What happens if Leah had imprinted?

...What if he became everyone's worst nightmare?

Seth is going to need a therapist.

Child of the Moon

In the quiet little logging town of Forks, Washington it were an unusually sunny day for being the beginning of spring. A cool unusually strong dry east wind came off the mountains all night and into the morning keeping the marine clouds well offshore. All the townsfolk were out and about utilizing the first actual nice day in a couple months. Since town was several miles away from La Push, it was very common for the residents to visit the town for shopping and other services; however, something else came in with the wind, something...different.

A strong scent akin to that of the Quileute shapeshifters wafted in the breeze; however, there were several differences, which a major one was it had faint metallic tinge to it. It piled on the minds of our young wolf pack as they rode on the bed of a black 1985 GMC pickup truck. Their original mission was to acquire supplies for a big bonfire party on the beach for later in the day; although, it were obvious to everyone that they must investigate the origin of the earthy odor.

As they pulled into the Thriftway parking lot, a well-built slightly taller than average height backpacker in his mid-twenties walked across the parking lot with his hands shoved into the pockets of his green cargo short pockets. The smell appeared to emanate from him, and he seemed more vigilant than the usual person, other than that there was nothing much of interest about him.

Leah was too busy with playing a game on her phone to pay any sort of attention until Jake rudely interrupted her concentration. "I found him!" he said telepathically.

She immediately and slowly glanced up at him slightly irritated. "Oh really? Thanks for the update!" she muttered sarcastically. She rolled her eyes and stowed her phone into her pocket as Jake pulled into a spot.

She looked towards her brother with an intense leer causing him to become submissive at this juncture. She jumped out and put in her ear buds before she ran her playlist on her phone. She hoped that it would drown out the talk about her being 'increasingly bitchy' since Sam's wedding. The music could only do so much to prevent her from spontaneously shifting into her wolf form.

She grumbled unintelligibly as she yanked the cart so hard sparks flew off where the carts rubbed off each other upon separation. The rest of her pack kept a lengthy distance while they continued to walk on eggs with her. No one had a clue the amount of danger they were in as she roamed the aisles wound up so tight that one touch would set of a catastrophic snap.

Then the chain reaction initiated, with a collision of a horrific car accident, her cart struck the broadside of backpacker's causing it to fling to the side. The backpacker amazingly kept it from flying clear into the produce section as automatically assumed he were at fault."Oop, sorry about that!" he said modestly.

To her packs' chagrin, she began to imprint, and she began to stare at him transfixed for a several seconds. He only noticed after he checked the merchandise in his cart for damages. He looked up at her awkwardly and took a step back. "Are you alright?" he asked.

He looked over towards her pack, which their mouths hung open while Embry slapped himself in the forehead. The backpacker got creeped out and pushed his cart away with urgency.

"You gotta be kidding me...this couldn't have waited until we knew what the hell he is first!?" Jake muttered.

Seth looked back at him confused. "What's the problem? He's not a vamp" he asked.

"We don't know if he's dangerous or not?"

"That poor man" Embry murmured.

Jake watched the backpacker walk up to the cashier, he started loading up the conveyor with food and other goods. "Where you from?" she asked.

He looked up at her and paused a moment. "Uh..." he stalled trying to think of a proper response. "Tacoma?" he said more as a question unsure if she would accept that as an answer.

The cashier raised an eyebrow. "You what brings you out here all the way from Tacoma?" she asked. The man paused once more and his eye squinted. "I got bored" he said. She mistook his honesty for a joke and laughed. "Are you camping?" she asked

The man sighed in relief and nodded. "I camp all the time" he said as he began shoving his goods into his back pack, which the she looked at him oddly. He looked over at Jacob and Seth who were still staring at him, which he backed up only to bump into Leah again. His eye twitched as he raised his hands up in the air defensively. "Look, I gotta go!" he said nervously as he pointed towards the door.

The man grabbed his bag and rushed out of the grocery store with a backpack fit to burst. "Wait!" She shouted as she took off after him. Jacob grabbed onto Seth's sleeve preventing him from chasing after Leah knowing she would chase down this guy to the ends of the earth. She was the fastest of their pack after all.

Meanwhile outside, the man stopped on a gravel road that entered the forest and looked back at Leah oddly noting that she were out of the ordinary to have caught up to him. "You aren't following me by any chance are you?" he asked. He already knew the answer to this and closed his eyes leaning against the gate that entered the logging road. "So what's this imprinting thing your friends were hollering about?" he asked.

She tucked her hair behind her ear and batted her eyes at him. "Well...it's uh...something our kind experiences when we find our...soul mate" she said.

He opened his eyes and laughed to himself nervously as she got within a very intimate distance from him. She did not touch him since her hands were held behind her back smiling upon him. He ditched the intimidated act and his true personality came out.

"Okay, It's nice that you know whom you want to have pups with, but we just met" he said before he cleared his throat. "You know what, let's back up. Hi, my name is Fen. Nice to meet you, and you are?" he asked.

A red hue crept under her cheeks, but she regained her composure. "Interesting choice of words there, Fen" she said. He laughed nervously before she reached out to touch his arm. Their heated touch only reaffirmed their suspicions of supernatural nature of the other. "My name is Leah. Would you like to come to our Bonfire Party later tonight? There will be a huge banquet"

He brought his hand to his chin to scratch at his stubble. "Hmmm...I've never said no to food before, so why start now?" he muttered.

"So...are you a werewolf too?" she asked. He was startled to her question, but after he looked around, he nodded slowly. She walked around him and inspected every square inch of his body. "Well that's good at least. But, you're so white...and short. Hard to believe you're the real deal"

He feigned a cough before clearing his throat once more. "Yes, well...not all werewolves are alike. Luckily for you...I just so happen to be seeking for a mate also"

She cocked her head and touched his arm again double checking his body temperature, but also the firmness and size of his muscle. "Too weird" she muttered before she looked up at him. "Wanna go for a run?"

"Can't. I got my gear weighing me down. Don't wanna ruin it either"

She giggled and bumped into him roughly. "Oh don't worry! You can ride on top of me!" She said before she started to undress herself.

He gave her a funny look as his mind was clearly still stuck in the gutter. "Um...Excuse me?" He desperately tried to clarify with her about her intentions. "But we just met! I think it's great that we're both werewolves too, but I'd like to know a little more about the female before I ride her or she rides me"

She shook her head and walked past him. "Well, what do you think I want to do silly?" she asked before she shifted into a giant wolf.

He scratched at the back of his neck before he laughed nervously feeling guilty for his presumptions. "Honestly...I don't think I want to answer that question" he said as his feet moved towards her. He checked her out from behind finding her figure very appealing. She caught him looking, and a faint smile curled upon her muzzle.

He scooped up her clothing and stuffed them into his bag before he tied her shoes into the netting on the back. He climbed onto her back unfazed with her appearance; although, she noticed that either he weighed a ton or he had nothing but bricks in his backpack.

Her opportunity to show off her speed became severely hampered, but she tried to take him to her special spot as quickly as she could regardless of the extra weight. She leaped over rivers, streams, and gullies, and she wove around trees, snags, and rocky outcroppings. She stopped in a patch of old growth forest where stood a moss covered stump whose base was the diameter of a small school bus. Ferns and Fiddleheads poked up from the center of the stump. The giant log lay across a fissure where it provided shelter from the elements and maybe a romantic hideaway for two wolves to be alone.

Fen jumped off onto the stump where he pulled out her clothes and shoes handling them back to her after she reverted to human form. He looked around the mossy landscape and listened to the air rustling through the trees and the roaring of the waves off in the distance.

She sat next to him on the stump and "So what really brings you out here? I doubt you came here to do some sightseeing"

He did not try to hide his interest in her knowing that the jig was up. "Well, I'm resuming my search for anymore Vampires that managed to get around me a couple years back. I mean there were so many newborns that I thought I was swarmed around bees! I was only able to kill five of them before they scattered like cockroaches"

She frowned and nodded. "Yea, we have a few run-ins with newborns around here. We had a heck of a time dealing with them" she muttered before she smiled. "So just how big is your pack? It must be super huge to scare off newborns"

He gave her a funny look, and he immediately had a coughing fit while muttering "One" in the middle.

She cocked her head cutely not sure if she was hearing things or not. "What was that? Are my ears playing tricks or did I really just hear you say just one?" she asked.

He nodded slowly before she stared at him in utter disbelief. He shrugged his shoulders not finding it to be a big deal. "I never said I had a pack did I? Though, I am looking forward to starting one" he said while mumbling the last sentence to himself.

"Wow! You got to show us your strength now! I'm calling your bluff, mister!"

"Uh, Okay? If you're into that sort of thing then"

She gave him a tap of the fist into his shoulder getting a good laugh. Jake kept pushing her to focus back on extracting more information from him. She did not like being used, nor did she like having them listen in on her budding relationship with Fen. "Do you fight vampires often?" She asked.

"Meh, only when they give me a problem. Trust me, when they start going on a biting spree, then it gives me a problem. I don't like townsfolk getting all paranoid and uptight. They become quickly irrational and form mobs just as fast. I like the slow easy life. Anything that interrupts my sanctity will have a whole world of hurt to pay. It'll cost more than an arm and a leg if you catch my drift"

"Hmm...well, I don't like them at all. Their presence made me a freak like I am today" She said as she placed her hand over her heart.

He looked at her strangely and caught up with her. "Uh, you care explaining that to me? All of it? You smell more of a wolf than a bat"

She winced and looked up at him hurt. "You see...the magic I inherited from my ancestors came out of hiding once vampires encroached upon our lands. I'm the first ever female werewolf here, and my life has been miserable ever since. I'm afraid I won't be able to bear children because of it"

"If you are the first, how can you be certain that you won't be able to bear children?"

She looked towards the ground and gritted her teeth nervously. "My menstrual cycle stopped the first day I phased"

"Oh? So you've started your estrous cycle then?"

Her head snapped back at him and her eyes widened in mortification. "My what!?"

He coughed awkwardly and squirmed about the details as he was not an expert on female werewolf reproduction systems. "You know? Instead of having your time of the month it becomes more of...a time of the year?"

She scowled at him. "I haven't bled in a couple years, genius!"

"Hey, I'm not a vet okay? All I'm staying is that it will happen" he said before he cringed. "You probably won't like it once it does. Just saying...you probably will have litters"

She looked up at him and cringed. "I'll take your word for it"

"You aren't a freak to me. To me, you are a beautiful and attractive shewolf" He said before she leaned into him and sighed peacefully feeling that her life was getting back on track. She got lost in his scent getting a feel for his lifestyle. He was clean, but he smelled of stream water. His musk had a soothing comforting effect on her, and she lightly dozed off listening to the strong rhythm of his heart. He closed his eyes taking the opportunity to meditate, but he would periodically open an eye to check his surroundings.

After a while, she caught onto his uneasiness, and she pulled away looking with great concern. "Is there something wrong?" she asked before she noticed a vampire smell. "How did I miss this?" she muttered to herself.

"I'm on my way!" Jake told her telepathically.

The hairs on the back of her neck stood up, but he reached to squeeze her hand. She looked at him anxiously, but she saw confidence and an iota of indifference to the threat. "How can you be so calm right now?"

He shrugged and stood up. "We're being scouted not attacked"

She could not help but feel exposed and vulnerable with the enemy knowing a very intimate detail about her life. "How long have they been watching us?"

"An hour or so. I wasn't keeping track"

She got up and rubbed her arm feeling her skin crawl. "I thought they were all on vacation"

"They are on vacation...This might be a newborn he's been tracking. I don't why he's not attacking 'em. That thing has information about you and him" Jacob told her telepathically.

"I trust his judgement, Jake. I don't need saving either!" She lectured him telepathically.

He looked up at her oddly and raised an eyebrow. "So you are familiar with them? You care filling me in then?"

"What the Cullens'? They are nothing but trouble! They are the reason why we phased..."

"So did they sire all of those newborns then?"

"No, Victoria made them"

"So she's responsible then?"

"What? No! She was a part of James' Coven. They were drawn here by the Cullens'"

"So James is responsible?"

Finally she let out a frustrated scream. "Look! If it weren't for them being here, all of this wouldn't have happened!"

"Hey, I'm just following along, but what if I made the argument that they indirectly brought me here? Then what?"

She looked away and whimpered softly. "I-I-I...don't know. Did they?" she stuttered.

"Tch, I have no fucking clue who these people are. I'm just really good at finding trouble, or it finds me. The point is, you cannot pit one thing to give you this result. It's a collection of little things that add up to a big result. You change one thing it might be a big change in one direction or the other, it might not make any difference at all" he said before he stood up and placed a hand on her back.

"Hey, I'll help you with being a werewolf, but you gotta understand. I don't care about small fry...I'm looking at the bigger fish. They aren't the reason why kind has dwindled to almost nothing. If there were more of us around, then surely you'd have a better understanding with what's going on with you. It's because of these bigger fish that life as a wolf is full of hardship. Living in isolation is not my idea of a life worth living"

"So you know of the Volturi then?" She asked in horror, except a deep respect and satisfaction arose soon thereafter.

"Man am I hungry...when is this feast supposed to happen?"

She let out a loud growl feigning her frustration at his diversion tactic, but deep down she admired his cunning and meticulous acting. She knew he saw a lot more fighting than she would ever see, and she hoped that she could get him settled down and expand his kind...whatever variation his kind was.

Soon dusk came and a large crowd was drawn to a huge pile of wood dug in a pit where they had just lit the fire once Leah dragged her new boyfriend over. Her mother flocked over to inspect him thoroughly, which it was obvious that Seth had told her everything. "Mom, this is Fen. He's from Tacoma"

Sue held her hand out with a weary smile. "He looks very handsome. Pleased to meet you!" she said before she immediately looked towards his hand in shock once it made contact with hers. She regained her composure and looked towards her daughter. "Can I speak with you for a moment?"

Leah nodded before she followed her mother, but she looked back at Seth to shoot him a glare warning him to stay back. He stopped right beside Fen and sighed. "Why? It's not like I can't hear what they are saying from here"

Fen laughed to himself before he was surrounded by the rest of her pack and Sam's. They were perplexed with the information they had overheard, and they had loads of questions to ask him.

"Why is he so short?" Paul asked.

Fen huffed and pointed over at Seth. "Hey, I'm just as tall as he is!" Seth put his hand to the top of his head and tried measuring barely scraping past Fen's hair. "Um, almost as tall. The point is, I'm not short"

Sam crossed his arms over his chest and smirked. "The way you talk, you'd have to be taller than Jacob!"

"What happened to your shirts? Did...you wax your bodies? What did you lose a bet or something?" Fen asked.

They all gasped and their eyes widened. "N-n-no! We just get so hot that we can't stay in our clothes and..." Paul shouted before he clenched his fist.

"What you mad? At least Leah can take the heat? You gunna take a swing at me, bro?"

"Paul! Don't do it! We're here to have fun! He's only trolling us!" Jared warned. Paul's nose flared and snarled at him. "Paul! Don't! You don't want to upset Leah! We've worked on this! Breathe through your nose buddy!"

Fen gave him a cheeky grin before Leah ran over to them screaming. "Fen! What in the hell do you think you are doing!?"

Fen looked back at her and gulped. "Uh...making friends?" he said innocently. There was a loud pop, and Fen's head jerked forward. He hopped a few steps using the sand to dampen the blow to his head.

"Ow, fuck!" Paul shouted as he grabbed his hand.

