"Come on," Anmore growled, his tone low but certainly not level. His paw quivered as he pulled on the leash. "Come on, come on!"

The humanoid hound--his muzzle brown and black with speckles of white here and there, his large ears pulled back low against his head--tugged at the leash and looked at to where the length's collar rested around the neck of a hippogryph, a huge hybrid that at the moment shied away from his smaller master. Anmore bared his teeth and tugged again, harder and rougher this time. This time the hippogryph lurch forward, his large, eaglelike head staring downcast at the ground. Anmore growled and pulled lightly and the hippogryph came forward with no resistance this time. The hound's anger diminished slightly, though it felt as if his veins still boiled.

"Come on, Thidrek," he said, turning his back to the creature. He muttered his next words, low so that those around him at the fair wouldn't hear, though he knew the Thidrek and his sharp hearing would. "Follow me, you stupid, skittish beast..."

He walked and the hippogriff followed. Their path was rarely impeded, the other attendees of the breeding fair giving the hound and his hippogriff no more than a passing glance as they stepped aside and continued to talk business. This was good. Last time Anmore had gotten so angry he hadn't been able keep it in and there had been a scene. It had been embarrassing and it was all Thidrek's fault, it was always the hippogryph's fault, including this time. He shook his head and clenched his paws into fists. He pulled hard and he smiled slightly as he heard Thidrek let out a small shriek of surprise.

As Anmore and Thidrek moved farther through the fair, the weight in his pocket, or rather the lack of weight, became all the more obvious. The hound took a deep breath and smiled as he passed a pair of pretty dingo dames, a smile that quickly dropped as soon as he was out of their sight. His pockets should be heavy, jingling and clinking with coins but instead there was nothing in them, nothing because Thidrek had failed. Again.

Finally they had moved out of the crowd and drew near the outskirts of the fair. Anmore led Thidrek a little further still until they reached a line of rundown fence. He selected the stoutest post he could find and tied Thidrek's leash around it. Afterwards, he turned his back to the hippogryph, stepping a bit away until he had some distance from the beast. Then he swivelled around, his arms raised and snout set in a fierce frown.

"You stupid, useless..." he started to shout, but he just couldn't muster the volume. He was so disappointed and angry that it was hard to articulate both at once. Thidrek, however, seemed all too aware of his master's anger. He scratched at the ground with his avian foreclaws while his back hooves stomped uncertainty in the dust. He looked to the ground, not daring to meet his master's eyes.

"Thidrek!" Anmore spat, the hippogryph finally lifting his head to meet his master's eyes. "All you have to do is...is...it's easy!" The hound's paws dropped to his sides as they once again curled into fists. "I feed you well, I treat you well, and all you do is laze around all day and sometimes..." He laughed and shook his head. "All you have to do..." He laughed again in a baying sort of howl. "All you have to do is stick a mare with that big prick of yours and have some fun. That's it! Simple! Just some sex and yet..."

He stepped forward and pointed an accusatory finger at the hippogryph, a beast so much larger than he but so scared of him too. He growled. It was that damn skittishness that was the problem.

"And still you screwed it up!" Anmore laughed, hysterically this time. "You screwed up screwing."

Thidrek flapped his wings in discomfort. As always, Anmore wandered how much the beast really understood of what he was saying. His great uncle had always claimed the creatures were smarter than they let on. Maybe that was true of some, but the hound doubted it was true of Thidrek. How else would he have failed not once or twice, but thrice? The hound snarled at the thought, a deep growl growing in his throat.

"You're useless!" He barked. "Worthless! If you somehow figured out how to stick that dick of yours in something, your offspring would be as clueless as you anyways, you, you..."

His words devolved into a series of barks that he couldn't bite back even as embarrassing as it was. Thidrek shied away from the bestial barks, his head lowering in shame. Finally, Anmore clamped his muzzle shut and just stared at the hippogryph, the silence of his rage enough to keep the beast at bay.

"You've cost me so much," he murmured. "I'm meant to be great, the best, and you're holding me back!"

He shook his head and turned away from hippogryph. He froze, because in front of him stood someone, a feline in fine clothes that bore the smile of a panther but had the stripes of a tiger. He loomed over Anmore, though he was thinner than the hound and seemed to lack substance somehow. In one paw he held a feathered cap to his chest while the other one was tucked away in his pant's pocket. He looked down at Anmore and his smile broadened, his whiskers twitching. Anmore took a step back, a little uneasy. Not only was the feline's sudden appearance unsettling, but his appearance itself was unsettling. The stripes on his face were gone, though he could have sworn they were there a moment ago.

