#1 of Zeks' Misadventures

Something of a reboot for Zeks and the world he lives in.

Sunlight shone through the clouds thinly but completely spread over the city, illuminating the wood and stone edifices in a dull gray that couldn't dampen the bright spirits preparing for the coming festivities. Vendors haggled over carefully painted tokens of good fortune while citizens unfurled their traditional black banners in hopes that the week of revelry would see them painted in brilliant colours to ward off the somberness of winter and it's maleficent forces. Despite the dreary look about town, the dirt streets felt inviting and full of possibility, part of the reason Zeks always managed to arrive just for the season.

The cougar adjusted the mantle wrapped around his shoulders, the bright blue of it somewhat out of place in the increasingly dense palette of black, and watched the busy people bustle past. He was not a city cat but he liked that there were places like this in the world, somewhere that always promised some activity, some new face, some new brief adventure that could be taken and bested before the sunset. Of course, he never arrived with much in the way of money but a few well met challenges could keep him happy and fed before he returned to his wanderings.

Before he could find a tavern or inn suitably seedy, a faint whistle appeared behind him, replaced by a loud thud announcing a familiar spear dug into the earth a few paces ahead. Zeks barely thought before he turned, reaching between his legs to extract the old relic of a sword he kept in his enchanted pouch, then shouted: "I'm waiting, Rust!"

The spear matched his blade: old, gleaming black steel inlaid with a subtle golden piping. A product of the Old Age, sturdy and made for offense but designed with beauty in mind. None of that came to Zeks' mind, though. Instead, he scanned the murmuring crowd hoping to see the bodies part for the rat he knew was among them so he could strike before they cleared too much space. Unfortunately for the feline, the crowd merely looked around itself, shifting to scatter at a moment's notice once the assailant was found.

Zeks didn't realize until too late that he had underestimated his attacker once again and felt a harsh gust of air blast him in the chest, knocking him back into the dust and sending his sword skittering into the street followed by the thump of feet from above.

Trusting Rust to fight fair was asking to be tricked and Zeks cursed through the bruising ache spreading across his torso. He looked up and saw a looming shadow of red linen descend onto his face but couldn't respond soon enough to stop from being buried in heavy, musk-rich warmth. He could hear a faint churning as he was smothered in the rat's trap but it didn't mute the sound of an incantation overhead.

As ever, Zeks could feel the buzzing of magic in the air around him, the pleasant vibration of mana coursing through him as it was drawn to the weight settling on his chest. Still, he had no way of knowing what the spell was meant to do so he thrashed, rocking his pinned shoulders in hopes of throwing off the rat but a tendril of muscle and skin coiled around his legs, taking away his leverage, and the pliant burden on his face rolled firmly back and forth forcing him to breath in the beautifully masculine scent radiating from them.

The redolence was disarming, possibly enhanced with the same sort of magic playing out overhead just for this purpose. It was clouding the cat's instincts, working with the magic to spur a steely erection from his loins. More and more of him want to kiss and lick at the weighty mass of heat and aroma, to abandon himself to the soft sound of its roiling content but he had to get away. He fought against himself and against Rust's heavy trap until with a arch of his spine and shove with his hands he dislodged himself, and rolled away from underneath. His legs were still snared in the rat's tail but he was no longer assaulted by the alluring scent of his body.

Zeks scrambled doing his best not to stare at the orbs jostling between his rival's legs, each one as big as the cat's head, the contours perfectly highlighted by the light linen enveloping them. The grip around his ankles shifted to tighten but he managed to slip one leg free first, giving him the purchase to tug the other free with one good pull. Rust grunted resolutely and quickly turned his tail toward the spear still standing firm in the ground and tugged it with practiced accuracy into his bare, pink paws.

"You're not getting away from me again, Zeks," he rumbled with a burning intensity.

Looking around the street, which had parted into something of an arena circled by worried and confused faces too enrapt in the spectacle to flee or interfere, the cat hoped he could find anything he could use. His sword was too far and the foot-packed dirt was too dense to kick up into a distraction. All that was left was Rust himself.