Fen rubbed the back of his head, and Leah stormed over at him. "Fen that is not how you make friends!" she shouted as she jabbed her finger into his sternum. She glanced over at Paul's swollen hand and she looked back at her boyfriend concerned. "Are you...okay?" she asked as she set her hands on his shoulders.

"Not sure...my ear is still ringing though" He muttered as she felt the back of his head.

"Jez, do I have to keep my eye on you at all times?" she asked as she reached around checking his head. She was beginning to regret asking him to back up his bluff; however, she could tell that he was not harmed in anyway.

"Wow, he can really take a punch. Paul really didn't hold anything back didn't he?" Seth asked.

"No...no he doesn't, but maybe we should try to figure out where he fits in" Jacob suggested.

"Uh...what? Fit in? Look, I'm just passing through; I really don't like to follow orders. I will question you, and then you will blow up. It's not worth the hassle" Fen said before Leah grabbed his arm rubbing it sensually reminding him of her. He looked over at her, and she gave him longing eyes begging for him to stay with her. She knew he had no home to be going to, but she also knew he had the same wolf biology and wolf needs that she had. "Okay, you better put a big asterisk by my name bud! Your alpha's voice literally doesn't apply to me...just remember that!"

Jake had an epiphany and realized this to be an advantage for them. "You said you took our five newborns alone didn't you?"

"Yea?"

"You wouldn't happen to be that other kind of werewolf that the Volturi fear...are you?"

"I may or may not be...I could be something much worse entirely"

Jacob gulped sensing something very unsettling about his tone, and the rest of them felt the realization that they might be getting a visit. Leah tightened her grip around Fen's arm. "Fen! Was that vampire following you, and not the other way around!?"

"Psh! No...I wasn't the one running around in my wolf form was I? Why do you think I was so adamant about not shifting"

Jacob growled at him. "Oh, I don't know! Maybe because you'll lose control and go on a killing spree!"

Fen took offense to that and pointed at him viciously. "Okay! Where the hell do you get your information from? Vampire Propaganda? And I never said that I was that kind of werewolf"

"But you said you might be worse!" Seth pointed out.

"Yes I did! But they don't know what could be worse, but I do..."

Leah bit her lip and started feeling desires for him once she saw her mate bestow fear and anxiety in her current and former Alphas. She knew now why she imprinted on him with that simple premise. "Well, what's worse for them will be great for us" she said before she touched his chest. "You don't eat people do you?"

"Heh, I'd have to be really hungry to do something like that! You know the crap people eat? I would have blood thicker than molasses flowing in Antarctica"

"Then it's settled then, we could use a wild card about now" Jacob mentioned. They all let of a sigh of relief before their stomachs growled to the scent of the glorious buffet.

While they piled up food on their plates, Sue brought Charlie over to introduce them to each other. "So you're the big bad wolf I've been hearing about" he asked after he shook Fen's hand.

"Apparently, I'm the short bad wolf" Fen said causing them to at least crack a smile and laugh albeit uncomfortable to those who were in the know.

"Yup, a little scary wolf!" Leah said patting her boyfriend's shoulder proudly

They got seated, which Leah naturally sat beside his left while Seth sat to his right. Tabitha, Seth's imprintee sat on the other side, and Charlie and Sue sat across from them. Jake sat next to Charlie and listened in.

"So what part of Tacoma are you from?" Charlie asked.

"Um, I'm from the Puyallup Reservation, sir"

"Oh? So they have wolves there too?" Sue asked.

"Uh...not like any of the ones around here"

Everyone laughed uncomfortably, although Charlie and Sue's were the most genuine. "I've heard that a long time ago some of our people stayed in Puyallup after the big fire. Maybe some wolf blood lines got mixed there" she suggested.

"Uh, well...it's possible; although, my mother is from Muckleshoot and my father is from Reykjavik"

"Iceland?" Charlie interrupted.

"Yea...he said he couldn't stand the long nights, so he moved here" He muttered before he began to think to himself.

"So, what's your last name?" Jake asked.

"It's Sturluson"

"I've heard that name before. Was your family very prominent in Iceland?" Charlie asked.

"I would guess so. My Great-great-great-great-great grandfather Snorri was a brilliant politician back in his day" Fen said after shrugged.

"What about your mother? What do you know about her?" Sue pressed him.

"My mom liked to stay to herself. She was a gorgeous loving warm hearted person. She might have had some mystical powers, but you could say her biggest feat was taming my father"

Sue giggled and looked towards her daughter with approval. "He's very funny"

"So your mother was very powerful?" Leah asked.

"Oh yea...rumor has it, she was able to possess a chief's son made him strip naked and made him do jumping jacks out in the snow after he tried to force himself onto her"

Sue's curiosity was perked, and she touched his shoulder. "Fen? Do you know anything about your ancestors...on your mother's side?"

"Not really...All I know is that her powers are hereditary"

"Can you do such a thing?" Jake asked.

"Why? There's no snow around"

"No, not that...the possession thing"

"Never tried it. My mom was wickedly strong. They didn't call her the Ice Queen for nothing"

"You're going to love my daughter then" Sue teased before she gave her daughter a wink.

Fen wrapped an arm around Leah and grinned. "Ho ya! I would have figured I'd end up with Moro no kimi here"

Charlie and Sue looked at him strangely, but Leah understood him. "That was a Princess Mononoke reference" she said before she nuzzled him. "That's my favorite movie" she whispered into his ear softly.

"I can see why..." he whispered back. He chuckled to himself as she hooked her leg around his as they ate their meal. He looked over at Sam who was at the end of the table giving him death glares. Leah noticed and pulled herself tightly against Fen. "Your ex I take it?" he asked.

"Yea, don't mind him"

"I'm minding him a lot" he muttered to her, but he mouthed off, "Do you wanna die?" to Sam.

Sam mouthed off, "I'll fuck you up", which all of Sam's pack watched on helplessly.

"Fen, can you please...not do that?" Jacob suggested before he rubbed his head vigorously. "Get him out of here before he picks another fight with someone!" He told Leah telepathically.

Leah sighed and stood up grabbing Fen by the back of his shirt collar. "Okay mister! You're coming with me" she spoke harshly before she dragged him away from the table.

During the festivities, Billy had his daughter Rachel take him to the parking lot by the jetties where he could meet the newcomer that Sue mentioned to him over the phone. By that time, Leah had snuck off with Fen over to the sacred rocky island across the river to get cozy and intimate. Whenever Billy asked for Leah's whereabouts they would all respond with a squirm then a shrug. They did not want their elder to know what two wolves were doing on the sacred island.

Finally he came across his son, and just as they made eye contact, Jake turned around pretending be busy. "Jake! Where is Leah and Fen?" He raised his voice in frustration. Jake stopped and shivered before he looked back gesturing towards the Sacred Island across the island, which his father sighed in disappointment. "They wasted no time getting friendly, huh?" Jake nodded before he caught the scent of vampires in the vicinity.

He looked towards his father intensely. "Dad...we've got party crashers!" He clenched his fist and growled. "Leah! Get the fuck back over here!" he commanded her with his alpha's voice. Realizing that his command was superseded by her attention towards sampling Fen's prized cucumber, he got creative with his choice in words. "Then can you tell Fen that we just got ambushed!"

"He's not stupid Jake! He knows! He's coming up with a plan!" She responded back telepathically.

Jake gritted his teeth trying to assess how many there were, and he knew these vampires reeked the stench of human blood thus they could not be the Cullens'. The crowd of humanity was pushed back while screaming in terror as Seth got thrown across the beach by Felix, a large muscle bound gentleman. A black haired woman leaped off a roof top cutting them off from escaping by car. Jane, a short blonde girl blocked the path leading away from the Tribal school. Another handful of vampires helped aid in funneling everyone onto the beach for some reason.

Seth got up and staggered over to block off Felix from getting near his beloved Tabitha. Jake stood guard in front of his father. "What the hell do you want with us!?" He shouted. He was itching to transform and teach them a lesson, but with the whole town there bearing witness prevented him in doing such...for now.

Felix cleared his throat. "Well, we here have been sent under a decree made from the Volturi to exterminate all shapeshifters of the Quileute Nation, and all others who carry such traits" he announced.

Jake's eyes widened knowing that genocide were about to take place, but before he or any of his pack mates could phase, Leah leaped onto the beach in wolf form with Fen on her back dressed in the most ridiculous costume topped out with Leah's bra strapped to the top of his head. "Not so fast cold one scum!" he shouted in an over the top heroic voice as he stood on top of Leah's shoulders pointing at them triumphantly.

The Vampires looked over at them caught off guard, which Jane did not know what to think. Felix stared at him muttering. "Who is this one?"

"What are you doing staring? Run out of sight and phase! This is his plan" Leah shouted to her pack mates telepathically.

Fen laughed wholesomely. "I am the Mighty Spirit Warrior and with the help of my wolf pals, we shall vanquish you. The choice is yours evil doers! Give up! Or face the wrath of...the Spirit Warrior!" he shouted before he leaped from Leah's back, but he intentionally clipped his leg off her head causing him to land face first into the sand adding comical coughing to finish it off. A sadistic grin appeared upon Jane's face finding him to be most amusing, but while he had everyone distracted Jake and the rest of the wolf pack jumped over the riprap phased out of sight.

"Is...this guy for real?" Felix muttered before he shook his head. "Hey! Come on now! We're here to kill all of you, and you dress up for a panty raid!?"

"Tough talk Cold One! But I can take you out in one blow!" He shouted after he jumped up.

"Oh, yea? You have no idea what you're up against, runt!" Felix shouted as he rolled up his sleeves and stomped his feet towards him.

Fen took a step back and shook. "Uh, look here! You have no idea what you're up against!"

Jane caught movement in her peripheral vision as two giant wolves flanked around them, and she clenched her fists in hatred realizing too late that it was all an act. "Felix! Stop right there! You're doing what he wants!"

"No! I want you to leave!" Fen shouted back at her.

All of the giant wolves appeared from their cover having them completely surrounded. Jane huffed and looked towards her other ally. "Anna! Does that lowlife pose much of a threat to us?"

Anna's pupils and irises turned white as she initiated her aura detection powers, but she immediately sighed heavily. "He's not giving off anything more than the others while in their normal state...in fact...it's the weakest of them all. He must be their Omega"

Fen smirked at her, which it made her give pause. She thought she had seen something, but she never encountered something like that anomaly before, which Jane took notice her befuddled look. "What?"

"It's nothing...I thought I saw his aura pulsate for a moment"

"Pulsate?"

"Yea, I think he's able to manipulate his aura at will. It's nothing Felix can't handle. Do what you got to do" She said before she gulped. "But still...I never seen one take that shape before"

"Right!" Jane nodded. Jake and Sam immediately took off in opposite directions, which Jane growled. "Stubborn! You're only postponing the inevitable!" she muttered watching the wolf pack engage in fighting off the horde of vampires.

Fen charged at Felix screaming, and he swung his fist, which Felix naturally dodged it; however, sand flew into his eyes. "Argh! Son of a bitch!" Felix shouted jumping back clear his distance from Fen taking a defensive stance as he tried desperately to rid of eyes of the irritant. Fen ran at him with great speed and leaped forward with a hitch kick driving his feet forward straight into Felix's knee cap with a brutal crunch.

Fen swooped his leg underneath him knocking Felix off balance, but he caught himself and pushed off the ground with his hand landing back a great distance away. He finally cleared his vision, but he reached for his knee. "You're a dirty fighter! There's no honor in warriors who stoop down to this level! All you're showing me is just how pathetic and weak you are" he said mildly annoyed.

Fen laughed deeply as he set his fists against his hips with a flamboyant pose. "Sticks and stones! Sticks and Stones, Cold one!"

"Then how about a log!" Felix shouted before he wrapped his arms around a three foot diameter ten foot long hunk of driftwood and hurled it at Fen.

"Oh, shit!" Fen muttered knowing what was coming. He side stepped away from the hazard before Felix went for Fen's throat. Fen snorted as he pulled down his mask before he spat in Felix's eye giving him enough of a disruption to evade the death grip.

Felix wiped the saliva off his face shooting him an intense look of disdain and hatred clearly having enough by this point. "Disgusting creature! How dare you!"

"You mad bro?" Fen mocked him.

Felix roared out and backhanded Fen so hard that he flew into the jetty with bone crushing force. Leah and the other's watched on not sure if Fen survived, was maimed, or fine. Leah was filled with rage seeing her chance at a happy life being stripped from her. She left her post, which she was to be the last line of defense for the villagers. She bit into Felix's arm, and her teeth ripped his arm apart from his body.

Jane and Alec activated their powers . All the wolves collapsed to the ground either in searing pain or nothing at all as Sam and Jake were their targets. Felix noticed that Fen came back and walked casually unaffected by the attack, and he looked towards Anna for an explanation.

"What's this? Shouldn't he be nullified right now?"

"I-I-I don't understand. His aura doesn't indicate that he's an alpha..." she muttered before her eyes widened in horror. "His...but how? His aura is filling this entire area?"

"I told you didn't I? You have no idea what you up against! I'm Spirit Warrior, and I'm going to show you just how poorly prepared you are" Fen said as started to count steps from Leah. He stopped at looked back at Felix with a smirk. "Hey! Do you want to see something cool!?"

"I through with anymore of your tricks!"

"Oh, are you sure?" Fen asked before his voice morphed into a deep horrific monstrosity. "Because I promise this is gunna blow your mind!" he said menacingly. His teeth were now sharp and his canines grew immensely. His eyes started to glow a soul piercing yellow before he closed eyes.

Billy recollected the original ability of his tribe before he realized that the wind had suddenly shifted starting at a brisk breeze. Was there a link between shapeshifting and the powers of old? "Everyone, get down and protect yourselves!" He shouted before he fell out of his wheelchair.

"Do what he says!" Sue shouted as she pulled Charlie down with her.

The breeze erupted into a gale blasting sand from the beach into their eyes, and Fen disappeared behind a wall of sand that spun around him counter-clockwise. The column of sand and debris rose and hurled driftwood into the houses and cars shattering windows and denting metal. Flaming cinders and chunks of wood from the bonfire got caught up in the vortex giving the sand a hellish glow.

Felix stared at the massive landspout amazed and baffled, but Anna had to shield her eyes from the great wind, hot cinders, and debris. The pressure had dropped so suddenly that it became hard to hear, but Leah and other wolves who were closest to the whirlwind had felt their ear's pop. Jane's concentration was broken when a piece of sheet metal struck the side of her head and headed into the crowd.

Jake and the others were too exhausted and gobsmacked to move even after the wind waned. The swirling column became less opaque, and what they saw next was a frightening transformation like no other. A larger humanoid form which parts of his body and limbs not covered by strained clothing shown a black and grey fur. His face no longer masked unveiled the fur grew up to his jawline and met up with his sideburns and spread across his cheeks and tapering off to the bridge of his nose.

His ears seemed to be missing until he reached up with furred hands and removed the bra on his head unveiling lupine ears that sprouted on the top of his head. His yellow eyes fixated on his first victim, which Felix looked back at Anna uneasily.

"What kind of transformation is this!?"

"He's a Child of the moon!" Alec muttered.

"What? Aren't they supposed to transform under a full moon!? This is just another trick that..." he shouted before noticed his comrade's startled reaction to something.

When he looked back towards Fen, all he saw was a blurred hairy fist making contact with his cheek. He heard the side of his face shattering like glass then everything went black. To everyone else it sounded like gunfire as Felix's head shot back like a rocket severing from his shoulders while spinning on two axis, with fragments of face showering on top of Fen as his feet dug into the ground sending a jet of sand twenty feet into the air as he tried quickly slowing his momentum.

