Again By Lomundi Chapter 1 - Poor Souls Wandering Clisp was moving his body to some dirty song the buyer had picked out just a few moments ago. He carefully moved his ass over the buyer's leg and, with experience, danced to the music scantly as the buyer enjoyed, most noticeably. He moved his hand down to the buyer's pants and felt the rising bulge in his pants. The buyer's cock quickly appeared out of his pants after a hasty unzipping. Clisp was violently strangled to the ground, tail in the air, when the door was broken down. "NYPD!" Gian yelled at the tops of his lungs. He pointed the loaded gun at the hooker and the buyer. The buyer quickly raised his hands in the air and, muttering obscenities under his breath, Clisp followed suit. "Stay where you are, you have the right to remain silent, anything..." Clisp knew where this was going. All he had to do was keep his mouth shut and he would be out in a couple of days. The buyer would be angry with Reg for a while, but Reg wouldn't let the buyer touch him. The yelling woke Lomundi. He looked out the window shades for some kind of idea of what was happening. Police raid came to his head instantly. It happens from time to time in the apartments, but never has it happened next door to him. He looked at the clock. 3:30! Oh well, his job started in a few hours anyways, might as well start his day a little early. He walked into the bathroom and popped a couple of NoZ's, and then he went to the fridge and washed it down with some kind of cherry cola. He went strait to the shower and turned the water on. "So good when nobody else is using it." He thought to himself. His cock sprang, in fact, at just how much warmer the water was than usual. He couldn't help but give a few tugs at it, but he decided not to jack off. It's not like he was running short on time or anything, but after loosing Sam in the car accident last month, he felt guilty about anything remotely vulgar. Even jacking off was something he considered wrong now. He didn't know when he would get a new boyfriend, or even if he would get a new boyfriend. "Lomundi, you have to get a new boyfriend, you can't go on in this world alone." His inner-monologue progressed. But that was exactly what he was doing. He sighed and stepped out of the shower clean. He went over to dry off his fur, and then wiped the steam away from the mirror. He wasn't that bad looking of a thing. A lion, about 6 feet tall with a sort of toned build. He had been asked out after the accident, but he denied the requests. Damn, couldn't ever stop thinking about Sam. He padded over to the guitar sitting in the corner of his room, strings almost yearning to be plucked and strummed. Why did you go? What did I do wrong, It's been awhile, So I wrote this song. I want to know, What I did to make you go, I want to know, Why I'm left alone. Why you're gone and away, Lost, almost forgot, But painful memories, Have shown me what I'm not. I'm not a good man, I'm not a saint, I can't say I'm right, I can't say I'll faint. If I see you, If I see you, Again. It was a song Lomundi had written a long time ago, even before Sam had died, but when he did, this song became the one Lomundi didn't ever stop playing. Sighing again, he started to play little riffs and tunes from forgotten days and new experiences, every string sounded the way it should've and every note was played right on tune. This was the only thing Lomundi had that was stable, and it wouldn't be forgotten. Chapter 2 - Blush Gian yawned. "Damn, I have got to get better hours." He had been up since 5:00 last evening and he was still going to have to pull shift until 12:00 today. "Okay, what's the lineup for today?" "We got a hooker, you busted that one, a couple of dealers, and a murder suspect." Said the younger officer. "You get all the stuff for the dealers and I'll handle the hooker and the murderer. Who was murdered?" "Well, after you left the scene, some pimp came around looking for the hooker you brought in. He shot this one guy coming out of his apartment, continued to run when the cops heard the shot and shot a woman coming out of her apartment." "Both dead?" "Just the woman, the man is in the hospital. The murderer got away and the cops only saw his back." "That means I have to question the victim. What's his name?" "Lomundi Yomahn Sunclaw, here's the record from the hospital." "5'11", Lion, shot to stomach. This is great, I hope he can talk." "I'll go take care of the dealers." "Ditto on the hooker and the pimp." Gian walked by cell holding the hooker and noticed something out of the corner of his eye. He turned around and was stunned to see the hooker jacking