"Good afternoon, sir," the feline purred. "Is there a problem?"

Anmore blinked and shook his head, his anger fading away to embarrassment. His tail wagged nervously behind him.

"Oh that?" he said. "I apologize you had to see that outburst, I--"

The feline tilted his head.

"I mean..." Anmore mumbled. "Unless you didn't see that?"

"Your anger?" The feline shrugged. "Anger at a problem?"

Anmore nodded as he glanced over to his hippogryph. Thidrek stared squarely at the feline, looking even more nervous than when the hound had been barking at him.

"Yes," Anmore answered, looking back to the feline. "A very large problem."

"I see." The feline put on his hat and pulled at a whisker while digging in his pocket with his other paw.

After a moment, he produced something, a small card that he held out to Anmore. The hound stared at the outstretched hand, unsure what to do even as the feline gazed at him expectantly. Finally, he reached out and took the card and looked down at it. It read "PROBLEMS SOLVED" in bright red text. He turned it over but the other side was blank. He returned his gaze to the feline and found the same expectant stare in the cat's amber eyes.

"Your uncle was a fine client," the feline said, then tugged at a whisker and shook his head. "No, great-uncle." He grinned, his teeth showing, seemingly sharper than they should be. "Well?"

"Well what?" Anmore said. "What do you know about him?"

"He's the finest breeder in the land or..." The feline chuckled. "Was." He shook his head. "Terrible tragedy, unexpected but perhaps he had lived long enough, perhaps his time was...already up." He shrugged. "Still, he was good at keeping bargains so I solved his problems."

"What problems?"

"The same you might have. Belligerent beasts are such a bore." He nodded to Thidrek. "And anger is hardly productive." He leaned back on the fence, folding his arms across his chest. "Tell me, what is your greatest wish?"

"To be like him," Anmore said. "The greatest breeder in the land."

"Ah!" The feline's eyes were alight. "And that you can be, if it is what you truly desire."

"Yes," the hound nodded. "It's what I want, I wouldn't waste my time with this waste of space otherwise." He eyed the feline. "What are you offering?"

The feline looked away, staring off into the distance.

"To solve your problems," he said. "You can be what you wish through magical means."

"Magic?" he said. "But--"

The feline stared back at the hound and winked.

"No one would ever know. No one ever did with your uncle. I made sure of it."

Anmore considered. This was all so convenient...but his great-uncle had had friends in strange places. The only problem was his empty pockets.

'What's the price?" he said.

"Oh...nothing more than a signature. I still owe your great-uncle."

"Huh. And what would you do?"

"Solve your problems." The feline shrugged. "Nothing more, nothing less."

"Ok..." Anmore scratched an ear. "Where do I sign?"

The feline smiled again, and this time the hound swore he saw the stripes again and a sudden gleam to the cat's eyes.

"Not yet," the feline purred. "This is the right place or time. Perhaps we can meet somewhere more...private later?"

"Sure," the hound said, nodding. "Uh, I have a barn for Thid--my hippogryph. A family heirloom, just like him. It's--"

"I know where it is," the feline said, removing himself from the fence. He stood up straight and looked down at the hound once more, though Anmore hardly felt threatened. He only saw warmth in those eyes now and a promise of power. It was so tantalizing that he couldn't help but trust in it.

"Oh," he said. "Oh, then I...I'll see you there?"

The feline grinned and nodded.

*************

Anmore shivered as he stared outside of the barn. While Thidrek lay cooped up in his pen, fluffy and warm with his coating of feathers and fur, the hound was freezing in the late night chill. He had been waiting in the small barn since the sun had gone down and he hadn't thought to bring something warmer than what he had been wearing all day. He hadn't thought he would have to wait so long either, but the feline had yet to make an appearance. He vaguely wondered if the whole thing had been a prank or some sort of sick joke, but magic was no laughing matter. Neither did he want to leave for something warmer, because he didn't want to miss the feline's appearance. Still, every dog had his limit and Anmore had nearly reached his, especially since Thidrek was so comfortable and he wasn't. Worse, the hippogryph almost seemed smug about it.