The two of them were rather alike. Rust was bigger, true, but not by much. Each of them was built on adventure hardened muscle. Some of Rust's had been lost of late studying his old books and practicing with the old mages in the west, but he had his weapon ready. Still, they were more alike than not and trusting Zeks to fight fair was asking to be tricked.

A gasp spread across the crowd as Rust charged the short distance between them, turning the spear in his fists so the blunt end would find its way into the cat's gut. Instinctively, the feline moved forward to match him. Half a leap to throw off the aim and block the hard wooden haft with his shin. Pain shot the through him but he was braced for it, instead focusing his attention on the massive balls bouncing between the rat's thighs. His fingers grasped onto one, barely able to cup enough of the massive orb to take control of it then worked them in firm, deep strokes, massaging the tender flesh amid the testosterone, adrenaline and heat of battle.

Rust couldn't help but moan at the top of his lungs. The heavy organs were wildly sensitive. He knew magic enough to protect them from harm but Old Age magic saw pain and pleasure as two very different things. His spells were useless against a warm caress. His spine locked in place giving Zeks even more control and dropping his spear from his spasming hands, working his other hand under the waistband dressed with regal white lace to grasp onto a fat, fat dick swelling with unexpected lust. The cougar purred, at least as best he could, low enough that only the two of them could hear then hooked his foot behind him and sent them back down to the ground with a harsh smack.

The crowd reeled at the sound but didn't part, watching intently as the pair struggled in the trodden dust. Rust's breath turned ragged while Zeks pushed his face into the rat's neck, scraping his teeth and tongue against him. Pink fingers clawed at the ground as if they could find something; some lever or switch to send the blissful distraction but no relief came. The cougar's attention was unrelenting, deep, aggressive and entirely too pleasant to do anything but quake for a long moment. Still, Rust was determined.

He groaned desperately and finally threw his head forward, shaking his opponent just enough for their forehead's to collide. Bright spots filled Zeks' vision and weakened his grip enough that a good shove to his chest bowled him over again, kicking up more dust. They each scrabbled to their feet, neither inclined to be pinned so easily again, and paused to get their bearings. Rust's whip of a tail scooped his spear again out of the dirt while Zeks couldn't dare to find his sword again while they were so close. His mind raced to find some solution when a whirlwind of white-clad guards swarmed into their impromptu arena.

The crowd began to scatter under the direction of the provost but not so hastily that Zeks could blend in and make his escape. Instead he and Rust were caught by rough hands and a hail of shouting commands. The cat couldn't help but struggle, tossing one of the guards off before a club to the inside of his knee forced him back to the ground where he wouldn't have the leverage to fight back. He looked amid the fog of bodies to see Rust surrender begrudgingly. There was nothing to be done about it now so he sighed and gave in as well, letting himself before hurried along toward the local jail.

The trip was silent and brief, the provost said nothing beside their charges and punishment and the two fighters said nothing at all. The building was a solidly constructed basement just removed from the town square, designed exclusively for holding ne'er-do-wells: a short row of cells divided with solid but unattractive iron bars. The jailor had a table for his documents at the only door in or out of the place and a locked bureau behind him but was otherwise unadorned, even lacking any symbols announcing the sovereign authority of such a structure. The other cells were empty; it wasn't quite close enough to the festivities for anyone to get themselves in any trouble, so Zeks and Rust were shoved in opposing cells and left to wait out their five day sentence without another thought.

They didn't even take their effects other than their weapons, gathered from the scene of the crime and locked with the guards' own gear. But Zeks was happy to stew for a moment rather than gather up the will for a daring escape. He crossed his arms and sat against the cool stone wall on the sparse patch of straw.

"We really could have avoided all this," Rust said, breaking the silence after nearly a half hour of awkward silence. "If I didn't have to chase you all across the wilderness we could be warm and free someplace nice."

Zeks waited a long moment, trying to ignore the self important tone. "And bored out of my gourd."

"A couple more years and we could travel again. Just be patient. For once in your damned life, slow down and stay somewhere."

