First I'd like to apolodise for taking so long to post a second story, and second all characters belong to me so hands off no takey takey. With that out of the way lets do it.

"S- saria?" Dante stammered letting go of his long lost friend.

It was her turn for her eyes to widen in shock as she realized who her enemy was.

"Dante?" Saria eyed him still not believing what was before her.

"Saria." Dante smiled in joy for the first time since he was taken from the village nearly ten years ago. He embraced her tightly not wanting to wake from his dream, tears streaming down his face, another first, "I can't believe it's you."

Saria stood there in shock, what previously was going to kill her was now hugging her and crying. Tears fell from her eyes as well as she finally accepted that she had found her childhood playmate after years of thinking he was dead.

"Dante it really is you." She hugged him back quickly, "I missed you so much."

The wolven warriors gathered themselves and just stared at the scene before them.

"Ummmm..... what just happened?" a tawny female with a single grey stripe going down her spine asked the others, "are we not suppose to be fighting that guy."

"I don't think so Lin." said the talles of the trio, he was grey with white flecks around his eyes and neck, and had a black stripe on each of his flanks going from his shoulder to his hip.

"Hey, Mat, doesn't he look familiar." the third chimmned in, was shorter than the others and the same fur patern as the tall one.

"Now that you say something I think he does Mick" Lin eyed the two standing there embracing eachother the whole time this conversation went on.

Mean while, seeing his prized fighter hug the enemy, baldy had made his escape out of a bottem hatch in the buggy, and was now running as quickly as he could through the trees. Tripping over logs and running into thorn bushes as he went.

Back at the buggy the two finally separated and turned tword the three warriors.

"Guys we came here seeking vengance and instead found a friend," Saria smiled at them tears still in her eyes, "come let us return home and reintroduce him to the village."

"WHOO! HOOOO!" Lin cheared as she bounced up and down "hot meal, hot bath, warm bed here I come!"

"I swear Lin, if you ever left the villag longer than a week you would drop dead." Mick teased her.

"Hey weren't you complaining last night that you wish you were in your bed nice and warm." Lin stuck her tongue out at him.

"That was before someone curled up next to me." Mick raised an eyebrow devilishly.

Lin scratched the ground with her footpaw in embarrassment.

Mat walked over to Dante and gave him a hard look, " I will pay you back for throwing me." He turned and walked into the underbrush of the forest.

"Brother!" Mick chased after him.

Lin bounced up to Dante and Saria, " Hello my name is Lin, pleased to meet you."

Dante nodded," Dante" he said simply. He had regained his composure just moments before Mat had threatened him.

"Oooo so cool, I like you." she smiled and gave him a wink before pursuing the brothers.

"Lets go home Dante." tears still flowed in Saria's eyes.

He nodded "Home."

It took two days of ceasless running to return to the village. Mat was in the lead and didn't show any signs of stopping. They arrived at night stopping at a fifteen foot wall that surrounded the village. Mat howled into the cold darkness and waited. There was sounds of scuffling on the other side of the wall and a grunt and thud as something heavy hit the ground. Part of the wall swung inwards and several warriors charged out to greet them. Dante took a defensive stance as they appeared but straightened when Saria but a hand on his shoulder.

An old woman walked in between the houses flanked by two more heavily armed guards. The group kneeled leaving Dante standing. He looked at the others and decided to follow along and kneeled.

"Welcome home children of the forest was your hunt succesful?" the old woman asked when she reached them.

"It was grandmother," Saria stood up, "but not in the way we expected."

"Look what we found Minerva." Lin nearly left the ground as she jumped up in excitment.

The old woman chuckled at Lin as Dante stood the chains on his wrists clinking. (Authors note: I added this feature mid story sorry but Dante has shackles on with four links on each one. they were put there by his former master to increas his fearsome appearance. again sorry for adding mid story. back to the show)

"Oh dear could it be," Minerva gasped, " Dante Lyal!"

The warriors around them gasped "Really?" " A Lyal!" " I thought they were dead."

Mat and Mick had stood up as well. "Now I reconize him," Mick concluded.

Mat look inraged but was ignored and didn't say anything.

"Come Dante you will sleep in our home for the night we will introduce you to the village in the mourning" the old lady turned and started walking back down the village her body guards following as well as Saria.

"What are you waiting for silly, go." Lin nudged him in the back.

Dante walked after them leaving the group and guards behind. They retreated into the village closing the gate.

"I'm going to take a bath in the hotsprings." Lin said before running off.

Mick went to follow her but Mat's hand stopped him. Mick looked over his shoulder questioningly.

"We have to see mother and father first." Mat said sternly.

Micks ears folded against his head in disapointment as they walked in the other direction.

Dante layed on the soft bed in the room presented to him by Saria. He was in bliss as his eyelids slowly droped sending him spiraling off in dreams. Saria layed in hers staring at her ceiling the warmth in her chest flared as she thought about Dante.

"What is this feeling?"
