#1 of Star Fox: The unexpected mission

First I will say that I am sorry for having all of you wait this long for my new updates. College exams were going on, and I had to make them my first priority before I could do anything else. With that being said, I am proud to announce that I am launching another chapter for Star Fox. On my next update, I will make sure to upload twice the stories so I can make up for lost time. Happy Holidays everyone, and enjoy your new installment!

Chapter 10: The Plot For Revenge.

====================================

0-Recap-0

In our last chapter of Star Fox, our hero has set out on a mission to bring down the Sharp Claw, and have them perform a task. Fox, along with his trusty partner Kei, has flawlessly brought the pirates to their knees. All that remained, is what Fox wanted to do with them. Is Fox about to put his plans for revenge in action? Only time, will tell.

====================================

The Scale King sat at a steel round table across from the white fox, waiting for what terms and conditions he must follow. They decided to have their discussion here, since the white fox did not want to share his plans with everyone else yet. The fuzzy white one that we all know as Fox, was sitting with his fingers crossed, and a look of wickedness plastered on his face.

"So....as promised, we must do what you ask..we cannot go against our word, since I have lost a duel against you." Scale King spoke calmly. It turns out he calmed down after all that is happened. Probably because he realized there was no point in trying to rebel right now.

Fox's tail moved gently, swaying back and fourth in the air, while he begins to speak. "You see, Kingy...I have the perfect task for you..I hear that you and your lackeys love to violate your prisoners, am I right? And gender means nothing to you either." Fox asked with a smirk.

"Damn right we do." Scale King pounded the table proudly. "Anyone who tries to resist us will be taken, and we will make their lives a living hell. We all have our sexual needs to you know." The Scale King added.

"Well...how would you like it, if you could violate two ace pilots from two elite teams?" Fox couldn't help but laugh on the inside, when he saw the Scale King's face light up brighter than the sun.

"You have no idea how I would love that!" The Scale King shouted, while he pounded the table. "Wait...which members did you have in mind?" He didn't want to get his hopes high.

"Well, Fox seems to be out of reach right now, but I can easily get Falco, and Wolf on your ship--" Fox was cut off by Scale King's laughter.

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Are you kidding me?!" Scale King was laughing so hard, he fell out of his chair. "AHAHAHAHAHA!! Oh god, that was rich!" It took about five minutes to finally get all of his laughter out, then he got back up, and sat down on the table wiping a tear away from his eye. "Stop fucking around! There is no way YOU can get those two pilots on this ship! There has not been a single air force that took them on, and bragged about actually defeating them in air combat! What makes you think a young pilot like you can take them down? Falco, AND Wolf? Get real with me here!" The Scale King asked, while he still let out a snicker every now and then.

"Um...first of all, it's not that funny. Second, I was able to best you in combat, and take over this entire ship in less than ten minutes. If you think I am good on foot, you should see how I am in the air." Fox looked right into the King's eyes while he spoke. "I may not look like much, but you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover."

"Hmm..." Scale King thought about it for a moment, and all the humor died right when he made that statement. "Fine...but my only question is, how do you even plan on getting them on our ship? Especially since you and your hyper active friend completely trashed it." Scale King asked.

"Heh. It's very simple. All you have to do is....." Fox tells the Scale King his plans, and how they should carry them out.

Falco was sitting in the command room, going through the various missions and bounties that the team can take. Unlike Star Wolf, who takes illegal missions, Star Fox has always taken missions that are legit, and come with a fair price. So far, Falco is seeing plenty of missions that the ELDF can easily handle without their assistance, and not one of em looked interesting enough for him to bother with it. The mechanical door made it's hissing sound once it opened, and slippy walked into the room, to check on Falco's status.

"Man, it has been less active since Fox's retirement. I really miss him." Slippy spoke, while he set down a card board box containing all kinds of gadgets he could mess with.

"Yeah...Fox was pretty much the face of this whole team. I don't know if he ever will come back but...I would hope that he does." Falco closed his eyes and shook his head for a minute. "Maybe it was wrong of me to do THAT...to him." Falco said in his mind, now in deep thought over that event. His thoughts were interrupted, when the computer made a beeping sound, and the screen read in red letters: "New message from an unknown source."

"Hm? What is this?" Falco inputs the commands so that he may read his letter.

"Sheesh...I always wanted to take Fox down, but even I will admit that was not how I wanted to get it done." Wolf sat back in his chair, putting his feet on his computer desk, while he placed his claws behind his head. "Things has been really boring without Fox getting on my case about the way I do things..."

Wolf was currently letting his computer scan for any illegal missions or bounties that he could take in. "Leon and Pigma are out on a mission, and the only thing left to do here, is to find one suited enough for me...my time killer was to challenge Fox, and have a good ol dog fight. I mean, who would have thought that my actions would make things this boring.."

Then, his computer made a small alarm sound, to notify Wolf that he has a new message. "Hm? I hadn't got any mail in a while...wait a tic? Unknown source?" He inputs the commands, and once the letter is opened, he begins to read it. Little did he know, Falco was reading his letter right at this moment.

