Angel was sat in the earth dorm common room waiting for Scar to get ready, they had agreed to go out with Kyoshi and Leo to the local tournament, it was a three round tournament, she and Kyoshi were teaming up and Scar was with Leo.
"What is takeing him so long?" she looked at her watch, it was hand made for her by a local designer, kind of a sponsership deal, she got the watch and they got to be her official sponser....for now, a girl walked into the room, she had on a fire dorm uniform, Angel was in jeans and a t shirt
"hey you, I wanna duel ya" Angel moved a few stray hairs from her eyes
"allright Miranda, I got five minutes to kill" she drew out her disc

"I'll start" she drew her card "I summon Red Eyes Black Chick in defence mode, your move"
"ok, draw" Angel drew her card
"Angel, let me at 'er, I'll tear her to shreds" she smiled and said in her head
"not yet, you'll get your chance" she looked back to the girl "I summon Maiden Of Macabre in attack mode (atk/1700)" the creature appeared
"shall I kill her now mistress?" Angel nodded
"attack with blossom slicer" the creture ran forward and cut the dragon in two with her scythe "I activate her ability, whenever she destroys a monster in battle she gets 200 extra attack (atk/1900) your move" Miranda drew her card, she winced
"I end my turn" Angel drew her card
"m'lady allow me to assist"
"certainly, I summon Shadee-Whip Master in attack mode (atk/1900) now I equip Searing Tounge-Whip to Shadee, increses her attack by 1000 (atk/2900) now attack with burnt orchid assult" she flung her whip at Miranda

"did I do good m'lady?"
"you did, good job, now Macarbe attack her directly" she ran forward and sliced Miranda, leaving a trail of blossoms on the wind comeing from it
"my work is done" the cards vanished

"game, set and match" as she finished Scar walked down the stairs "ready?" he nodded "bye Miranda" the pair walked out of the dorm, hand in hand.

"ANGEL, SCAR OVER HERE" Kyohi's voice carried abouve the crowds noise, when she called out to Angel another fur turnt to look, and indeed there stood Angel
"hey Topaz, go see if she's still got it" a large tiger appeared
"certainly, it will be good to see her again" he prowled over to her, halfway he sat on the floor and began to purr, Angel looked over in his direction, she saw the tiger
"hi Topaz, been a while hasn't it?"
"certainly Angel, did you bring Ralis with you?"
"yep, Ralis come out" Ralis The Star Bird appeared on her shoulder "go hang out with Topaz" the bird flew over to the tiger and then to the fur
"good to see you again Spencer"
"you two Ralis, are you and Angel entering the tournament?"
"yep, she is paired with Kyoshi"
"good luck then"
"you two" Ralis disapeared, Angel again became his target, he pulled out his phone and rang someone, Angel picked up her phone
"hello"
"hi"
"who is this?"
"you did see Topaz earlier didn't you?"
"Spencer!?"
"yep, how long's it been?"
"3 years, oh gotta go, talk later, see you" she hung up, Spencer headed for the stage door.

"now ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you too your host, the man who gave the number one duelist in the world his first defeat and recently crowned king of armageden.....SPENCER TIGER" the crowd roared as he stepped out, he was not alone, with him were the crystal beast, only Angel could see them
"now my fellow duelist I am not known for my speeches so good luck, one half of the wining team gets to duel with me against last years winners" the tournament began
"so Kyoshi when we win, who's gonna duel with him?"
"you can, I wanna watch you duel with him" they dueled their first oponant
Angel and Kyoshi vs Derric and Dom: winner Angel and Kyoshi
round two
Angel and Kyoshi vs Garret and Valen: winner Angel and Kyoshi
third round
Angel and Kyoshi vs Henry and Sally: winner Angel and Kyoshi. Time for the finale, Angel walked onto the stage
"just knew you'd be the one dueling with me"

"I'm first" Angeld drew her card
"mistress summon me" she smiled
"I summon Diamond, Lightsworn Loba in attack mode (atk/500), I set down two cards and end"
"Spencer have you seen that card before?"
"sorry guys but no"
"my turn" Miranda drew her card "Lord Of D in attack mode, your turn
"draw, now who to play?" Spencer looked over his hand
"I am eager to meet the new girl"
"Sapphire it is, good luck, I activate crystal tree, now I summon Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus in attack mode (atk:1800)" he appeared
"a plesure to meet you, the names Sapphire"
"Diamond, a plesure, I heard of you from Ralis"
"I activate Sapphires ability, Topaz on the bench" a chunk of Topaz appeared "now I use crystal tree, Topaz to the field (atk:1600)" the beast appeared
"Topaz this is Diamond, Diamond this is Topaz"
"a plesure"
"same here, now if you don't mind, keep your concentration on them"
"I end my turn"
"I draw, now come out Vampire Orchis (atk:1700), attack Diamond" the plant threw it's branches at the wolf
"I activate, Lightsworn Barrier, now by discarding two cards from the top of my deck, I can negate you attack" she did so "and seeing as one of the cards sent was Wulf, Lightsworn Beast I can summon it to the field in attack mode (atk:2100)" the beast appeared
"Diamond, you allright?"
"fine Wulf"
"I end" Angel drew a card
"I play Cost down, now by discarding one card, all my monster levels go down by two" she did so "now I summon Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon in attack mode (atk:2000), destroy Vampire Orchis with solar purge" he shot a beam of light into the plant, it shattered

"I end" she discarded three cards for Gragonith's effect and his attack increased by 300 (atk:2300) "he sent a Lightsworn to the grave via his effect so he goes up by 300 points"
"I draw" Miranda drew her card "I sacrifice my Lord Of D to summon Luster Dragon #2 in attack mode (atk:2400) now attack Diamond" a pulse of energy ripped through the room
"go Lightsworn Barrier" she discarded two cards, Gragonith increased his attack by another 300 (atk:2600)
"I end" Spencer drew his card
"I activate crystal release, equiping it to Topaz he goes up by 800 (atk:2400) now attack, tear up Luster dragon" (atk:2800) the monster blew up on the spot "now I set this and end"

"draw" he frowned "I end" Angel drew her card

"mistress please, let me end this"
"fine, end this now I synchro summon Erdis, Lightsworn Blitzkreig in attack mode (atk:3500)" a warrior clad in white appeared "now I equip him with Lighsworn Rapier (atk:4200) and summon Chaos Angel Sanity in attack mode (atk:1600) attack her directly Erdis"

"now Sanity attack her"

"I activate Erdis's ability, now by discarding a Lighsworn from my deck, you lose it's defence from you life points" she picked the card "Aurkus, Lightsworn Druid (def:1800), now take damage" a bolt of lightning shot into Miranda

"GAME, SET AND MATCH"
"well done Angel"
"thank you Sapphire"
"allright, now to present you with your prize, can your partner come up here please?" Kyoshi walked onto the stage "for you a series of rare undead and fiend cards, and for Angel, a few rare fairy and spellcasters" the pair took the cards and bowed for the crowd "Angel would you like to hang out some time, I've got a tornament comeing up soon and well, we havn't seen each other in ages so..."
"sure Spencer, I'd love".