Anna looked towards Alec and Jane. "We can't stop something like that!" she shouted.

Fen stared them down after smashing a part Felix's torso with his mighty fist. They looked around trying to find an escape route, but the wolves blocked their way. Alec frowned. "I'm going to stay behind...get moving or you'll be slaughtered too! You have to warn Aro that Caius lied to us all. Now Go!"

Jane wanted to stay, but Anna grabbed her arm pulling her away as Alec stalled for enough time before Jane witnessed her brother's body torn asunder. His head was trampled on, and to her alarm, Fen was gaining and quick. Most of the wolves also followed after Fen, but Jake was even more concerned for the fight leaving carnage and destruction in Forks.

Seth and the younger wolves stayed behind to ensure that nothing else would endanger the town. Rachel helped her father up and Charlie found Billy's wheelchair smashed under a huge hunk of driftwood, but more importantly, his truck now had driftwood piercing it like a hood ornament. "My God! I hope my insurance policy cover's this" Charlie muttered.

Sue was flooded with thousands of emotions, and the one that won out was her pride in a new legend being a part of her family. She looked over at Billy with concern. "Are you alright William?"

"Yea, I'm fine" he said before he looked towards the children who were about to come of age, and they all been exposed to vampires. "We're going to have to have an emergency meeting"

Meanwhile somewhere in the forest, Fen stuck with Jane after she slit up with Anna. He tackled Jane from behind and pinned her down to the ground. She tried to use her gift on him, but the more pain she inflicted upon him the angrier he got as his grip grew tighter around her neck. He began pummeling his fist into her head.

Jake and his pack stopped dead in their tracks watching the already deceased vampire being mutilated by Fen, while Sam and his pack continued onto find the remaining vampire. Once Fen regained his composure, he reverted into his human form; however, his breathing was incredibly labored and rapid. Leah approached him with her ears pointed and whimpered with distress. He looked back at her understanding her concern for his wellbeing and shook his head at her as he had difficulty catching his breath. "Transforming like that...really...fucks my body up! I lost it when she tried using that shit she did to you on me...ow!"

His muscles trembled and he sweated profusely before finally he collapsed to the ground from overexerting his body. Leah rushed to his side and reverted to her human form. She wrapped her arm around him and brushed the side of his face. "You stupid idiot! You couldn't have picked a better name? Spirit Warrior"

He smiled and looked up at her amused. "Do you have anything better?" he asked before looked over at Jake. "Hey...Did you guys take care of the bodies?" he asked.

"Yea, Jake's already got that handled" Leah told him.

"Oh good...I really didn't want to have a round two with them" He muttered before his eyes rolled to the back of his head, and he went into a seizure. Jake was appalled to see possibly their greatest ally in such a vulnerable state. He did not want vampires to know about the drawback to Fen's powers either.

"Let's get him back to your place" Jake said beginning a telepathic conversation with his pack mates.

"Jake? Or clothes are gone" Seth told them.

"I found Jake's underwear! It's hanging off the powerline" Collin shouted.

"Thank you Collin!" Jake shouted back sarcastically in his head.

"How did you even get onto my channel?" Jake asked.

"I dunno" Collin answered.

"Jake? What the hell just happened? What the hell kind of werewolf is he? That was like some three little pigs shit right there!" Quil asked.

"Yea, good luck sleeping tonight unless your dreamcatcher can handle all that nightmare fuel" Embry stated.

"Can you imagine what his mother must have been like?" Seth asked.

"I know right? I guess his father was the werewolf then? How scary is it that a woman can put a werewolf in his place?" Quil said before Leah shot him a look. Quil's ears pinned back, and he backed up.

"Ha!" Fen muttered while in Leah's arms. They all looked at him shocked before he continued. "I got it! Call me the Medicine man! I give you a fist orally, and the foot...well it's a suppository"

Leah's head sank and she began to snicker. "Goddamn it Fen...stop making jokes when you're hurt. This is serious"

"Laughter is the best medicine" Fen said before he forced himself up defiantly. "Okay, which one of you am I going to ride home?"

"Fen, just shut up and get on my back...You aren't being funny" Leah said before she shifted into her wolf form. He climbed onto her back after she lowered herself onto the ground.

"Actually he's hilarious" Quil said.

"I didn't find that last joke funny" Jake said.

"He was going to ride you Jake!" Quil said beginning to laugh hysterically.

"Shut up!" Jake shouted.

Embry could no longer withhold his amusement, and Seth was not too far behind. Leah sighed heavily and stood up. "He's sick" she said as she turned to head back home.

"Yea, in the head! Paul must have knocked something loose when he punched him" Quil stated.

"It was one of those stupid jokes that pissed Paul off in the first place" Jake reminded him.

Once they managed to drag Fen back to Leah's home, she laid him in her bed where she sat next to him rubbing his side for a couple hours. Jacob stood guard at the front door while the rest of his pack patrolled outside. Sue came over to check on the welfare of her daughter, which she was very surprised with Fen's condition.

"Leah? He looks like he's got really low blood sugar...Maybe something sweet will perk him up. I'll fetch him some lemonade" She suggested.

"Thanks mom..."Leah said gratefully.

Fen opened up one eye and glanced at his lover nursing him back to health. He tried moving, but every muscle in his body burned and throbbed in pain with every movement. His stomach growled loudly "Hang in there big guy...I know what you need" she spoke softly into his ear before she left to join her mother in the kitchen.

While she sliced up leftovers from the night before, her mother leaned her hip against the counter. She suddenly let out a good belly laugh while covering her mouth. "Your imprintee is sure the trickster isn't he? When he showed up on top of you wearing your bra over his head, you know what Old Quil asked me? 'You didn't tell me your daughter imprinted on a Coyote'"

Leah laughed out loud with her before her mother managed to stop. "I haven't seen you this happy in a long time" she said while she stirred up the lemonade mix.

"Yea...I just never thought I'd ever get to imprint because I was a girl. I was worried that if I did, I would scare him away or hurt him if I got angry. That went away once Paul busted his hand over Fen's head"

"Well you can only imagine what would happen if Fen punched back. You know, He reminds me of Seth in a way"

"Mom, Seth has seen nothing, and Fen has seen everything. He's nothing like Seth" Leah said before she walked back to her room carrying a ton of food on a plate. She sat the plate on the night stand before she helped sit him up. He struggled to move his hand attempting to reach for the food, but he was thwarted when Leah grabbed it. "If you know you're in pain, why do you keep movin? "

Fen gave her an odd look before he looked down at the food intensely. "But I'm hungry" He said with a hint of irritation.

"Relax! I'm going to feed you myself"

"Hello dear son-in-law. I didn't know how much your kind needs, so I just made you a whole pitcher instead" Her mother said sitting it on top of the dresser.

"Uh, thanks?"

"Just focus on recovering, I'm only teasing you" she said as she looked towards her blushing daughter.

"It's fine. I'm not used to humans being kind to me after I wrecked their town, or find out what I am"

"I've known about the supernatural for quite a while. You don't need to keep the act around me" she said before he patted him on the shoulder with contentment. "I hope you and the others will quit picking fights with each other. You've proven your worth" he said.

Outside, Charlie sat in his truck with his window down. A pair of headlights came down the road stopped outside of the house. He poked his head out watching Jake rush over to confront them. Inside were Rachel in the driver seat and her father beside her. "Jake? How is he?"

"He's awake, but he's not moving around much"

"Jake, what the hell just happened back there? No one said werewolves could do that before!" His sister exclaimed.

"Yea, well...it turns out that he's an actual werewolf...you know the type that phases during the full moon?"

"But the moon isn't full!"

"Yes, and that's exactly why he's sick when he force himself to phase" Billy said before he trailed off and looked down at his hands. "I believe that there's some connection between him and Taha Aki"

Jake gave it great thought, which he wondered why the Volturi sent an execution squad over. "If the Great wolf was a werewolf, and he turned a spirit warrior....that would mean that they could control their wolf form"

Billy nodded before he looked up at him sternly. "Old Quil thinks your abilities as a spirit warrior still exist, and Fen could teach you how to tap into your fullest potential"

"Yea, I think he might have more of a connection than that. Don't you find it strange that he shown up just before those vampires showed up? He went clear out of his way from Tacoma to help us?"

"I don't find it strange at all if someone sent for him"

"You think Taha Aki sent him?"

"It is very likely" His father said before he sighed heavily. "I was hoping to ask him questions myself, but if he's still sick, then it can wait"

"Good luck getting a straight answer out of him"

"Maybe you should give him a chance to adjust being around us? You can't just expect him to trust you even if you got werewolf powers similar to his" Rachel suggested.

Sue stepped out of the house and looked up at them humming to herself. She looked up and rushed over to speak with Billy. "He doing much better now. He said he should be ready to speak with the Council in the morning"

"We that's good. He looked like he was about to die" Jake said.

"I think he may be milking it a little too" she said before Billy laughed, and Jake rolled his eyes at this. She looked to Jake and smiled. "You need to be at the council meeting. All of you, and I don't think you should mention that Fen is an actual werewolf to anyone. For all they know, he's there just because Leah imprinted on him. We'll have a top secret meeting afterwards in regards to him specifically"

"And Taha Aki?"

"Well see"

The next morning, Fen awoke groggy and fuzzy headed. His body refused to move; however, it was to a new reason. The beautiful woman sleeping happily on top of him reminded him of his wild days being over. He felt her head rub up against the side of his. Her scent was intoxicating and made him ache in odd places. Signs were pointing to him that she was ripe, and after the things she did to him during his vulnerable state, he knew her wish was going to have a bountiful harvest.

She lifted her head and looked down upon her godsend with satisfaction before she planted a smooch upon his lips. She let out a soft moan as he gripped her sides and them firmly. "You look like you're feeling better" she remarked as his grip wondered southward. It took her a great deal of willpower to resist temptation, but she managed to go against her imprinting instincts. "We're going to be late, hun! You can have seconds later"

"What time is it?" He asked as he sat up under his own power.

She reached for her phone, while straddling his lap. "We have about thirty minutes before the meeting starts"

"Sounds about right" He scoffed. He looked at her with an affectionate smirk as he crawled out of bed with her. "We can make it no problem if we skip the shower"

She looked up at him like he was crazy. "I'm not going to be going over now smelling like this!"

"What? You smell fine to me!"

"I smell like sex! You're taking one too!" She raised her voice while pushing him out of the bedroom.

"But...I'm not skipping breakfast! That's the most important meal of the day!" He whined.

"Get your ass in the shower!"

An hour later, Leah and Fen ran down the main road exceeding the posted speed limit on the signs. They flew past the traffic before a police car slammed on his brakes having recorded fifty-seven miles per hour from the reckless duo.

"You said you were going to eat something quick!" she shouted.

"No I didn't! I said we could eat and run quick! You seriously want to hear my stomach growling for two hours!?"

"I already told you they have food there you idiot!"

"Hey! After the amount of food I saw at the party, I'm not taking my chances!"

"It's a social gathering not a pig-out!"

"So there's going to be a pig-out at the council then?"

Leah struck him in the back of the head, and he laughed knowing he got her beat. "Ow! Hey, easy! I'm your imprintee, you can't be hitting me harder than Paul does!"

She laughed and knew that Paul's ears were probably buzzing with titters and chortles from his surrounding pack mates. "Hey, hun! I know you can take it! And you know you like it!"

"I do"

She again struck him in the back of the head as they slowed upon their approach into the parking lot, which Sue opened the door, and Billy rolled out to greet them only he saw Fen ducking with Leah beating on him. "Hey quit screwing around and get inside!" Jake shouted.

"Already got that out my system a long time ago! Ow!" Fen remarked before Leah jabbed him in the side with her elbow.

"I'm glad you're back to full strength" Billy said.

"Meh, I'm about 90%" Fen said looking around for food. All eyes were on him as he snuck over to the table, which only a fraction of the food was left over no thanks to the other wolves. The children could already tell Fen was not human once he let out a yelp as he was struck in the back of the head for eating at the buffet table.

They felt like Sue and Billy let loose a wild animal in the chambers for exhibition and now they were quickly losing control. "So is he a werewolf?" one of the children asked pointing towards him.

Leah quickly crammed a donut into Fen's mouth and dragged him over to a set. "No...he just has bad manners!"

The elders were amused with Fen's unfiltered wolf mannerisms. Jake and the others were mortified with Fen's actions, and there was nothing Jake or Sam could do to stop it. "Leah, control your boyfriend!" Jake commanded her.

"Jake, He's not hurting anyone" Leah said back telepathically.

Fen looked over at Jacob munching on the donut with a wide eyed stare. "Is he...is he able to hear us?" Jacob asked.

"I don't think so!" Leah answered.

Fen gave a big unsettling grin continuing to eat the donut menacingly. "Stop staring at me!" Jake told Fen telepathically. Fen only licked his lips, and his eyes seemed to get wider.

Leah looked over at him then she rammed her elbow into his side. "What are you doing!?"

"Making friends"

"Fen, that is not how you make friends!" she scolded him as she grabbed him by the ear.

Sam chuckled to himself witnessing Fen's ability to get under Jake's skin. "What's wrong? You afraid to accept his challenge?" he asked Jake telepathically. Fen shifted his wide eyed stare at Sam, which he proceeded to stare back. "Oh it's on you little shit!"

Sam's pack watched on helplessly as a staring contest ensued, and Leah pretended to ignore her boyfriend's antics, but she secretively wanted Fen to win. Old Quil chuckled to himself before he leaned over to Billy whispering. "The coyote is up to his tricks again"

Sue looked up and shook her head, but they continued the meeting regardless. "To answer your question, we've decided to include all girls because my daughter phased a while ago. If it happened to her, it can happen to other girls"

Everyone looked at Leah surprised, but Sue cleared her throat. "Fen? Can you please not do that. It's not wise to stare a wolf down" she advised him.

"Yea, Sam...you should know better. Ow!" Fen said before Leah twisted his arm.

"Knock it off or no seconds!"

"Okay, okay! I was only playing around"

"Alright, if everyone else doesn't have anymore question, this meeting shall be adjourn" Sue said.

Several minutes passed before everyone who was not a shapeshifter, their mates, and others with clearance were left in the room "Everyone, I will remind you that this meeting is for your ears only. No one outside of this room shall hear of this" Sue said.

"I want to have Fen step up" Billy called. All eyes were on Fen as he stood up and walked to the podium.

"Good morning council" Fen said politely.

"Fen, I have a boat load of questions to ask you, but I think what everyone wants to know is...what was with that ridiculous costume you were wearing?" A handful of chuckles came from the council.

"It worked didn't it? No one knows who the Mighty Spirit Warrior is or who is a shapeshifter"

"Can you tell us what sort of werewolf are you? I've never seen phasing done like that. Was the tornado really necessary though?" Sue asked.

"I'm the sort of werewolf that gives vampires nightmares, and yes, the tornado was absolutely necessary. In combat my transformations aren't as quick as these guys, so I use that tornado to throw off and blind anyone trying to disrupt my transformation"

"How did you learn how to generate this wind? Could you possibly teach our warriors to do such a feat?" Old Quil asked.

"Uh, sure. I mean the old wolf told me to do it anyway"

The council looked at each other before Billy scooted up. "Old wolf? You don't happen to catch his name did you?"

"Nah, he told me it wasn't important, but I think you may know more about him than I do"

"How do you figure this out?"

"I heard you talking about Taha Aki last night. His story and my mentor's story are almost the same"

"It's good to know you were paying attention during your staring contest!" Leah teased.

