#3 of Amazing Race All Stars

Previously on the Amazing Race, the teams landed in Norway safe and sound. But it was an immediate run to search through ancient ruins then scarf down a traditional meal. Many alliances were formed while a few old ones revamped themselves. Tammy & Rachel made a pact to stay together and they came in first. Meanwhile, Zander finished the eating challenge first, but thanks to an allergic reaction of Griffin's, the co-workers came in last place and were cut from the race.

17 teams remain. Who will end up last this time? Keep watching because it's time for... the Amazing Race: All-Stars.

***

"Welcome back to Norway," Toner, the host, introduces. "Yesterday's checkpoint, the Viking boat museum, serves as today's starting point. Teams always depart in the same order in which they arrived. First up today are our shining golden girls; the olympians, who now hold two Express Passes. By the end of the 8th leg of the race, the Passes can be used to skip one task. But Tammy & Rachel must give the other one to a different team before they can use it Without further ado...."

Tammy & Rachel leap towards the first clue box of the day with the skunk taking the tip. "'Take a flight to Oklahoma City and ride shuttle buses to... Thackerville'," she reads. "Am I saying that right?"

Probably. Oklahoma is known for its diverse landscape and numerous twisters. The state also holds a heavy pioneering history which holds a small factor in today's leg. Once teams arrive in Thackerville, they'll find the next tip at the WinStar Golf Course, and no we did not endorse anything.

Dev & Jon collect their clue before the next team to leave. "Go!" Ren says. The married couple stay right on the prostitutes' tails.

The marines leave fourth. "Thackerville," Chris reads. "Let's go." After they make it to the airport and get seats on the next flight out, the wolf breathes heavily out his nose. "We have to get out of this fourth place funk we've been through," he says, referring to last year when they came in 4th ten times in a row. "I'll seriously take any other number other than 4... and last place." Zack only sits back, ready for their flight.

The first teams are on a direct flight out. But as for the remaining nine teams, they'll be delayed by nearly two hours. So a few of our teams decide to take the extra time to get some sleep; as it will probably be vital for this leg of the race.

But a couple teams are wide awake for the 17-hour flight. The phone operators, Sally & Sindy, are nearly ready to head to sleep. Across from them, the movie experts, Jack & Maria, decide to talk strategy. "We need to work on getting our alliance back together," the bear says.

"I agree," Maria says, slipping on her sleep mask, "but the sorority sisters are on the other flight and it'll be hard to catch back up to them. Besides, Seven and Stuart are not even here this time."

"I know that. But I think I know two people who can very well be their replacement..." Jack nods over to the vixens who are on the verge of sleeping (notable by Sally's slight drooling).

Maria rolls her eyes. Right now should be the time to get some sleep because they have a hard battle to face once they land. Although, a third team on their side could be a charm. She finally gives in. "Okay. But I'll speak to them." She gets up, leaving a fidgety Jack behind.

Sally has her eyes closed, a buzzing feeling revolving around her head; the same one that happens right before you dream. Someone taps her shoulder and she bolts upright, eyes darting, confused. Her vision adjusts on the orange hound who takes a seat next to them. "Maria? What're you doing? You should be sleeping."

"I understand. But myself and Jack want to make an offer with you two."

"Weren't you and him eliminated right after you made your first alliance?" Sindy asks, fully awake despite her need for rest.

"That only happened because of a secret power we didn't know about," Maria argues. "But now we know to be more aware of what could happen. Besides, your alliance with Lucius & Max didn't last as long as most people hoped because you two fell behind as well. So, we have a lot in common."

Sindy & Sally communicate with each other with their eyes, sending secret signals. They don't seem to agree with each other. But, knowing that since they're alone and they'll need all the help they can get, the vixens agree to talk about it. "After we take a nap," Sindy says, resting her head back on the seat.

This just in, the first flight has landed. A white shuttle bus waits for them as they run out of the airport, on board for the long drive to Thackerville. Just like last season, Zack sits with Cal & Ren, catching up on each other about their lives after the race.

"It feels great knowing we're at the front of the pack," Barbara says. Literally, her and Eddy have the front seat of the bus. "Last time we were always very far behind. Way to keep up, partner." Eddy looks at her like she's crazy. It isn't very much like her to be very... friendly towards him.

Either way, the smaller wolf offers an, "Uh... thanks," and goes back to staring out the window. In her mind, messing around with Eddy is what ultimately costed them the game last time. This year, she thinks, make no mistake, we will make to all the way to the top.