off while shoving three fingers out and in his tailhole. The smell was the next thing he noticed, it hit him like a brick. Being a wolf, the cat's scent was surprisingly stronger than what he had smelt before. "What the fuck are you doing?" "What does it look like?" The cat took out his fingers and bent over, his ass facing Gian. "What any? I got plenty!" "No thank you, you should probably stop doing that now." "Don't swing that way, eh?" "I'm a cop, I try to stick to the law." "Does that mean you do swing that way?" "Not that it matters to you, but yes, I do. Now put your clothes back on and sit down." "Okay officer." The cat quickly licked a finger, shoved four up his ass, and exploded all over the floor. Gian sighed and moved on, noticing he had a boner. He saw the pimp in the last cell. "Looks like you aren't having that great of a day." The pimp didn't speak to him. "We have you here on drug charges and it appears you murdered somebody. We don't actually know if you did murder them, but it seems to be so from the evidence. Anything you want to say?' The pimp was still quiet. "Okay...Reggie. I guess that'll be it then. I have to go talk to the guy you shot up now." Gian sighed again. This wasn't his day, or was it morning? He got into his car and drove to the hospital, it was only 10 miles away, so it wasn't a big deal. He checked the registry and asked the receptionist about visiting the patient in room C112. "Sure, but you have to get the patient's permission first. What's your name?" "Tell him I'm a police officer. I need some information about today's events." "I will." She spoke into the COM system. She seemed to be talking to nurses, but eventually she looked up and said, "Go right on up sir." Gian walked up the stairs to the C level, and then down the hallway to room 112. He saw the lion sitting up in the bed; at least he was doing well. "Oh, you must be the police officer." "Yeah, how are you doing?" "Fine, I wish I could do something though." "What did you have in mind?" "Huh? What do you mean by that?" "Oh, I'm...sorry. There was something going on earlier today that...got me messed up a bit." Gian could still remember the strong cat scent, it was so potent! "Don't you want to ask me any questions?" "Yeah, um...did you see the offender in question?" "You mean that guy who shot me?" "Yeah." "That's Reggie. He comes to the apartment next to mine from time to time to chat with Clisp. I didn't know Clisp was doing anything wrong." "Yep, turns out he's a hooker." "That would explain his behavior. Why did Reggie shoot me?" "He's the pimp." "Oh, I see. That kind of hooker." Gian blushed a bit. "Yeah, I can see how that would be a little shocking. Did you notice anything else?" "Yeah, he shot me." "Heh, good to know." "You okay." "Yeah, just a little tired. Um...so I guess I'll give you my number and I can have you call me if anything else comes up." "Sure." Gian thought to himself in his head, "Why am I giving him my number? I have an office number." Lomundi thought to himself in his head, "He's cute when he blushes. Oh, damn, I can't think like that. Sam..." "There you go." "Thanks, I'll call you if anything comes up." "When will you be up and around?" "Hopefully soon, I need to make money you know." "Anything you would like to say to family members." "I don't really have any family members, other than my dad, but I think you can forget about him." "Any girls you might want to tell something to?" It was Lomundi's turn to blush, "I don't think so." Gian tilted his head a bit. "I'm, uh, not really..." "Into girls." Gian finished for him. "How did you know?" "I've heard it all before." Chapter 3 - Earlier in Life Gian was walking into the bathroom of the school. 7th Grade, plenty of bad memories. Another boy walked into the bathroom. Gian looked over instinctively, then looked back. The boy walked to the urinal next to him. Gian found himself instantly and overly aroused. The boy looked down and pointed. The rest of the day was a blur to Gian. The next day, Gian woke up to find that he was covered in wet, sticky stuff. What had he dreamed about? It was a guy, the guy was naked. That was confusing. He asked his father about it at breakfast, and his father seemed hesitant to answer and scooted him out of the house. That day at school people were passing around the rumor that Gian was "gay?" Gian asked his father what gay meant. His father asked why Gian would ask a question like that. Gian said it was because people were saying he was. His father, again, seemed slow to his word and sent Gian to bed. Gian dreamed of two guys that night. They were hugging, and kissing. It seemed