"Smile all you want," he said to the hippogryph as he turned away from the barn's opening. "But remember you screwed up and--"

Something sounded across the barn's wooden floor. Anmore turned around and found the feline had arrived. His dress was no less casual than last time, but he now lacked footwear. Anmore stared at the feline's hooves, the reason why he had heard such a clatter in the first place. He blinked, wondering what the feline was. He had heard of halfbreeds, but never something such as this. Then again, it was no more strange than a hippogriff, a fusion of horse and bird. At least goats and cats had more in common.

The feline seemed to notice Anmore's stare and smiled almost apologetically. He tipped his hat, his hooves still ratting the boards as he walked closer still.

"A privilege of my parents," the feline explained. "I prefer to let them air at night."

Anmore nodded as if this was a perfectly reasonable explanation, and perhaps it was. If his uncle had dealt extensively with this man--and Anmore now knew he had thanks to a bit of research, some shuffling through old papers and photos where the cat had been visible in the background or mentioned off to the side casually as a feline accomplice from afar--then he could be trusted.

"Sorry," Anmore said, looking over as Thidrek stood at the cat's approach, his eyes fearful but then he was scared of everything. "Didn't mean to--"

The feline waved a paw. "Think nothing of it. Are you ready?"

Anmore nodded. Even if he didn't know the methods, he had to trust them just as his great-uncle no doubt had. The feline smiled, and produced a scroll from his pocket. He unfurled it and it rolled out into a sheet of parchment upon which was written many, many words in a spider handwriting. In another hand he held out a quill.

"Do you agree with what you see?"

Anmore stayed silent. The words seemed to crawl and shift constantly so he had a hard time concentrating on them. It made his mind hurt so much so that he closed his eyes and then reopened them after a moment. Then the words seemed to stay still, but they still made little sense.

"Umm..." He looked up at the feline. "I don't, I can't--"

"Oh, no matter," the cat purred. "Most of it is legalese, you know."

Anmore nodded as if he did.

"Really, most of it amounts to just four words."

"What's that?"

"Problems solved and wishes granted."

Anmore looked to Thidrek and nodded. Without hesitation he took the pen and brought it low.

"Oh!" The feline pointed to a space in the middle. "Sign here."

Anmore signed without hesitation.

Just as soon as the hound had pulled the quill away from the last line in his name, the scroll smoldered. He yelped in surprise and stepped back as the paper burst into flames, quickly burning into ashes that blew away with an errant breeze. He stared dumbstruck at the empty space the document had once occupied.

"Uh..." He looked to the feline uncertainly. It was when the cat smiled that he realized neither of them knew each other's name. Although he wasn't sure why that mattered, something needled at his mind. "Was this supposed to happen?"

"Oh yes," the feline said, rubbing his paws together. "But that's not the part that should scare you."

"What?"

The feline's eyes glowed, red now.

"Yes, Anmore," he said and snapped. "Wish granted."

Anmore fell forward onto his hands and knees, writhing. Whereas before he had felt chilled, his fit felt hot, hot, hot. He panted, tongue lolling out as he looked up at the feline uncomprehendingly.

"What?" He sputtered, his heart beating faster and faster and faster. Nearby he heard Thidrek squawk and flap his wings.

"Your uncle was naive too, but not as stupid as you. Fortunate for me that you are both."

Anmore scrabbled at the floor, his strength waxing and waning with each moment. He reached up to tug at his collar, to relive some of his heat and that was when his hand bent and cracked. He shrieked from surprise more than pain. He lifted his hand and started at it, whimpering as its fur began to fall out in heavy clumps. All that lay beneath was dark, scaly skin. Worse, his digits pushed together stretching thinner and thinner before they merged into three thicker shapes his claw lengthening into formidable talons. He flexed his altered hand, eyes wide as his fur shed on his wrist, shedding away to reveal similarly scaly skin. His talons felt unfamiliar and tense and yet there was something known about them.

Wanting to confront the feline that glowered over him, Anmore attempted to stand but only succeeded in scrabbling halfway up onto his feet before falling down and rolling onto his back. He gasped and groaned, pushing off the ground with his yet unchanged hand only to feel lengthening claws bite into the wood. He looked over and saw that this hand was changing too while fur on his other arm continued to fall away, only to stop at his elbow. Although he was still hot and panicked, he felt a little relief until he saw the fur above his scaly flesh bristle, growing thicker and warmer and retaining the same brown and black mottled pattern.

He looked up at the feline and opened his muzzle to speak, but it was impossible to speak as his body began to feel like it was pulling apart. The truth was far kinder, though no less strange, as additional muscle and mass began to augment his otherwise moderate frame. With his newfound strength, he rolled back onto his elbows and knees and attempted to stand and again found it impossible. He was growing disproportionately and other parts of him were changing too.

