-PREVIOUSLY ON DRAGON STORM-
Just then, Amy jump into the air from behind Cross Wing and tried to pounce on her, however it was no use she ducked and spun around and back kicked her toward Rio.
"Amy?! What happened? That plan should have worked." Rio said.
"I have been toying with you guys up until now in order to observe your fighting styles. Now that I know what I am up against... I would like you to know that I was put in charge of all the experimental creatures here on this island." Cross Wing said and then she whistled with her beak and not one second later hundreds of creatures popped up from below.

CHAPTER 22: Amy's Dogma and The Consequences of Betrayal!
"I know her... she can wait for hours, days, or even weeks if she has to. It doesn't matter to her. She's just watching and waiting for you to expose yourself." Kilala stated.
" Maybe so... but Lazz can't hold out that long...." Rio said.
"Rio! Can you see Cross Wing from where you are?" Quicksilver asked.
"There's nowhere to hide between here and the tower...she must be on the second floor of the tower." Rio said using Lazz's dog tag as a small mirror to see the tower from behind the wall.
"If Cross Wing is in the communications tower, she can see you perfectly! It's the classic sniper's position!! At that distance you won't be able to hit her with a standard weapon either! You'll need a sniper rifle!! Rio you have to get out of there!!!" Quicksilver said.
"Your mission CAN'T compare to a Dragon's life!! Take it easy! I'm going to save Lazz no matter what it takes!!" Rio said.
"I'm surprised you're willing to sacrifice yourself, you've got the genes of a soldier, not a savior. Also... I know Lazz would not do the same for you. He takes his missions very seriously." Kilala said.
"Look, I don't know what my genes look like and I don't care! I operate on instinct." Rio said.
" Like an animal..." Eubanks said.
"I'm GOING TO SAVE LAZZ! I don't need an excuse. I will go find a sniper rifle!" Rio said and with that ran back the way he came from and Amy followed.
"RIO! Wait! Do you even know how to work a sniper rifle? It's not easy...Rio...RIO!!" Quicksilver yelled.
"Rio....run.....You're the ....only one .....Who can save us." Lazz said.
Just then Cross Wing flew down to where Lazz was and walked up to him.
"Huh?" Lazz said.
"Looks like he ditched you... Lazz." Cross Wing said.
"..............." Lazz remained silent.
" Why do you think I work alone Lazz? You can only trust yourself!" Cross Wing said.
"On the battle field ... it makes.... No difference." Lazz said.
" I see..." Cross Wing said.
" What..... are you..... going to ........ do?" Lazz asked.
" I have to take you to Rock Lizard now so shut up!" Cross Wing said and smacked Lazz on the head with her PSG-1 sniper rifle and knocked him out.
(Griffin stronghold: During the 30 minutes Rio was searching to find a sniper rifle)
"Take him!"
" He's to heavy, you take him!"
"Relax you two, just put him right over there!"
"Okay! I've strapped him in!"
"Let me finish him off sir!"
"Don't kill him yet... I want him alive."
Lazz was light headed and hurt real bad, but he could here something. He could hear voices, the voices of the BLACKFANG members talking. Lazz was out of it, he was dazed. He could hardly even open his eyes, but he then began to open them slightly. At first, there was a bright light, then as his vision focused; he could make more of the lights out. His vision was still a little fuzzy, but it was better then nothing.
" Leave it to me." Rock Lizard stated.
"Huh?" Cross Wing said.
"I want no more accidents like that DARPA Chief." Rock Lizard said.
"Yes. I will be the one to finish him off... me alone." Cross Wing said.
"Can you hear me Lazz?" Rock Lizard asked.
" He's tougher then I thought." Cross Wing said.
