Most of the other police officers who were at the Embassy Suites in Indianapolis were still asleep that morning. They had spent hours the previous day listening to speakers, mingled with their fellow officers from across the country, and even spent time wondering around the downtown of the city, but not Nick Wilde. The ZPD officer had already been up for more than an hour and had gone out to get some breakfast. He walked the couple blocks back to the hotel so he could begin another day of fun. Nick thought about the past two days; how exciting they'd been. The lucky fox had really hit the jackpot when he came in contact with the eighteen year old vulpine, Brandon. While all the other officers were down in the basement convention center, Nick was on the third floor of the hotel, fucking his brains out, getting his cock sucked and snorting coke up his nose. It was everything he'd hoped for and more on this trip.

Nick got inside the hotel and casually strolled over to the elevator, pressing the button for the third floor. With no one presently on, the doors opened quickly and he was inside and on the third floor in no time. He walked over to his room, put the key card in, opened the door, walked in and shut it. Flopping down on the bed, he kept thinking about Brandon, his new little fuck buddy. He was obsessed with the young fox, who had shown him such a good time. Nick couldn't wait for him to come back again today for more play time. After all, there were still three more days left of the convention, and he still had plenty of coke and money left to treat the young fox.

He turned on the television and flipped it to the news. A reporter somewhere in the Middle East was talking about the increasing unrest in that area of the world and how there was more and more talk about the possibility of US intervention in order to bring stability. The next segment was from Indianapolis, with the mayor and city council talking about the deteriorating condition of the city's infrastructure. The mayor was requesting a slight raise in local taxes to get the necessary funds to start renovation on the worst areas of the city.

There was a knock on the door. Nick looked at the clock and knew there was no way that it could be Brandon right now. He went to the door and looked out the peephole. It was his fellow ZPD officer, McHorn. Nick opened the door for the rhinoceros.

"Hey, McHorn," said Nick. "What's up?"

"I thought I saw you on the plane," said the rhino. "But I haven't seen you at any of the seminars or talks downstairs. You okay?"

"I've just been under the weather," said the fox. "Didn't want to get anyone sick."

"Oh, I see," said McHorn. "By the way, how's Judy? Been forever since I saw her, what with her being on maternity leave and all."

"She's fine," said Nick. "Baby's coming along alright and the doctor's say there doesn't appear to be any problems right now."

"Say, that's great, Nick," said McHorn. "You think you might make it downstairs today?"

Nick shrugged. "I might. Actually, I'm feeling much better today than when I first got here. Wouldn't be surprised if I picked up something at the airport from somebody."

"Yeah," said McHorn. "Airports are breeding grounds for germs. Well anyway, hope to see you downstairs later today."

"Thanks, McHorn," said Nick. "Appreciate your concern."

"See you, Wilde," said McHorn as he walked away. Nick shut the door and stood there for a moment, a nasty scowl showing on his face.

"Nosy bastard," said the fox. "Mind you own stinking business."

He laid back down, still mumbling to himself about the rhino's interference in his life. He could ill afford to have anyone snooping around, wondering what he was doing locked up in his room all day. Worse yet, what if the rhino happened to notice a young male fox entering Nick's room? McHorn hadn't mentioned anything about seeing that, so Nick figured he was still okay, but there was always the possibility of it happening in the future. He couldn't be too careful about avoiding be caught cheating on his wife with a teenage male prostitute that he was snorting coke with. That would be beyond disastrous.

Nick turned off the television and got up to turn off the lights. He was feeling a little tired after having gotten up so early that morning. Brandon wouldn't be over until almost noon, so he figured a little nap before their meeting was in order. He stripped down to his underwear and got under the covers. Picking up his cell phone, he set the alarm to wake him up at 10:30 AM. That would give him plenty of time to wake up and get ready for his little fuck buddy. Nick put the phone back down and yawned. He needed his rest if was going to have energy for the boy.

Nick woke up to the sound of his of his phone ringing. Sure enough it was 10:30 now. Turning the nightstand lamp on, he got up and went to the bathroom. Needing to empty his bladder, he stood over the toilet and pulled his cock out so he could take a nice, long leak. The happy fox whistled while he did so. He thought about how Brandon would be over soon and how they'd be having fun for the next several hours. He flushed the toilet and pulled his underwear off and got in the shower. He'd always hated the postage stamp sized bars of soap that every hotel seemed to have, so he had made sure to bring his own stuff to wash. He turned on the water and waited until it was just the right temperature before getting in. The hot water was soothing to him, and he washed away at his fur, scrubbing hard to make sure he was clean as possible so that he would smell bad, or worse, taste bad for Brandon when the sexy young fox was sucking him off. That would be rude.

He rinsed all the soap, shampoo and conditioner out of his fur and turned off the water. Stepping out, he grabbed a couple of towels he'd hung on the rack and scrubbed vigorously at his fur so he could get dry before going to the mirror and looking at it. He grinned as admired himself. He was in great shape and had made the decision after joining the ZPD that he wouldn't end up like some flabby, amorphous blob of a cop. He had been working out on a regular basis to stay in top physical form and it was paying off. He'd even managed to get the much younger Brandon to say that he was hot. Not bad for a guy fifteen years older than him.

