Two released pokémon find each other in the wilderness and decide to keep each other company. I hope you like it.

With the last sparkles of the sun hiding behind the distant mountains, a Zoroark made his way through the bushes. The sounds of the night already creeping in, giving the twilight a phantasmagorical feeling way before the most recognizable stars sparkled on the night sky. "Whew... I guess I will have to spend the night out here..." the Zoroark climbed up a tree, huddling himself to feel more comfortable on the small space. "I wonder what is Zoke doing now... maybe much better since he found the Zorua with the nature he wanted..." he still couldn't get over being released over a Timid Zorua. "Screw him... he doesn't need me, I don't need him anymore... it's time I forget the name he gave me... Zor... how creative of him" He sighed, turning his sight to the moon rising above on the night sky. "It's not fair... maybe if I had been shiny... maybe he would have kept me." He shook his head, his eyes transfixed on the bright, full moon. "Nah forget about that... he's not worth it." A soft wind rustled his fur, the sky was getting darker very quickly, it was still too early to sleep but he didn't feel safe wandering around the woods alone at night. "Even though it's been a few days... I wouldn't want to bump on a trainer at these hours... or worse, a wild pokemon way too strong.

"I suppose I will just wait for the sleep to pull me in." He thought, staring at the stars. But as he perused the night sky, his ears instictively stood upright as he heard rustling somewhere among the trees. "Must be a pokemon... those footsteps sound way too light to be a trainer." He though as he searched under the canopy of leaves for the source of the noise. Cutting through the shade he noticed a dim glow, and before his eyes a Delphox walked through the trees holding a wand with the tip lit on fire. "Oh... I've never seen a Pokemon like that before... it definitely stands out from most of the ones I've seen." He quietly watched as the Delphox passed under the tree he was perched on, but as soon as the Delphox walked under the tree, he abruptly stopped in his tracks. His ears standing upright like Zor's. "I can hear someone breathing around here..." the Delphox's voice had a sultry tone that made Zor feel warmth invade his body, yet it sounded a bit comanding and deep. "Uh... fine senses you have." Zor replied as he jumped from down the tree, the Delphox jumped back, holding his wand as if about to launch an attack. "Well well... if you could understand me human... you're obviously not a human. You cannot fool me... reveal yourself!" the Delphox cried, menacingly pointing his wand at Zor. "Uh... sorry guess I inadvertently showed you one of my illusions." Zor shrugged, the Delphox still holding his wand defensively "Heh... a Zoroark... I was hoping you were a Ditto. It would have made everything easier." Zor shook his head, and held out his paws reassuringly. "Look, I am not looking for a fight. I was just resting up there when you came around. How about you go with your business and I go back up the tree?" The Delphox lowered his wand slightly, "Heh... sounds good but how can I trust a Dark individual such as yourself? You even cast an illusion looking like a trainer! You're full of deceit and lies!" Zor stepped back slightly, shaking his head "Look I'm not lying, I just want to spend the night in these woods and by early morning I will go. Promise." he said, still holding both of his paws up.

"Hmmm... I guess I can let you go then..." the Delphox grumbled, lowering his wand and glancing aside. "But before you go... was that illusion you cast your former trainer?" the Delphox looked at the floor, holding his wand with both paws. Zor raised an eyebrow, and replied "I suppose... I wasn't aware I was pretending to be him... what did I look like?" the Delphox fixed his fiery eyes on Zor's eyes, "Mmmm... I'd say you looked slender... slightly dark skin... green eyes..." Zor sighed again "Yeah it was him alright... but I didn't intend to fool you or anything... that was subconsciously done." the Delphox smiled at Zor, "You miss him? I still remember my trainer too... she released me when she found out she couldn't keep battling with me." Zor glanced aside, "I'm sorry.. have you been alone in these woods for long?" Zor stepped slightly closer, afraid of startling him. "Not long... but quite some time. You're the first released Pokémon I've found around these parts." Zor dared another step forward, still not getting any reaction so he asked the Delphox "And may I know your name? Mine's Zor..." the Delphox smiled and this time he took a step closer to Zor "Mine is Charon." Zor smiled back at Charon "That is a beautiful name... mine is just my species shortened..." Charon gestured in front of him "Would you like to go to my den? It's better than sleeping out here alone." Zor shrugged "Uh well.. I've just met you and it will be awkward... but it's safer for both of us to have some company so why not?"
