I've Got Your Tail

Story by Squirrel on SoFurry

Audrey took a ragged breath.

It hadn't been so hard.

Just a few words, a few ... glances. A few minutes.

And all the tension, all the waiting, all the worry ...

... just melted. Melted. Melted like a hot knife through butter. Or like the mouse's cock through her vagina. Where it now slid. Wet, warm, and firm. Deeply embedded. Until she pushed her bare foot-paws against the carpeted floor of the Captain's ready room. And rose a few inches. Held herself there, huffing onto his cheek and whiskers ... and then sank.

Advance squeaked softly, catching his breath.

Audrey, paws on his shoulders, rose again ... held herself ... and lowered. She was facing him, at a backwards sit. Muzzle-to-muzzle in his chair. Her bare, furry legs bent. Flexing as she quietly rose and fell. The only sound ... the sound of her breathing. And his.

The desert mouse, well-adapted to heat and lack of water ... mouthed at her muzzle. Licked at her lips for moisture.

Audrey inhaled, turning her head slightly ... to find a tongue between her lips. To find her heart hammering. Body rising, and then falling ... " ... mm, mmm ... "

Suck, suck ... and the Captain's paws running up and down her sides. His fingers sliding smoothly through mahogany-colored fur. Parting it. His claws trailing along the flesh beneath all the fur.

The squirrel moaned, arching her neck. Huff, huff!

Advance, whiskers twitching, nose flaring fiercely, stroked her bare body. Their clothes were on the floor, on his desk ... his shirt was hanging off the back of their chair.

Audrey pushed up ... held it. Fell. Pushed up. Held it ... and fell. A mouse's penis was always cut/sheath-less. And normally between five and six inches ... when erect. Perfect. Just ... perfect, Audrey sighed. It didn't hurt her at all ... it was such a perfect, easy fit. Oh ... she gyrated her hips, her vagina steering his penis in different directions. Eliciting groans from the both of them. Making soft, fleshy squelching sounds from where their bodies were joined.

Oh ... mm ... she'd needed this. So, so badly. Her loins felt so hot. She rose and fell on him, forcing him to spear her over and over.

Audrey wrapped one arm around her new mate's neck. Her Captain's neck ... and fingered at her clitoris with her free paw. "Uh," she grunted. "Uhn ... " Trying to be discreet with her noises. For the bridge was on the other side of the door.

The desert mouse was sucking her neck now. Wetting her fur. And weakly bucking up at her hips. Buck, buck.

The pleasure grew.

Audrey sighed, her bushy, groomed tail ... wavering about. Both paws now on the mouse's sides. Mm ... mmm ... ride, ride, ride.

The mouse's own paws weakly on the Lieutenant's moving hips. The squirrel's motions no longer restrained. She was literally bouncing, now, on his cock. Her rump-cheeks slapping in his lap. Dripping a bit of fluid from her pussy. The droplets running down his shaft and soaking in the fur of his tensed, tightened sac. His balls swollen, sensitive, and jostled every time her rump slapped down into his lap.

"Uhhh ... ohnn, uhnn ... "

"Hmm, mm ... "

They were both squeaking. Both matting with sweat. The mouse giving high-pitched sex squeaks. A signal. The involuntary squeaks (in this high pitch) warned of impending orgasm. They always sounded a minute before climax.

The squirrel's ears cocked, swiveling ... she picked up on her Captain's involuntary squeaks. The tone, the pitch, the duration. It was her motivation to finger her clit again, to bounce in his lap with abandon. She wanted to cum at the same time. Wanted to feel this with him (not after him).

Advance, huffing now, ears burning with blood, picking up every stray sound ... he started to whimper. Baby-like whimper-squeaks. Her pussy ... so steamy-hot, full of fluid, muscle. Heat. Sheathing his maleness. And fluttering around him, teasing, trying to milk him. And ... and, oh, it was working. Oh, it worked ...

She felt a weak, weak buck. Felt his paws clutch at her sides. Felt his hot breath on her shoulders. His puffing and panting on her fur. "Ahh! Ahhn ... uhn, nnn ... mm ... " The mouse shivered hotly, squeaking ... and then puffing out and in for air. His penis jerking, spurting semen at her womb. Each twitch of the organ ... like a bolt of pleasure flung to every nerve. Shudder! Oh ... s-so good ... helplessly, the mouse swallowed and panted, hugging the squirrel close. Smelling of sweat and fur. Smelling of her.