"If this is true, then you must be in communication with him through the spirit world, he's the reason why you knew the vampires exact moves, correct?" Sue asked.

"Uh...ya? Sounds about right"

"Did he know that Leah would imprint on you?"

"Psh, No! But her imprinting on me certainly made it easier for me to access the spirit world whenever I wanted" Fen said before he looked back at Leah cheerfully.

"So if he didn't know, then why did he choose you? He could have pick any other werewolf out there to teach a lost craft" Old Quil asked.

"Just so you know...the vampires hunted my kind down to a couple handfuls. It was a matter of chance for him to come across one, and he said I was the first to have the ability to phase at will and have adequate control over my transformed state. That was why he deemed me worthy of his gift"

"So this sickness...does it occur after every time you transform?" Billy asked.

"Not every time...sometimes it can be just tightness and sometimes it can be just as bad as what happened last night. I never had to fight a Volturi execution squad before, so I didn't hold anything back" Fen said before he glanced back at Paul causing him to gulp.

"Will your powers be able to be passed down to your children?" Sue asked.

"Yea, if I bit them, but I don't turn people unless their willing and that's only if they are disciplined"

"You aren't biting our children, Fen!" Leah shouted.

"But, it's a family tradition! How can I let the only true competitor to vampires die out? I already said it's up to them" He said before he scratched the side of his head. "They would already have Leah's bloodline, so the only thing they'd inherit comes from my mother's bloodline"

"You don't eat people do you Fen?" Sue asked.

"Not recently" Fen said before he eyed the buffet table.

"Was this before you gained control of yourself?"

Fen went over to the table to snag a few sausages. "No, I killed a man who tried to rob me at gunpoint a few weeks ago. I wasn't going to let the body go to waste" he said before he munched on the food. "I gave the bastard three chances to run away...wait" he muttered before he counted his fingers. "Whatever how many bullets were in his clip he emptied. I ripped his arm off, and he bled to death"

Jake and the others were speechless, Leah took a deep breath. Sue shrugged this off and cleared her throat. "Fen, when was the last time before that?"

"Uh, about ten years ago. That man was a poacher killing all my food"

"Yes, well...if you're going to live here, you are forbidden to kill humans, under any circumstances!" Sue said making sure to put emphasis on the any part.

"Can do!" Fen muttered with a biscuit in his mouth while saluting her.

Sue and the other councilmen had a small discussion before she craned her neck around watching Fen return to the podium. "Well, we are honored to have you a part of our family; although, we have a few other conditions on top of your stay here...do not try to agitate or anyway antagonize the Cullens..."

"Aww, that's no fun" Fen muttered before he gave them a stern look. "They will seek me out"

"Not so long as you stay on this side of the treaty line they won't" Billy said before he sighed wearily.

"Just stay out of trouble, or our insurance premiums are going to be through the roof if you keep summoning Tornados" Sue chimed in.

"Okay, fine...but that was a onetime deal. Those guys were freaking powerful. I think Jake can attest to that"

Jake nodded before he crossed his arms over his chest. "He might draw more vampires here once the rumor spreads about some of the most powerful vampires ever were taken out. It doesn't matter if Sam killed that last one, they are going to know we are an even bigger threat than they first feared"

"This is why I never stay in one place..." Fen muttered.

"Well, perhaps you can remind the Cullens once they return that they have nothing to fear if they honor the treaty" Sue suggested.

Jake cringed before he sighed heavily. "Yea, I'll see what I can do"

"As for Living arrangements, since Leah has imprinted on Fen, we don't have to worry about where he has to live; however, since he is technically a shapeshifter also, he will have stipends just like the rest and in exchange he shall provide us a service on top of protecting our lands" Sue suggested.

Fen cocked his head to the side. "Service? What type of service?"

"Well, we will give out commissions for community service jobs. You didn't expect a free ride did you?" Billy clarified.

"So, picking up trash?"

"It's more odd jobs. We're going to need all the help we can get to rebuild the school"

"Alright, it's fine by me"

A couple months later, Leah had discovered that she was getting sick constantly for a wide variety of reasons. Her mother suspected a pregnancy was the culprit of all of her daughter's suffering, so she arranged for her to get an ultrasound once she noticed Leah's weight gain. Leah was skeptical about her condition even when all the signs pointed to it anyway.

When they arrived at the clinic, she cringed when it had to be Carlisle who would be giving her the examination. He decided to break the ice with some small talk anyway. "How's your town doing after that Tornado? I heard the National Weather Service gave it an EF2 rating. That sounds absolutely terrifying"

"Oh, we've got everything cleaned up" Sue answered.

"That's nice to hear. I heard we got swamped with so many injuries we had to send people to Port Angeles and Tacoma. I'm surprised no one died"

"Yea, well...I'm just glad the tornado didn't destroy the town...can you imagine if it went into Forks?"

"I can actually...I've spoken to the mayor about disaster preparations. If we had that big earthquake, there would be no one to help us" he said before he started pouring jelly onto Leah's stomach.

"We've been doing Tsunami drills for a while now. We've been training Jake and the others with search and rescue"

"Perhaps I can help train them in first aid and triage? It helps us a lot if we can treat survivors who need help the most" He said while he ran the instrument over Leah's belly. He smirked and turned the screen towards Leah.

The little thing instantly tugged on Leah's heartstrings, and so did her desire to care for and nurture, but Carlisle continued onwards being more thorough than he would normally. "Interesting...there's another one in there"

Leah's eyes widened as she watched him start counting on the screen. "Huh, looks like you're having Quads"

Her jaw nearly hit the floor then she looked at her belly. "What do you mean Quads!?" she raised her voice. She began to feel overwhelmed with this news, and she touched her stomach that was already beginning to show. "You mean I have four babies crammed in there!?"

Sue was trying to hold back her joy and adulation for grandbabies, but she still could not believe the convenience of Leah ovulating just after imprinting. She wondered if there was something to this or if it was all a coincidence.

Carlisle shown her proof again and she followed his pen across the screen as he pointed to each one. Leah had no words as she saw the four precious babies nestled comfortably inside her womb. She really wanted to burst out into tears feeling not ready for so many at once. She sat up gingerly and looked towards her mother who smiled reassuringly. "Everything is going to be okay, sweetie" she spoke firmly.

"So who's the lucky man?" Carlisle pried.

"Oh, he's deadman!" Leah muttered.

"I'm sorry?"

"I said I'm going to strangle him. I told him I wanted to have four kids, not all at once!"

Carlisle laughed nervously genuinely having concern towards the unknown father. "Well given your family has no prior history with multiples, and they are all fraternal, I'm sure that your shapeshifting powers may have played a major role in this"

"Yea, my boyfriend already warned me about that. I thought he was just teasing me" she said before she sighed not entirely blaming him for this.

"He must know a lot about shapeshifters"

"Well he better...he's going to have keep me happy and now raise four of 'em on top of that"

Meanwhile Seth was with Fen celebrating at the announcement of Leah's pregnancy at a local river's edge restaurant. They both had received a pint of Lager, and Seth stared at it nervously remembering the last couple of times he drank alcohol. He watched his friend take the first swig before he did the same. "Why aren't you worried?"

"About what?"

"About having Quads"

"Well, I have no control over it. In my kind's culture, we find no use in dwelling over something we have no control over. It would make us a nervous wreck constantly with all the death and destruction. I also don't have that mind meld thing"

Seth cringed at the thought of labor, and he winced. "Thanks for reminding me!" he whimpered as he brought his hands to his forehead. "This is not fair!"

Fen laughed and leaned back. "I thought you said you were having progress with your meditations. Didn't you say the voices in your head were going away?" he asked. A group of tourists stared at them anxiously as they walked past them.

"Not all the time...I have to concentrate on it. You know it's kind of a paradox to be needing to concentrate on not focusing on the voices"

"Nah, you just haven't got that switch. It's more of a button right now. No worries, I told you it wasn't going to happen in one day. I'm kind of learning along with you"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, what the old wolf said was that the button I had performed the inverse function. Instead of closing the circuit with you, it was opening it. Although, I'd say you have a lower ampere do to it being on constantly. Switching it off can make it build up a charge"

"What does that mean!?"

"Don't know, just thinking. But, you understand how rivers and streams work right?"

"A little"

"Well, what happens when you dam the river? The longer it stays there, the more the water raises and pressure on the dam builds right? Now, imagine if you remove that dam all of the sudden, what happens to the energy potential? You have a huge discharge of water, right?"

Seth nodded and followed along with Fen's analogy. "So if we have our link close off for a long time, it can end up hurting us?"

"I wouldn't say it would hurt you...more of an intense wave of every thought and emotion that the whole town might have during the period it takes that wave to pass. Pretty overwhelming. So, once you do get that switch, please remember to regulate the water level in your lake"

"But how will I know?"

"Experiment...if you make a mistake, you aren't going to die from it in this case"

"So, does this work for other powers?"

"Yes, it applies to those also. It's how I learned to manage my powers. You saw what happened to me during my last full moon didn't you?"

"Yea, you didn't change much. So, did you dam that river then?"

"Well, there was already a dam there to begin with; the water level was low before the flood came. I can say, that my dam is pretty full right now, both in energy and feral mind"

"How are you able to manage that? You didn't go on a rampage when you turned"

"Eh...I was on a controlled rampage. I know the amount of feral mind coming in, so I lower the levels to give me enough cushion so when it gets there, the dam don't break. That one lady learned what happens when you incapacitate the floodgate operator"

"So, you lost it all when she attacked you?"

"Yup"

"And the way you act sometimes is part of you releasing that feral mind?"

"Yup"

"Wow, I'm glad that I don't have to worry about those things with me"

"Actually you are going to have to learn how to manage your mind if you want to master it. The only thing you didn't have to worry about was having to assimilate your soul with the wolf introduced to your body. You were already born with it"

"Wow, so is it painful when you transform?

"First couple of times...like a motherfucker. Now it just feels like wiggling a loose tooth" Fen said before he took another swig. Their meals finally arrived, which Tabitha was their waitress.

"Congratulations Fen. You ready to be a father?" She asked as she heaved the 72 oz steak from the secret menu onto the table. She would never cease to be amazed with just how much food wolves could eat, and she took pride seeing her man make the tough rugged men look like pansies. Today, she had pride in her family growing more than double its size.

Fen laughed at her wholesomely as he leaned back giving her an evil grin. "I've been ready for a long time" he said before he winked at her. "Leah challenged me that I couldn't get her pregnant, so I gave her four to prove she wasn't barren"

"Do you know what it's like to raise so many children at once?"

Fen was in the middle of drowning his steak in A1 sauce before he stopped to look up at her raising an eyebrow at him. "Yea, I was born from a litter myself. I know how chaotic it gets. I have some insight on the mindset of being a monster. I was biggest thorn in my father's side. He said I was so much more dominant over the others that I had more control over them than he did. He felt like he always had to assert himself over me than my siblings...I was the first to be bitten actually. Man did he feel bad afterwards"

"Oh my? How bad was it?"

"Didn't feel it...I lost a lot of blood though. I was only four years old at the time. It did change how my parents raised me. I was never allowed to play with my brothers and sisters or be around other kids. They were always worried about me biting someone. My father was always tried to make it up to me. Mom did her best to help me control myself. Once I did, my brothers and sisters still saw me different"

"That's terrible"

"Eh, I am different. I don't hold it against them" he muttered before biting into a slice of steak.

"Are you worried about biting your children?" Seth asked.

Fen looked at him firmly while he chewed his mouthful. "Remember what I told you about worrying things? That goes for anything hypothetical" he reminded him before he let out a tremendous sigh. "I've come a long way. If it does happen, I have the tools to give them. They won't be up the creek without a paddle like I was"

"He's going to make a great dad" Tabitha said before she looked towards her boyfriend. "I wonder how you'll handle being an uncle though"

"Heh, He'll be their favorite victim. He's just too nice and forgiving to put up much of a fight" Fen said elbowing Seth in the side.

"How bad can they possibly be?" Seth muttered.

Later that day, Fen and the wolf pack were on a sacred training ground to the North near Ozette lake. The fog bank was about ready to come onshore as the winds shifted direction. Jared and Paul were in a heated bout knocking the snot out of each other. The match was disrupted when Leah dashed in sliding to a halt. "Where is he!?" She shouted telepathically.

They looked at each other nervously before they looked towards the spot he was meditating in. "He was right there a second ago" Seth shouted.

"Fen! Get out here! Or I'm going to find you!" Leah shouted after reverting back into her human form.

"Why is he always running away from her? He's taken out those vampires with ease; doesn't he know he can take her?" Brady asked once Leah dashed off.

"It's kinda their thing...you'll understand when you're older" Embry answered.

"Is she gone?" Fen asked. They all looked towards him noticing that he was completely drenched, and Seth laughed at him.

"Did you hide in the lake?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about, I slipped off a log!" Fen said not even looking over his shoulder as Leah stood right behind him with her arms crossed.

"Fell huh?" She asked skeptically before she embraced him from behind. "You're coming home with me!"

"But I'm soaking wet! I'm going to get cold running back!"

She tightened her grip making his bones pop, and he gasped. "You should of thought about that before you jumped into the lake!" She spoke harshly.

"You're...crushing me!" Fen wheezed.

Sam's pack cringed, but Jake's pack knew Leah wanted to be alone with the werewolf. She released him and growled into his ear before she nibbled his ear. Fen gulped and looked up acting the part. "Well, see you guys tomorrow" he said before he was dragged off into the woods. Once they were out of view, Leah planted a big smooch upon his lips while she caressed the back of his head. Fen wrapped his arms around her and pressed his lips back against hers causing her to moan with delight.

She pulled back and looked into his eyes with a loving gaze. "Let's go to my spot...I want to sleep and cuddle there for the night. Is that alright with you?"

"Sure, but I'm warning you that I will be feral once we are there"

"When are you not feral?" She teased before she shifted into her wolf form.

Fen jumped onto her back and rode her all the way to their spot. She had already set up supplies that they would need for the night. Leah remained in her wolf form, while Fen jumped off to investigate the supplies. He then found the thermos filled with stew that he recognized to be Sue's recipe. He looked up at his beautiful wolf girlfriend lying on her belly looking back at him intently.

He slurped the steaming liquid as he constructed a romantic idea to match her setup. He searched the backpack finding a magnesium fire starter. He looked around for dry wood, which he found a snag not too far away. He took a run at the snag and jumped at it throwing his body up against it. The snag exploded into splinters of dry rotted wood while the rest of the snag toppled over snapping into several segments as it crashed down with a great thud.

He grabbed a slab and set it several feet in front of her before he showed her his hand as he morphed it into a werewolf paw. He gave the wood a chop breaking it down into more pieces. He dug away a perimeter around his intended burn, which he looked at her and smiled. "I need to burn something"

He took the magnesium bar and scraped off a large amount of shavings placing it onto a nest of shredded up bark. He struck the flint, and the metal caught fire giving off an intense blinding white flame. Leah had to look away, but now he managed to catch the wood on fire. Once the light faded, a familiar yellow and red glow replaced it. The fire reflected in his eyes and hers, which he removed his clothes and hung them up to dry before he transformed just enough to be covered in fur.

He sat beside her with his legs crossed, and she lowered her head into his lap where she got the back of her ears and neck scratched. "So I've knocked you up times four huh?" he asked with his deep monstrous voice before he chuckled to himself wholesomely. "Sounds about right...I didn't think I was so potent"

Leah snorted and rolled her eyes at him. He slung his arm around her shoulders and leaned back into her lazily. "You know I'm going to be just as super protective over 'em as you are, right?"

