Walking Into The Light

Chapter Two:

Life Takes A Turn For The Better And An Old Foe Emerges.

Previously in Walking Into The Light: Cale found a partner in the form of his most hated enemy and in turn began his long walk down the road to salvation. Through the practice of meditation and martial arts he had learned to control his impulsive and aggressive nature; but what will happen now that he has discovered that he has a sister?

*Thud...thud thud...* His punches resounded with dull impacts against the exterior of the punching bag, as a broad shouldered white human male skillfully ducked and dodged around the object. Every now and then he would land a blow or two, backing up to duck and then rushing forward into a high kick followed by a spinning kick and another, and another and another, the punching bag taking the endless punishment without any sign of breaking. That was until the male calmed himself down, bracing his body, in haling slowly as he made a circular motion with his hands, pulling them back to the right side of his waist. He let out a powerful roar as he thrust the palm of his right hand forward, only his index and middle finger extended, his hand impacted the punching bag, breaking the chains that held it in place and sending it flying across the room, exploding against the wall. His spiked black hair bounced slightly, one of the spikes going limp as it fell in front of his face, only to be brushed away by his hand.

*Clap, clap, clap* the sound of a singular applause broke the silence as a Collie stood up in the corner of the room. His rust red and creamy white fur contrasting harshly against the black sweat pants that he wore.

"Good job....your punches are becoming more purposeful. The more you restrain yourself, the more power you hold back for later, and the longer you can draw the match on." Said the collie as he walked towards the human.

"I have a sister?" Asked the human in a dumbfounded tone.

"Oh, god not this again!" The collie shouted as he slapped his fore head.

"Cale, neither of us know if she is telling the truth. She could be some psycho for all we know." He spoke up in a slightly harsh tone. The collie had been dealing with this growing dilemma for the last week. Approximately six days ago the two had entered an underground fighting circuit at an abandoned ware house. The human had performed so amazingly that he had gained instant recognition as well as a massive cash reward. The night had gone smooth enough until just before they left, the human was encountered by a snow white vixen

claiming to be his sister. Unfortunately for the human, he was nearly mauled by a rush of fans who separated him from the girl. In the end, he and the collie left the area to continue their training for the next fight. Ever since that night, the human had been unbelievably unfocused in his training and rarely let the idea that she may have been his sister escape his mind.

Cale thought for a moment, perhaps it was true. Perhaps she was just some crazy female fox, a very attractive fox, but crazy none the less. But it was so odd, she was a fox, the mugger that had attacked his mother was a fox...perhaps, if he had a sister, then his mother was still alive.

"Terry! I have to find that girl again!" Cale shouted in realization.

"I don't care if she is crazy, right now, she is the only chance that I have at a family. Crazy or not...that has to count for something." Cale was intent on this new mission and his face showed it perfectly. The collie new that once Cale had gotten something into his head, there was no way of getting it out so he simply gave a sigh of defeat. It wasn't to much of an issue, their training for the day had come to an end and Cale was still vastly improving. If there was anyone more deserving of the title, rising star, in the world of underground fighting, it Cale. Cale's ability to comprehend the styles that he practiced and apply them was unimaginably great. It was as if they were engrained into his mind at birth and only now were they really showing themselves. The two business partners began the tedious chore of cleaning up the training room of the gym before they left, hiding the destroyed punching bag in a mop closet to dispose of any evidence that they were the culprits of its decimation. They left later that night after getting cleaned up, going over to Terry's house, an event that was a first for Cale.

One thing that everyone knew about Cale, until he had formed a partnership with Terry, he hated anthros. In fact, he didn't just hate them, he despised their very existence. So it was perfectly understandable when Terry realized that Cale walking into a house full of Anthro's was going to be more of a challenge than any training or any opponent he had ever fought thus far. The two stood on the porch of Terry's house, Terry noticeably gulped as images of his house erupting into flames danced through his mind. But Terry was a man...well, a dog of his word and he promised Cale he would help him.