"Oh, ohh," Audrey sighed. "Ohhh ... " The warm, almost-violent shudders and flutters of her vagina ... her pussy, her lower half just wracked in waves of pure pleasure. Milking the cock. Dripping juices. "Uhh!" She caught her breath, leaning into the mouse's body. Closing her eyes. She whimpered lightly.

Advance, breath hot, stroked and scritched her bare back ...

Such a loving, tender motion. She breathed as best she could, her orgasm in its tail stages ... " ... oh," she breathed, nosing his neck. Nosing. Sniffing. "Oh ... thank you ... "

A breath from the mouse. Clearing his throat a bit. Flushed. "Um, uh ... y-you're welcome." A pause. A deep breath through his twitching, sniffing nose, which was on her shoulder. His arms still wrapped around her. Keeping them breast to chest. "Mm ... you did most of the work," he admitted bashfully. "I ... I should be thanking you."

She pulled her head up a bit. And met his eyes.

"If you hadn't, um ... forced it," Advance said. "I ... I would've been too timid." He trailed. Eyes darting a bit.

"If you're trying," she whispered, "to apologize, or ... then don't. Darling ... please," she whispered. "Don't ... " She slipped her fingers between his. Squeezed his paw. And breathed in. And sighed. And smiled.

The mouse smiled back.

"Mm ... " A soft kiss. A soft sigh. Audrey glowing, seemingly.

Advance giggle-squeaked. "Is it too soon to say that ... I love you?"

"Never. Never," she assured. Still in his lap. Still filled by him ... though he was starting to shrink. "I love you, too," was her whisper. "Mm ... I, uh ... think your mouse-hood needs a bit of air. It's wilting."

The moused flushed shyly. "I think you exhausted it ... "

"Well, you've got a good one," she said seriously, lifting her hips. And the mouse's member flopped out. She sighed. And sat back down. And leaned into him. Snuggling, nuzzling ... whispering, "I feel, like, ten times more confident than I did before. Like ... infused with ... hope and energy." A swallow. "Love," she whispered, "is strange, isn't it?"

"I try not to think about it."

"Better to just ... let it happen, huh?" she said, smiling.

The mouse nodded quietly. Half an hour ago, he'd ... been in here. Alone. And, now ... he took a breath. "You've always been so ... restrained. I mean, reserved ... you sort of just came in here and pounced! I ... what made you do it?"

"I thought that's, uh, how you wanted it ... you're a mouse. I ... you're a sub."

Advance nodded, whiskers twitching. "Yeah ... you're right. I just ... I didn't think you would do it."

"I needed it," was her serious whisper. "Needed," she repeated, "you. And ... " She squeezed his paw. Closed her eyes. "I've wanted to mate you ... for so long. I'm just, you know ... it's like a weight off my shoulders. I feel so happy."

The mouse wasn't quite sure what to say to that. Only, "I'm happy, too." And he was. He was just a bit ... flabbergasted. He'd been pounced, alright. And it had been a while, too, since ... anyone had done that to him. He was grateful. He just ...

"I know," she said, as if reading his mind, "that you're the quiet, shy type. You're from the desert. You're ... spare. I know that, you know, you worry about things. You don't tell anyone, but you do. But I'm a squirrel. I'm an acrobat. I'm a live wire. I can ... help you. I can give you a jolt now and then. I can do something," she promised, "for you. And I ... I hope you'd want to," she whispered, "for me. To help me, I mean."

"Of course," he whispered, putting his nose against her neck. Closing his eyes. Breathing. "Of course, Audrey ... I ... "

"Aud."

"Mm?"

"You can call me Aud," she whispered.

"Aud," he repeated. And swallowed. "There's, uh, a shower in the bathroom. We should shower," he said.

"They'll figure it out," she replied, with a bit of a smile.

"Yeah ... but if they smell it on us, no one will be able to concentrate."

A small giggle. "No," she agreed. "Mm ... "

A comm chirrup.

Advance took a breath. Responded, "Yes?"

Aria's voice filtered into the room. "We are nearing the source of the human transmission. We'll be there in half an hour."

"Understood. I'll, uh ... be out in a bit."