Dear, Legendary Pilot

I am challenging you to a dog fight, to prove that I am the better pilot than you will ever be. I am known as the Phantom Kitsune. And I shall blast away your pride, with every shot that I land on your ship. If you think you have the balls to prove me wrong and if you believe that you are the best, then come to the spacious area located near planet Kew, at exactly 2:00 PM. You are to come alone, and bring absolutely no one with you. If you dare to come with an ally of any kind, I will not appear, and the challenge will be void. If your balls has not dropped yet and decide not to take part in this, I understand. But it will be known that everyone in the Lylat system, will know how much of a coward you really are.

See you on the battle field,

Phantom Kitsune.

"A dog fight huh...?" Wolf looked up at the ceiling, debating on weather or not he should go. A few minutes later, he opened up a communication link to speak with Leon and Pigma. "Guys, I have got a special solo mission..."

"So are you going Falco? This could be a trap you know. Shoot, it even sounds like one." Slippy asked, while he followed Falco to the hagar.

"Yeah. Even if it is a trap, I've been in tighter situations before." Falco said with his cocky grin. "Literally..." He said that last part in his mind, while he checked on his Arwing for anything he would need to touch up on.

"I don't know Falco...I don't think this is such a good idea. I've got a bad feeling about this." Slippy tried to tell him.

"Relax. If this was Fox, he would have accepted the challenge, no matter how dangerous it is. Have a little faith in me, would ya?" Falco gave a thumbs up, while he hopped into his arwing. "All systems are in working order..." Falco spoke, while the large doors begin to open up, allowing Falco to enter the vast wonders of space.

"Everything is ready to go." Wolf starts up his wolven, the humming sound from the engines growing heavier by the second, and the wolven slightly begins to hover off the ground, while the landing gear withdraws itself.

"Clear for take off!" Falco called out, while he counted down for the launch. "In 3..."

"2..." Wolf was counting down as well.

"1..." Falco prepares the thrusters.

"Move out!" Falco and Wolf said at the exact same time, though both of the pilots are unaware of that. The two fly off into space, heading over to the designated area for combat.

It didn't take long for both of the pilots to arrive at the rendezvous point. When Falco and Wolf noticed each other, the two of them halted their fighter jets, and opened up a communication link with each other.

"Wolf?" Falco asked. "What are you doing here? I hope your not trying to cause any trouble.."

"Please. I don't have any time to waste on you. My main focus right now is on the piolot who challenged me. It told me that this is the meeting spot." Wolf explained.

"What? Wait a minute, does this pilot call himself the Phantom Kitsune?" Falco asked him.

"Yeah...how did you know that?" Wolf was preparing his weapons, feeling the need to act on the defensive.

"Because that same pilot told me to come here! It said that it wanted to challenge me, at this exact time AND place!" Falco told him.

"So...what I can't figure out is why he have us both come here at the same time..." Wolf was still on the defensive. "Something doesn't add up here.."

Falco was about to reply, when a black fighter jet that looked similar to an Air Wing made it's appearance. "Greetings Pilots....I am glad the two of you have decided to accept my challenge."

"Alright you phantom freak! Show your face right now, so I can get a good look at who's getting owned in a few minutes!" Wolf demanded.

"My my...someone wants to get their ass kicked already. Fine." A communication link was made between the ships. It showed someone wearing some kind of black cloak, and a black helmet over his face. The helmet covered everything except for the muzzle, and it was shaped to look like a fox's head.

"Alright pal. What I need for you to do, is to stall them long enough so that I can hack into their fighter jets." Kei spoke to Fox through a communication frequency that only they could use. "I'm in the process of breaking down the security protocols right now. So just hold out until then." With that being said, Kei begins to type like he's never typed before. He was working within his most prized possession, the Shinobi. "Oh, and do be careful of their fire power. I may be hidden, but that does not mean I am invincible to hits." Kei added the last part, before he broke communication, and got to work.

0~Back on the Battle Field~0

"Take off your mask too!" Wolf demanded, slamming his fist on the controls of his wolven.

"Calm down, little puppy. I will only remove my mask if you manage to defeat me...which will not happen." Phantom gave a smirk.

"Can I ask....why did you call us both here?" Falco spoke up for the first time.

"I am glad you brought that up, Falco." Phantom smiled while he begins to explain. "The reason why I called you both here, is so I may challenge the both of you at the same time. Why take down one good piolot, when I can take down two and gain twice the glory?" Phantom laughed triumphantly.

"Someone's a greedy bastard. You might want to shape up or your greed will eat you alive." Wolf gave a scowl at Phantom and folded his arms.

"Ha. You will be the one who will be eaten alive. Now then, let me give you some guidelines on this fight." Phantom explained. "The both of you are fighting against me. If I damage your fighter jets to the point that they can no longer function, then I win the battle. The same thing applies to you if my jet is damaged to the point that I cannot fight."

"Well, that just makes it a whole lot easier. We could just double team until you submit." Falco laughed, but Phantom was ready to steal his joy.