The fox changed back into his street clothes on. He hadn't worn his ZPD uniform since arriving at the hotel days ago and had no intentions of putting it back on until he checked out of the hotel before the flight back home. He looked over at the alarm clock. It was just after eleven, and Brandon would be arriving soon. Nick paced around the room, unable to contain his excitement.

KNOCK! KNOCK!

"Guess he's early today," Nick said to himself. "That's fine by me."

He opened the door and indeed it was Brandon, but he had someone with him today; another fox looking to be around the same age as him. Nick's tailed wagged back and forth happily and his ears perked up.

"You bring a friend to play with us today?" asked Nick.

"Sure did," said Brandon. "This is Mason."

"Hi, Mason," said Nick. "Come on in guys."

The two young foxes came in and Nick shut the door. He turned around and smiled at both of them. "Say," said Nick. "You didn't happen to notice if any cops saw you come in here, did you?"

"Nobody was in the hall except us," said Mason.

"Ah, good," said Nick. "Don't want to arouse any suspicions of my fellow officers."

"Can't fault you there," said Brandon.

Nick sat down on the foot of the bed. "I take it you've told Mason about our little romps in the hay, Brandon?"

"Sure have," said Brandon. "Mason and I have done hookups like this before and I thought he might want to join us today."

"Nothing like a good all male threesome to brighten my day," said Nick. "You like some blow to start things out, Mason? I've been pretty generous with Brandon there."

"You sure have," said Brandon, smiling.

"Love some," said Mason.

Nick laughed and got off the bed. He went over to the table and got out the bag that contained the Schedule One Drug. "Looks like I'm gonna be even more generous today than usual."

"That's right you are," said Brandon.

Nick pulled out the bag of coke. There was still plenty there for all three of them to enjoy. He held up the bag and was about to turn around when he heard two clicking sounds. Not expecting to have heard such noises, he turned around and his heart sank. The clicking sounds had been two pistols being racked to chamber a bullet into the barrel, and those two pistols were being held by Brandon and Mason, who were pointing them straight at the older fox.

"What in the . . ."

"Shut up," said Brandon in a calm, low voice. "You just stand there and do what we tell you to okay?"

"Okay," said Nick, standing stone still.

"Now," said Brandon. "Here's what you're gonna do: You're gonna let Mason come over there and take that bag of snow from you and you're not gonna do anything stupid. Then you're gonna give him all the cash you've got on you and then we'll walk out of here like nothing happened. You understand that?"

"I understand," said Nick, his body covered in perspiration from being held at point blank range by the two robbers.

"Mason," said Brandon, motioning the other fox to go over to Nick. Mason took the bag from Nick and told him to take his wallet out, and to take it out nice and slowly. Nick removed his wallet and handed it over to Mason, who pulled out all the cash Nick had on him before throwing the wallet on the floor and returning to stand by Brandon.

"Now, this is really important, so I want you to listen and listen good," said Brandon. "Before we leave, you're gonna put your paws down and stand there like nothing's going on, okay? We're gonna back up to the door and put our guns away, but you're not gonna try anything, are you, Nick?"

"I won't try anything," said Nick. He wasn't lying. Nick wasn't on duty and he was far beyond his jurisdiction, so the ZPD officer had no gun, baton, taser or mace on him. He had no chance of surviving if he resisted.

"Once we get out the door," said Brandon. "You're not gonna say anything to anybody."

"I won't say anything," said Nick.

"That's right you won't," said Brandon. "How's it gonna look for you if you report us? What are you gonna tell them anyway; that two armed robbers stole your coke you took off a suspect back home and that you've been paying one of them money to have fuck you? You think you're wife or your other cop buddies are gonna feel sorry for you?"

"No," said Nick.

"That's right they won't," said Brandon. "Now, we're gonna start moving towards the door, so you put your paws down now, got it?"

Nick put his paws down and watched them inch their way to the door. The two robbers were about to conceal their guns, but Brandon saw the hurt look on Nick's face.

"Don't take it so personally, Nick," said Brandon. "This is just business. Besides, I wasn't lying when I said that the sex was great. Gotta thank you for that."

Nick saw them conceal their guns and open the door. They shut it, leaving him alone, with no cash and no cocaine. All the fun he'd had with Brandon, all the times he'd fucked him, got sucked off by him, that all felt completely empty now. Nick sat down on the foot of the bed and stared into the wall like a zombie. He'd allowed his lust for young guys to get the best of at the risk of ruining his career, his friendships and most importantly, his marriage to Judy. He just kept staring, not knowing he could have let something like this happen. He felt like a complete shell of a person now, and he wondered if he would ever be the same again.