"Don't you mean 'we'?" was the rabbit's response. And, though, very calm and controlled ... very emotionally unreadable, one could've SWORN ... there was a hint of teasing in that tone.

"Yeah, uh ... yeah. We'll be out. Keep me notified if anything happens." And the mouse cut the channel. Cheeks flushing.

"They all do it, too," Audrey assured.

"Yiff?"

"Course ... "

A sigh. "Aria doesn't. She stares at me with this ... icy seriousness. She thinks I'm too soft, too quiet, too ... mousey," Advance whispered, "to be a good captain."

"She respects you."

"But does she like me?"

"I," Audrey emphasized, "like you. And, right now," she purred, "that should do it for you ... mm ... now ... shower?" A whisker-twitching, nose-sniffing smile.

And he returned it. "It'll have to be a quickie."

"Hmm," the squirrel pondered, squinting playfully. And then she grinned. And slipped off his lap and held out her paw.

He took it.

And she tugged him to the bathroom.

Shuttle-pod One shuddered.

Herkimer's whiskers twitched as he craned his neck upward. Looking to the docking hatch. Half-expecting it to be ripped open. To be ambushed by ... humans. Whoever they were. Whatever they wanted. This was their ship. And they (the boarding party from Solstice) were going to board it.

"You each have your phase pistols?" Aria asked calmly.

"I, uh ... don't have mine," the mouse said.

A phase pistol was thrust in his general direction. "There are two settings: stun and kill."

The mouse swallowed.

"I suggest you keep it on stun."

"Uh ... yeah," he whispered nervously, taking the weapon. He held it with one paw. And with the other, he tugged at his silver-blue collar.

"Herky ... "

The grey-furred mouse looked up. Blinked. At Advent.

The jaguar showed her teeth, grinning an almost lusty, blood-driven grin. "I got your tail," she promised. And gave a purr.

The mouse swallowed nodded. And eyed her weapon. It wasn't on stun. It was set on kill. And he looked back up at his mate's eyes.

She winked at him, making a "shh" sound with her lips.

The mouse's tail jerked about anxiously. Whiskers twitching. Nose sniffing, and ...

... " ... are we gonna do this," Welly demanded, "or not?"

"I need help opening the hatch," Aria stated. "It won't open. We'll have to do it manually." She was so beautiful. Pure white. Almost a holy white. And those icy-blue eyes. But she never smiled. Never tolerated anything less than complete, ordered civility. She was very hard to get to know.

"Allow me," said Advent, sidling up next to the rabbit. Purring (almost seductively). And, gritting her teeth, she clawed at the hatch. Pulling it open. Barely. And then Welly slipped his paws into the opening and helped her pull the hatch fully open. The metal slices of the door sliding into the bulkhead. And cool, almost dusty air ...

... filtered down into the pod.

Herkimer's whiskers twitched. He made a face. "It smells ... old."

"From what we know of them," Aria stated simply, staring up into the dark belly of the human ship. "They have no fur. Just skin and body hair. I would imagine they shed skin quite a bit ... I would imagine it gives a musk."

"I guess so," the mouse replied quietly, watching as the snow rabbit fearlessly climbed the ladder, leaving the pod. Emerging on a perimeter deck of the human ship. The rabbit looked down at the rest of them, waggling her ears. Raising her brow.

"I think she wants us to follow," Welly said, a bit tongue-in-cheek.

"Prey," Advent scoffed, jostling Welly and Herkimer out of the way. Following the rabbit. "Herky, come on. NOW," was the jaguar's order.

Welly exchanged a sympathetic glance with the mouse, mouthing (without sound), "In over your ears?"

The mouse just frowned worriedly ... not answering. But doing as told. Following the jaguar up and into the dark.

And the skunk bringing up the tail of the group. So that all four of them were now in the human ship. Weapons and scanners drawn.

Aria padded a few steps forward. Paused. Turned around. And started padding in the other direction.

"Life-signs?" the skunk asked, checking his own scanner.

"Dampening fields," the rabbit whispered cautiously. "I believe there's ... there are several," she corrected, "humans aboard."

"It's supposed to be abandoned!" Herkimer squeaked, inching back toward the docking hatch.

The jaguar forcibly grabbed her mate's arms. Not letting him retreat.

"Apparently not," was Aria's reply. Her weapon aimed at the dark. "But I believe we can handle them."

"Damn right we can!" the jaguar growled.