With a resounding rip, his shirt fell into piece as his chest abruptly barreled out. He groaned as his spine elongated, his tail wagging this way and that as its fur fell away until only a smallish nub remained. From this protrusion, darker hairs began to grow out, coarse and long and slightly glossy like that of a well-groomed horse. It was heavier and longer too and his rear was already adjusting beneath it.

Anmore's unladen feet ached, his toes suddenly stiff and immobile. He tried to lift them, but they were mostly unresponsive, his legs too weak for the moment. This all changed when additional muscle began to grow there too, a pleasant broadening joined by the unpleasant cracking and shifting of bone, precipitating a shift in configuration that would leave previous modes of walking untenable and no longer leaning on his knees. His feet hardened, compressing into a rounder shape and covering with a tough substance far more resilient than paws and pads. A moment later he could move his feet again, and so he stomped one against the ground and heard a hard clomp. He lifted his heavier head and looked back to see his horselike hooves and tail and the thicker hairs that were replacing his soft fur. He blinked, realizing all too late what he was becoming.

"No," he groaned, straining his elongating neck as he looked up at the feline. "Don't--"

The feline smiled as the hound's muzzle clamped shut, his nose melting away into fur that too was shedding away. His canine cranium reshaped, shorter and more rounded His teeth ground together momentarily before they loosened and fell out to the floor with a clatter, his oversized, hairless muzzle curving, twisting, and hardening all at the same. Anmore's distraught, flattened ears suddenly perked up and thinned out, less round and more triangular as they grew lynx-like tufts of fur at their tips. His eyes shut as they forcefully migrated further apart. When he opened them again, the warm brown of his eyes darkened into purple pupils. He blinked, for he could see the protrusion of his beak.

His beak. He blinked again and opened his beak, noticing that its color was as black as his scaled hands and his tongue was thinner and shorter. He wouldn't be panting anymore.

He whimpered as another wave of change rolled over him, granting him even more muscle and mass. The world seemed to shrink, the feline standing so close to him no longer large and looming but still very, very threatening. His rear rose up, tail swaying, as his pants finally gave way, falling to unwearable scraps. In a moment it grew to be in proportion with his broad chest while the fur upon it shortened and traded its mottled pattern for a uniform brown midway up his body. From this divide he began to feel less and less hot and more pleasantly warm as the fur fluffed out, slightly shaggy and retaining its original pattern.

Feeling slightly more confident in this form yet no less uncomfortable, he tried to stand on two legs and again failed. This time, he didn't lack the strength but only the capability. He fell onto his side with a loud thump and a very un-doglike shriek that pierced the air. He craned his neck and looked over his legs and saw that his hind legs were very much like those of a horse while his front was very much avian in appearance.

"No," he meant to say in denial but all that came out was an animalistic squawk. He tried again only to achieve the same result, and the feline laughed at it all. Anmore looked over at the now seemingly small feline and hissed, actually hissed, at the cat in displeasure. He meant to swipe at the feline with his formidable claws, but two things happened at once to prevent it. First, his shoulders trembled terribly at things pushed out painfully against them. Second, his nethers tingled. He looked down at his hindquarters and caught sight of his sheath. It was small, seemingly insignificant because it had not grown in proportion with the rest of him, but it was now shrinking smaller still. He squawked unhappily and uncomfortably as the last bit of him that was truly him dwindled away to mere nothingness, taking his shrunken testicles with it to nonexistence. For a moment he was totally devoid of any sort of indicator of sex or gender and then there was twin tears as his wings exploded out from his shoulders and a slit opened up where his masculinity had once resided. He squawked and shrieked again, but he was no longer he. She stared down at her slit, a puffy dark pussy that was equine in appearance, and watched as it migrated up her hindquarters until it lay just below her anus. She flapped her fledgling feathered wings their width and lift growing with each movement while she shuddered at the sensation of her pussy seeming to wink as she knew hippogryph mares were wont to do when...

She shrieked and rose on her feet like the quadruped she had become. The bastard feline had not only turned her into a hippogryph, but a hippogryph mare.

Anmore hissed. She was no longer unnaturally hot, only warmed by her fur and feathers and her body was mostly in balance. She wasn't entirely comfortable, but she was comfortable enough for her anger to grow at this injustice. She turned to the feline and peered down at him crossly. As always, he smiled and chuckled.