She closed her eyes and sighed before she licked her chops. He patted her side and looked into the fire intensely while he played with her tail. "My mother says that the first step is always the hardest, but I see you'll make a great mom...wolves make excellent parents after all"

She gave his neck a lick before she happily drifted into a comfortable snooze while she cuddled with her fearsome fiancé. "I love you" she spoke telepathically with a weak drowsy voice.

"I love you too" He said into her ear.

Her ears perked up, and she looked at him surprised. "You really can hear me can't you?" she asked.

"I have wolf in me honey...I'm reading your body language. You're not talking to me telepathically, but I can understand you just through indirect methods" he said.

Her anxieties had been settled and her mind was at peace knowing that he was the father. He understood her in body and mind, and she felt like they known each other for a lifetime. She rubbed up against him savoring their bonding time. She reverted into her human form and wrapped her arms around him. "If you can read my body language, then why haven't you made love to me yet?"

He chuckled to himself before he looked himself over. "You really want me to in this form?"

"You look good to me...don't tell me that the big bad wolf is afraid to please his lady" she teased him with a sultry voice.

"Um...well...if you think you can handle it, but I suppose I can give you a good workout" He teased back with an equally alluring tone.

"Don't keep me waiting any longer!"

"Alright, alright...just give me a moment. I don't like pressure"

Leah shook her head and pushed him to the ground. "Do I always have to help you? You always take too damn long!"

He huffed. "Hey! It does what it wants"

She smirked at him and pushed him onto the ground straddling him dominantly. "What happened to being feral?" she asked before she bit him in the neck. He roared out and snarled at her challenge.

"That's it! Now I'm pissed!" He shouted before he rolled her off and pinned her into the ground. She looked up at him with lust and yearning as she reached up to grip onto the tufts of fur on his chest.

"That's more like it!" she said before she said their safe word. "Pause! Being transformed like this isn't going to get you sick is it?"

"I can sustain 20% transformation for five hours. What got me sick last time was turning 70% with a whirlwind. I might as well have been 100% by then. I can only hold 100% for about fifteen minutes before I'll suffer some debilitating side effects. I should be fine having sex in this form"

She reached up and caressed his jawline. "Good cause I think I might like to break in this form once in a while...now continue" He growled dominantly and leaned in to bite her neck.

"I'll keep that in mind once my time of the month comes"

Several more months passed, Leah was so very pregnant that her belly had swollen so much she had an exercise ball stuffed under her shirt with a popped out belly button. Her mother would visit helping her out with everyday chores. Leah was busy organizing and cleaning the nursery. Fen and Quil were out at an elderly couple's house chopping a vast amount of wood in preparation for the winter. The old man watched in amazement in their efficiency and endurance.

Quil would feed the wood onto the chopping block just as Fen got the axe cocked back. He picked up the pieces to be reduced to smaller sizes, and refed them on the block before he would toss the desired size into a cart. Each chop went off every five seconds, and they cut up over 700 pieces of wood in under an hour.

The old lady came out with iced tea and sat it out. "My you boys sure work quickly. Look how strong your back is" she complimented him before she smiled at him cheerfully. "How's your wife doing?"

"My wife is nesting. The doctor said to stay off her feet, but she's not going to listen to his advice"

"Well, she must be very close to giving birth. You must be nervous?"

"Like I'll ever admit that to you" Fen said before he crossed his arms over his chest in a mighty if not exaggerated huff.

They snickered amongst themselves before Quil swatted Fen on the back. "If she gets any bigger, she's going to pop!" he said as they grabbed the glasses off the patio table. Fen took a sip before Embry poked more fun at him. "He should open a zoo with so many wild children around"

Fen grinned evilly and stared him down. "Yea! I should...you can be the star attraction to my petting zoo. I'm sure my kids would love to climb over the wolves too"

Quil held his hands up defensively. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Let's not get too carried away here. Just put the wolf's feelings in consideration here. You wouldn't throw one into a pit of wild toddlers would you?"

Fen did not flinch as his evil smirk grew wider. The old couple laughed oblivious to the context of the conversation. Quil was not sure if Fen were joking or not, but he could hear his pack mates laughing at Fen's snappy comeback. "I would love to see Quil take on my pups" Leah said telepathically.

Fen slung his arm around Quil's shoulder and laughed evilly. "You know...my children will have something extra special in their blood. They'll inherit my vast ki reservoir capacity, so just think about four Tasmanian Devils attacking every limb of your body, and what they can do once fully grown. Or maybe I should bite you for your insolence" He whispered into his ear. Quil gulped as his back stiffened, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood up.

Fen chuckled before he slapped Quil on the back. "Wow, you need to chill bro! Drink some more iced tea!" he shouted out loud.

Quil whimpered softly as his hand shook like a leaf. "Why are you so nervous? You don't think his bite is worse than his bark do you?" Leah teased.

"You did poke him" Embry reminded him.

"Tch, he bites me all the time you wuss!" Leah continued.

"That's different. He's not trying to kill you"

"Okay, I don't want to hear about this! Keep what you do in the bedroom to yourself!" Jake snapped.

Fen sat the glass down and stared at an old car driving by slowly. There was a strange but familiar scent coming from it, which he looked back at the couple. "Well, it's best that I get going. See ya later!" he shouted. He ran off, and Quil looked at him strangely.

Fen followed the car with stealth as he watched it stop just outside Sam's mother's house. He walked up to the car and knocked on the window. The man inside was startled, and he tried to speed off. Fen grabbed the rear wheel well, and the car began spinning its tires. The screech drew the attention of Allison, and she poked her head out.

She recognized the driver, but she was shocked with Fen's physical feat. "What are you doing!?" she shouted.

Fen dropped the car and fell forward onto his face trying to sell his frailty. As the car drove off, she ran out into the street to help him up. She looked down the road, and the car was gone. "Who was that?" he asked.

She frowned and looked back at him and gulped. "That was Sam's father" she said before she got lost in thought. "Strange...he hasn't aged a day since he left" she muttered.

"So I take it that he's never the stalker type?"

"N-no, I've not seen him for nearly twenty years. No one has"

Fen looked at her concerned before he walked off towards his home. Something in his gut told him that something was very wrong. He flung the door open startling Leah, which she immediately reached for her gravid belly trying to settle her upset brood. "Fen! You're going to rip the door off its hinges again if you keep doing that!"

He gave her a cold serious glance, which she shifted from irritation to uneasiness. "Where's your mother?"

"Why? What's wrong dear?"

"I need to speak to her about Sam's father"

"What do you want to know about that deadbeat?"

He gave her the most ominous stare she had ever seen from him, which her children could sense how upset their father was. "Because I caught him parked outside Allison's house, but what she told me was that he had not aged since he first left"

Leah's eyes widened. "You think he might have became a shapeshifter?"

"I want to clarify that with someone in the know. I don't like secrets being kept from me. Especially if it'll impact me farther down the line"

"How is this going to impact you?"

"Hun, just keep extra watch over me during my time of the month"

"Why? You never leave the bed anyway. I don't see how this has anything to do with...you don't think he may be another werewolf do you?"

He nodded slowly before she ran her hand over her stomach. "Can you please let them know that daddy's not upset with them?"

He looked at her oddly. "Why would I be upset with 'em? They're fetuses"

"Honey, they know when you're upset, and they don't know why you're angry" She said while he touched the side of her stomach. She murred and touched his other hand to bring it up on the opposite side. She looked into his eyes and smiled happily very pleased with him. "Just calm down..." she spoke softly as she leaned in to kiss him upon the lips and stroked behind his ear. He growled seductively prolonging their lip lock with many smooches. "...my dear husband" she said amorously while their lips parted.

Her contact defused some of his stress, and it reduced farther with every caress she passed through his hair. Sue had overheard the whole conversation, and she looked up at her son-in-law equally worried. "I don't know anything about Sam's father phasing, but he started acting strangely before he disappeared. I wouldn't tell Sam about this for now, but I'll do some digging for you. Why don't you two relax?"

Leah gripped him by the arm and guided him over to the couch. "My feet are killing me. Can you rub my feet honey?" she asked as he helped her sit down. She lifted her foot up as he sat on the floor, and he grabbed it working every square inch of her burdened feet. She tried looking down at him only to be obstructed by her enormous belly. "What do you plan to do with him?"

"Well, I just want some context before I jump to any conclusions, but...I mean the full moon will be happening soon, and I want to know his intensions and state of mind before I start planning. I don't like what I saw so far, and you've seen just how powerful a werewolf can be first hand"

She lifted up her other foot and sighed heavily. "Don't be so modest. I always thought of you as more of an upper tier than average anyway. Even if we helped, I heard those leeches say that they couldn't stop you, and they were the best squad they had and that was seventy percent of your potential?"

He let out a deep heavy sigh and nodded. "You'd be going up going up against someone at one hundred percent. I don't allow myself to go that much...maybe ninety-nine but never one hundred percent. I'd get so drunk off power that I'd lose all control. He's going to be completely out of control" he said.

"Yea, well your seventy percent is probably twice as strong as his one hundred percent. You're really smart too, honey. We're much stronger thanks to you, hun" she reassured him.

"Eh, he's still going to give us problems"

"He's Embry's father too!?" Sue shouted from the kitchen phone.

"What?" Leah muttered.

Fen and Leah went quiet and started to listen in on the conversation over the phone. "Yea, a couple months after he left, he called me one night to tell me that he sent Tiffany here so he didn't have to worry about hurting her and incase he got her knocked up. I've seen what monster he can turn into, and he smashed my back up against a tree with just a flick of his paw. If Harry had not shot at him to turn him away, I would be much worse off than being in a wheel chair" Billy said over the phone.

"Why did he come back if he's so afraid of hurting everyone?"

"I have only two guesses on that. One is that he's found out about Sam and is going to attempt suicide through using him"

"And the other?"

"He found out about Fen"

"To have him kill him?"

"That I'm not sure about, but he's pretty despite if he's coming around here before a full moon. He could be in the middle of being hunted down for all I know. I haven't spoken to him in a few years"

"What do we do about Sam?"

"Don't even talk about it to him. Josh would rather have his children hate him than feel sorry for him. At least, don't tell him yet"

"And Embry?"

"I don't want him to seek his father out...not before a full moon. The only one I want seeking him out is Fen. I'd prefer it if Fen makes his presence known to him. Maybe we can get some answers"

Charlie entered the house and approached Fen and Leah. "Fen, can you come with me. I need your opinion" he asked.

"Why me? I'm a little busy here"

He pulled out an android phone and showed them a picture of the same car that Josh was driving, but it was covered in blood. "Because you are the only one who is not under the treaty, and I need your nose"

"That fuck you shoot him up for!?" Fen shouted after noticing the bullet holes riddling the metal and glass with craters.

Sue poked her head around the corner with her hand covering the receiver and flashed them an intense leer. She abruptly pointed to the door wanting them to take it outside. Fen sighed heavily and reluctantly got up. Leah looked at them concerned while she set her hand against her belly. "Be careful, okay?"

"Always" Fen said flashing a confident smile as he waved her off.

"Get your ridiculous costume on, and let's go!" Charlie said before he headed out the door.

Fen scowled at him before he went into the bedroom to put on a more traditional tribal costume designed by Billy and Sue. His mask was very intimidating and his t-shirt bared the ominous insignia of the children of the moon, which resembled a wolf's head constructed with a Pentagon for the head, an arrow pointing downward for the ears and muzzle all while resembling an upside pentagram. It was an emblem that struck fear in those who were in the know because of the connotations of a building organization that could rival the Volturi. Billy and Sue were unaware of Fen's creative suggestion being provocative in intent.

Once he got into Charlie's squad car, Charlie's head sank and shook his head. "What am I doing?" he muttered. He started up the engine and drove off before he let out a weary sigh. "What do you know? All I know is I chased a stolen almost up to the Hoh headwaters, and this guy took five bullets to the chest and leg and he still managed jumped up fifteen feet and outrun us. I've already spoken to the Cullens and they explained to me that he is some rogue. They said he was not a vampire, but they said nothing else"

"I know very little about this guy, but if those fleas know about him, then I'm just going to have to get to him first"

"Maybe this wasn't a good idea. You better make nice with them or I'm turning this car around" Charlie muttered.

"A werewolf never bites their own tongue. Just be grateful that you got proper backup" He muttered before he tried to reach for the toggle switches to turn the lights and sirens on.

Charlie swatted at his hand. "No! Only I can do that" he scolded him before he flipped the lights on and sped faster.

Fen smirked and reclined back. "I knew you couldn't resist" he muttered.

"Don't make me turn it off"

They made it to the area that the car wrecked, and they parked on the soft shoulder next to the river. Charlie and Fen stepped out, and Fen surveyed the area behind the police tape. "Yea, he probably passed out somewhere. That's a lot of blood loss" he muttered before he looked back at Charlie and beckoned him to follow. "He's near"

Charlie followed him through the vegetated steep uneven terrain, and he watched the trail of blood end becoming a huge pool where they found Josh on the ground. Charlie reached down to check for a pulse over his neck. Fen swatted his hand away and shot him a look. "What are you crazy!? Do you want to get..." he scolded him before Josh's eyes flew open and bit Fen's wrist. "Ah! Let go of me!" He shouted as he slapped Josh upside the head.

Josh was in a daze and released Fen's wrist, and he stared at Fen's bite wound and panicked. He got up, and Fen tackled him to the ground grabbing him by the neck screaming incoherently as he choked him out. Josh was stunned at the amount of strength the cloaked man had and submitted to him, which Charlie sighed heavily relieved. "Fen? Fen! Ease up!"

Fen stopped applying pressure and glanced back at him annoyed before he released Josh's neck. Josh took a moment to rub his throat, while he stared at Fen. "Fen? So you're the one that everyone has been talking about"

Fen grabbed him by the shirt collar and snarled. "I don't have any idea what you're talking about! You must've got me confused with some other werewolf named Fen!"

"You're not the one who mastered transformations?"

"Look if you came here for lessons, you picked a shitty time to be doing it. My wife is about ready to give birth, and it's nearly the full moon. I really don't need you to be adding me more stress right now"

"I'm sorry...I thought being this far out in the forest would be a safe distance. I honestly didn't think we'd meet this soon"

"What the hell were you stalking your ex for?"

"I just wanted to tell her sorry...for everything. I had no way in knowing if the rumors were true or if you left. I've been searching for a decade for someone as elusive as you" Josh said before he looked towards Charlie. "I will be out here. I don't mean no trouble sir"

"I hope Fen can help you...I really do" Charlie said honestly.

Josh gulped and looked back towards Fen. "If it's convenient for you, I will come to your home after the full moon, so you won't have to leave your wife's side"

"That sounds reasonable. Just don't steal another car to get there"

"Thank you. I can sleep easier tonight"

Fen and Charlie left Josh to himself before they made the long trek back to the squad car. Ed and his coven waited for them to return, but they were clearly upset with Charlie for bringing a third party. Carlisle stared at the insignia on Fen's shirt having a traumatic flashback, while Ed and Alice had one of their own.

"Who is this guy? Why am I getting a bad vibe from him?" Bella asked.

"This guy is Leah's husband. He was the one who killed Felix and the twins after he toyed with them for fifteen minutes" Ed informed them.

"That's not all...you see his shirt? That's no ordinary logo. This guy does have ties with the Children of the moon. No run of the mill werewolf would dare bear that mark unless they had a death wish with the Volturi" Carlisle stated.