"We probably have the dumbest luck out of everyone on the show," Nick says. Judy leans against him for a couple extra minutes of sleep. "We went from last place, to being on the second flight, to being tied for first. Hopefully this time, we actually make it to the winner's circle." That and as long as they stay ahead of their rivals, the drivers, things will be okay for him.

Soon, the bus arrives at the golf course. The eight teams rush out and run after the clue box outside, illuminated by the night lights of the building. Sounds of crickets chirping cease as the next tip is collected. "Roadblock," Joey reads. "'Put Putters'?"

Since we can't use the actual golf course after sundown, we were forced to improvise. For this Roadblock, whoever didn't eat the Norwegian breakfast must put one golf ball over 100 yards away into a hole. A miniature golf course has been set up inside by our staff. Here's the catch: if the players miss, they'll have to start over. Only when they sink the ball in one stroke can they receive the next tip.

Ren and Zack grab putters first, taking the lead. Angie, Jon, and Rachel follow. "You've got this, Joe!" Miles roots for his partner. Joey rolls her eyes. Golfing was not one of her strongest pursuits, her time on the race last time proved it.

Judy also is reluctant to begin the challenge. She has a tough time getting a grip on the putter, the smallest club of them all. "We don't really golf where I'm from," the rabbit says. "When Nick begged me to come back to the show, I forgot that Toner likes to throw in a bunch of stuff I've never done before." But in her heart, she knows she has to try.

Most of the mini courses are set up in the auditorium, a vast and spacious room filled with row after row of seats. Two center aisles and four middle rows allow enough room for the racers to complete the Roadblock. Though some of the sets are outside in the hall just in case.

Ren and Zack use the same strategy: keep hitting golf balls towards the set up "hole" until one of them sinks in. The rules say the shot has to be made in one stroke, so it only means they have to start from the same place. It doesn't say how long it has to be between strokes. "You're pretty good," Ren acknowledges when Zack nearly sinks it.

"Thanks," the fox replies. "Me and my dad used to do this sort of thing all the time." Of course, that was real golf. Putting is a lot simpler and easier, his dad once told him, because you have more control of the ball with the smaller club.

Barbara has a frustrating time doing the task. Right as the ball gets close to where the hole is, it swerves and misses. Almost as if the ball was taunting her. Haha, it says, you'll never get me in. She lets out a growl of frustration. "Just remain focus, Barb!" Eddy says. "Think about something that relaxes you."

Barb swing her club and paw and veers back, bringing the end of her club right into her partner's groin. Eddy collapses on the ground, paws covering his junk while he howls softly as if he couldn't do it any louder. She takes another shot and her ball sinks into the hole. "What do you know?" Barbara asks. "Thinking positive thoughts works after all."

"Good for you," Eddy squeaks in pain.

Barb walks over to the next clue box at the stage. "'Use a GPS to locate the next challenge'," she reads. As teams exit the casino, they must pick up one of the GPSs provided and set, on foot, to the next clue box at Leeper Lake.

Critics take the lead. But Joey, Rachel, and Judy struggle with the challenge. Flight number two lands just in time. Our remaining nine teams race to get onto their bus and ride out. As they drive over to Thackerville, Angie manages to sink the ball in one shot. "It's easy," she tells the audience, "my sorority used to have a weekly golf outing. This was a piece of cake."

Jon picks up his pace, seeing some of the other teams finishing. The husky uses the same strategy he saw Ren doing. He spills most of his golf balls on the ground and puts them, one at a time, towards the hole. When he sinks it at last, Devon squeals, "Way to go, hun!"

He shouted almost directly into Tammy's ear. The skunk tries to calm herself using one of her anger management lessons. Count to twenty. 1. 2. 3. She takes a deep breath and keeps her attention on Rachel. She applauds in encouragement, "You've got this, Ray-Ray!" 13. 14. 15...

The prostitutes run by her as they leave. Jon bumps into her without looking back. She growls. There is something about that hooker I just do not like, she thinks. She almost forgets her partner for a second. Rachel snaps her out of her reverie after she sinks a shot. "What were you zoning out for?" she asks.

"Um... nothing," Tammy lies. "Just..." She digs into her brain for some kind of lie to tell. Anything. She comes up with nothing. "... Hey! Shouldn't we be heading towards the lake?" She runs on with an innocent smile.