" Don't you remember me Lazz? I always knew that I could never trust you. You and I; as well as the rest of BLACKFANG and even Quicksilver were all once an unstoppable team. We all went on missions and even considered each other family. Until one day Quicksilver and you planed a very strategic and tactical coup d'etat to over throw the rest of BLACKFANG and my plans of world conquest back three years ago. Shortly after that you guys went your own ways, Lazz, you went with the PMC D.E.O. and Quicksilver proceeded to run his own secret PMC. Meanwhile, Team BLACKFANG laid low until our time to make our move was right. Now that our time has come you show back up to stop me. I am so close Lazz. I expected Quicksilver to interfere just like before. I won't let you guys stop me a second time. Nuker's remains will be mine and world conquest will follow. Lazz... you are the dragon that took away what was rightfully mine. My dream, my beliefs, my goals. Me? I am the artificial lizard creature you took everything good from. So what I was created and am not real. I still have desires to, don't I? And now... after three long years and after the deaths of Thunder Pegasus and War Wolf, you and I finally meet again." Rock Lizard explained.
" Do you need his DNA too?" Cross Wing asked.
"Yes. I want a sample while he's still alive. We know he won't talk and tell us where in the D.E.O. Nuker's remains are being kept and with War Wolf dead we can't simply read his mind either. So I'll just take a sample of his DNA and see what the results will tell me. He works for the D.E.O. and he has nanomachines inside of him so he is bound to know something." Rock Lizard explained.
" Have they given in to our demands yet?" Cross Wing asked.
" Not yet." Rock Lizard said.
"They won't give in. They're all hypocrites, every one of them." Cross Wing said.
" Is that your opinion as a phoenix?" Rock Lizard asked.
" They always put politics first." Cross Wing said.
" That's right... that's why they want to avoid any leak of our new nuclear weapon." Rock Lizard stated.
"Boss, it looks like our friend is awake." Wild Horn said.
"ughn....agh." Lazz moaned.
Just then Rock Lizard got an incoming call on his cell phone...
"I guess I'm just trying to thank you?

" It's me..." Rock Lizard said.
"Nice ring tone boss!" Cross Wing said sarcastically.
"Really?! Then what!?" Rock Lizard asked.
" Unnnnnnghhhh......." Lazz moaned again.
" Those idiots! Alright Tiger Wanghu... I'll be right there." Rock Lizard said and got off the cell phone.
"Well?" Wild Horn asked.
" They're not responding to our demands. We'll launch the first one in ten hours as planed." Rock Lizard said.
"Damn those dragons!" Cross Wing said.
" Looks like you read them wrong." Wild Horn said.
"Something's funny... Normally the dragons are the first ones to the negotiating table. They must think they've got something up their sleeves..." Rock Lizard said.
"So it's come down to it has it?" Wild Horn said.
"Hm?" Cross Wing said.
"We're going to launch that nuke and ride it all the way into history." Wild Horn said.
"Hmph. I've got to go take care of some launch preparations. Your in charge here Wild Horn!" Rock Lizard said.
"What about you Cross Wing? You want to stay for the show?" Wild Horn asked.
" I'm not interested. I want to be the one to kill that red dragon Rio for what he did to us all earlier. I know where his location is so I'll be on my way. Just make sure Lazz stays in your sight." Cross Wing said.
"Be careful Cross Wing. Rio is not to be underestimated." Wild Horn said firmly.
" Yeah I know. He already killed tons of griffin soldiers as well as two of our BLACKFANG members so I will be cautious." Cross Wing said.
" Wild Horn! Don't screw up like you did with the Dragons tech president!" Rock Lizard said.
" Yes I know; it was an accident. Not to mention that I am missing an arm because of that." Wild Horn said.
"What about the other intruder boss?" Cross Wing asked.
"..........It seems he's killed 1200 of our griffin soldiers already. Who ever he is... he's some kind of assassin." Rock Lizard said.
"How could he have gotten in here?" Wild Horn asked.
"Perhaps there is a spy among us..... Listen, Thunder Pegasus and War Wolf are dead. We've also got to find out what killed our two hostages. Both the DARPA chief and the president of Dragons tech. We're short handed so make this as short of a torture as possible and return to your position Wild Horn." Rock Lizard said.
"This isn't going to be torture, this is an integration..... ok maybe torture too." Wild Horn said.
"Whatever, I'm out!" Rock Lizard said and left the room.
"Here I come Rio." Cross Wing said and followed behind Rock Lizard.
"Finally, just the two of us... how are you feeling Lazz?" Wild Horn asked.