"Careful, this guy loves to fight dirty. He's armed to the teeth with explosives right now" Alice warned them.

Charlie looked over at Fen annoyed. "Does your wife know about this?"

"Fireworks are explosives. No one freaks out about fireworks. No like I'm going to put them somewhere where my kids would get to 'em" Fen muttered before he sighed staring them down intensely. "You aren't going past here, got it!?" he warned them.

Ed and Alice looked up at the trees beginning to bend and sway as the wind began to pick up. Limbs snapped off and slammed into the ground, and the others looked up confused to the sudden gale. "Where did this wind come?" Bella asked.

"It's coming from him...he summoned that tornado in La Push, Bella" Ed answered.

"Just like what happened with Caius..." Carlisle muttered.

"If we fight him, Charlie will be killed" Alice advised them.

Bella's eyes widened in horror as the pine needles started circling around Fen. "Dad! Get away from him!"

Emmett lashed out and threw a right hook. "Emmett don't!" Carlisle shouted. Fen caught the brutal blow as his hand started transforming. The wind grew stronger as Fen's arm progressively lost all of its humanity. Charlie took a few steps back and nearly lost his footing over the embankment. The wind threatened to push him over.

"What the hell?" Emmett muttered as he struggled to set himself free from Fen's clutches.

"Stop! We're not here to fight you!" Carlisle shouted.

Fen glanced over at alarmed expressions as Emmett fell to his knees still trying to pull free. He released Emmett causing him to fall onto his back. "Ow!" he muttered cradling his cracked wrist. The wind waned as he stood up. "Okay, I believe you now. He's definitely different than those scrawny wolves. Jez" he said trying to shake off the pain.

Fen looked over at Charlie and growled. "What the hell are you doing? The escape route is that way! The wind goes counter-clockwise not clockwise!" he shouted pointing to his left.

"How about a little warning next time, Taz!" Charlie shouted.

"Shut up..." Fen muttered grabbing his shoulder and yanking him away from the ledge.

Alice sighed heavily and shook her head. "I hope you had your fun Emmett...stupid" she muttered.

"What the hell Emmett! Is your head full of rocks!? Were you really going to put my dad's life at risk just for the challenge!?" Bella screamed shoving him.

Carlisle stepped forward and offered a hand. "We came here to help search for whatever Charlie was chasing"

Fen looked at his hand cynically. "We've already found him. Your help isn't needed" he said before a thought kept upon his head.

Ed picked this up loud and clear, and he raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean unless we want to piss off the Volturi even more?"

"Well, I hear so much fantastic things about you. You really must be under their good graces. They must really loving that you hold a treaty with a group of people who harbors your superior's worst enemy" Fen said before he looked at them all with a cold calculating glance. "I want you to make sure that Joshua Uley stays clear from humans during his moons. I have promised to teach him to control the beast inside. This applies to any other werewolves seeking me out who wants to have peace"

Carlisle nodded slowly and sighed. "Agreed...as long as you don't harm anymore people"

"Give me a self-defense clause and I'm on board"

"Done"

"Perfect" Fen said with a sinister tone as he up to shake Carlisle's hand.

"Guys...did we just swear our allegiance to the Children of the moon?" Emmett asked as he stopped rubbing his arm. No one said anything, which he became even more uneasy.

"If we can coexist with humans, then why can't we with him? Look at how far we've come? Look how far he's came..." Carlisle explained.

"If you're scared of the Volturi, you can put on Guy Fawkes masks while you're around me, that way you can be anonymous" Fen said.

Bella and Charlie both groaned to the terrible joke, but Carlisle cringed at knowing the context of Guy Fawkes' crime of High Treason and not just the hacktivist group who wear the mask. "Let's not...and not say we did"

"Suit yourself. Gotta be original I guess" he said as he walked into the squad car. He spent no time waiting before he started toggling the lights and siren switches off and on just to pester and annoy Charlie, which it worked brilliantly.

"Hey! I told you not to screw around with my car!" He shouted getting a couple chuckles from Jasper and Alice. Charlie looked towards his daughter wearily as he passed by. He got into his squad car and quickly shut off the lights and sirens, while Ed and his coven stared in confusion.

"That's Leah's husband? I feel so bad for her. He's so obnoxious and childish!" Bella muttered.

"Don't let him deceive you. It's what got Felix and the twins killed" Ed reminded her.

The next day, Leah went into labor, and Fen stood beside as her mother assisted with childbirth. He held his children close keeping them warm and safe. It was getting dark and the moonlight trickled in through the window. Sue looked over at him as he gradually turned into his werewolf form taking up a good portion of the room. She was surprised with how docile he was despite his immense size, and he tended to his offspring just as he would in human form. He licked them delicately making sure they were clean. The floors creaked with every movement he made, and one plop of his hind leg made everything shake in the house.

Leah was exhausted after the ordeal, but she was happy that her husband was taking his new role in stride. Her mother handed Erica, the second born and Helga, the youngest before she left to retrieve the supply of breastmilk left in the auxiliary fridge. Leah looked up at her two sons clutching onto their father's tufts of fur, while she made sure her daughters found a nipple to feed from.

"They look like they're in heaven right now" She said before she heard their bellies growl. They started to cry out in discomfort as their grandmother arrived with the bottles. She handed him one as she scooped Harry, the eldest, out of Fen's large arms and popped the bottle into his mouth. Fen carefully nudged the nipple of the bottle into Caleb's mouth getting him to feed.

"At least he's domesticated" Sue teased her son-in-law. He snorted before he tended to his child. She looked at the little one before she looked back at him sternly. "Fen, I think it would be best for your kids to not know that you're a werewolf. Just so they won't blab it to everyone. Once the magic in their blood activates, you can fill them in if you wish" she said before he sighed heavily and nodded.

Leah was disappointed but she understood her mother's concern. "Can he still cuddle them like this when they are babies? They aren't going to remember much of this anyway" she asked.

"I don't see any harm in it. I think that if they do have memories of him in this form, it should be a pleasant one. I don't want them getting nightmares or panic if they somehow walked in on him with his fur out" Her mother stated.

Leah giggled to herself. "Well, that's the last thing I'm worried about them walking in on"

"That's definitely true"

During the night, Fen slept on the floor with all his children curled up on his furry chest and torso. Leah laid at the edge of the bed watching her litter bask in their father's warmth. Whenever one of their babies cried out, Leah scooped them up to feed them and bond with them. Her mother slept on the couch in the living room, and Charlie slept on the lazy boy with the TV still on. Sue got up early to make her daughter and son-in-law a big celebratory breakfast, and Charlie sat at the table drinking a cup of coffee.

The babies woke up suddenly as Fen reverted back into his human form. He handed them back to Leah, so he could put on some clothes. He could smell breakfast cooking, so he ventured out in his wolf pajama bottoms and a stretched out torn up University of Washington t-shirt. Charlie looked up at the lumbering wolf dad, and he smirked at him. "G'morning, you look like you slept well"

He sat down groggily, and he nodded. "I just turn back into my human form" he said.

Charlie looked at the clock on the microwave oddly as it shown 7:30 am. "Wow, this late?"

"Yea...it's almost winter" He said crankily.

"Now Fen, you don't need to snap at him. He doesn't know the times you transform. This is his first time being around you during a full moon" Sue lectured him.

"No it hasn't!"

Sue raised an eyebrow and glance over at Charlie, which he coughed with his mug up to his lips. "Night shift huh?" she raised her voice as she placed a hand over her hip.

"Heh, I get it" Fen muttered.

Charlie looked at Sue and gulped. "Wait? Why am I in trouble?"

"Because I know about your little buddy cop thing" She proclaimed.

"Uh oh! She found out" Fen said with an evil grin.

"Shut up Fen!" They both said.

"Honey...I only have him tag along because he's my only liaison across the treaty lines"

"If not he drags Seth along, ow!" Fen blurted out before Charlie kicked him in the leg.

Sue's jaw dropped, and she shook her head beginning to understand what was going on. "You needed their noses huh? Can't your department afford more police dogs?"

"Actually that night we took Jake, Embry, Quil, and Seth out to go drinking. Didn't know he was such a lightweight. Man, was Leah ever pissed"

"You got Seth drunk?"

"Hyup!"

"During a full moon?"

"During a Supermoon"

"Why?"

"Male bonding?"

"Why on a Supermoon?"

"Because we wanted to watch it rise. Seth wanted to know if I'd turn into a super werewolf" He said before he cackled. "I scared him so good that he phased and ran away before he miss timed a jump and got his head stuck in a culvert. He forgot how to change back and we spent a good hour trying to pull his fat head out!"

"Fen, did I mention that you're Pure evil?" Charlie said calmly.

Sue had her hand up to her head rubbing it before she laughed to herself. "So that's what happened?"

"Yup"

"At least you got him out in one piece" she said gratefully.

"Yea, he remembered how to turn back"

"Ho jez..." Charlie mutter as he began to snicker to himself remembering Embry and Quil tugging on either of Seth's hind legs before he shot out like some sort of cartoon character flying back thirty feet.

"Anyway, I've asked for Josh to come here to begin his training" Fen said calmly.

Sue looked at him intensely and sighed. "I don't think that is such a wise idea"

"What other option do I have? I don't want to be taking him far away. I have kids to take care of. I have an obligation to teach him"

"Well, you're just going to have to deal with Sam then"

"You know I can take him"

"Yes, but don't destroy the house or get anyone else hurt"

"Nah, I'll just knock his ass down. I'm not going to be training Josh in town...seesh! At least give me credit for that will you? He's just meeting up with me here, okay?"

She let out an exhausted sigh. "Fine...just find a place far enough away from here. Charlie and I won't have a problem looking after our grandchildren" She said before she left to go check on her daughter.

"Alright"

Leah was inside her bedroom looking at her body in her mirror. She was not very pleased with how her body looked postpartum. She ran her hand over her paunch and whimpered not at all feeling like the attractive wife she once was. He mother stepped in and looked at her concerned. "Is everything alright there?" she asked softly not to wake up the babies.

"What happened to me? I look like a deflated balloon" Leah said in disgust. She turned around looking at her large rear and widened hips.

"Leah honey...your belly will shrink down. You just gave birth"

Fen poked his head in and noticed his wife's body image crisis. "Really?" he muttered before he went to check on his litter.

"You see what you've done to me Fen!?" She raised her voice slightly. She made sure to point out her transformation into motherhood, and he looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

"Turned you into a milf?"

Leah blushed and looked at herself caught off guard by her answer. "A what?" she shrieked before she looked herself over. "Do you like this?"

"Well, you do have a nice ass...looks even better now" He said honestly. "To be fair, the only change to your body I see is that you lost 30 pounds. Aren't you glad that you aren't burdened to carry that around anymore?"

She smiled at him and looked towards her offspring. "I know that, but...why don't you ever tell me I'm beautiful or pretty like you used to?"

He raised an eyebrow at her. "I've been stressing out about you and the pups. You were 9 weeks overdue. It's not like I stopped complimenting you" he said before he looked towards her mother. "You've been around us enough"

Sue saw both sides of the argument, and she nodded slowly. "Fen, you should complement your wife more than you already do" she said before she looked towards her daughter. "He's been an amazing husband to you. Hasn't he?"

Leah sniffed and quickly wrapped her arms around him feeling terrible for lashing out on him. Fen was extremely confused, but he awkwardly patted her on the back by now used to these sort of mood swings. "Uh, you really are attractive honey" he said.

"But I didn't do anything like you did! All I did was sit around and make you do everything...All I ever do was bitch and chew your ass out" Leah sobbed. He placed his hands on her shoulder gripping them firmly.

"It's alright...not like I didn't deserve them. Remember Seth?"

"Don't do it again!!" she raised her voice in anger.

Later that day, Josh shown up at the door, and Sue greeted him. After a few exchange of words, Fen escorted the man out to of town to begin meditating. Josh was not impressed with Fen's approach to this as he already did meditation, and he became very irritated with him feeling like their time was being wasted.

"What the hell!? I told you I already do this! Why are we still doing this!?"

Fen opened up one eye and gazed at him with pity. "The whole point of meditation is to calm yourself. Clearly you have been doing it improperly if you're this worked up" he said casually.

Josh stared at him in shock before he balled his fist growling. "I don't want to be wasting time! With this hocus pocus! It doesn't work!"

"Really? Seemed to work for me...look, the only thing that you're doing that is wasting time is halfassing your meditation. You're just closing your eyes..." He said before Josh grabbed Fen by the collar roughly and snarled.

"Teach me!"

Fen looked at him very annoyed and was unfazed with Josh's aggression. "I am, take the criticism and learn from it. It's not a personal attack" he said before he gave him a homicidal gaze causing Josh to release him immediately. "If you ever touch me like that again, I'm going to make you pick bark from your teeth"

"I'm sorry, I just want to get this under control. I can't take living like this anymore!"

"If you want to get this under control, then you must learn what your needs are. Meditation is meant to relax you and give you time to reflect internally. You need to practice your breathing. It's too quick and too shallow. It's not going to get your heart rate down at all"

"Okay, okay! I got it...I just don't see how this is going to give me control"

Fen closed his eyes and let out a deep frustrated sigh trying to refrain from smacking Josh upside the head. "You have to do this frequently. You can't just open the floodgates once and expect the water won't build up again. When I meditate, I think like a wolf. What do I need? What am I worried about? How can I resolve them?"

"How do I think like a wolf?"

"Oh god damn it" Fen muttered in mortification as he smacked himself in the forehead. He ran his hand down his face roughly making it smear like putty. "You been a werewolf all this time...and you never looked into how a wolf behaves?"

He shook his head quietly, and he watched Fen's head sink down to his knees before grabbing it. "HOh my god...you're going to be one of those insufferable mopey werewolves huh?"

"What do you mean?"

Fen shot him an angry leer. "You cannot learn to control being a werewolf unless you accept that you are no longer human! Avoiding to research wolves because it makes you uncomfortable is just...irrational. You have more in common with them than you do being human"

"How do wolves act then?"

"I can't just simplify it...and you expect to know everything about being a wolf..." Fen said before he saw Josh's skeptical look. "Survive and propagate your species" He simplified it.

Josh stared at him in confusion as it sounded like something all life did. "That doesn't help me at all!" he shouted before he realized Fen's point. "Oh...So...what do wolves do different than humans?"

Fen laughed. "Think primal and dominant thoughts. Humans have them, but they have a social construct that frowns upon enacting upon them without control. It's imperative you anticipate how your wolf will act given a situation and take note on how often you mediate those urges. Take time out of your day to vent out all of it. For those like me, I'll cheat and not bother mediating it if I deem it benign. I can care less about what people think of me" he said.

"How do you mediate?"

"You're making a conscious decision not to pee on my tree aren't you?"

Josh blushed and looked towards the tree and gulped. "I wasn't thinking about it until now"

"Don't lie to me...you wanna claim my territory don't you!?"

"What!? No! I don't want to piss you off!"

Fen grinned seeing he caused him to submit to him. "That was unfiltered wolf thoughts...you just submitted to me. That's a natural reaction for a subordinate wolf" he said before he whispered to him lowly. "Do I scare you that much?"

"Are you still? Channeling your wolf out on me"

"I have been the whole time we were here...okay, I did resist causing you bodily harm a few times, but...I made a promise to the tribe not to kill people"

Josh stiffened up and gulped. "You were going to kill me?"

Fen gave him a serious stare before a slow smirk crept upon his lips. "Let's get back to meditating" he said cheerfully.

