"I hope so," said Fox. "I just don't know what's going to happen with him when we finally get divorced." Fox's ears drooped, and he had a sad expression. "Oh, I just know that she's going to fight me tooth and nail to get full custody of him."
Wolf went over and put his arm around his boyfriend. "Hey, hey, don't let yourself get upset, Foxie. No matter what happens, I'm here for you, and I'm certain you'll get shared custody of Marcus."

"Do?" said Fox, scratching his chin. "I really haven't given it much thought. I've just been happy to be with you right now."
"Feelings mutual," said Wolf. "I couldn't help but notice that you don't exactly have the largest wardrobe at the moment."
Fox nodded in agreement. When Krystal threw him out of the house, he only grabbed enough clothes for a week, and most of those were now dirty and needing washed.
"How about I take you clothes shopping today?" said Wolf.

Fox obliged his boyfriend's request and threw the clothes down on the floor of the utility room. It was then that he realized that he hadn't really gotten a full tour of Wolf's house. As Wolf started the washer, Fox roamed around, seeing that Wolf's residence was quite a spacious one. Fox looked outside, seeing all fields of grass and flowers that surrounded the house. Wolf didn't appear to have any neighbors anywhere in sight.

Fox turned around. "Yeah, you've got a nice place here, Wolf. Where's your nearest neighbor?"
"About five miles south of here," said the lupine. "What can I say? I've always been the type that really valued my privacy, but I know I'm going to really enjoy having you here now."
"Thanks," said Fox. "It's all so sudden, you know? I go from being kicked out of my house, to living in a hotel room, and now you're telling me that this place is mine too."
"It's ours now," said Wolf, putting his arm around his boyfriend. "Well, I've got your clothes in the washer, so after that's done running, I'll throw them in the dryer and then we can head out to Corneria City to do some shopping."
"I um . . . don't have a whole lot of cash on me right now," said Fox, embarrassed at his situation. "I've just got my credit cards, and I wouldn't be surprised if Krystal tires to cancel them any day now."
"Who said you were going to be doing the buying?" said Wolf. "When I offered to take you shopping, I had every intention of being the one who would pay for everything."
"You serious?" said Fox.
"Damn right,' said Wolf. "Fox, I made tons of money when I was a mercenary. Let's just put it this way: you and I will be able to live the rest of our lives very comfortably together."
"That's a relief," said Fox. "I made some bad investment decisions when Star Fox was still active. I was actually thinking of reforming the team again because things weren't looking the brightest for me financially."
"Don't worry about it," said Wolf. "We're just gonna go out, buy you some clothes, have a nice lunch, I'll even buy you some cook books if you want."
"I'd really like that," said Fox, his tail wagging.
