Luke (chap. 1)- courage
#1 of Luke
I knew I was gay from around 8th grade when I caught myself staring at the other guys as they changed. I was never open about it since I lived in a somewhat homophobic part of the city and if I came out I would be ridiculed at school so I just lay low, it worked pretty well until this year... when I realized I was in love with my best friend, Luke.
Luke is a husky, a hot one at that. He has that common black and white fur pattern. He is the perfect build, skinny but with a bit of muscle. His eyes are an intense blue and he always has a soft smile on his muzzle. He has thin hips and a cute little ass to go with them, he has strong, muscular legs and his tail always swishes behind him as he walks. He always wears the same style clothes, a pair of faded, slightly ripped jeans and a loose fitting t-shirt.
Luke and I have been friends since about 7th grade and we've always been pretty close, the only problem is Luke seemed a bit homophobic, always describing things as gay or making some homophobic remark. I was afraid to come out to him because I thought he would abandon me. Then came that fateful night when we went to a party at our friend Ashley's house. me, Luke, Ashley, Peter and Alyssa were the only ones there and it wasn't long before we started a game of spin the bottle. after about two spins it was Luke's turn.
"Well, here goes nothing" he said then he gave the bottle a spin. We all watched as the bottle spun round and round slowly losing momentum. Finally it stopped... and it was pointing at me. An awkward silence fell over the group. Luke looked uneasily up at Ashley. "Well, I guess you're gonna have to kiss him" she said, answering Luke's silent question. "But he's a guy!" Luke replied "come on, you gotta let me spin again, it's not fair". "You spun it and it landed on him" she said. He slowly looked up at me. "Might as well get it over with" I said. Reluctantly he closed his eyes and leaned in towards me, it was the moment I had been waiting for. I leaned in, tilted my head and pulled him in towards me planting a long wet kiss on his muzzle. I saw his eyes open wide with shock and suddenly he pulled away from me. "What the hell was that?" he asked, staring at me with a look of disbelief on his face. I looked around the group; they all had the same stunned looks on their faces. "I-I need to talk to you in the living room for a second" I said to Luke and he quickly followed me into the living room.
"What the hell was that" he repeated only a bit quieter this time. With a sigh I began to talk "Luke... I... I'm gay" I said, and then gave him a moment to absorb that. "Y-You're gay?" he said, looking shocked again. "Yes" I replied "and... and...(sigh) I've had a crush on you for a long time". Silence... and then... "Why didn't you tell me earlier" he asked, still visibly shaken. "Because you always seemed like a homophobe and I was afraid you'd hate me, and I don't blame you if you do now" I replied. He walked over and hugged me "I don't hate you" he said "in fact I... I... (sigh) I think I love you" he finished. I looked at him in disbelief "b-but I thought you were straight" I stammered, my heart pounding furiously. "I thought so too" he admitted "but as I got older I began to catch myself admiring guys, especially you" he said. I absorbed this, still disbelieving. For a moment an uneasy silence hung in the air until Ashley's voice broke it, "Can you guys hurry up so we can keep playing" she shouted. "I guess we should get back there" I said finally."I guess so" he said "but first I have something important to ask you, will you go out with me" he asked. My heart skipped a beat "yes" I replied. "So then, I guess were officially a couple" Luke said. "I guess so" I replied. "Well then, we better get back in there before Ashley comes in here and drags us out" he said, smiling.
We walked back into the dining room, my arm around his shoulder his arm around my waist. Everyone was looking up at us with disbelief on their faces, except for Ashley who looked up at us and smiled. "Well look who finally got together" she said still smiling. "Are you two seriously going out now?" peter asked, looking shocked. "What gives you that idea" I asked. "Well for starters" Ashley said "you two have your arms wrapped around each other, second of all I've known you were gay for three months now. Also it helps that we could hear everything you guys said seeing as the living room has no door and you guys weren't exactly being quiet".
Sheepishly I looked at Ashley and asked "How the hell did you know I was gay?" "well first of all" she replied "I've been noticing you checking out Luke for a while now, plus you always walk out of the boys locker room with a bulge in your pants that you didn't have when you went in there". I looked own, embarrassed. We spent another hour playing spin the bottle before it was time for our parents to come pick us up. when my parents showed up I walked over to Luke "do you wanna spend the night at my house?" I asked. "sure" he replied, "but I'm assuming were gonna be doing something other than sleeping?" he said with a grin. "you have no idea" I replied.
this is my first published story so id love feedback for some new stories which should be up in the near future unless i decide to be lazy