Josh went quiet as he stared at Fen who was already meditating. "How many people have you killed?" he asked nervously.

Fen laughed and opened one eye. "Let's focus on meditating"

"So the rumors are true then"

"Tch, you don't listen well do you?"

"Do you even know how many?"

"You know...no! I don't count okay!?"

Sam stormed over, and he was clearly pissed. "You! How dare you show your face around here!?"

Fen groaned smacking himself in the forehead again. "Fucking really? We're doing this now?" Sam shot him and angry leer before he snarled at him. "Okay, we're really doing this now then" Fen muttered as he stood up. "Look, Sam. I understand you have daddy issues, but it's not like he abandoned you because he doesn't care about...you're not listening to me are you?"

Sam immediately transformed into his wolf form, and Josh's jaw dropped. "What the fuck is going on?"

"Well you're the bright one! What do you think is going on?" Fen shouted sarcastically. He stared Sam down and his nose curled while he bared his teeth at him. "You better step down! I'm not going to warn you again!"

The hairs on Sam's back stood up as his ears pinned back ready to attack. Fen watched closely anticipating Sam's first move while Josh still tried to figure out what his son just turned into. Sam rushed at them and opened his mouth. Fen remained still as Sam's maw drew near his shoulder. He ducked away from Sam's jaws before he reached in for Sam's trachea below his larynx, and he began to squeeze down on it. Sam's mouth remained open as he was being choked, and he felt pressure build in his head as his carotid arteries and jugular veins were blocked off.

Embry rushed in believing Fen was about to kill Sam. "Fen! Don't do it!"

Fen watched Sam go limp before he released him. Embry's eyes widened and Josh went to check on his son. "He's not dead..." he told them calmly.

Sam faded back into consciousness and looked around dazed. Embry looked to Josh and frowned. "So my dad is a werewolf...like you?"

"A werewolf, yes...like me, no. I am a more refined version. He's is a more rudimentary version. A standard model if you will. I'm just helping with giving him upgrades"

"I know, Leah already told me"

"Dad? You're Tiffany's son?" Josh asked.

"Yes"

Fen looked towards Sam who reverted into his human form already. "How long will it take to refine him?"

"I...don't want to think about it...maybe a year"

"A year!?" They all shouted.

Fen's eye twitched. "Hey! Don't get mad at me! I have children to take care of and a wife to satisfy! If I focused on him 100% of the time, I'm going to go postal!

"You don't want to help me?" Josh asked.

Fen almost shot lightning bolts out from his eyes at him. "No! But I'm responsible...I'm surprised you lived this long with how poorly you understand what being a werewolf is. I bet you have a whole lot more kids don't you!?" he spoke in a low growly voice.

"Fen..." Embry muttered.

Josh looked towards the ground knowing that Fen might be right. Sam looked at Fen surprised. "What do you mean by that?"

"Tch, Werewolves won't refuse to turn down sex. When we aren't out on the prowl for food, we are on the prowl for a one night stand. If we're lucky, we can find a female who we can trust and go steady with 'em. Though, I just see a scared man running away from his problems. Until he can accept what he is, I can't help him. My challenge to him is to learn how a wolf acts" Fen said before he stood up.

"Wait where are you going?" Sam asked.

"I'm going to do my duty as a father. I see you three have some catching up to do"

"Hey! Don't be dropping him on us! He asked you for help!"

Fen looked back at him indifferent. "You two are wolves...you can teach your father a few things"

"The hell with that! I want nothing to do with him!"

"Wow...you're really not going to let this go, huh? You should put my kids first. How do you think they will feel not having daddy's attention because he has to spend the whole time training someone not to kill people? Imagine how Leah having to raise four children by herself? Is that fair to them?"

Sam clenched his fist and snarled knowing that he was Fen was pulling the right strings. He let out a heavy sigh feeling defeated. "Alright, but I don't want you to put this all on us. You gotta help too"

Fen smirked at him. "Of course...maybe you'll learn somethings in the process" he said before he waved them off. "Toodles"

The next couple of months passed with no conflict whatsoever. Sue and Tiffany would often frequent Leah's home to play their part in helping with the fearsome foursome. Seth would help out occasionally, but when it came to diapers, he was not a fan. Fen had to cover his face with a breathing apparatus just to tolerate the smell, and Leah would use it whenever more than one baby was the culprit.

Just like Sue promised, Leah's six pack abs reappeared; although, there was some subtle differences. Her breasts, hips, and rear remained the same, but she was fine with it. Her husband still made love to her like they usually did, and they tended to the children together whenever they were alone with them. Leah was weary and drained, but she was kept in high spirits when Fen told her she was a great mom.

As Sue, Charlie, Seth, and Tabitha visited to bond with the Quads, Fen took Leah out on the deck to soak in the hot tub. Leah had found her spot under her hubby's wing and closed her eyes. Seth came out with little Harry in his arms sleeping peacefully. "So...what's it like being a father?" he asked.

Fen looked at his son and laughed. "Chaotic...but worth it"

Leah moaned softly reaching up over to touch his chest. "You're not ready for kids yet" she told Seth.

Fen chuckled to himself as he rubbed Leah's thigh. "Yea, I was not expecting four..."

"You aren't going to have more are you?" Seth asked.

Fen laughed at him. "Tch, No...but since I live longer and Leah will live longer...we might want to fill an empty nest"

"How much longer will you live, honey?" Leah asked.

"I might live 250 years...so...you won't have to worry about me aging faster"

Seth frowned thinking about his imprintee's fate, and Leah looked at him worried. "Can you bite Tabitha?"

Fen looked at him oddly and looked towards Leah, which she growled at him. "Absolutely not!" she protested.

"What if she wanted it?" Seth asked.

"Seth! I don't have time right now to be tutoring another werewolf! I already have too much on my plate! The only person I'll be biting is Leah" he said before he growled into her ear seductively.

"Fine..."

"Seth, you and Tabitha are still young. You really shouldn't be worrying about it. Fen's right...he's got too much on his plate to be creating newborn werewolves. He's got four of them already" Leah said sternly.

"I know, I got it. I just thought I'd ask"

Fen chuckled to himself and leaned back stretching out before he sank lower into the tub. "I might bite her in the future"

"No! Drop it! Leah scolded him.

"Okay dear"

Sue popped out the door next, and she looked towards her daughter happily. "Okay you two, I've spoken to Tabitha, and she said she's open to babysitting the pups when she's off. I don't think that Fen has to stay home all the time. He's a protector too"

Fen sat back up and looked at her curiously. "I'm fine with staying behind. I like to be the backup anyway. Being a waitress can be tough. I would want her to lose her job..." he said before Sue looked at him sternly. "Fen, you are going to do your job! Tabitha could quit her job and babysit. It would pay more" she said before Seth whined.

"But what about my free pie?"

"Come on Seth...Do you want Tabitha to make more dough or pie?" Fen asked.

"This is a trick isn't it?"

"Seth...have you ever tried getting romantic with your girlfriend?" Leah asked.

"Of course I do...why do you ask?"

"Seth...there are better things a woman can give you than just pie. Though I doubt you've discovered it yet"

"Oh I get it, you mean sex right?"

"No Seth! She was talking about cake!" Fen said sarcastically before he shook his head. "Leah and I can tell she wants to get intimate with you, but you're just too dense to see it"

"She actually complains to me about your disinterest in her" Leah added.

"What!? I love her! Come on guys! She's my first real girlfriend" Seth raised his voice defensively.

"Seth, make sure you wear a condom" Sue reminded him.

His face went bright red, and Leah and Fen snickered. "Mom!" he shouted out mortified.

"Yea, we got ourselves a real animal don't we?" Fen teased.

Leah giggled before she scratched at his chest roughly. "Not as much of an animal as you are my husband" she whispered into his ears as she petted him.

Fen looked at Sue amused. "Don't worry, I will protect the tribe, but can you blame me for being a protective over my litter, can you?"

"I know you Fen...You aren't fooling me you sly coyote" Sue said as she snickered to herself. "Your pups are a part of our tribe, so you're protecting them anyway when you're protecting the tribe"

"Darn, she got me there. Looks like I have no choice" He said with a cheeky grin before he looked at his wife rolling her eyes at him.

Tabitha came out onto the deck to join them, and she patted Helga's back. "They are so cute! Can I take one home with me?" she said.

Everyone laughed but Seth who though she was being serious. "What!? I'm too young to be a father!"

Several more months passed. Fen led a team with Leah, Seth, Josh, and Paul for some reason, which they patrolled the South all the way down to Queets. The treaty line was east along Clearwater Road and not US 101 which ran along the ocean shores. Nothing of interest happened, so they fit some time in to spar, meditate, and goof off. His team were very fond with how surprisingly lax he operated. The rest of the wolves knew of this, and it annoyed Sam and Jake to no end.

When the younger shapeshifters joined their ragtag team, Leah began to develop an alpha voice, and she would be calling most of the shots. Fen took great pleasure seeing her in a position of power, and he let her order him around just for fun. She knew he and Josh were not influenced by her, but Fen would intimidate Josh to fall in line. They were a true Alpha male and Alpha female duo, and things became more organized.

Seth was second in command followed by Paul as third; however, they knew that having two werewolves in their pack complicated things. Leah's control was absolute, but Fen could override it outright with a glance that made your insides unsettled and every hair on your body stand up. Leah ultimately had final say in the matter, and she knew how to keep her husband in line.

One night there was a phone call, which Fen answered it. "Hey! Is the lady of the house around?" Ed asked.

"We don't want what you're selling!" He shouted before he slammed the phone down. He looked over his shoulder at his wife who had her arms crossed over her chest. "What!?" he raised his voice defensively.

The phone started to ring again, and she looked at him intensely. "Aren't you going to answer it?"

Fen lifted the phone off the receiver, and Ed screamed, "Don't hang up!"

Fen hung up the phone, and Leah shook her head trying to repress her amusement. She pushed him aside once the phone rang again. She answered it and sighed. "What do you want tick?"

"Is Charlie with you? Have you seen him?"

"No?"

"He's missing...Alice had a vision earlier today and in it he got kidnapped. She can't see anything past that"

"Wow, on your watch too. You must be pretty desperate to be asking us for help, ow!" Fen said before Leah punched him in the arm.

"I'm on it" Leah said before she hung up the phone.

"Is everything alright?" Sue asked.

"Charlie got kidnapped" Fen shouted abruptly.

Leah punched Fen in the arm even harder, but Sue was grateful for Fen's honesty. Leah was already calling for Jake and Sam's pack to look for clues.

"Hey, I found a guy stabbing a letter into Mom's house. I had an old wolf tell me that this would happen too" Seth told her telepathically.

"You mean Taha Aki spoke to you?"

"Yea, weird huh?"

"What did you do to the man?"

"Paul hit him in the back of the head with a shovel"

"Man that felt good" Paul added.

"The guy isn't talking, and the note just says that they have Charlie and they want Alice and Edward" Seth finished.

"Alice and Edward?" Leah mused before she looked towards Fen. "I thought Fen would have something to do with this, but I should have known it was the Cullens!" she shouted telepathically with disgust.

Fen raised an eyebrow before he looked towards his mother-in-law. "Call Tabitha, let her know we're going to be gone for a while"

"Yea, I got it taken care of. Just bring him back alive, okay?"

Fen nodded before he got into his closet to get dressed in his uniform. Leah took his hand, and they ran off to Sue's house where Leah found that Seth and Paul had duct taped their detainee to a lawn chair in a shed, and he laughed at them. "You don't scare me, Alpha Bitch! You all aren't real werewolves! I'll be dead before I start talking!" he shouted.

"Oh really? Are you saying you're afraid of real werewolves?" Leah asked.

"Tch, I'm not afraid of them! They don't exist anymore!"

"Honey? Can you come in here?"

Fen entered the shed, which the detainee looked at the marking on his shirt, and he grinned. "Do you think you can punk me? I know that your vampire friends explained to you that symbol!" he shouted as Leah instructed everyone to leave.

She closed the door, and Fen leaned in gripping the detainee's shoulder. "Hello Snowflake" he said in his beastly voice.

Snowflake's face went white, and he shivered to that voice. "Fen?" He gasped as his heart rate started to accelerate rapidly. "Hey! Wait! I'll talk! I'll talk!"

Leah stepped inside looking at her husband suspiciously. "Do you know him?"

"Yea, he's an errand boy"

"Errand boy for who?"

"I own his ass!"

Snowflake gulped. "Look man, I'm sorry! I didn't know that Charlie had something to do with you! I thought you got killed by the Volturi! You never came back! Hey! I didn't know she was your wife either! Are we cool?" he shouted beginning to regret his big talk.

"So who's got him?"

"Fang's got him locked up in the meat grinder"

"Tch, amateur! I own the Cullens already! Killing the big three Volturi guards gives you credentials as the bigger bad. Kidnapping a man is just going to piss 'em off, not intimidate them, and you know what?" Fen said before he head butted him. "It's pissed me off too. You better pick a side you little shit because I'm very much alive!" He raised his voice.

"Fen! What the hell where you up to before you came here!?" Leah raised her voice.

Seth and Paul were alarmed with this revelation, but Snowflake kept talking. "Fen's an enforcer for the Skookum Collective. They are like the Supernatural Mafia. Fen's the scariest motherfuckers in the whole Sound. Boss pays him well...I'll shut up now" he said until Fen tightened his grip.

Leah placed a hand on her hip and frowned. "Fen? What is the meat grinder? They aren't going to turn Charlie into hamburger meat are they?"

"No, they don't make hamburgers on Saturdays. They make Sloppy Joes"

"With Extra Joe?"

"Hey, it's going to be Sloppy Charlie if we don't get a move on" Fen said walking out.

Leah ran out to shove him into the house. "Is there anything else you've been lying to me about!?"

"I haven't lied to you since we met. I didn't tell you about this shit because I knew you've freak out on me. I thought sprinkling in a few crumbs about my past here or there would clue you in. It not like I agree with it. It was the only way for me to survive. Why do you think I stayed here?" he told her while looking into her eyes sternly.

She knew he spoke the truth, and she reached up to touch his face before she pulled him in for a kiss. She rested her head onto his chest and pounded her fist into the side of the house. "Damn it Fen! We got no time for this!"

He chuckled to himself evilly placing his hands on her hips. "Let's go kick some ass"

"Yea" She said before she started kissing him again. They were rudely interrupted by Seth honking his horn, and they separated their lip lock to see Seth in his car with Paul riding in the front. Fen and Leah got into the back seat, and Fen wrapped an arm around her. "I'm going to make out with your sister now"

"Can you at least tell me where I'm going first?"

"The Meat Grinder is in Auburn...I can take over when you get gas, Alright?"

"Okay, but why are you two doing this? Isn't she pissed off at you?"

"Shut up Seth!" Leah shouted.

"Shutting up" Seth said meekly.

After Leah won the tongue wrestling contest, she wrapped her arms around his trunk and he rubbed her back cuddling for the rest of the trip. "I hope our pups are doing okay"

"I trust that your mother and Tabitha have things handled."

"I'm a mama wolf...I can't stay away from my pups for very long" She said before she started rubbing her face into his chest. "I'm glad you chose to stay in La Push with me"

"I know where I must be. I have no regrets allowing you to domesticate me"

"Wolves are impossible to domesticate...You're wild instincts have been spot on with providing what our family needs"

Seth pulled into a gas station in Port Angeles and Fen got out along with Leah on the opposite side. She opened the front passenger door and shout, "Out!" Paul looked up at her confused before she gave him a look. "You know I want to be beside my husband, don't make me ask you again!" she shouted.