strange to Gian at the time, but he was aroused throughout the entire thing. When he woke up, again, he was covered in wet, sticky stuff. Yet again, he asked his father about and his father screamed at the top of his lungs and shoved Gian out of the house. The next week was terrible. Kids telling Gian he was some kind of freak, his father trying not to talk to him. A year later when he figured out what gay meant he told his father he was gay. Skip a few nasty parts, Gian ended up being disowned by pretty much every family member since then. Gian went to the military, hiding his gayness from everybody, and eventually landed a job on the police force somehow. The rest is history. Gian regretted everything he did like that. He has only had two loves. The first one had to move, and the second one turned out to be an angry spouse who wanted to cheat on his wife. Gian was sad for a long time, but after the long depression, he was still angry with his father. Everybody else in his family was either dead or the lived too far away to make a difference. Why did I go? What did I do wrong, It's been awhile, So I wrote this song. I want to know, Why did I have to go? I want to know, Why I'm left alone. Why I'm gone and away, Lost, almost forgot, But painful memories, Have shown me what you're not. You're not a good man, You're not a saint, You can't say you're right, You can't say you'll faint. If you can't see me, If I won't see you, Again. Chapter 4 - Chains of the Soul "The court hereby sentences Reggie Hawkwell to 20 years for murder of Richi Nestla and attempted murder of Lomundi Sunclaw. Court is adjourned." The hammer was even more painful than everything that had been done before now. Reggie hadn't been the best man, he knew, but he was better than some. He ran a hooker service and killed a few people, but he did it to raise his family. Now where would his son and daughter be? On the streets, like his whores? This wasn't happening, this couldn't be happening. He had so much ahead of him, and now, twenty years away from everything. When he came back, what would he do? How would he fit in? Could he raise another hooker business? No, he was unreliable. What other soul would take him in? Nobody, and that was the hard truth. He would rather stay in jail now; he would rather rot away in some jail cell than go back to humanity a scarred man. He couldn't ever go back, and he knew it. The cell door opened in front of him, and he passed through the opening. The door shut behind him, and he, for the first time in his life, began to cry. Lomundi was in the courtroom with Gian. "Thanks for the help in court Gian, I should see you again sometime." Gain gulped. "Sure, you have my number, right?" "Sure do, I'll call you. You know where my apartment is now, right?" "Right next to the hooker's." "How is he doing, by the way?" "Ever since he was released he was trying to find Reggie. With some luck, and good sources I provided, I'll add, he landed a job at the local newspaper." "What does he do?" "He runs stock paper through the machines that print the words and stuff." "How did you give good sources?" "I'm an editor there." "Oh, that would explain it." "You should read the column, all about songwriting and current music." "I'll be sure to check that out sometime." "See you later, I have to go back to work." "Yeah, I'll see you later." They both sort of shrugged and slowly moved away from one another. Lomundi was driving home and was thinking of Sam. "I have to let go, Sam wouldn't want this, Sam would hate to see me like this. I can be with someone else, I don't have to mourn him anymore, and he probably is wishing me to do something else as I think. I don't know, it's too soon, I lost my only lover, and now I want to be with Gian. I can't, but I want, I need someone." Once he got home he unlocked the door, turned the knob, went inside, and picked up his guitar. Where can I go? What can I do right, It's been awhile, Since I wrote that night. I want to know, Where do I have to go? I want to know, Where I won't be alone. I'm gone and away, Lost, almost forgot, Painful memories, Have shown me what I'm not. I'm not a bad man, I'm not that vain, I can't say I'm wrong, I can't say I'll pain. If you let me, Be with someone, Again. Lomundi picked up the phone and started to dial a number. Chapter 5 - Finale "Hi Gian, there's a building party going on around 7:00 tonight, think you can come?" "Um, sure, I guess so." Lomundi almost screamed in joy. "Make sure to bring a friend, if you can find one." "Okay Lomundi, how's Clisp doing?" "Just fine, he's making a living on what he has now." "It's good he doesn't