Nick sat on the foot of the bed for almost two hours before he finally had the will to get up. Knowing that he wouldn't be seeking out anymore male companionship, he got his uniform out of his suitcase, stripped out of his street clothes and put it on. With nothing else to do, he might as well go downstairs and try to get something out of the convention. Nick went into the bathroom and washed his face off. Putting a towel on his face, he dried off and hung the towel back on the rack. Before he left, he looked at himself in the mirror and saw the ZPD badge on his chest. He stared at it, knowing that after all the things he'd done, he didn't deserve to wear it anymore. He was a disgrace to the uniform and no one could convince him otherwise.

Having wallowed in shame long enough, he finally left his room for the first time since being held at gun point. He went to the elevator and saw Officer McHorn already standing there. The big rhino turned and smiled at him.

"Nick," said McHorn. "Guess you're feeling better?"

"I will be . . . eventually," said the fox.

McHorn saw the strange look that Nick had about him. "You really okay, Wilde?"

"Yeah, yeah," said Nick with a sigh. "Just kind of wish I was back home right now."

"I hear you," said McHorn. "Bet you wanna get back to see Judy."

"Yeah," said Nick, seeing the elevator doors open. "She, she the best thing that ever happened to me and I was reminded of that today."

"What reminded you of that?" asked McHorn as he stepped inside the elevator.

"Just being away from her," said Nick, joining McHorn on the elevator. "Makes me wish I'd never left her to come to this place."

McHorn kept looking at Nick, seeing that something was bothering the fox, but he didn't want to pry any further. He thought about how much Nick obviously loved Judy and thought that the fox must be a damn near perfect husband.

Judy had enjoyed her parents staying with her while Nick was away, but today was the day her husband would be returning from the convention in Indianapolis and she couldn't wait to set eyes on him again. She looked down at her expanded belly and thought about how much she and her vulpine husband were looking forward to being parents.

"Wonder what the little guy or gal gonna look like?" asked her father Stu.

"He'll probably look like both of the, dear," said Bonnie, Judy's mother.

"Whatever he or she looks like," said Judy, rubbing her belly. "I'm sure Nick and I will love them and cherish them."

"Of course you will," said Bonnie. "I can tell you've got great maternal instincts."

Stu looked outside of the Wilde house and saw a yellow taxi cab pull up. Nick got out of the cab and retrieved his suitcase from the trunk and headed for the front door. "Hey, Nick's home, Judy."

Judy got to her feet so she could meet her husband as soon as he got inside. The door opened and in walked a tired looking Nick. Judy threw her arms around her husband, muzzling her head into his stomach affectionately.

"There's my dumb fox," she said.

"Dumb fox is right," said Nick. He put his suitcase down next to him.

"How was the convention, Nick?" asked his father-in-law.

"Don't care to ever go to one of those again," said the fox.

"I was wondering if you weren't enjoying yourself after you kept calling me on Muzzle Time," said Judy. "You must have really missed me."

"I did miss you Judy," said the fox. Nick sniffled, and closed his eyes. He tried to fight back the emotions, but it was useless. Within seconds, the fox went from sniffling to full out sobbing. Judy's mouth opened. She was completely flabbergasted at her husband's sudden outburst of crying.

"Nick," she said, the concern in her voice showing. "What's wrong?"

"I'm a horrible, terrible husband, Judy," he said. "I don't deserve you."

"What on Earth makes you say that?" asked Judy.

"I should have never left you here. I should have been here with you like a real husband, a good husband would. I wish I'd never gone to that stupid convention."

"Sssh, Sssh," said Judy, holding her fox tightly. "It's okay, Nick. My Mom and Dad were here and they took great care of me. Everything's just fine."

"But I'm your husband," he said, wiping the tears from his eyes. "I should be the one to take care of you."

"I think you're just tired, Nick," said Stu. "Judy, how about we get him some water and then he can go take a nap."

"Does that sound good to you, Nick?" asked Bonnie.

"Yeah," said Nick. "I think I need to lie down."

Everyone lead Nick into the kitchen, where he drank down a glass of water. Judy took hold of her husband's paw and they went to the bedroom where she helped him into bed. She kissed him on the cheek. "You just try to get some sleep, okay honey?"

"Okay," said Nick, his sobbing now under control. "Judy?"

"Yes?"

"I love you more than anything in the world, and being at that convention taught me that," said Nick.

"Aw," said Judy, giving her husband another kiss. "I love you more than anything too, Nick."

Judy left him back in the bedroom by himself. Nick tossed and turned, unable to get comfortable enough to fall asleep. He stopped all his movement when he looked at the picture of him and his wife that they kept on the nightstand. It was their wedding photo. Nick thought back to that day. It had been the happiest day of his life; the day he made a commitment to Judy that he would honor and cherish her, love her in sickness and in health and that he would be faithful to her until death parted them. He shut his eyes, thinking about how he had shattered that promise this past week. He made another vow, a vow that he would never break again. He promised himself he would never again do anything to jeopardize his job and more importantly, his marriage to Judy. It wasn't worth the risk anymore.