Despite his rising tone, there was something forlorn about the admonition. The rat stared deeply through the bars and locked his green eyes with Zeks' blue ones. The contest lasted only a few seconds before a pang of guilt made the feline turn to an empty yet suddenly fascinating corner of his cell.

"You belong to me, Zeks," Rust continued desperately. "No one knows you, needs you like I do. Do you think I like chasing you like a bounty hunter? Just come back to me."

The cougar waited a moment longer, doing his very best not to think of anything at all. Yet memories of traipsing the wilds together pushed at the edges of his consciousness. Harsh trials delving into ancient ruins, cold nights made warm again. It had been years and the memories, even unbidden, were the fondest Zeks had. Yet, the path Rust had chosen felt like dying. Nothing new, nothing challenging. He couldn't stay in those walls forever. Rust had the brains for such a life.

Still, he couldn't bring himself to reject that mournful look in his old companion's eyes. So the feline uncoiled himself and wandered wordlessly toward the cell door. A sigh fell out of him as he reached into one of his pouches and extracted a worn pick. The lock was old and simple to undo, even reaching through the bars to do it. The old door was more trouble, creaking at the slightest push but a sharp shush from across the narrow corridor stopped him before he could make another attempt.

A rush of air followed a whispered incantation and a strange, sweet scent drifted through it: a hazy, sleepy redolence that Zeks had to shake out of his head before it carried him off into dreams. Rust smiled a bit, a hint of their old misadventures soothing the wound of their separation. "If he's like most folks we have an hour to ourselves," he explained modestly.

The door swung open without much issue and the opposite door did the same but rather than rush to finish their fight or to fly out into the street they waited. A pregnant stare locked their feet in place until Zeks finally found the words to say. "I'm not going back with you. You know that."

He stepped forward into the cell, and wrapped his arms around a familiar pair of hips, pulling himself so close that the massive weight of Rust's maleness folded around his own. The warmth of it surged in a gentle wave. Silence filled what little space there was between them for a split second before their lips met, heated tongues writhing to touch while their bodies swelled with anticipation and hunger too long unsated.

Rust's fingers gripped tightly around Zeks' back, crushing them together. The heat of him was oppressive but entirely too inviting. Warm masculinity overpowered the scent of the dingy cell while the pair ground their hips together. Rust's tender globes even seemed to swell as they shared that moment. The kiss broke into heaving breaths and in the interlude, the cougar hooked his fingers into the lace band around his old friend's waist. The fabric sloughed away easily enough and released a new wave of musk to wash over the two of them.

Hot fingers clutched at Zeks' rump, trembling just enough for him to feel the excitement coursing through them. He answered with his own tender grasp and stroked at the taut sac dominating the space between their legs. The weight of each teste seeming so impossible to carry around; a familiar and still alien wonder of flesh. Pleasure echoed off the walls to add to the haze of need around them and followed a slow rhythm set by careful tugs and flicks of the cat's fingers.

Precum quickly started to roll down Rust's length and over Zeks hands in wide rivulets of balmy slickness. The flow increased moment by moment until it was a cascade of soothing lust that the cat couldn't ignore. He dropped down to his heels, bringing himself face to face with the monstrous swell of Rust's need and buried himself in snout first. The overwhelming aura of sex, the wave of old memories, the desperate thirst of the taste of rat all hit him like an electric spark. The moisture rolling over his face, the weight against him, the plush heat radiation into his skin. He could barely contain himself.

Zeks' tongue unfurled into the cleft between each tremendous orb and slurped up as much of the sexual oil as he could gather. The flavor was like a fine spice: bright and intense, overpowering the salt-tinted taste of skin and sweat. The pure force of sensation had his own thong tensed tautly around a steel erection, a dark spot growing wide and sopping down to the floor with each hungry lick.

Rust groaned deeply and thrust his hand on top of the feline's head as if he might flee from the bulging meat. His tail thrashed wildly with just as much anticipation as the tongue coiling around his weakest spot. A chorus of gasps, smacking lips and drawn out whines filled the jail in a chaotic cacophony that might have woken the dead were it not for the rat's magic. Zeks left no inch of those balls unloved, slurping and sucking the cranium sized organs until Rust simply couldn't handle it anymore.