"Hello dear, I'm home." Terry called out into the house as he closed the door behind Cale and himself. The sounds of water running in the kitchen and the clanking of pots and pans alerted Terry to his wife or daughter being home.

"Hey there. I was wondering when you would get home." A younger looking Collie popped her head out from the kitchen, deep blue eyes and a coat of fur that made Terry look like he had been dragged through the dirt in comparison.

"I wish you had told me you were bringing company, I would have set another place at the table for your friend." It was the mere mention of company and ‘friend' that reminded Terry to the presence of a borderline murderous anthro hating human standing next to him. The same man that no more than a month and a half ago had beaten the collie so hard that it left the canine in a coma and kept him in the hospital for a week and a half. Looking over to Cale he noticed that contrary to what he believed, Cale seemed to be faring very well. He seemed to be interested in all the pictures of Terry's family on the walls and the other features of the house. For a second, the collie actually thought he saw a hint of longing on the human's face. It was then that he finally understood just how important finding this possible sister was to Cale. So important in fact, he was doing everything in his power to keep his anger for other morphics in check. It wasn't long before Terry and his family along with Cale were all sitting in the living room enjoying some of Jasmine's famous marinated t-bone steaks and mashed potatoes. Contrary to what a good deal of humans thought. Not all morphics went by the nature of their lesser evolved ferals. They didn't always stick to being carnivores or herbivores. Many found that a variety of vegetables, grains, fruits, and meats helped keep their fur looking good and their bodies in tip top condition. The night went on in varying degrees of conversation, eventually turning to how Cale and Terry came to be partners and all that had happened so far.

"That's amazing dad, I can't believe Cale beat sixteen fighters in a row and you trained him." A young boyish collie said in reply to his father's story.

"Do you think you will ever find your sister?" Came the voice of Terry's daughter, no more than seven and cute as any puppy could be. Until now, Cale hadn't had to answer a single question and seemed to be content that way. He had done miraculously well so far with just

being in a house filled with anthros, let alone sitting down to dinner with them. Now he had to go one step further and talk to them.

"I...I don't know. But I really hope I do. I've never known what it is like to have a family like you and your brother do. That is a gift that you should always cherish, and that is why I am going to do everything that I can to make sure I find her." Cale replied as he looked down at Amanda then back to Terry. The father nodded and thought for a moment, he had been thinking all night of how to best find this vixen. The issue was that Terry hadn't even seen her. He had gotten out there just in time to rescue Cale from his over adoring fans that seemed intent on literally ‘smothering' him with their shows of delight and affection. From how Cale had described her, it seemed that she was little more than a teenager, which meant that she was probably still in high school. If that was the case then she was more likely than not to be just the same as every other teen age girl and have her face plastered all over some social networking site like My Space, Twitter, or Face Book. It was a long shot but it was the only lead they had for now. Thankfully as we all know, kids these days make computer programmer's look like retarded monkeys pounding on a key board, and Amanda, Terry's daughter was no different. With her help, the two male's were browsing through over eighty million different names on ten different sites in less than a few seconds.

"Ok, I found twelve matches." Amanda piped up looking at the all the different sites on her computer.

"Where do you learn this stuff?" Her father asked quizzically, not understanding at all how she ever managed to get so tech savvy.

"Everyone knows how to use the internet dad. Anyways, Cale, do any of these girls look like her?" Cale leaned over her shoulder, examining each and every picture as if he was examining a gemstone for any flaws. The first seven he discarded, three of them being rabbits and the others being different species. Finally he came to one picture. A fox, somewhere around five feet six inches tall, hazel eyes and platinum blonde hair with fur as white as snow.

"That's her!" Cale shouted in excitement. Terry leaned a little closer as he examined the details on her profile.

"Let's see. It says here, her username is snowfall16, well at least you know she isn't crazy, she's just a normal teenager. Ok, her name is Nicky...uh, Nichole I guess. Nichole Benziger, she goes to Winter Haven High school and she is sixteen years old. She just posted that she ran into someone she thinks is her brother but now she doesn't know where he is....." Terry finished as he stood up. Looking over his shoulder he had just enough time to watch Cale dashing out the door of his daughter's room and jumping the banister of the second floor like a hurdle. Cale landed on the floor of their house with a rumbling thud and he ran out the front door, Jasmine watching him quizzically as he left.

