The Zootopian Experiment Chapter 7

(Nick Wilde)

It was early the next morning, just a little tired after the lunch with my mother. So I decided to get some coffee for me and Carrots, while just running about 5 minutes late for work. When I finally got to the precinct, their Clawhauser said, " I don't know what you did, but it seems that Chief Bogo will be getting a fox skin rug, when he is done with you. You might not want to go to roll call today." I answered thinking that Clawhauser was just being overdramatic, "don't worry, what ever he is mad about, I can explain myself. I can get myself out of any situation." As I made, my way towards the bullpen, thinking that Clawhauser just needs to learn to have more faith in my abilities.

When I got to the bullpen I saw the other officers leaving heading to their assignment. When I stepped in Chief Bogo saw me and yelled, " Wilde, why are you here? I would assume you would just report to your new precinct, precinct 34 in the middle of Tundra, parking duty doesn't do itself." In shock Carrots who is usually last to leave a briefing asked, "Sir what did Officer Wilde do to be reassiegned to Tundra." Then Chief Bogo answered, " I need to perform my part of the promise. Wilde did not turn in a report about that human case." I realized that, though I finished I completely forgot to file it. I answered, "sir I have it done, I just need to file it."

Chief Bogo did not pay attention, he just walked off and said, "you better report for your new station." He was gone before I could say anything, probably for the best, I was mad and I would make it known. When I started thinking what I could do, I saw Carrots just staring at me. It was obvious with her eyes, that she was even more shocked than me, she asked, "what know? How can we help the humans with you being a meter maid, and me on patrol." I told her, "I don't think we can, I would talk to him, but I don't believe I would be able to get out of this."

(Judy Hopps)

While Nick left I decided to talk, to Chief Bogo but before I before I could get to his office. Clawhauser came to me saying, "Judy, Chief Bogo made it clear, he does not want to you at this moment." I was confused, so I asked, " why doesn't he want to see me, what is going on?" Clawhauser just said, "Chief Bogo, is just worrying about running to precinct. Consider talking to him later."

I did not quit visiting the humans, they started growing snouts and tails. It was about three weeks after Nick was moved to a new precinct. On my lunch break I decided to visit the humans, they started warming up, yet still hating any idea of them not going home. All of a sudden Gillesbie started to grab his chest in great pain, Newbie helped his friend up, while I was getting Doctor Langu. When I got Doctor Lango, we rushed back into the room, Doctor Lango checked him and said, "help get him into the examination room, it's on the other end of the hall."

Their me and Doctor Langu helped him into the examination room, after my shift Doctor Langu came to me and Newbie and told us, "his blood type has changed to a fox's blood type, the problem is his kidneys are resistant to the changes. I will need to replace his kidney's with a fox's kidney, unfortunately the fox's kidney waiting list is really long." I asked, "do you need me to get a fox." Their Doctor Langu answered, "if you can find a fox willing to donate a kidney, that would be underfull. Also before I forget, Newbie your changes are slower so we have time, but I placed you on the lion's kidney waiting list, luckily that list is shorter.

I left the hospital, hoping that I could convince Nick to donate a Kidney. I started to call Chief Bogo, because Nick was just starting his shift, and Chief Bogo could order Nick's colonial to release him. As I called Chief Bogo, "Chief Bogo I need your help." Their he answered, "Hopps, this better not be about officer Wilde." I answered, "sir, one of the humans need a fox kidney, and nick seemed like a possibility, especially since the fox's kidney waiting list is so long." Chief Bogo said, "good luck getting him to agree to donating a kidney. If you think you can convince officer Wilde, I will tell Wilde's supervisor, to release him from for duty for however long as the doctor keeps him in.