Rust's other grip joined the first, humping desperately at his beloved cat's face, bashing his body with the inexorable force of his swollen orbs. His shaft grinding and sliding with no control over each and every contour of Zeks' face. The feline dropped from a squat to kneeling to keep from falling over. The barrage of cock and balls only increased the lust in him, urged his own hands, almost unbidden, to fumble for his own arm length cudgel and tug voraciously. The sound of precum squished and sloshed and echoed between them, the wet splatters spreading across the room as Rust's fat length fired long glistening arcs every which way and Zeks' spread into a growing pond of shining musk.

Before long though, the rat couldn't hold back. His whole body tensed, just as it had on the street, and he buried Zeks in the valley of his balls and exploded in a thick, white torrent. As Heavy and smooth as rich batter, the first shot landed audibly on the stone floor as far away as Zeks' abandoned cell. The end of the volley left a broad ribbon steaming on the cat's back. A spasming hump sent the second blast into the ceiling with another wet thud. Pearls of gooey sex rolling down from Rust's tip down to his balls charged Zeks with even more greed for their distinctive taste, pushing back against clutching fingers until he had enough space to hunt each one down with instinctual fervor.

The cougar's own hands were a feverish blur, milking with all their might to join the geyser spewing over his head. The murine continued to paint him white and pulse with every mind numbing shot of virile cream. Even dozens of ropes in, his tremendous balls still tensed and jumped to pump out more. Zeks could feel the heat of it all rolling down his body, falling over shoulders and following the shape of his body toward his own loins. Finally, after almost too long, his head rolled back and his own first blast ricocheted off Rust's balls.

After so long they finally got to share another moment like this. No thought of the inevitable future, just spasms of orgasm showering one another. The rat grabbed at Zeks' head again, clumsily aiming his turgid crown for the cat's mouth. After a couple sticky, sloppy thrusts, he found the mark, filling him all at once with blissful flavor. The cloying heat almost made him choke but the cougar recovered quickly, instead suckling on it like he hadn't eaten for days.

Rust slumped against the wall and spilled toward the floor, spent but still cumming buckets worth of his potent seed. Zeks followed greedily, tail high, drooping strings of semen dangling like dewy spider webs. They stayed entwined until the peak sloped away and, before he could swallow the last of it, Rust pulled the cat by his cheeks and kissed him deeply. This was less crazed than before; the still heated gel spread from one mouth to the other sharing the afterglow. The mix of them blending into a smooth froth until they'd each finished their share. Then they remained: emptied and sweaty and bundled together.

Silence filled the air again, less awkward than before. It was like their paths had never split. But memory came back, and started with Rust. His thighs pressed together into a snare, a warm possessive trap. "Please," he whispered, stroking his sticky head despite the harsh grip.

"Even if I would, we can't stay here," Zeks countered, squirming with the aid of rat sperm to squeeze free then roll back to his feet.

He offered a hand to help the rat stand then together they snuck past the still ensorcelled guard, each gathering his weapon on the way after another quick pick of the lock, then back out onto the street. The clouds had gotten dark in preparation for snow but the people still crossed with joy in their steps, indifferent to the two fugitives measuring their next move.

"You could come with me, you know?" Zeks offered, knowing what the answer would be.

"I have--"

"Responsibilities."

The silence came between them again. Still, neither could leave. Zeks reached into his thong again and rummaged quickly, Finding a single silver coin. A with old thing, it's face ruined with age but unmistakable for what little design still showed.

"I only have one of these," Zeks explained. "I might lose it, you know how I am." Rust knew how he was, this wasn't something he'd ever lose. "I'll need it back eventually."

The cougar placed it in Rust's hand, cradling his bare skin in his rough fingers.

"What if I can't wait that long?"

Zeks smiled wickedly. "You've never had trouble finding me before." He leaned over and kissed the rat's cheek before turning into the crowd and toward the wilds.