have to do all those wrong things to make it." Lomundi clenched up a bit. Was Gian not gay? "What do you mean wrong?" "I mean like let somebody buy your sex from you wrong. What do you think I meant?" Lomundi sighed heavy with relief. "I thought you hated, I mean, never mind." "Lomundi, I am gay if that's what you were worrying about." Lomundi, again, almost jumped to the ceiling that moment. "Why do you think I invited you." Lomundi said in his sexiest voice. Gian blushed over the other line. "Well, Lomundi, I'll see you there." Gian hung up, almost too embarrassed to go, but he wanted to go bad enough. When Gian arrived at the party, Clisp and Lomundi stood out of the crowd. Mainly because Lomundi was playing guitar and singing, and Clisp was dancing. Lomundi was playing an upbeat song, which was making everybody dance, but I'll tell you, nobody dances like Clisp. After Lomundi finished the song, he and Clisp rushed over to greet Gian. Lomundi asked Gian to dance to the song that was playing, upbeat as well. Gian was a little embarrassed, but didn't pass up his chance. Quickly moving their limbs, a good distance away from each other, they started dancing the night away. When the slow songs played, they made their way over to bar. They didn't drink anything, but they did have some pretty good conversations. "This is the last song of the night folks!" A slow, beautiful song started playing. "I guess that means we better go." Said Lomundi, standing up. "Sure thing." Said Gian, also rising from his chair. They had to walk through the crowd to get to the exit, but Clisp was standing somewhere near the center of it. When Lomundi and Gian came through, Clisp pushed Gian into Lomundi, and they couldn't help but blush. "C'mon, you two have been wanting to dance all night." Both Gian and Lomundi smirked at each other, and the room became a dazzling array of lights and colors. All of the swirling shapes and faces along with the beautiful music and the clearly perceptive face of Gian made Lomundi happy at last. The face of Lomundi, staring happily back at Gian, made Gian even happier than he was. The song ended, the swirls died down, and right before Lomundi and Gian let go of each other, Lomundi stood up a bit to kiss Gian They looked like they were practically glued together. Lomundi felt a familiar rush of passion flow throughout his body, and Gian felt a warm sensation all over. They parted the kiss and looked around. There were a few staring people, but it was nothing to worry about. They loved each other now, and they wouldn't have it any other way. When they got back to Lomundi's apartment they went at it again. They were another swirl of love and passion, and right now, they were having the best time of their lives. Lomundi almost deliberately tripped over the couch and landed softly on it still holding Gian. They stayed, just like that, for a couple hours. Clisp was in the next apartment smiling and sleeping happily. Chapter 6 - Almost gone Reggie got let out of prison on schedule. He was surprised to find somebody had left mail for him. "Dear Reggie, If you want, I will be staying in the same apartment I've always been for 20 years now. I will be throwing a party for you, and I want you to come. I also have a job position open. It's not much, in fact, it's what I had when you got sent to jail, but it's enough to get by here. I am manager of all of the printing equipment at the local newspaper now, and I need a man to feed paper into the printers down here. You shouldn't worry about anything now. I also got in contact with your wife and kid. Your wife found that job she was looking for and the kid is now out of college and has a great job. I know it sounds a little weird with all that would be going on in your head now, but I think you shouldn't have to worry about much any more. Your little whore :), Clisp" Reggie looked wide-eyed at the letter and was almost instantly relieved. He called Clisp on the prison phone and asked him for a drive home. He had been worried about his wife and kid, that was all fine now. He was worried about his future job, but that seemed to be taken care of. He realized after the 3rd month in jail that he was worried about Clisp, but he seemed to be doing better than anybody would have suspected. "Hey Reggie, jump in." Reggie just nodded and hopped into the car. They drove off for the apartments. When they arrived, Lomundi and Gian were standing outside talking to each other, Reggie didn't remember Lomundi, but he sure remembered Gian. He ran out of the car up to Gian's face and started yelling at him. "You're the reason I didn't have a life for 20 years you