The teams from Flight Two arrive at WinStar. Most teams are initially shocked at their first challenge. "I have to do what?!" Syd asks.

"Relax, it's just a game of golf," Brent says. But he knows Syd will more than likely fail. When he was seven, he signed up for a miniature golf tournament with his father and they came in last place. All because Syd didn't know how to hold a club properly. Ever since, Syd hasn't ever picked up a club.

"Got any delicious schemes to sabotage the others?" Donna asks her new ally and new apparent

best friend, Claudia.

"Hmm, I'm not sure," the cat says. "How do you screw up a game of golf?"

Vito groans. "Will you girls just focus on the challenge?" he asks. "If you haven't noticed, we were almost cut yesterday." Vito's mind is divided. On one hand, it's great that Donna has a new friend and all. But their friendship is costing them the race. Sixteenth place?! That's the worst they've ever done together! Him and Hans need to find some way to split them up. For the moment.

Mabel and Josee grab their clubs for the task, the tigress burning a fire in her eyes. Right now, her and Ryan are in the bottom half. Anything she can do to intimidate the other teams, you know, to plant a psychological seed, she'll do it. But Mabel doesn't respond, idle as always.

Kit and Mitch pair up for the task. There was no rule saying two teams couldn't work at the same hole. Mitch allowed Kit to take the colored golf balls while he took the white ones. "I'm so happy that my sister is finally letting loose a little bit," Kitty squeals to Jasper.

"I think that it's more than that," Jasper says.

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"Just look at them." Kit runs right behind Mitch, but Kitty notices that her tail is swaying slightly. She never sways her tail that much. Even when she won the 9th grade Spelling Bee; and that a victorious moment for her.

She gasps. "You don't mean...?" Kitty squeals again. My sister has a boy-crush! she thinks. Maybe they'll want to go out together; for hell's sake Mitch might feel the same way! This is big news for her. But she pins her ears down. "There's no way we can get them to admit their feelings."

"I'll talk to him about it," Jasper says.

Sindy and Maria head into WinStar tied for last place. But it's still anyone's game. Judy loses her balance nearly half the times she attempts to make a shot. Donna and Claudia take up holes closer together much to the dismay of their partners.

Joey finishes the task next, sweat barreling down her forehead and underarms. Miles waves a paw in front of his nose. "Whew! Joe, when was the last time you used deo?" he asks. Joey shrugs.

The critics reach Leeper Lake first, the water shimmering slightly under the reflective moonlight. Even with the low light, Barbara can see a multitude of giant logs and long, wide blades. She finds the clue box right on time. "It's a One-Way," she reads, "'Who's ready for a cut-throat competition'?"

Back in pioneer days, people used two-man saws to cut through tree logs. For this challenge, teams must work together to saw one giant log into 3 parts. They then must follow the lakeshore until they reach the checkpoint near the highway. Last team to check in... could be sent home.

While Barbara & Eddy figure out how to use the saw, the sorority sister, olympians, and prostitutes arrive in time for the task. "Have you ever used one of these things before?" Tammy asks, holding one end of the blade. It's heavier than it looks.

"No," Rachel says. "But how hard can it be?" For them, it was way harder than expected. The biggest problem was figuring out how to saw in sync with each other. But they eventually get the hang of it. The next issue was how large the logs were. They had to have been five or six feet in diameter. How Toner finds these things eludes Tammy.

Fortunately, the size of the logs are an issue for other teams. Especially Jon, who's having trouble tilting it onto its side. "A little help?" the husky asks his partner. Devon gives him a hand moving it down onto its side. Frustrated that he was about to lose a foot, Jon thrusts the other handle towards Dev, nearly cutting his finger open. "Let's just hurry up."

Being city girls, Angie & Jennifer aren't exactly the most "qualified" for manual labor. And they know that. Miraculously, they keep their eyes on the prize, cutting through the wood as fast as they can. On more than one occasion, Jen accidentally speeds up. "Woah, woah, slow down!" Angie exclaims. She laughs, "We're not in last place."

"My bad." The collie blushes. More than likely, it's the night air that's making her fidgety. Jen isn't one to get very anxious.

Right as Joey & Miles arrive to start cutting, more teams begin to finish the golfing task. Right as Zack sinks his golf ball into the hole, Chris cheers out, "Nice job, foxy!" He slaps himself and blushes hard. Ren finishes soon after, Cal right on his tail as they leave with their allies.