"For a predator, you're awfully keen on meeting these ... humans," Welly told the feline.

"They are to be destroyed. It is my duty to hunt them down. For the good of all furs."

"Nobody will be doing ... anything of the sort," Aria said.

"Sub-commander," squeaked Herkimer.

The rabbit waggled her ears. Nose twitching a bit. "Yes?"

"I saw a light ... " The mouse pointed down a diverging corridor. "Down there," he whispered.

The snow rabbit stepped toward him. And pointed her scanner where directed. She squinted. "The dampening fields are stronger in that direction."

"Then they must be hiding there," the jaguar declared.

"Or they must be hiding something."

"Themselves," the jaguar repeated.

"Or something else," the skunk countered. "We have no idea what this ship is doing here. No idea what's ON it ... human technology," the skunk whispered, "could be far beyond our own."

"Let's just get this over with," Herkimer pleaded. His heart was racing. He fought the urge to scurry.

Without saying a word, Aria padded softly toward the aforementioned light. Her white bob-tail flicking a bit ... and her ears waggling. Her gait a very poised, controlled one. Moving not too fast. Not too slow. And her hips moving from side to side as she went.

"Aren't you mated to Bell-Bell now?" Herkimer whispered to Welly, seeing the skunk's eyes ... as they followed the snow rabbit's figure.

Welly, flushing beneath his fur, replied, "I was just looking ... "

Advent brushed past the skunk and mouse, following on the snow rabbit's heels. And Welly and Herkimer followed her, and ...

... the four of them went through the empty, darkened corridor.

"There's not even a hum," the mouse said, his pink and dishy ears swiveling.

"Mm?"

"On every ship, you can hear the engines humming ... beneath it all. No engines."

"They're probably disabled."

"There's no battle damage," Advent remarked keenly, her eyes better-suited for seeing in this dark. "No scars. No weapon scorches ... there's no REASON this ship should be derelict."

Aria stopped, sighing, turning around, and whispering sharply, "I suggest, for the sake our own safety as WELL as our ship's ... that you close," she enunciated, "your muzzles. If, indeed, this ship is not abandoned, we are probably being watched."

Advent frowned. Welly sighed. And Herkimer twitched.

Aria turned back around and kept going. And they followed.

Until they reached a room. A room with a window. Almost like an observation room. And on the other side of the window ... was a medical bed.

"There's something in there," Herkimer whispered, nose sniffing the air.

"A human!" the jaguar hissed, drawing her weapon, and ...

" ... stop it!" Aria hissed, grabbing the jaguar's wrist.

Advent growled, dangerously shoving the rabbit into the wall. "Do NOT," she growled, "touch me."

The rabbit didn't lose her cool. And yet ... she seemed to burn with some kind of cold hatred. "It is you," she countered, "who should be removing her paws."

"Oh, yeah?" A toothy growl. "And what are you ... "

The rabbit spun. HARD. Still clutching the jaguar's wrist.

The feline howled, her weapon clattering to the floor ... and she quickly retracted before the snow rabbit could sprain or break her wrist. Hissing, huffing for air, she shook her head. "That was a mistake," she promised Aria. "A very ... "

"Shut up!" Welly barked at them, stepping between them.

Herkimer, meanwhile, had his nose pressed to the glass of the window. And, with every exhale ... a cloud of his breath showed up. Disappearing upon inhale. His eyes unblinking.

Aria, composing herself, noticed the mouse's hypnotic attention to the unconscious figure in the darkened room ... on the other side of the window. "What," the rabbit huffed, "is it?"

"I don't know," Herkimer whispered. "I think it's human, but it's ... it's not. At the same time ... "

Welly, stepping away from the two femmes, drew his scanner. Stared. Scanned again, tapping at it. "It IS human." He looked to Aria. "Or it was."

"Was?" A squint.

"Here." He handed over his scanner.

The rabbit squinted at the read-outs. And Advent crowded her to get a look, too.

"It's being mutated from the inside out. Being changed into ... some other species."

"Mutated?" asked the jaguar, squinting her golden, slitted eyes. Looking to the window.

"I imagine it must be very painful. Whole organs just ... dissolving. Being rearranged. It's probably why it's unconscious," the skunk whispered.

"This can't be correct." Aria frowned. Shaking her head. "That creature WAS human, but ... the readings indicate it's ... "

" ... being turned into a fur," Welly whispered. "Yeah."