"Not bad. I caught a nice nap on this revolving bed of yours. Too bad I was alone." Lazz said.
" Glad to hear it Lazz. Now it's time for my revenge... an arm for an arm my friend!" Wild Horn said and walked closer to Lazz and began to cut off his right arm.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"Lazz screamed at the top of his lungs.
(Meanwhile)
"Your never going to believe this May?" Necro said over his codec.
"What is it Necro?" May asked.
"There was this weird red dragon who goes by the name Rio who said he knows you and get this, he also killed War Wolf too!" Necro explained.
"What?! Rio? Oh man, I totally forgot about him. Where is he now?" May asked.
"I think he is headed toward the communications towers and I let him borrow your sniper rifle... I hope you don't mind. He said he would bring it back." Necro explained.
"Ok. I am near that location I am going to go see if I can help. Talk you later Necro." May said.
"Okay... be careful...... May." Necro said.
(When Rio arrives to save Lazz)
"Looks like I am back to where I was at before. Now where is Rio? Oh! Aha! There he is just as I thought... he came back for Lazz. Hah! Time to finish him off!" Cross Wing said and took aim with her sniper rifle.
"Huh!? Where is Lazz? LAZZ WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!?????????" Rio yelled.
Just then a red dot appeared on Rio's chest and when Rio saw this he quickly hide behind the wall. Suddenly, a gunshot was fired and it hit the landmines behind Rio. It set them all off and one by one they exploded. Snow and smoke flew through the air. Just then Rio took aim and fired the sniper rifle. It missed, but Cross Wing was shocked. She had never had a sniper fight before. She quickly got excited and fired back.
(Now back to where we left off)
(Griffin stronghold: Top of communications towers)
Soon they found themselves completely surrounded and outnumbered. May quickly shot at Cross Wing and she avoided it by flying upward. Rio began to shoot one creature at a time with his handgun. Just then, Amy jumped high into the air and caught a flying creature by the leg and mauled it to death.
"It's no use; you're all going to DIE!!!!!!!!" Cross Wing said and fired her sniper at Rio's leg.
Rio fell to the ground in pain and screamed. Just then a swarm of flying creatures headed toward Rio to finish him off as Cross Wing took aim at Rio's head for a headshot. May took this chance to take aim at Cross Wing and aimed for her head for a headshot. Amy rushed over to where Rio was on the ground with his blood stained all over the floor. Despite how fast Amy could run Cross Wing and May pressed the trigger of their respected sniper rifles and fired. Shortly after that the only thing that could be heard was the sound of the storm.
Just then Cross Wing swayed to the right to avoid May's bullet and Amy jumped in front of Rio to protect him from Cross Wing's headshot. It made a loud thud noise on Amy's shaggy fur. Amy then barked and Rio blasted a giant fireball toward the swarm of creatures and burned them all alive. Just then, Rio's legged healed on its own.
"Huh?" Rio said.
"It looks like some of my healing power that I imbued inside of Rio's earlier wounds into his nanomachines are starting to heal him at a fast speed." May thought.
Suddenly, another swarm of flying creatures flew in and engulfed Rio, however Rio performed a break dance and sent them all flying in different directions. Just then Cross Wing zoomed down to where Rio was and upper cutted him into the air and then whacked him with her sniper rifle and kicked him even higher. Cross Wing performed a combo of attacks and each attack sent Rio higher and higher into the air. May took aim and fired at Cross Wing and she flew up to fight Cross Wing. Cross Wing blocked the incoming bullet with her sniper rifle and met May in the air and they clashed. Rio began to fall and quickly rolled on the ground to break the fall and because of the wet floor; he slid off the tower and grabbed onto the edge with his hand.
"Damn it! That was close." Rio said and looked down.
"I won't let you get away with this May!" Cross Wing said.
"I'm not the one trying to destroy the world!" May said.
With that said, both May and Cross Wing clashed and they each fought with everything they had. May tried to kick Cross Wing and she avoided it and returned the kick. May blocked it and drop kicked Cross Wing in the face and sent her flying.
"Why you..." Cross Wing said.