"Oh dear," he said. "Angry, are we? Does that mean you want to turn up the heat?"

Anmore squawked, unsure how to respond. She squawked again a moment later, this time more softly as a sudden warmth gripped her nethers. The warmth flowed up her feminine passage, causing her to shudder. She felt warmth pinch too in her hindquarters where her manhood had once resided. While her feminine lips became flushed and wet, she looked down between her foreclaws and saw two dark nubs form, fat little teats that grew out prominently against the fur. She shuddered from the growing heat, but this she could resist.

"A little more?" the feline questioned. He snapped his fingers.

Anmore shuddered and her chest dropped down as the heat grew. Unconsciously she lifted her rear and swept her tail aside, her warm, pulsing pussy exposed to the cold air, willing and ready for...

She shook her head, but nothing could clear the sexual smog that was falling over her mind. There was instinct there, a bestial urge to mate and breed and bear young for the closest male, any stallion that could fill her wanton emptiness. She squawked again, this time not out of fear or anger but because of lust. This time, there was an answer.

Her ears perked up and she turned her head to see Thidrek staring at her with interest, shy interest but interest all the same. She shrieked and he shied away, her mind disgusted by the thought of mating with him but her body far more than interested in the premise of such action. Despite of his shyness, the sight of the stallion and the flare of his member peeking from his sheath brought her body to even greater levels of excitement. Though her sense of smell had been dimmed since the change, she still smelled something in the air, a scent of musk and masculinity and it certainly didn't help her resistance.

"You wanted to be the greatest breeder," the feline said. "Though you will be the bred, and not the one directing the breeding." He winked and a whisker twitched. "Close enough."

Anmore shook her head, very much strike at the feline but her body wouldn't let her do much more than present herself. She was a prisoner to her own instincts.

"Now, why don't we start your long and illustrious career?"

The feline snapped again. Something creaked behind Anmore. The hippogryph mare turned her head and saw that Thidrek's pen was now open. The stallion cautiously stepped out and when no one moved he walked a bit more confidently towards the mare in heat. Anmore hissed, or meant to hiss, but all that came out was another mating call, inviting him rather than dissuading him. This seemed to bolster Thidrek's confidence further and so the stallion moved closer still.

No! Anmore tried to step forward, but only managed to stumble backwards instead, her wings awkwardly flapping as she pushed her rear right up into Thidrek's beak. Much to her relief, the stallion squawked and actually retreated.

"Hmph," the feline sniffed. "Perhaps the problem wasn't entirely with you after all." He snarled and snapped again. "Let's make this more interesting."

Immediately Thidrek stopped his retreat and instead surged forward with renewed confidence. Despite herself, Anmore quivered in anticipation as Thidrek lay his foreclaws upon her rump. She bucked her legs, attempting to throw him off, but the sanguine stallion held on, clambering up upon her and mounting her.

Anmore shrieked, but it was too late by then. She gasped in the next moment as she felt something stiff prod at her swollen lips.

Wait, Anmore wanted to say, but she couldn't. She was no longer capable of such speech, and she didn't want to screech or squawk or shriek lest she encourage Thidrek further.

Thidrek didn't need any encouragement, however. Anmore did screech as his virginal passage was spread apart by the intrusion of him into her, though such an intrusion shouldn't have been so pleasurable. The stallion thrust forward and Anmore screeched again as her warm passage clenched down, but Thidrek pulled out, leaving the mare shivering and waiting for more. Her body's wishes were granted as Thidrek thrust in again, deeper and more forceful this time, illicting a surprised squawk from Anmore. Her pussy spread apart further to allow it all and the stallion took the initiative by pushing even further. The mare quivered, pushing her rear up, needing more, wanting more. She had to be filled because then she could have full and swollen, pregnant with this fine specimen's foals.

Anmore shook her head, but the haze of lust would not leave so easily. Abruptly Thidrek thrust into again whilst simultaneously biting down on one of Anmore's ears with his beak. She cried out in pain and pleasure and felt his balls slap roughly against her pussy. He was fully or mostly in and now that all that needed to happen was that sweet release and her body wouldn't let her stop him.

Thidrek pushed in and out, creating a pleasurable rhythm. She moved with him, over and over, in and out, in and out, until Thidrek grunted above her. Then something warm spilled into her, into her passage, past her passage, and into her womb. She felt his member started to soften in her passage and she shuddered as he pulled out, her mind suddenly withdrawn from the pleasure of it all as she felt his seed pool in her womb. Her mind mostly emotionless and empty as she realized she may have just become a mother.

