Hey guys, this is a story I wrote, (duh...) hope you like it. As always, please let me know any tips you have. If you liked it, If you hated it, or whatever.

It's a modern Day story about a young she-fox and a young he-wolf named Scrapiron Filtch. Next time we will see a little bit into scraps past, as well as how Natasha's Family react to what happened here.

Scrapiron Filtch,

Chapter

"He should be here by now!" Natasha, a red fox said as she paced nervously around the kitchen. "Relax, kitten." Martha, her mother tried to reassure her. "Traffic was probably bad downtown, it's not that unusual."

"I'm going to send him another message."

"Natasha, he's fine!"

"Sorry, it's just, I've been so worried ever since those two thugs were getting after him."

"Kit, your Mr. Filtch is perfectly capable of dealing with thugs."

Right at that moment a knock came from the front door. Natasha ran to open it. When she did a large male grey wolf stepped in from the rain. "Sorry I'm late," he said. "Everyone is driving super slow because of all the rain, I had to take the back roads."

"Scrap!" Natasha cried as she jumped up hugging him tight around the neck, "I was so worried, I thought those bears came back and-"

"Haha, not to worry Nat, even if they had come they couldn't stop

me from coming to you." Scrapiron replied with a roguish grin. Natasha nuzzled her face against his neck. Wet as it was

"Alright, well you young rips better get a move on unless you were planning to stand in the doorway instead of going out." Martha said to them both.

"So, where are we going?" Natasha asked Scrap as she got into his car.

"Well, my original plan was to go by the river but..." he gestured to the rain beating down mercilessly on the windshield, "I'm thinking a change of plans may be required. Any ideas?"

"Well, there is a nice restaurant down fourth street, The Green Eagle? Ever heard of it?" Natasha asked.

"Nope, Green Eagle eh? Strange name, lets check it out!"

After a good meal and conversation, the two of them got back in the vehicle to go to some other undetermined location.

"Nice place, but expensive as scat!" Scrapiron swore.

"Might have seemed more worth it if you didn't wolf it down like you did." Natasha chuckled.

"Speciest!" Scrap teased as he started the car. "Never thought I would be in the company of someone who thought just because I'm a wolf means I eat fast!" He said with his paw extended, his face full of mock emotion! "Someone who thinks just cause he is a wolf means he can't fly like a bird, or that a tiger can't run as fast as a cheetah! Or-"

"Stop it!" Natasha gave him a playful shove, "You did eat it fast!" She stopped as she noticed that Scrap had frozen stock still starring out the window with a frightened look in his eye.

"Natasha," he said urgently, his voice barely above a whisper, "you are going to have to drive."

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I can't explain," he said as he slid into the back of the car, hiding behind the seat.

"But Scrap," Natasha whispered, "I can't drive standard!"

"Don't worry," Scrap replied, "Do you know which pedal is the clutch?"

"Yes"

"Just step on that gently when I tell you to. I'll use the shifter."

As they drove off Natasha noticed a black SUV following then. "Turn onto this alley." Scrap told her.

After they turned the SUV began following more aggressively.

"Darn, they must have seen me!"

As if to confirm this a voice from behind them shouted out, "Scrapiron, we know your in there! Stop playing around! We've got business to settle..."

"What's going on Scrap, why are they chasing us, I-I-I'm scared. What are they going to do?" Natasha asked Scrapiron tearfully.

"They are not going to do anything, because there not going to catch us! Let me drive." Scrap said as he climbed out from behind the seat.

"Come on out Scrapiron, we mean business! Unless you want the name Scrapiron to describe your remains!" The voice taunted.

"Idiot, that's not even remotely clever. Hold tight!" Scrap said to Natasha, "Don't worry about anything, we are going to be OK." With that he slammed the car into reverse, hitting the edge of the SUV And swerving back onto the main road. The SUV was quick to follow them. Forcing them into a parking lot across the street. Then it rammed into them smashing them into the front of a building. Glass from a display window tinkled to the ground. Scrap quickly sped off back into traffic. The SUV followed in hot pursuit. Bringing down a traffic light as it swerved out of the parking lot and into the street.

"Scrap! What's going on!?!" Natasha screamed. "I'm sorry I'm putting you through all this, I can't explain right now. I'm sorry." With that he accelerated, speeding forward towards a railway crossing.

"Scrap! The train!" Natasha screamed again. "I know!" Scrap shouted looking back at there pursuers, who where coming up fast, smashing cars who couldn't get out of the way fast enough. The bar came down closing off the crossing, but Scrap continued accelerating. A look of fierce determination on his face. Natasha's screams mingled with the sound of the trains horn. Then the car smashed through the guard bar. Only just missing getting ground to pieces by the train. The SUV had to stop, because it could no longer go around the train.

As they made there way back to Natasha's house. "Are you ok?" Scrap checked on Natasha, "I'm fine." Natasha replied "I'm sorry I brought you into this." Scrap said sorrowfully. "I will explain soon, please don't tell anyone what happened today."

"Ok, just promise me this."

"What's that?"

"That you will tell me everything."

Scrap looked in to the distance considering before answering. "Ok," he replied finally. "I promise."