bastard." "You're the reason Lomundi has a bullet in his stomach." "Who the fuck is Lomundi?" "Fuck that, you also killed an old lady!" "She was in the way!" "She was a fucking old lady you bastard!" "I'm sorry about the fucking old lady, okay! I did my fucking time, get the fuck off my back!" "I'm surprised they let a fuck like you out!" Reggie was at his wits end, but he wasn't about to beat the shit out of a police officer. "I'm not fucking living here Clisp, you can forget about the fucking job!" "No, Reggie! Stay!" Clisp shouted. "It's not fucking worth it anymore!" Reggie yelled back. "You fucking deserve it, asshole!" Gian slandered at Reggie. "Stop!" Lomundi exclaimed louder than anyone. They all stopped talking and looked at Lomundi. "You," pointing to Gian "don't realize that Reggie has obviously made a big fucking mistake, and you," pointing at Reggie, "don't realize your probably passing up a big chance, so I want everybody to stop blaming each other for everything! Everything was going along so fine until you two started fucking shit up! Just stop it!" Gian and Reggie looked at each other bitterly, and then changed face a bit. The wolf was quite angry, and the fox was more confused than the neighbors. They stared at each other for the longest time, until Reggie finally broke down. "I did it, didn't I, I fucking killed her." "No, stop that, you did it when you didn't have a decision." "I did too have a fucking decision, get caught and arrested for selling Clisp here, or shooting an old lady and getting arrested for murder." "You where blinded by the moment, I'm, sorry." "I'm the one that should be sorry, for killing the old lady, and for shooting that other guy." "Lomundi?" "Where is that guy now?" "I'm right here." Said an older-looking, but still young sounding lion. "I'm, I'm sorry Lomundi." "It's okay, it was a long time ago." "You know a grudge like this can never die." "I know, I know. You have obviously changed a lot since then." "Something like murder can never be forgiven." "But at least you know you were wrong, isn't that good enough. You aren't innocent, but you did serve your penalty, so aren't you all right now." "I don't know, I think I'm always going to be like this. I think I'm..." "Always going to think about how wrong you were?" Lomundi finished for him. "Yeah, how did you know?" Lomundi smirked wide. "I've heard it all before." Things had turned out for the best; it was killing Reggie, because it wasn't what he deserved. He took it though, and made the best of what he was presented with. He also tried his best to help other people, just like Clisp had helped him. He tried to pick up things with his wife, but she divorced him before too long. He tried to find his kid and talk to him, but that same kid hated his father for being a murder and a pimp. The only people left was the man he shot, the man who brought him to court, and Clisp. Clisp loved Reggie more than he knew, and before long, Clisp and Reggie were a regular couple. They stayed together until the day they both died, and shortly after that Lomundi died. Gian, the last of everybody to be left alive, finally forgave his father for disowning him, and welcomed anything he could find out about his father back into his mind. He died shortly after finding a letter from his father in a cabinet in his old home. "Dear son, I am sorry to have to say to you that you will probably never find this letter, but in case you do, I want to tell you I'm sorry. I always loved you, and I know you always loved me until that one day. I want to say that you didn't do anything wrong. I am going to die sometime soon now, with everybody else around me dead. Be happy with whoever your with, and don't give up hope for anything you may accomplish. I'm sorry, Dad Gian jerked a tear at the letter and took it home with him. Three days later, he died in his sleep. Nobody was at his funeral, considering everybody that could've been was dead. It was okay though, because before Gian died, he was a whole man again. Where did I go? When did I go so wrong? It's been awhile, So I wrote this song. I wanted to know, When I made you go, I wanted to know, Why I'm not left alone. Why you're by yourself, Lost, and forgot, Painful memories, Still shown me what I'm not. I'm not perfect, But I'm not insane, I'm not always right, I would probably faint. If I get a chance, To play it strait, Again. * * *

While the characters in this story, including myself, won't be in another story for a while, if never, you can be sure I'll write again. I know there wasn't any serious yiffing in this one, so I'll make sure to make the next one uber-yiffy.