Mabel remains expressionless as she makes her strokes. "You've got this, girl!" June says from the sidelines. The cat ignores her. Yawning as if this were another average day, Mabel takes another shot, aiming towards the side so the ball will bounce off and head directly for the hole. Her planning works and the ball sinks.

Noticing this, Brent grunts out of jealousy. "Will you hurry up?!" he barks. "The graduates have just finished. We can't finished after them!"

The yelling does nothing but screw up Syd's shot and the ball misses the hole completely. Angry, he turns to his partner. "Hey, have you tried not shouting at me over everything?" Syd demands. "I don't care about your personal issues about Mabel. I just want my friend back; that's the only reason I came back into this race. Now if you excuse me..." He turns back to the task without another word.

Mitch and Kit turn the Roadblock into a friendly competition. They made a bet to see which one of them can sink the shot first. "Fine," Kit agrees, "but the winner gets a footrub from the loser."

"You are on!" Mitch shakes paws with her eagerly. He takes a shot first, then her. Both miss.

Kitty and Jasper watch from the side as a white ball then a colored ball go tumbling towards the hole 100 yards away. Most of them miss completely. A couple make the two sit at the edge of their seat until it turned out to be a miss. A couple end up short, which frustrates Kit. "I would give anything for popcorn right now," Jasper says.

Both a white ball and a purple ball land into the hole at the same time. "Yes! I win!" Kit exclaims.

"No way, it happened at the same time," Mitch argues. But there was a tone to his argument. Almost a sarcastic-friendly tone like he doesn't really mind if what he said was true.

"You guys both finished," Kitty butts in, "and that's all that matters." She goes to collect clues for her and the frat bros. Together, the four of them head off to the lake.

Sindy & Sally stick close to the movie experts. They offered them a chance to work together on the place. Time to finally give them an answer. So while Maria works on making the perfect shot, Sally comes up to Jack and says, "Me and Sindy have talked it out and our answer is yes; we will work with you guys."

Jack grunts in approval. "Great to hear," he says, giving her a tight hug. Sally begs for release and he complies, the vixen gasping for breaths of air.

"Finished!" A female voice comes from the other side of the auditorium. "Are you coming Vito or not?"

The fox grumbles under his breath. Claudia finishes next, the bakers right on their tail. Vito runs alongside Hans and says, "Have you thought of a way to split them up?"

"No. But I think I know how to start," Hans replies.

Sindy and Maria finish at nearly the same time. Even though they're in the bottom five, Sindy feels really good about their chances. With another team by their side, they're stronger. But if they can also get the sorority sisters on their side, they'll be even stronger.

***

A lot of the teams make it to the cutting challenge. The marines take it slow and steady, the way they have done stuff together before. "We'll be fine," Chris says. "Me and Zack have done this kind of thing before."

The fox nods. "But it was a scary scenario. One time there was a wasp nest in a tree and one of our fellow marines dared us to cut down the tree for $500. As we were cutting, some of the bugs came down and stung us." Zack shivers at the memory of needle-like stingers poking into his arms and ears. "Right as the tree toppled over, we ran back inside in time to watch the nest burst open and a swarm of angry wasps came barreling down on us."

"Luckily we were fine and we weren't allergic to bee stings, but it still hurt. The point is: we know what we're doing."

The twins and frat bros work side by side. Their strategy is to do the task separately and when one team is done, they help the other complete the challenge. "We're doing great, man," Jasper pants. "I can only imagine we're gonna get buff after this."

"I know!" Mitch says. "I can already feel my biceps getting stronger." His arms felt tingly from the uniform back-and-forth motion. They slump after they complete their first cut. Wooden chips lie at their feet, swirling in the wind.

The sound of two thumps on the ground fills the landscape. "Done!" Angie claims. "Now how are we going to get these to the checkpoint?" As they witness, Jon & Devon cut faster, causing the girls to panic.

"I have an idea," Jen says. She tilts the three pieces onto their sides and starts rolling one of them towards the highway.

"Good thinking, Jen." Angie assists with the other two pieces. Each girl rolls one pieces themselves and they help each other with the last one in the middle. About 100 feet down the shore, another more frantic set of footsteps fall in line behind them.

They turn to see Dev & Jon rolling their log pieces, but at a faster pace, catching up fast. "Shit," Angie curses to herself. "We'll have to run for it." Jen starts picking up the pace as well, her feet slapping the ground in step with Angie.