Paul sighed heavily and got out. Fen leaned against the roof of the car looking at him amused. "You ready to kick some ass?" Paul glanced at him and smirked. "That's a good boy. Just remember I'm in charge of this operation this time. This is my element, got it?" He said before he looked towards Seth shifting the tone in his voice to something more threatening. "Got it?" Seth gulped and nodded as Fen got into the driver's seat.

Once Seth got back in after taking care of the gas pump, Fen drove off, and Seth held onto the door instinctively knowing the type of driver Fen was. After a while, he relaxed his grip remembering Leah was there with them. When they started crossing over the Hood Canal Bridge into Kitsap Peninsula, Leah broke the long silence. "Why do they want Alice and Edward for!?"

"I don't know, I haven't been in contact with 'em for over a year, but I'm not the one having a liar revealed moment here. Don't you find it strange that Josh hasn't been around here for a while?"

"What!? Why would he betray us!?"

"I would wait until we find more evidence, but clearly someone has something on him. Kidnapping is pretty much Fang's M.O. and I wouldn't be surprised Josh has a family being held as liability. If that's the case, Josh wouldn't be doing it under free will, would he? Fang's probably trying to impress the boss to give him a bigger role. Boss already knows of the Volturi, and he was tickled pink when I said I was going west to take 'em out. If he knows about them, then chances are he knows about the Cullens"

"Why didn't you know about them?" Paul asked.

"Because I didn't care, Paul! Come on man! Vampires who don't drink human blood don't make me lose sleep at night. Besides, I operated the whole Sound"

"So why do you have a human working for you?"

"It's easy finding humans in the wrong crowd. I just save them, and they swear their allegiance to me. I can't bite them, but with my reputation, no one in the Supernatural community would dear attack my errand boys. As for their bad connections in the human world...meh, like I said, replacements aren't that hard to find. Snowflake is the smartest and survived the longest under my feet. I guess he panicked when I didn't return, and he's hasn't been particularly modest around the Supernatural Community. I don't blame him for crawling to Fang"

"Who's Fang?" Seth asked.

"He's some U dub student. I trained him how to control his werewolf powers, but he isn't that...adept...with anything actually. He's got that insecure personality that compels him to always get approval. He's kind of like Josh in a way, and you can make a bet that's how Josh found out about me"

"Who is your boss?" Leah asked.

"You are..." Fen said with a smile. Leah smacked him in the arm trying to get him to be serious though she liked the compliment. He sighed heavily before he looked back at her amused. "His name is Yevgeny...Old Russian dude. He's owns the company, Human Food Incorporated. He's got his inspiration from Soylent Green"

"Soylent Green?" Seth muttered.

Leah's skin crawled, and she scratched her arm uncomfortably. "Do, the people know they're being fed people?" she asked.

"Not all of them, but Snowflake knows. He knows that if he's under us, he's exempt from being processed. It's just a way to keep the supernatural from devouring everyone in the big city, so they accept it"

"That's gross dude" Paul said.

"I know right? Geny knows werewolves will eat anything, so he can keep costs low by adding dead people. My father and I personally have tasted great food thanks to my mom, so we don't touch the stuff"

"Why haven't the Volturi stopped them?"

"Mutually assured destruction. There's a bit of a Cold War going on between the Skookum and the Volturi. Although, they know the Volturi are much weak now. I'm guessing that they figured out Alice and Ed are on top in the recruiting, class so Geny is testing the waters" He said before he looked towards Leah. "But I guess you could say he didn't expect to find the Clearwaters would sink his ship!"

Leah shook her head and Seth laughed. "Yup, that's us! The strongest pack in the tribe!"

Soon they parked outside a warehouse in Kent, and they all got out. Fen looked back at them and pointed at Paul. "You stay ready for our get away" He looked at Leah and smiled. "I got this, trust me"

He beckoned for Leah and Seth to follow him, and he got up to the door pressing buttons. Leah crossed her arms over her chest and taped her shoulder nervously. There was a loud beep and a click, but Fen was puzzled. "Wow...Star 69 really does work" he muttered before he opened the door.

They stepped into the breakroom where Andrew, a tall older gentleman, was at the table sipping a cup of coffee. Kelly, A shorter elderly man with glasses, looked up and was surprised. "Fen?"

Fen walked passed them and consulted the whiteboard. "Well look who crawled back out of the grave!" Andrew said like they were old pals.

"Shut up!" He said before he leaned up against the counter before Andrew tittered to himself. "You got a pen and paper I could use?"

"Just go out to the floor and take them from the manager's desk"

"Okay, thanks!" Fen said before he motioned for Seth and Leah to follow him. Andrew and Kelly went back to talking while Seth and Leah followed him through the building. It reek of blood, gore, and a constant whirring of machinery and crunching of bone. They were confused as to why he knew his way around the place. He entered the manager's office taking a set of keys and a marker before he pulled a sheet of paper from the printer tray.

They left going down another passage resisting looking out the window at the gruesome operation. He unlocked a door to unveil Charlie in a dark closet bound and gagged. He looked up at them confused when ripped off the duct tape from his face. Tears came into his eyes as he felt the hairs from his mustache being ripped away with it. "They injected me with some sort of drug...It hurts to move" he warned them.

"Let's go!" Fen said impatiently as he cut off the zip ties.

Leah grabbed Charlie, and Seth helped her drag him out. When they got back into the breakroom, the two men looked at them strangely. "Did they take another of your errand boys again?" Andrew asked.

"No, they took my father-in-law this time" Fen said.

"Oh, so that's what you've been up to. Good for you" Andrew said before he looked towards Leah. "And she's your wife?"

"Yup, she's the one"

"I wish you the best you rapscallion"

Fen stopped to write a message in bold letters, "Change your fucking Passcode! P.S. Stop stealing my food! Love, Bigby" before he taped it onto the fridge.

Andrew laughed. "I know right? I've been telling them to change it for years" he said before he waved them off.

Fen left with them before Leah shoved Charlie into the back seat. Paul drove off once everyone got in, and Leah looked towards her husband annoyed. "The fuck just happened? Did they just let you get away with that!?"

"They know their place" He said before he pulled out his cellphone. "Speaking of places..." he said before he called for his mother. When she answered, he cleared his throat. "Hey, mom...can we crash in your place for the night?"

"Fen...It's freaking 2 in the morning. What are you doing away from your family?"

"Well, Fang had them kidnap Charlie"

"Fang did what!!?"

"Mom, I got him back, but I thought he knew Charlie was my father-in-law"

"Well he would have if he showed up to your wedding! How's your Leah by the way? I hope you're treating her right"

"He is, though he didn't tell me Fang was his brother" Leah spoke into the phone.

"You know how brothers act...especially when one doesn't show up to your wedding"

"I'm glad you and your husband came. You show see how big your grandchildren have gotten"

"We'll come over once Rolf gets our car fixed"

"Okay, let me know"

Fen chuckled to himself. "We have Seth and Paul with us also"

"Oh I love Seth, he's really delightful to have around...though I don't know about Paul" She muttered before she sighed. "Alright, You can sleep here for the night, but I'm going to have a little talk with your brother" she said before she hung up the phone.

Paul drove out into the farmlands, and with Fen's instructions, they arrived at their destination. A silver haired woman with a youthful face came out. She smiled at Fen and gave him a big hug. "Fen, I'm so glad to see you" she said before she looked at Leah and smiled. "Leah, you look fantastic!"

Paul stood back knowing this woman had freaky powers, but Seth did not care. He approached her with an infectious smile and bowed before her. "Greetings your majesty"

Fen's mother laughed at him before she looked to Charlie in the back seat of the car not fairing too well. She came over and checked his temperature, and she looked back at them. "He didn't get bit, did he? He's burning up"

Charlie's eyes widened, and he shook his head. "No ma'am, they gave me an injection and..."

"Fen, I remember what happened when you got bit. This is the same thing that happened" She spoke firmly as she looked back at him.

"Yea, but why would they?" Fen muttered before he smirked evilly. "I see...well the jokes on them. I already made the Cullens turn on the Volturi a year ago"

There was a swirling wind around Fen's mother, and she looked at him coldly. "Fen, I thought you were going to be more legit?"

"Oh, I am...I'm just killing two birds with one stone...that's all"

The wind waned, and she looked at him sternly. "You're still going to have to train him"

"Why do I have to!? Fang turned him!"

"He's your father-in-law!"

"So you're not going to punish Fang at all?"

"Trust me! I'm literally going to give Fang nightmares!"

"I'm turning into a werewolf...great...what next?" Charlie muttered.

Fen leaned up against the car and snickered. "Come on! Life as a werewolf ain't that bad. I'm pretty sure Sue might like something warm and fuzzy to keep her feet from getting cold"

"You know...that's actually a big plus also...you'll be able to perform way better now. You won't need to drag Seth and Fen around on your patrols. My husband is a werewolf and life is great with him. I bet Leah can agree to that" Fen's mother said.

Seth whimpered. "I don't want to think about that stuff"

"Mom knows a lot about wolves, and I think your more better off with this. I wonder how Bella will react though?" Leah said.

"Blame me then attack me probably" Fen said before he grinned evilly.

"Shea, I know right?" Paul said.

"Well time to call your mother" Fen said as he pulled out his phone.

"Fen! You better know what you're doing" Leah warned him.

Fen handed Charlie the phone, and he froze up. "Let her know you're fine!"

"But I'm not fine! I'm a werewolf now!" Charlie shouted, which Sue heard the whole thing.

"Hello?" She asked lowly.

"Hey Sue...I'm safe"

"Did you get bit?"

Charlie froze up before he gulped. "Uh no...but...funny thing is...apparently you don't need to get bit to become a werewolf"

Sue gave out a long sigh followed by a long pause. "I'm guessing that you're a werewolf now?" she asked with exhaustion. Charlie did not respond feeling responsible for his situation. "Well, if Fen could teach Josh to control himself, then he probably can with you"

Fen's mother grabbed the phone from Charlie. "Hey Sue! I'm sorry about all of this. You see, Fanngeir, Fen's younger brother, is a part of a supernatural crime syndicate, and he did not know he ordered Fen's father-in-law to be kidnapped. I've already made clear to him that he's going to get a lot of hell from his sisters and I. I'm really glad Fen left them...he's got way too much potential to be some Russian halfwit's underling"

"He's been a really big help here. With all the new shapeshifters, I didn't think we could help all of them adjust. Your son is really clever I'd have to say"

"I'm glad that he's contributing to some good. Leah's changed him and for the better"

"Strange, Leah's changed for the better also. She's in much more control, and now she's an Alpha. I would suspect this is the nature of imprinting and making a wolf stronger, but I guess since your son is a wolf also, that it must have had the same effect"

"Well, I'm not complaining. He's really been less uptight and..."

"Callous?"

"Yea? How'd you know?"

"Leah was the same..."

"Ahem, what about Charlie?" Fen muttered in protest.

"Charlie's fine...didn't you say that already?" His mother asked.

Leah grabbed his arm and pulled him inside the house. "Come" she spoke with authority as she wondered the house following a familiar scent. She found his bedroom, where she noticed his bed was already made with fresh sheets as if prepared for their arrival. His bed was king sized, which it was safe to assume was to accommodate his massive size during his time of the month.

She did not bother to turn on the lights as she quietly shut the door, and she wrapped her arms around his chest pulling him down with her onto the bed. He chuckled to himself finding her already on top of him tugged at his shirt wanting him remove the protective wrapping that sealed her stress reliever. He chuckled to himself sitting up only to have her remove his clothes for him.

"Do you need an itch scratched?"

She leaned in to smooch him and smirked. "You know what I want...gimmie it!" she demanded into his ear before she bit into it roughly.

The next morning, Seth woke up and rolled out of the bed. He did not sleep well thanks in part to being far away from his Tabby and also in part to the horrific sounds and smells that he encountered over at the meat grinder. None of the wolves particularly slept well, with exception to Fen who was desensitized to it. Seth opened the door to Fen's room, and he could smell love in the air.

Leah looked at him annoyed, but she could not move with Fen holding her down from behind. Luckily, his thick meaty arm was enough to conceal most of her breasts from view, but she was amazed how soundly he slept.

"Leah? Are you worried that the werewolves are going to be a bigger problem than the vampires?"

"Seth, don't get scared from what you see with Fen. You saw Josh, and he's not really that spectacular. Fen's a bigger problem than any of them, and we got him handled...why are you even in here? Couldn't you just ask me through our link?"

"I thought you closed me out completely...you do that every time you have sex and I never hear from you until later"

Leah scowled at him. "What if we were having sex when you opened the door?"

"I would have heard you...besides, I wanted to ask Fen somethings directly" He knew that they had just finished burning morning wood, and neither of them would be putting up much of a fight to his interrogation.

"Ask what?" Fen muttered in his sleep.

"Well, what are a werewolf's weaknesses?"

"Heh, Your sister is my weakness" Leah rolled her eyes, and Fen cleared his throat. "Seth? Have you ever seen, The Room?"

"No? Why?"

"You'd should watch it, you're pulling a Danny right now" He said before Leah elbowed him in the ribcage. He snickered to himself, and he sat up with Leah covering up with the blanket. "We can talk on the car ride back. Charlie's not going to transform anytime soon"

"But what if any werewolf goons show up?"

Fen started laughing hysterically and whipped a nonexistent tear from his eye. "Show up here? My mom would end them! My dad is a bigger beast than I am!"

Seth flinched to that remembering the first time he saw Fen in his complete werewolf form and how it seemed to dwarf their wolf forms by at least double. "Bigger? How much bigger can a werewolf get?"

"Well if they gotta musclegut, they get push past 3500 pounds"

"3500!?"

"His dad's pretty big. Really strong too" Leah added.

Seth whimpered trying to imagine Fen getting bigger than he already was. "How can you even manage to not crush anything in the house? Jez, I thought I had problems"

"I sleep on the floor...Leah uses me as one of those full body pillows you see the otaku buying" Fen said before he got out of bed.

Seth's eyes wondered elsewhere trying to avoid looking at Fen's naked glory. "Do all werewolves get as big as you?"

Fen shrugged before he put his clothes on. "Dad just said that my size runs in the family" he muttered before Leah snickered to herself blushing brightly. Fen glanced over at her and smirked knowing that he made Seth uncomfortable, and maybe it would teach him a lesson not to walk in on them, so he whispered into his ear. "And you know why everyone's afraid of me?"

Seth stiffened and gulped as Fen put a hand on his shoulder. "I know how to use my size when it comes to punishments. I love to burst through tiny doors like the Kool aid man"

"I can just wait..." Seth said awkwardly before Paul burst out with laughter in the living room. Leah could not contain herself and shook her head at him while Seth walked off rigid and robotically.

"You're terrible!" She said as Fen closed the door.

"I mean it too. You should be grateful that I'm gentle and considerate with you"

She grabbed a pillow and hurled it at him. "Gentle and considerate my ass!"

"Where there's a thought"

"Fen, don't make me hurt you!" She said jokingly.

"Yeah? You're going to have to get up and walk to get to me"

She glared at him with a devious smirk as she leaped out of bed and grabbed him by the neck roughly before she pulled him in for a smooch. "Why do you have to be so evil?"

"I mean it...you're my only weakness" he muttered returning her smooch.

"Yea, I literally have you by the balls hun!" She muttered confidently before she grabbed him down below giving him a tight firm grip to make him double over in pain. "I know you like it"

"I'm a sick puppy aren't I?"

"Yes you are, now let's take a shower, my husband"
