The Zootopian Experiment Chapter 13

(Judy Hopps)

When Doctor Lango lift, Nicks hospital room I asked, "You know anyone in the Zootopia Immigration Service. The normal immigration service, takes forever to go through and even worse, their history would be completely be known." As I sat down next to Nick's bed.

Nick lying in his bed, just smiled a little bit. He then simply answered in his sarcastic way, "funny, I just went through a major operation and your worried about the two humans. Unfortunately no, I don't have a friend in immigration, at least not any who could help with citizenship. Wait a minute, what about Brandon Grayton, though I don't like him, it seemed that you and Brandon hit it off. He might know of some ways to speed up the process, and preserve their identity."

Me and Nick hanged out for a few more hours. I also got to speak to John and Michael, for a little bit. I learned that Michael, is going to also having his kidney transplant soon. Also that John is recovery extremely well, with his new kidney. I lift around 8pm, to get ready for work tomorrow morning.

The next day at work I decided that I would talk to Brandon about the immigration process. During some paperwork, Corporal Ussuri said, "great, just what I needed. The ZPD database is down for maintenance, now I afto travel to the down to the Filing Department, to hand them the files in paper." I decided that this was my perfect chance, to speak to him, while we were both at work, so I decided to volunteer, to send the application down to the Filing Department.

When I arrived at the Filing Department,I asked the person at the front desk, "here is the paperwork from the ZPD Recruiting Division. Huh, could you please tell me where I can find Brandon Grayton?"

Brandon's office seemed to be at the back of the building. Unlike the office in the front, with windows, and really nice frosted windows, his door seemed old and scratched up. I knocked on the door, and he let me in. Brandon asked me, "Officer Hopps, how may I help you?"

I answered him, "Brandon, I need information about immigration." He looked at me and explained that because of me being a resident of Bunyburrow which was a dependent town of Zootopia, I was already considered a citizen of Zootopia. I quickly answered, "No, I already know, I am a citizen of Zootopia. The reason, I am asking is, I have some friends that need to get citizenship of Zootopia."

Brandon answered quickly, "Well for them to receive citizenship, they must live in Zootopia for five years, they must keep up a legal visa in those five years, and finally that they pass the Zootopian Citizen Knowledge Test, also known as ZCKT Test. At the end, besides just spending a lot of time on paperwork, it is extremely easy."

I looked at him and I realize that I needed to go into more detail than I would prefer. I simply responded, "my friends unfortunately don't have any paperwork, at least not any that Zootopia would recognize. We also can't find any information on where they came from, so the chance of ever getting the information needed is extremely unlikely. Finaly, the biggest reason is I believe that their past needs to be protected."

He looked at me and sighed and said, "if you need me to, I will look into possibilities of getting them citizenship. It's going to be hard though, Zootopia keeps up with all the documents with immigration, it will be almost impossible to slip two citizenship requests without all the proper documentation." At the end, of the conversation he gave me his phone number, just in case he found an idea to get them citizenship.