Aria handed the skunk his scanner back.

"Turned into a fur?" Advent asked, voice barely audible. "How? By whom?"

"By the other humans?" Aria asked. "Why would they do that? Where would they get the genetic sequences, the ... they would need a fur as a test subject," she realized. "They would ... how," she whispered.

"I don't know. But to turn a human INTO a fur, you would think they would ... need a furry test subject. More than one, most likely."

"We should get out of here," the feline said, head darting this way and that. Scanning the dark.

"I just don't know what species it's being turned into," Welly said, going to the window.

"I do," Aria said. "I recognize it ... vole," she whispered, at the window now, too.

"Vole?" Advent and Welly asked.

Aria arched her brow, looking to Herkimer ...

... who quietly nodded and supplied, "Meadow mouse."

Welly was running scans again. "You're right. Vole."

"Meadow mouse," Herkimer whispered again.

"We get it," Advent hissed.

Herkimer looked to his mate.

She squinted back at him.

"He's retaining some ... human systems. And gaining furry ones. It's almost like they're trying to MERGE humans and furs. To get the best of both."

"You mean, he's supposed to be a hybrid?" Aria asked, clutching her phase pistol.

"I think. I, uh ... if we could get him out of there, back to Solstice ... I could know a lot more." He looked around.

"Stand back."

The others looked to Advent. The jaguar had her weapon pointed at the door to the right of the glass window.

"You could set off an alarm!" Welly told her.

"We need him. We NEED to find out what the humans are up to. Are they developing a genetic virus to turn us ALL into humans? To turn us into hybrids? We NEED to know ... now, step back," the feline repeated.

The others did so. Seeing there was no arguing with her. And she DID have a point. They couldn't exactly go back to Solstice without this unconscious human/fur ... whatever it was ...

The jaguar's weapon fired. The door sparked and ... swished open.

"Your weapon's not on stun," Aria realized.

The jaguar spun her pistol ... aiming it at the rabbit. "No," she whispered. "It's not."

Herkimer's heart skipped several beats.

But the jaguar had no intention of firing ... not right now. She pointed her weapon back at the door. And moved forward. "I'll get the human. The rest of you ... "

BLARE! BLARE!

"Dammit!" Aria hissed, in a rare moment of losing her cool. "Advent, get him! Let's go!" The snow rabbit shoved Welly forward. "Back to the pod."

"What about ... "

"That's an order! Go!"

Welly started to move off, and ...

... CHOOM! Choom ...

"Eek!" squealed Herkimer, dodging sparks. Mere inches from a laser discharge. The mouse scrabbled and scurried to the right.

Aria, stepping boldly forward, aimed her weapon into the dark. Fired once. Twice. Three times ... until there was a slump. And the rabbit sighed. "Advent," she whispered, containing herself.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," the jaguar said, resenting being scolded. Ferrying the unconscious human over her back. The human that ... was sprouting fur. Whose face was becoming a muzzle.

They got halfway back ... down the hallway they'd come down.

And more laser fire.

Welly barked. His tail-fur grazed, and the smell of burning fur. He waved his tail like a silky blanket.

Aria kept firing in front of them. "Lieutenant!" she said of Herkimer. "Fire from the rear!"

"But ... "

"Do it!"

The mouse did so. Not able to see in the dark. But firing into it. Just in case they were being hunted from behind.

"Aria," Welly shouted. Ahead, now, of the rest of them. Already at the hatch. "The pod," he whispered. "It's been jettisoned."

"Well, get it back!" Advent growled, still carrying the human. She shifted the weight of him.

"Tie your scanner," Aria advised calmly, "into the pod's navigational controls. Bring it back via remote ... "

"That'll take a few minutes," Welly said worriedly, already doing it.

Herkimer, twitching in pure mouse-like fashion, stayed instinctively close to Advent. "Y-you still got my tail?" he asked timidly. Shaking for breath.

"You know it, doll," was her huffing response, drawing him closer. To her front.

Aria watched the two of them.

"What?" Advent asked, squinting.

"Nothing," the snow rabbit responded.

"I hear voices," Herkimer whispered.

"Got it!" Welly announced. "Got it ... she's docked!" He ripped open the hatch, and reached out for Aria's paw. "Sub-commander," he urged.

The rabbit took his paw, going down the ladder.