"Was there something wrong with my steak?" She asked meekly as she watched the human run down the road. In the time Cale spent as a pot dealer, he had learned every corner and alleyway in the city of Orlando and its counties. It was no surprise to see him dodging down alleys and climbing fire escape ladders. He knew that the only thing slower than the cars here were the people and that he could move faster above them rather than beside them. Cale leapt from one roof top to the next, bounding with the speed of a cheeta as he jumped and tumbled along apartment buildings, sliding down a ladder here and there and dashing across a highway or two. The only time he stopped was when he came to a sign saying welcome to Winter Haven Park. This area was like hell on earth. It was amazing how a place as beautiful as Winter Haven could be located right next to a place that made New Jersey look like the safest place in the world. He took a deep breath as he ran into the park, keeping his eyes focused on the lights just beyond the edges of the opposite side of the park. It wasn't till he had reached a bridge that he had to stop, his body finally catching up with him as he nearly doubled over in exhaustion. His heavy breathing went in time with the footsteps that came from in front of him. A female human, scantily clad in a low cut v-neck red long sleeve shirt and black vest with matching black miniskirt. A local prostitute apparently. Now, don't get the man wrong. There was only two things he loved more than prostitutes, and that was beating the crap out of a furry followed in close second by smoking pot. However, now was not the time to be thinking with his dick.

"Hey baby....did you run all this way just to see me?" The woman asked in a flirting tone. Cale looked up in disbelief. It never ceased to amaze him how in some way, hookers seemed to know ever last cheesy line that one person could ever say. Eventually catching his breath he stood up, letting her know that in fact he was not here to see her, but instead to offer her a free sample in the latest of herpes simplex B medications. It was as if the shocked and offended look on her face seemed to fuel Cale, perhaps in some way it did. After all, there were very few people who at heart, were more of an asshole than Cale was. When little girls were selling cookies, he was giving them the middle finger, when old ladies needed help crossing the road and were right in the middle of the street. He was on the opposite street, pounding the cross walk button trying to get the light she was under to turn green, all the while he would be laughing. He started into a slow jog, not even making it to the end of the bridge before a male Thoroughbred stallion stepped into his way. He tried to go around him but the stallion side stepped into his path once more. It was obvious that the guy had beef and was intent on taking it out on Cale.

"I think you owe my girl an apology, and some money." The stallion said. The look on Cale's face just screamed, Holy Crap You're Her Pimp! Looking back at the hooker with her hands on her waist and glaring at the human. He directed his vision back to the stallion once more, standing a good two feet above him. The guy was huge. However, staying true to his persona, Cale said the first thing that came to his mind.

"Didn't I see your face in the God Father?" The horse reeled back and punched Cale in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him, but only temporarily. Cale only smiled as he stood up holding his chest and trying to suck in air. The stallion went to throw another punch, only this time, Cale caught his fist in mid air. With a quick spin, he had the pimp's wrist and arm wrenched up behind his own back. With a harsh thrust, a loud crack and pop came from the stallion's shoulder as he dropped to his knees crying out in pain. However, the human wasn't done yet, grabbing the equine's upper arm and fore arm, he twisted sharply and pushed his upper arm down and his lower arm up, the bones breaking and tearing through the stallion's skin. In a second the horse's eyes rolled back into his head as he blacked out from the pain. Just for good measure, Cale kicked the downed stallion in the testicles then ran off. Only to come back seconds later and repeatedly kick his already tortured treasures a few more times. All the time screaming obscenities about how he hated anthros.

The shuffling of papers coupled with an off tune singing of some human male in a suit filled the room of the main lodge to the housing development of Winter Crest. The night manager was just finishing up his duties and sitting down at his desk when the knob on the door turned a few times.