Jon can see the sorority girls up ahead; the only team coming between him and first place. "Faster, Dev, faster!" the husky urges. The boys push themselves further, practically leaping from one spot to the next as they inch their way closer to the girls ahead of them.

The checkpoint begins to shape in front of them. Toner stands, looking tired, next to the rug, holding a steaming cup of what is assumed to be coffee. He steps out of the way in time for the sorority sisters to step onto the carpet. "Ladies, congratulations on coming in first. Which means that the prostitutes will have no choice but to come in second."

Angie & Jen whoop and hug each other. Dev & Jon make it to the carpet as well with the latter of the two looking to Toner. Sighing, annoyed, Toner says, "No, you two do not have a penalty."

That was all Jon wanted to hear.

***

The race for first is done. But the race to avoid elimination starts with the three remaining teams at WinStar; the humans, daters, and officers. Will one of these teams be the next to leave the race?

It takes a while for Syd to get the hand of holding a putter, but he eventually gains more control of the ball and where it's going. Without too much force, Syd putts the ball directly into the hole. "Finally," he says under his breath.

"About time," Brent says. "My mother can do real golf faster than you." He runs out with an irritated Syd.

Judy eventually learns to control the club long enough to make a shot. With Nick counting, she probably made about fifteen shots total compared to the dozens that the other teams made. The rabbit finally makes it into the hole on her sixteenth try. "That is harder than it looks," she says.

"You might want to bulk up when we get home." Nick prodes her in the arms and follows her outside.

"Will you hurry up?" Ryan asks. "We're in last place if you haven't noticed."

"I. Am. Trying!" Josee growls. The problem with her strategy is that she plays too aggressively. She grips her club too hard and hits with too much force. So the ball slightly lifts into the air and flies past the hole where she needs it to go.

Back at Leeper Lake, some of the teams are finishing up. But as for the ones just arriving, it'll be a tough challenge catching back up. Brent notices how the graduates are nearly done. He balls his fists up at the sight of Mabel and her jet black fur. Syd pulls him back into focus.

"Finished," Chris says. "Now help me get these pieces over to the checkpoint."

"No problem," Zack says. Him and Chris use the same strategy he saw Angie and Jen use; tilt the wheels on their side and roll them down the lake.

The bakers and drivers work in separate areas thanks to Vito and Hans' quick thinking. "I still don't understand why you think it's okay to work away from our partners?" Claudia asks hers as she moves the saw back and forth.

"I just thought you and I could use some alone time," Hans says as an excuse. Vito is using the same one for his partner. "I just feel like we don't really get to talk to each other that much anymore."

"Aww. I'm sorry you feel that way." Claudia pats him on the shoulder in a friendly manner. Hans thinks she's about to say something nice when she says, "Get back to cutting!" He fumbles his paws for the handle and resumes sawing the logs in half.

Two pairs of feet step onto the carpet at the checkpoint, trisected log in paws. "Vegetarians come in third," Toner announces. Joey & Miles hug.

The frat bros and twins finish as well, taking turns rolling each others' pieces down the shore of the lake. Sindy & Sally have some trouble getting in sync with the cutting. Jack takes notice. Him and Maria walks over to them and they take a position on the either side. "Here, we'll help," Maria says.

Her and Jack place their paws on either handle of the blade and they slowly begin cutting back and forth. The vixen catch on and join in. The experts take their paws off. To Sindy's surprise, the vixen continue the cutting motion as if Jack & Maria hadn't taken their paws off. "Wow," she says. "Thanks guys."

"Hey, we're a team now," Jack says. It felt good for him to help the others. Perhaps karma will pay them back somehow.

Chris & Zack reach the checkpoint on time. "Fourth place," the host says/laughs. "This is really funny right here. You boys haven't come in anything but 4th in over 13 legs of this race!" Toner laughs a little more until Chris kicks him in the shin. "Ow!! Darn it! That was my favorite foot, too!"

Kit & Kitty- 5th place

Jasper & Mitch- 6th place

Tammy & Rachel- 7th place

Barbara & Eddy- 8th place

Cal & Ren- 9th place

Josee & Ryan eventually make it to the One-Way challenge. Although far behind, they quickly put aside their differences to come up with a strategy. "Fast as we can, Ry. Let's show these teams what we've got."