"Not so fast Falco. Though it is true that you can double team me, the piolot who deals the final shot that will incapitate me, shall claim all the credit in defeating me. The one who didn't will only recive part of the credit and will be labeled as the side kick." Phantom smirked, knowing that he's struck a cord into Falco's and Wolf's ego. To make matters worst for them, he included his next set of words. "Both of you are representing two powerful teams. Can either one of you live as being called the side kick team? Or the team that will take all the glory? So, you can still double team if you want. But it all comes down to who seals my fate and claim victory."

With those words being said, Phantom can easily sense the tension that was rising between Falco and Wolf. Their original plan was to double team him...but with that being said, who would want to do that now?

"So, any questions before we begin our battle?" Phantom asked with that smirk still on his face. "I take it your silence means you are ready. Then lets not delay this no longer." With that being said, Phantom begins to activate his thrusters. Falco and Wolf activated theirs as well and before either of em knew it, the dog fight began.

"That was good stalling, Fox." Kei said through Phantom's communicator. "I've almost finished hacking their systems. Just stall them a bit longer and they will be captured." Kei reported, while he was still typing like crazy.

The three skilled pilots were going at it now. The idea of Falco and Wolf trying to team up on Phantom was completely out of the question. When the opportunity calls for it, Falco and Wolf would try and shoot each other down, and claiming their shots as "accidental." But the two of they both knew that they were full of bull.

"I got a lock on now...." Wolf thought in his mind while he zoomed in on Phantom. "Your mine, Phantom!" Wolf fired a charged homing shot at Phantom's jet. It looked like Wolf had this in the bag, but Phantom somehow dodged that shot with a barrel roll. Before he knew it, Phantom was already behind Wolf. "What the?! That should have hit! And he got behind me?! Wait a minute....where have I seen that kind of maneuver...it is very familiar." Then Wolf shook his head. "That does not matter! He's on my tail now. I have to shake him off!"

Falco was now closing in behind Phantom's ship, and had a bomb ready for him. He didn't even care if Wolf was right there. "Heh, time to take down the both of you in one shot." Falco smirked while he prepared to fire.

"Wait a minute...Falco is behind the Phantom. And knowing Falco.....crap! He's going to do it!" After countless battles against the Star Fox team, Wolf knew what Falco was going to do. If that is about to happen, he had to get out of the blast raidus right now. "Falco, you idiot! Don't you dare fire that bomb!" Wolf yelled through the communicator.

"Asta la vista, puppy!" Falco fired his bomb at the Phantom, who was closely tailing after Wolf.

Phantom performed the same maneuver on Falco. Only instead of flying behind Falco, he vanished from both of their sights. Wolf on the other hand was suffering from the blast radius of the bomb.

"Dammit Falco! Remind me to shoot you down for that!" Wolf snarled while he scanned around for Phantom's fighter jet. "Now thanks to your brilliant idea, we lost our target!"

"Oh don't get pissy with me. We'll easily find him." Falco told him while he checked his scanner for any signs of the Phantom.

"Alright Fox. I'm already for the plan to commence." Kei told him.

"Good. Disable their weapons, bring them to the Scale King's ship hanger, and shut down their power." Phantom ordered.

"Roger that!" Kei replied in a cheery tone, before carrying out Phantom's orders.

"H-Hey! What is going on here!?" Falco tries to gain better control over his arwing, but it just wouldn't obey him. "My arwing suddenly gained a mind of it's own!"

"You can say that again..this wolven isn't responding to my commands at all..and it's really ticking me off!" Wolf growled while his wolven refused to work with him. Both pilots were soon being guided out of the battle area that they were fighting in. "And where the hell is Phantom? He just vanished right when things became screwy around here."

"Wolf....we're being directed towards a ship." Falco finally stopped struggling with the controls.

"I don't know if this is Phantom's doing, but I want answers NOW." Wolf demanded, while both the arwing, and the wolven were brought inside of a damaged battle ship.

Once they were brought inside of the hagar, the wolven and the arwing were immediately powered down to the point that they were not operating. Falco and Wolf tried to turn them back on, but they had a lock placed on their systems. As long as that lock is there, it cannot activate. The cockpits opened up, and the two elite pilots got out of their ships. Both of them wondering what the heck was going on.

"Hey Wolf...what is that smell? It's kind of funky and...I'm getting drowsy from it." Falco was swaying back and fourth while he tried to fight the urge to fall asleep.

"I don't know but...the same is happening to..." Wolf fell flat on the ground, and went right to sleep. Falco fell shortly after he did. Before he could fully black out, he heard a familiar voice.

"Quick. Tie them up, and get them prepared. I'd like to have a word with them, alone." All Falco could see was a pair of boots that looked similar to Fox's...but there was a white tail when he saw him walk away. It sounded like Fox..but was it Fox? Soon, he blacked out right there on the ground, as a group of space pirates surrounded them.

====================================

Well people, it is almost time. Fox is about to get his revenge that he's been planning for. What does Fox have in store for Falco and Wolf? Wait around until the next installment, and I will see you guys til then!