"Sorry, we're closed!" He shouted, mumbling a few curses under his breath. A second later the door exploded inwards as Cale burst into the room and made his way over to the desk. In the time it took the manager to get up and grab the phone, Cale was already behind him and grabbing his neck so tight the other male couldn't even breath let alone talk. Cale used his other hand to hang up the phone before he tossed the man against a wall. Grabbing a stapler off the desk, he flipped it open and smiled wickedly as he grabbed the manager by the collar of his suit and lifted him up to his feet. The man didn't even have time to scream before Cale slammed the stapler into the scared man's fore head three times, leaving a row staples in his head.

"Alright desk jockey, you listen and listen well. You are going to tell me where a Nichole Benziger lives or so help me god the next three staples are going in your balls!" The man didn't even reply, he just whined loudly and pointed to his desk. From there it went to him flipping through pages in a directory of residents until he came to the last name Benziger. Lucky for Cale, even luckier for the manager, there was only one house belonging to a Benziger family. Cale looked to the man and gave a sly smile that slowly curled into a smile of pure evil.

Cale left the building, the light inside illuminating the image of a man stapled to the wall as he struggled to get free. Cale was already half way down the road when he saw the house he was looking for. It was just like every other house in that it was a Victorian style, two story house with a shingled roof. It was really nice actually, in fact, probably somewhere in the half million dollar range. Cale stopped and looked at the house, the thought that his possible sister was being looked after was enough to make him smile, but slowly that smile faded to a look of worry. What if he was doing the wrong thing. Look at where she lived. Her life must be perfect, the last thing she needed was some dead beat pot smoker who could only make a buck by fighting others.

"No...I have to see her." He whispered as he ran towards the house, dashing around to the back yard and looking at all the windows on the second floor. Finally he saw a light in one of the rooms and he froze. A silhouetted figure of someone came to the window and opened it up, steam rolling out of the window. Light shined down into the back yard though it showed nothing, the human was nowhere to be found. Cale panted more out of fear than exertion as he pressed his body to the side of the house. To his left he noticed a trellis of ivy. In his mind, there was nothing more cliché than climbing a trellis to the second floor to see some girl, but right now, it would have to make do.

