Night Sky
[I kno this isnt an actual full story, but It is gonna be a part of an upcoming story my mate and I are writing so basicly this is an excerpt lol]
Night Sky
I walk outside on this bitter cold night
feeling the wind breeze through my fingertips.
Slowly inhaling the crisp cool air
and then exhaling watching my warm breath
billow out from between my lips,
into steam clouds in front of my face.
I look up and notice
That the stars stand out more than they usually do,
Each with their own gleam and twinkle.
A smirk slowly creeps across my face
as I realize that this night,
reminds me of a special night.
One that had the same exsact kind of stars,
With the same gleam and twinkle.
Except I shared it with two special people,
that I hold near and dear to my heart.
We sat by the fire all three of us,
knocking back a couple of beers.
Talking about how you and I,
will take care of eachother no matter what.
I look down at my hand,
my fingers intertwined with yours.
I chuckle a little
as I look at the badly drawn teddy bear I drew on your hand.
Smiling knowing the badly drawn babydoll on mine.
I sigh and look at you smiling,
knowing that this.
This place
This Family
This Home
You
are the the things that make me TRUELY happy.
