighed. "That is the problem... If I go back I'll die..."

"What did they do? Why is that?"

"I am only alive because I am with those girls, the doctor had me separated while they ran a few tests on me, it was only a couple of days, but at the end of the testing, I almost died... Not because of anything he had done, but because I wasn't near these two girls," she said as she motioned to Danica and Launi, "It seems that since my rebirth as you could call it I am dependent on being near them to survive."

Anita shook her head. "But..."

"I am sorry mom, but I need to be with them now... It is my job as their guardian to be with them..."

Anita sighed. "I guess, as long as you are happy."

Steph smiled. "I am happy." She said as they arrived at the main building, Launi lead them to a private study to talk as they waited for Henrietta and Joe. After discussing for a while the events that were happening and Hariti's plan to save people. A doubtful Anita shook her head as Henrietta wheeled in Joe who had his arm in a sling.

"I can walk just fine by myself..." He grumbled.

"I know, but rules are rules, as a patient you get the free ride." Henrietta said smiling as she stopped him by his wife. "So you all been getting along fine while I stitched up that hole in Joe's shoulder?"

Anita shook her head. "These girls have one imagination about this whole Hariti person. You sure you haven't been putting any ideas in their heads Doctor Kagan?"

A light shone in the room from one of the walls full of books. "No, I was putting those ideas in their heads." A female figure said from the light. The light faded leaving a woman wearing long white robes, her ears cat like and covered in cream colored fur, her hair blonde and her eyes blue.

"Mother Hariti," Steph said before bowing in front of the goddess.

Hariti laughed slightly, "Please, don't bow. I don't expect any such thing to be done for me." She said as she put her hand under Steph's chin, Steph slowly rose. "You have been doing a great job protecting those girls, thank you." She said before turning to Anita and Joe who were both staring at her.

"Did you just walk through the wall?" Joe asked as he looked at her.

"No, but then again, Yes. There is a wall I went through, just not a physical one like you are used to."

Anita shook her head. "Why our daughter? Couldn't it of been someone elses?"

"Because your daughter was already going to be, events in the past determined it. Generations ago in fact." Hariti said looking at Anita. "In fact, it was determined nearly three millenia ago by Joseph's ancestor's whom were guardian's themselves."

Joe looked at her. "You mean..."

"Yes, it is in your blood as well, but guardian's are all female, but even the males in the bloodline tend towards jobs that protect others, you yourself are ex CIA, but your job was prevention. You stopped several attacks before they even thought of doing them. Your father was a member of Search and Rescue crews for downed pilots in the Pacific during World War Two. Your great grandfather was a medic in the Spanish American war."

Joe shook his head. "How do you know these things?"

"I am a goddess." She said matter of factly. "Now, I have a deal for you, as sort of a way of saying sorry, I'll let you two choose what you wish to change into, if you wish to survive what is coming."

Joe looked at her. "I don't know..."

Anita shook her head. "I don't know either..."

Hariti smiled, "It is decided. I shall take my leave."

Joe and Anita looked at each other and then Hariti. "But didn't you say."

"It has been done." She said as the light reappeared and she walked into it. When Joe and Anita looked back at each other they shook their heads.

Henrietta cleared hir throat. "After that last attack and the pending change in administration here. I think it would be wise for you girls to leave soon."

Launi looked at hir. "But, what about the deal we had here?"

"Part of the deal this corporation has will change your role drastically, your status as honored guest will be done, you'll be research subjects. The freedoms you are given will be removed. I've done a little research into this company, they lean towards military applications of genetic engineering, even though they claim to be here to find cures, they want to militarize what you girls can do."

Danica shook her head. "That isn't right..."

"I know, that is why I have asked a friend to help you all. I'll have to stay here for a while at least but I'd suggest you girls get out of here as quick as possible. Joe, Anita? You two came in an SUV, right?"

"Yeah, a Suburban." Joe said as he looked at hir.

"Good, I need you two to get the girls out of here. Make sure they are safe until I can provide more details on where they are going."

"Well I guess we can see what we can do." Anita said looking at the girls.

Nicole looked at Henrietta. "You sure about this doc?"

"Yes, the change over is next week, but they are starting to bring in the new guards tomorrow, with them comes some issues, these guards most likely won't let you off site. So, it is today or never, so get back to your house get the stuff you need and then Joe and Anita, I am depending on you to get these girls to someplace safe for now."

Joe nodded his head. "I'll do it."

"Good, now get going." shi said before turning to leave the room.

Danica got up and shook her head. "I can't believe this."

Launi hugged her. "Me neither, lets get Claus and get out of here." She said before turning to leave the room.

A few hours later Joe and Anita were driving out of the complex in their old 1970 red and white suburban with the back loaded with the girls and their luggage.