Cale crouched down low as he walked along the roof to the window, he had only gotten half way there before a window in front of him was illuminated from the light inside. Cale rolled to the side in a panic, feeling on the verge of having a heart attack of almost being spotted. Peeking around the edge of the window he could see a dresser with a mirror on top of it, just in the corner of the mirror were dozens of pictures of a white vixen, and in seconds the whole mirror was filled with her image as she stepped into view. Only a blue bathrobe graced her lithe form, hiding most of her curves. She smiled into the mirror, and in turn Cale smiled. So entranced by this vixen was he, that he had all but forgotten that he was her brother. Slowly she began to untie her bath robe, opening it to reveal her body. Cale's mind screamed at him to look away, but his eyes seemed to give a care less what his mind thought. Her body was perfect in every way, as if God himself had descended from heaven to personally create her. Her fur looked so smooth, and it seemed to glow with a brilliant shine that came from a strict regimen of conditioners and dieting. Her breasts began to rise up and stand out even more as she lifted her arms above her head, stretching and giggling in the mirror at herself. She spun around letting her foxy tail curl around her. She wasn't just a fox that was for sure. Her fur, her tail, she must have been half fox half mink or something, but most definately all angel. Cale's breath was already fogging up the glass as he watched her bend over, her shapely rump appearing in the mirror, her legs seeming to outline her velvety folds nestled between her thighs. God, she was perfect. His mind eventually won out though as he realized he was sporting a raging hard on over his sister. Never before had he felt this type of guilt and mixed feelings. For one, he was sexually attracted to his sister, a female he had never met before, and two, his sister was a fox or something, and most likely a genetic replica of the man who attacked his mother and ruined his life. It was at this thought that Cale realized something. This female was the very offspring of the being that gave rise to all his reasons for hating furries. How could something so beautiful come from something so evil. Slowly he sank down against the rooftop, exhaling as he closed his eyes. This was truly a difficult situation. Slowly he realized that it would not have been too far off for him to think of killing her, his own sister. Besides, how could he ever call a furry his sister anyway. How could an anthro ever be his own flesh and blood. Being partners with one was one thing....but this, this was just wrong, it was insane. Carefully he took another peek at the vixen, she was currently on her bed and nestled under the covers, reading a magazine of some sort. For the first time in years, he felt that no longer was he in control of his own life. He had always made his own decisions, he chose where to go and when to go there. But now, he was forced with two decisions that to him were equally wrong. Either come to terms and accept that his sister was a furry, or break into her room and kill her in an act of vengeance for his mother. The feeling flooding him weighed heavily on his heart. Never before had he been forced to make a decision like this. Turning his attention to the stars in the sky he watched them shimmer and twinkle as he thought back to his mother and realized, perhaps there was more to this situation than he was grasping. Turning his gaze back to the vixen,he continued to watch her, fighting with his emotions, killing her seemed to extreme, if she was here, then perhaps his mother was still here, and if his mother was still here, then that meant that his mother loved her enough to keep her around. Which meant that...in some way, he should too. Finally he came to a conclusion. He would do the impossible and accept that he was the brother of a furry. Compared to that, what he had to do next seemed as easy as breathing. Audibly trying to gulp down his nerve he moved to the edge of the roof top to give himself space between him and the window. Reaching forward he just barely tapped the glass. His black sweat pants and black t-shirt and black running shoes kept him pretty much invisible against the night, but the paleness of his skin was definitely not helping any in his cause of staying relatively hidden to others. The vixen jumped slightly, looking over to her window and squinting before wrapping the blanket around her form and getting out of bed, she stopped about half way, leaping backwards and falling to the floor, finally noticing Cale outside her window. Slowly Cale moved forward. It was awkward enough that he was doing this, but now he needed to remind her of who he was. Thinking for a moment, he got an idea. He began to take off his shirt, exposing his flesh to the warm summer night air as he pointed at the scar above his chest. The vixen seemed to look confused for a moment before going wide eyed and rushing to the window, hastily opening it.

"It's you." Her voice was barely above a whisper and sounding sweeter than honey. Cale could only nod as he looked into her hazel green eyes. They were just like his, and it seemed that she was thinking the exact same thing. For what felt like hours the two just stared at each other, just basking in the knowledge that for once, they knew that they weren't crazy and for once, neither of them felt as alone as they once did.

"I-I'm Nic-" Her sentence was cut short by Cale as he placed his hand on her window sill.

"Nichole....I know. I've spent all day trying to find you. I'm sorry about last week. I wanted to talk to you...I really did, but-" This time it was her turn to cut him off.

"It's ok, I understand how things can get. Me and my friends go to see a lot of fights and I see how you guys always get mobbed by fans." The two of them were silent once more as they gazed at each other, trying to find out what to say or do.

"Do...do you want to come in?" She asked as she moved away from the window. Cale gave a soft smile and climbed in through the window with all the skill of a professional criminal. He looked around her room, getting to see it all in full detail, somehow, it felt....right, like he belonged here, in this room. He couldn't help but smile as he turned his gaze to Nichole. She had made her way over to her bed and was sitting down, still looking at him as if she was taking in every aspect of his body.

"It is so....strange, you being human and all." Cale couldn't help but laugh.

"You think it is any different from my perspective?" He asked with humor in his voice.

"Heh heh, mmmm, I guess not. So...here comes the big question...why?" She asked and immediately Cale knew what she meant. Why were they so different, why hadn't they met until now. It was a big question, and more importantly a revealing question. Cale realized that she didn't know why he was human and she was a morphic. That meant.....that she didn't know who her mom was.

"You....you don't know your mother?" Cale asked, stumbling over his words, his world seeming to crash around him. Deep down he realized it was foolish to believe she was still alive. He couldn't be that lucky.