Just then Cross Wing rushed at May and performed a backspin kick and May blocked it and tried to roundhouse kick her back, but it was no use. Cross Wing ducked and smacked May it the face with her sniper rifle. This sent May crashing into the tower. Rio got up and rushed to her side.
"MAY! Are you ok?" Rio asked.
" Ughn... yeah." May said in pain.
"Aww how cute. It's funny that you would that you sympathize her because you'll be joining her soon... in death!" Cross Wing said.
"Shut up and get down here Cross Wing!" Rio said.
"Aw are you getting mad?" Cross Wing said sarcastically.
"You know it!!!" Rio yelled and jumped up into the air as high as he could go.
Rio rose higher and higher and higher and unsheathed his black and red sword. Cross Wing saw this and took aim with her sniper rifle and got a click noise. She needed to reload and there was no time to do so. Rio was already in front of her and sliced at her. Cross Wing blocked it with her sniper rifle and defended herself. Rio began to hack and slash at her repeatedly. Cross Wing blocked all of Rio's attacks and noticed that after Rio's sixth attack her sniper rifle cracked. Rio began to descend and grunted that all his attacks were blocked. Cross Wing began to reload her sniper rifle when all of a sudden she saw her gun glow red. She looked up just in time to see a mid sized fireball headed her way. Cross Wing defend her self the best she could and got burned. Meanwhile Rio landed on the ground and jumped back up at her again. Cross Wing appeared after the smoke cleared and threw her coat off with rage. There were various burned marks and charred spots on her. Rio saw she had on elbow pads and readied herself for him. Rio got up to her again and sliced, but Cross Wing flew up a little bit to avoid the attack and return an axe kick to Rio's head. Rio was sent crashing into the tower next to May. Rio could hardly move from being thrown into the tower with such force. Just then Cross Wing shot both of Rio's legs and laughed.
"I got you!" Cross Wing said.
"AARRGHHNNNN!!!!!!!" Rio screamed.
"RIO!" May shouted.
"I found your weakness Rio; you can't use your G.O.N. if your legs are unusable." Cross Wing said.
May and Rio looked at each other in pain and grunted in unison. They were both breathing heavy and struggling to get up. Rio tried to reach for his black and red sword when all of a sudden Amy grabbed it with her mouth.
"A-Amy?!" Rio asked.
" What is she..." May asked.
Suddenly, Cross Wing shot at Rio again, this time aiming for his head, however Amy tilted her head sideways and blocked the bullet using Rio's black and red sword.
"Huh!?" Cross Wing said.
"Amy..." Rio whispered.
Amy used her hind foot to splash some water due to the rain onto Rio to snap him out of the state of shock he was in.
"Uh? Right! May hurry! Amy is going to buy us some time! In the meantime you can heal us!" Rio said.
"Oh...Ok?!" May said and began to heal them both within a aqua colored bubble.
"Damn it. After this one... I only have enough Quintessence to use my G.O.N. one more time." May thought.
"I sure hope you know what your doing Amy... I am counting on you!" Rio thought.
There were a few flashes of light due to the storm and load-crackling noises could be heard afterward as the lightning flew in streams across the black sky. As soon as that happened, a swarm of flying creatures flew in to kill Amy, however Amy jumped up and met them half way with great speed. Amy landed back on the ground and looked up as parts of the creatures fell to the ground. She had sliced them all in one attack. Just then another swarm of creatures flew in to kill Amy. However Amy flipped into the air and sliced them all again. She proceeded to do this while performing aerial tricks and clashing with all of their claws and fangs. She even began to hop off of one on to the other so she didn't have to land. She hacked her way threw as many as she could, but it was no use there was a seemingly endless amount of them that littered the black skies. Amy landed on the ground and began to slide due to the water puddles. However she tilted her head sideways and stabbed the ground to halt herself. Suddenly, a massive group of creatures dog piled Amy and a few seconds later Amy slashed them all and sent them all flying away.
"What the hell is she?!" Cross Wing asked.
"Whoa!" Rio said.
" Why didn't she do this from the beginning?" May asked sarcastically.