The fire lit under them prompts them to start off cutting fast. It doesn't get them far so they take it down a notch.

Claudia helps her partner get the pieces onto its side. "We're done," she gasps. "A little help here?" Hans offers her a paw and looks back at Vito, winking in a secret signal. The cats roll off with their pieces.

Vito takes the hint from Hans to slow down a little. Not enough to get eliminated. But enough to bump them down a place or two. He winces and takes his paw off the handle. "What's wrong?" Donna asks. "What're you crying about?"

"I got a splinter." Vito sucks on his thumb, trying to sell the lie more. Donna rolls her eyes.

It's a close race between the humans and graduates. But the graduates finish before them. Distracted, Brent cuts out of sync with Syd and they have to stop. "What is your problem?" Syd asks. Then adds, "This time?"

"Duh, we're still losing. Are you not paying attention right now?" Brent nudges Syd to get back to sawing. As much as he would like to slap Brent across the face, he grabs the saw and resumes their cutting.

Thanks to the movie experts' advice, Sindy & Sally surprisingly finish before them. Sally wipes her forehead clean of sweat. "That was quicker than I thought," she says. "We really zipped through the second cut without thinking much about it."

Sindy nods. "Do you think we should stay behind and help them finish the task too?"

The vixens look over at the experts, whom are nearly done. Maria catches their eye. "Go on without us," she insists. "We'll catch back up."

There wasn't very many teams left at the lake. But that in itself was enough of a reason to keep moving. Sindy helps Sally tilts the log pieces onto their sides so they can roll them.

Toner finishes his third cup of caffeinated coffee by the time the next team arrives. "You're team number ten," he says to the bakers. Claudia & Hans jump for joy and hug each other. Yes, they're at a low rank but they're slowly catching back up. Soon, they'll be in the lead and nothing will come in the way between her and finally winning the race.

June & Mabel- 11th place

Donna & Vito- 12th place

Brent & Syd- 13th place

Sindy & Sally- 14th place

Despite smaller arms, it doesn't take much to keep the log pieces in motion for the officers. And soon they pass by the carpet and claim the fifteenth spot. The true race to not come in last comes down to the movie experts and the daters.

Jack & Maria have their trisected pieces already tilted to their sides and they start rolling. Josee & Ryan however are not far behind. "I love racing with you Maria," Jack confesses as they run towards the checkpoint. His paws ache from the sawing and the splinters he got from the logs.

"Same to you Jack," Maria replies. "When we win this thing, I want us to have a life together. Just you and me."

"You do?" Jack blushes with a surprised look on his face.

"Yes! I must admit Jack, I've sort of had a small crush on you since Freshman year of high school. I cannot help it; you're very fun to be around and an all-around very swell guy. What do you say?"

"I say you're a great friend too, Maria. And I kind of like you as well. Very sweet of you to tell me this." They both hear the sound of Josee urging Ryan to run faster. Sure enough, one glance over their shoulders show the tigress and wolf ganging up on them. Too fast. "How are they so fast?!"

"I don't know!" Maria says worriedly.

Toner stand at the checkpoint with Quentin, a coyote with bright purple fur. They were talking about some other reality show that Mr. Milton also manages when they spot the teams coming up on them fast. "This is my favorite part of my job," he explains. One of the last teams jumps onto the carpet as if their life depended on it. "16th place; you're still in the race."

Josee hugs Ryan tight, nearly cutting off his breath, as she exhales heavily in relief. "That was too close," she says to him. The tigress carries her partner off the carpet.

The movie experts finally arrive. "Does that mean we're out?" Jack asks.

"Afraid so," Toner says. "But look on the bright side...." The experts perk up, hoping to hear that it's a non-elimination challenge. "... Psych! There is no bright side. Now go home." The bear and hound dog walk away in disappointment.

***

"I guess we were never meant to win the race," Jack says. "But it was fun while it lasted; visiting old ruins, running through the park, getting to watch my friend play golf. It was very exciting."

"Too bad we had such a short experience," Maria says. "And what sucks even more is now the phone operators are now without an ally." She laughs. "I guess history does repeat itself. Our downfall every time is teaming up with someone else. I hope that Angie & Jennifer get to win this year."

"Same." Jack wraps an arm around her shoulder. "You know, there's a Resident Evil movie marathon coming up on television soon. Want to watch?"

"Yes! Just no buttered popcorn like last time. That was disgusting."

"Fine," the bear groans.