"No, my...I mean, our mother died right after she gave birth to me. I never met her. I was adopted by my new family here." She gestured to the wall, indicating that her parents were either in the next room over or just down the hall. Cale understood that he needed to be careful, he highly doubted that the father, adoptive or otherwise would take to kindly to seeing some grown man in his daughter's room. Nichole's face soon took on a different expression, one of intrigue.

"So....what was she like?" She asked, the question so simple, so easily formed, but just as easily, it brought tears to Cale's eyes. The events of this night were beginning to bring to the surface many unwanted feelings and emotions, and that coupled with dredging up memories of his mother was beginning to be more than he could take. Seeing his pain Nichole moved to his side, wrapping her arms around him as the two sank down to the floor, leaning against the wall just beneath her window. After a few minutes Cale was finally able to speak. Placing a hand on her paw, he looked into her eyes and managed a smile as he told her everything he could remember about her, everything, except that night. The two of them spent the rest of the night catching up. Cale mostly listening to Nicky's life, as he was far more interested in hearing about her than he was telling his sister that her brother was a pot smoking bum who lived in the back alley behind a night club selling weed. Eventually the excitement began to show its draining effects on Nicky, her eyes slowly closing as she leaned against her brother, her breathing getting deeper.

"Tell me, what was dad like?" The question was once again, simple enough for her, but to

him, well, if the fact that he had just turned ghostly white and unable to speak wasn't meaning enough then nothing was. He was thankful that she was half asleep and wasn't looking at him. He thought hard about what he should say, he couldn't tell her that her father was a gang banger turned rapist, or some mugger who just wanted to get his get his rocks off. In the end, Cale simply sighed as he began to sit up, the movement stirring his sister from her slumber.

"Cale, where are you going, what about dad? I want to know." She asked as he got up, he had turned away, not wanting to show her the grim expression on his face. The image of that fox holding the gun plagued his mind as he closed his eyes, holding back the tears, he just couldn't tell her that she was the off spring of some sadistic rapist. So instead, he lied.

"He was.......a good fox." The words cut deep into his soul, not only was he lying to his sister, but he was protecting the identity of a morphic who deserved nothing less than a slow and painful death. That night was the longest walk home Cale had ever had to make, and not just because of the distance, the entire way home he was tormented by his words. How could he defend that wicked creature? Was protecting his sister truly worth it? So many questions raced through his mind, each one more difficult to answer than the last. By the time he got back to down town Orlando it was already five in the morning and Cale was exhausted. He still had more than thirteen thousand dollars stored back at Terry's house, understanding that it was a bad business move to put that much money in a bank when he hadn't hit the lottery and he didn't have a job. To many questions led to IRS investigations and troublesome federal agents. He still had more than enough in his pockets for a night at a local hotel though. At least now he was sleeping in style. By the time he finally got checked in it was nearly six and he was so drained by the events of the morning and last night that all he could think of was just how much he wanted to sleep. Which made it all the more frustrating when he realized that he couldn't sleep once he was laying in bed. Opting to take a hot shower in order to calm his nerves, Cale stripped down and made his way into the bathroom, turning on the shower and waiting for the water to heat up. Thoughts of what he should do in the future kept racing through his mind. He needed a place to live. Well, after winning enough fights, he could hand over enough money to Terry and have him buy the house in his name and just throw Terry money for the bills and what not. Secondly, if he wanted any semblance of a life, he needed to get a cover job, something that would keep the government off his back. Stepping into the shower, he let his body adjust to the temperature of the water as he thought of his skills and how he could apply those to a job, frankly there was nothing out there that he could do. It wasn't until half way into his shower that he was struck with inspiration.