Thidrek lovingly nipped at her ear and then staggered away, wandering a bit until he staggered and fell onto his bed of straw, content to sleep while his new mate lay not far from him, filled with his seed but feeling oh so empty. She knew she had just been bred like the mare she was, and, unless her still existing heat withered away or Thidrek lost interest in her or she changed back, she was destined for motherhood, which meant a swollen belly, milk-dripping teats, and little hippogrifflings who would caw and suck at her teats incessantly.

"Not quite," the feline chuckled, as if reading her mind.

Thidrek whimpered. Her womb felt warm, and grew only warmer still. Suddenly her belly bulged, though not with fat. It expanded outwards, her breathing slowly as it grew out and out. She squawked nearly silently as she saw its paunch and felt the heft that came with it. She squirmed and tried to stand but her belly was so heavy and swollen and unfamiliar that it was difficult to move. Most concerning, however, were that spherical shapes that pressed against her rounded abdomen.

Eggs. She was carrying eggs.

"Yes," the feline laughed again. "A regular hippogriff can only carry so much young and they take too long to gestate. If you truly want to be the greatest breeder, lady Anmore, you must trust them to develop on their own, no? You'll lay and lay and your stallion will be too happy to continue to fill you up."

At the word "lay", Anmore felt her pussy pulse. Unconsciously she lifted her tail and did manage to muster the strength to stand, but not to escape or move, only to assume a certain position. She felt something drop and set into place into her passage and before she knew it was pushing with the muscles of her inner walls. Whereas minutes earlier she had been being filled, now she was expelling something. No, not something--an egg, round and fully formed and already ready to be pushed out and it wasn't the only one.

"Of course," the feline continued. "Hyperfertility and eggs can get a breeder only so far. The slowest are rarely the greatest." He winked. "There is strength in speed and persistence. Your body is far more than capable of handling it."

Anmore shuddered, her first egg nearly out. With another laborious push, it crowned and she screeched. This was the hardest part but she had to do it, she had to push it through. It couldn't just lay there in the state of in between. It had to be out, out, out--

Out. It plopped out and fell to the floor and for a moment Anmore felt some pleasure and pride at the sight of its mottled black and brown shell. Then the pain resurfaced as the next egg was on its way. In a panic, the former hound wandered how many there were. Four? Eight? A dozen or more?

Whatever the number, she pushed and pushed and egg after egg plopped out. Luckily, it became easier on her body, though not her mind with each egg. That fear and panic remained. This was not what she had wished and yet...was it not? Finally, the last egg came out, number thirteen, and so she collapsed, curling around her eggs to keep them warm. The feline purred, pacing around as he examined the results of her coupling.

"Very, very good," he said. "If you keep this up you may very well be the greatest breeder."

Anmore laid her head down, defeated. She was exhausted, her passage sore, her mind weary, and her otherwise strong form drained of all energy. She just wanted to rest, to sleep, to forget all of this for a while. However, there was no respite.

She felt it again, a grow heat in her nethers, a heat that ushered in revitalization and energy, though not meant for flying or hunting or other movement--no, there was naught but the need to breed and she could not beat the heat. She raised her head and shuddered, looking down as she heard something crack. A beak poked out from inside a ruptured egg. She cooed, the new mother meaning to bend down and help out her hatching, but she felt something prod at her nethers. She looked over and Thidrek was there, ready and waiting for another breeding session. She shook her head, but her body presented itself anyhow, tailed raised and legs spread apart. As Thidrek began to mount her again, she looked to the feline with terror, a feline she knew now was a devil or demon or both, for what else would cause such terrible mischief? But what could she do? She was trapped in what seemed to be an endless cycle of heat, pregnancy, and birth. Would it ever end, she thought, even though it had just begun?

The feline stomped his hooves in delight.

"Even better," he said. "Those hatchlings?" And with their mention, more of the eggs began to crack and hatch. "They grow fast. Soon they'll be old enough to breed with you." He winked. "We have to give ol' Thidrek here a break here and there...after all, how could one stallion keep up with the greatest breeder in the land?"

The feline laughed uproariously as Anmore felt Thidrek pressed into her, taking her again as he should, as others would, again and again and again. The laughter echoed into the night and it was all Anmore could hear as she was bred. The bargain had been fulfilled.