"Herkimer. Come on," Welly said.

"Go," Advent said, nudging her prey.

Herkimer went down the ladder next.

"Femmes first," said Welly.

"Trying to be a hero? Last fur out of danger?"

"Stealing your limelight, am I?" asked the skunk, grinning with his teeth.

The feline just smiled at him. "Mm ... " And she lowered the unconscious human down the hatch. And jumped in after.

Welly the last one down (just as he'd been the last one in).

Hatch shut.

"Go!" Aria yipped, tending to the human.

Herkimer, at the helm ... his paws scurried, flew over the controls. The pod shuddered. "They're ... they're trying to keep us at the hatch!"

There was a pounding, drilling sound coming from above them.

Advent craned her neck upward. "Humans," she whispered.

The lights flickered.

Aria stumbled past Welly and into the co-pilot's seat, taking control from Herkimer. A paw POUNDING on the impulse controls.

The pod jerked. Hard. And tilted.

The mouse fell out of his seat.

The rabbit, holding on, gunned the engines, ripping the pod away from the hatch. And swerving back toward Solstice.

"That's ... that's gonna leave some scar-marks on the top of the pod," Welly said.

"This is MY pod," Advent piped in. She, being the helm officer, was in charge of up-keeping the pods.

Aria ignored them both. Piping into the comm. Sighing. Saying, "Shuttle-pod One to Solstice."

"Go ahead, Sub-commander ... you okay?"

"The ship is NOT derelict," the rabbit responded.

"I'll say," Herkimer muttered darkly.

"We recovered a ... specimen," Aria said carefully.

"Specimen?" Advance asked.

"I'll explain when we get back. I suggest you move closer to us ... I have reason to believe the human ship will power up soon. It may attempt to stop us."

"Alright. Hurry back. Solstice out."

Welly sighed, leaning back in his seat.

Advent closed her eyes. Breathed. Breathed. The human on the ground

The mouse stared at the human ... who was becoming a meadow mouse. And Herkimer's whiskers twitched.

"Leave it alone," Aria said quietly. "Get back in your seat, Lieutenant."

The mouse nodded quietly.

The humans had felt that capturing furs ... would be like capturing simple animals. Set a simple trap. But the furs had come well-armed. Well-prepared to fight and evade ... and, now, had taken Ross. Evidence of what the humans were doing out here.

The human ship lit up, engines glowing ...

"Advance," Audrey whispered, looking at the screen.

The mouse, upon hearing his name, followed her gaze. Seeing the human ship, just inside the edge of the nebula ... as it powered up. "Weapons," the Captain demanded. "Polarize the hull plating ... "

"They're moving off. They're going to warp."

"Stop them ... "

"Sir, the pod's not aboard ... we can't leave them behind."

The desert mouse caught his breath. Watching as the human ship jumped away. Blurred out into space. "How long," he whispered, "until the pod's aboard."

"Another minute," Audrey replied.

Advance looked to her. "Tell them to hurry." The mouse swallowed, going to the secondary helm officer (who was piloting the ship in Advent's absence). "As soon as the pod's aboard, follow them ... "

"Sir, I think they're faster. We won't ... "

"Just do it," the mouse ordered. "Follow them," he whispered. "We can't let them get away."

"What if there are more human ships in that nebula?" Audrey piped in. "What if they're LURING us away?"

"We can't take that chance," said Advance. "If ... if we stay, they'll get away. If we follow, and there ARE other ships in the nebula ... either way ... "

"Heads or tails?" Audrey whispered.

"What?"

"I'm thinking heads or tails," she told her new mate. "One ... we follow. One we stay. Pick one."

"Aud ... "

"Darling," she whispered. "Heads or tails?"

A sigh. A whisker-twitch. His furred, mousey tail ... snaking behind him. He paced on his foot-paws. Stopped. Looked to her. "Tails."

A shy, warm smile. "Thought so." And she looked to the helm. "Is the pod aboard?"

"Yes," replied the officer.

"Then pursuit course. Maximum speed."

Advance smiled at Audrey. "Are mouses ... am I that much a sub ... that you have to make my decisions for me?"

"I'm the Captain's mate," she mouthed silently back. "I've got your tail."

The mouse smiled and looked away. To the viewer. Watching as the stars streaked. As they went to warp. In hot pursuit of the human vessel.