Suddenly, Amy tossed the black and red sword toward Rio and Rio caught it with one hand. Meanwhile Amy looked at Cross Wing and locked on to her. Amy then jumped up to Cross Wing in a blink of an eye and started to claw her, but she blocked with her sniper rifle and flew higher away from Amy. Suddenly, Amy spoke in a female robotic voice.
"Giga missile..." Amy said.
Just then her chest opened up to reveal gears and parts of a cyborg or robot. She fired the large missile and it headed toward Cross Wing fast.
"Holy shit!" Was all Cross Wing could muster out before flying away as fast as she could, but it was no use. The Giga missile was homing in on her and fast. If she did not do something and fast she would be a goner.
Amy landed on the ground and not one-second later three massive swarms of flying creatures were headed right for her. Amy then spoke again in a female robot voice.
"Cocytus breath..." Amy said.
Just then Amy shot out a giant beam of ice and froze everything she aimed at. All three swarms froze and fell to the ground and shattered. Nothing was left behind of the flying creatures expect diamond dust.
Whooohooo! Go Cyber Amy!" Rio cheered.
Amy began to wag her tail in excitement and spoke once more.
"Metal wolf snout..." Amy said.
Suddenly, four blue laser beams emitted from her snout and Amy began to wipe out a large portion of flying creatures and then some. It was actually raining blood and creature parts. Amy jumped into the air and fired the beams everywhere. It looked like Star Wars up in the sky. Lasers were flying explosions were being set off creatures were flying, dead or alive. Amy finally landed and shut off the lasers and barked.
"Way to go Amy! Keep it up!" Rio encouraged her.
"What in the world...." May said.
Just then, a massive swarm of flying creatures flanked Rio and May and they were headed right for them. A few groups were also headed for Amy's location as well. They were not aware, but Amy saw them coming and spoke again. All of the flying creatures in the whole black sky zoomed right for them; there was no stopping so many of them. However...
"Giga cross freezer..." Amy said.
Suddenly, Amy's hidden salvos on her back, feet, legs, shoulders, stomach, eyes, and snout all opened up. Amy howled before letting all the ice missiles go. Amy must have at least shot off a thousand missiles. They all flew with insane speeds and zipped all over the place in all directions and exploded on impact and froze everything into ice. A giant mist was all that remained and there were no more ice creatures at all that were left alive. One by one they all fell from the sky and shattered onto the ground or wherever they landed. Amy barked as she was completely out of ammo. She ran up to Rio and licked his face. Rio laughed and pets her on the head.
"Alright Amy!" Rio shouted.
"HUH!?" May's jaw dropped.
Just then there was an explosion that lit up the sky. The Giga missile that Amy fired at Cross Wing earlier had crashed into a satellite dish. The dish fell over and Cross Wing was revealed behind it. She must have taken cover behind the satellite dish in order to avoid the locked-on missile. Cross Wing flew into the air and reloaded her PSG-1 sniper rifle.
"I didn't think I would have to use this! COME FORTH!!! PSUDO-CHIMARA TEENAGER!!!!!" Cross Wing yelled and then used her beak to whistle for it.
Suddenly, an enormous shadow appeared behind her. It must have stood at least ten stories high; almost as big as the tower itself. Just then a flash of light flickered the black skies and the huge monster was revealed at last. It was the same monster Rio encountered earlier right before he was taken to Rock Lizard. Suddenly, it snaked out it's tail and grabbed Amy. Amy whimpered, as all she could do was watch.
"AMY!!!!" Rio yelled and got up.
"Rio don't! I won't be able to heal you if Cross Wing can land a head shot!" May said and grabbed Rio's arm to stop him.
"Damn it! Noo Amy!!!" Rio screamed.
There was nothing Rio or May could do as Amy's whimpers got further and further away until one loud screech from Amy was heard. After that Amy didn't make any noise, Amy didn't bark, and Amy could not be seen as she was engulfed by the darkness in the sky. The enormous monster roared as loud as he could and as he did, the black sky lit up again thanks to the lightning. Rio's eyes widened in fear as he saw Amy's guts and organs being splattered everywhere in a split second.

Will Lazz be ok or die from the loss of blood?
Looks like Cross Wing has turned the tables again, will Rio and May find a way to defeat them or will they die trying?