"I can be a body guard." The idea was just insane enough to work. Body guards made loads of money if they worked for the right people. And in Orlando, there were plenty of big name politicians and celebrities that needed protection. Heck, Cale had already proven he could take a bullet as he rubbed soap over his scar. He could beat down any assailant. He was perfect for a body guard. And the hours were flexible. He could work throughout the week and fight on the weekend nights. He would just have to start training in the night instead of the day. This was perfect, it would give him the cover he needed to get a house and look like a productive member of society. At least then he wouldn't be embarrassed to tell his sister what he did, and who knows, maybe she would even be impressed by it. As he thought about his sister, the image of her bent over in front of the mirror came to his mind, he remembered just how sexy she looked that way and how he couldn't even imagine himself feeling that way about any other morphic. Soon his thoughts turned to more erotic imaginings as he felt himself becoming more and more excited by the mental picture of his little sister's body. Once again he was met with conflicted feelings and morals. For one, she was his sister, he couldn't possibly feel this way about her, and two, she was only sixteen, she was a minor and being a pedophile was not something he wanted to add to his list of life skills. Eventually he resigned himself to just meditating and clearing his mind of everything, letting everything vanish except for himself and the water running over him.

However it became increasingly apparent that even meditation was not going to help this situation. As his thought returned once more to his sister's naked body he sighed, moaning in nearly a whisper as he let his hand brush across his growing erection. Though he felt bad about it, he was beginning to feel even worse that he couldn't get to sleep and if this was the only way then he would just have to live with the guilt. Using one hand to brace himself against the wall of the shower, he closed his eyes, letting the warm water run down his neck and back. Bringing his thoughts to his sister's well endowed breasts, he moaned even louder as he gripped his man hood, stroking slowly as he imagined his lips brushing against one of her nipples. He saw himself sucking on her right nipple as she tilted her head back, moaning and placing a paw over his head just as he began to stroke his fingers over her quickly moistening folds. He could practically hear her moans filling the shower room as he dipped a finger into her opening, using his thumb to stroke her swelling love button. Her arms wrapped around him as he moved his lips from her nipple to the side of her breast, kissing it once as he began making a trail of kisses down her body until he finally reached her most secretive areas. Slowly he would drag his tongue over her clitoris, sucking it into his mouth and giving it as much attention as he possibly could while his fingers diligently worked their magic on her dripping cunny. He would look up, his lips still around her little nub to see her head thrown back in ecstasy, eyes closed and biting down on her lower lip. A view that only encouraged the male to go further. Adding a second finger to her tunnel and pressing in even further as she spread her legs wider for him. Her moans would fill his ears as she begged for him not to stop, letting him know that she was getting closer to reaching her own little piece of heaven. Her body would tremble under his touch as he moved his tongue down to her now soaked slit, removing his fingers and pressing his tongue inside her. An act that would push her over the edge. Cale moaned out in pleasure as his body went rigid, his pulsing cock spraying ropes of his pearly white cum onto the wall of the shower stall. Now only his own heavy breathing filled his ears instead of his sister's. Soon guilt began to set in as he realized that he had busted his load all over the shower, and it was to thoughts of him pleasuring his own sister none the less. However guilt soon turned to fascination. He had never orgasmed that hard before. None of the hookers or other women he had been with had been able to make him feel like he just did. He began to wonder if it was because the act of pleasuring his sister was so taboo, or was there something more...perhaps...he was attracted to his sister. It was a thought he quickly banished from his mind. Bringing himself to the understanding that it was purely a change of pace. A new type of kink that just happened to get him off and nothing more. However, some how, it didn't seem to offer him much peace.

The next day went by with relative ease, mainly due to the fact that Cale had been asleep for most of it. When he finally woke up around seven at night, he checked out of the hotel and headed straight for the gym. For him the gym was now a place of relaxation as well as self betterment. It was also a place that he had more than enough targets and punching bags to spar against to his heart's content. As always he started by stretching, a series of movements that were nothing short of Japanese chi channeling. This was a form of systematic movements that synched the mind, body, and spirit into one union and gave a clearer outlook of the world and the task at hand. From there it went to repetitive training, practicing certain moves that gave him trouble, over and over again until he felt more confident using them. One of which was a problem child for him. The Rising Lotus kick. A move that came from the Shao-Lin monks. The texts he had read stated that monks could use it to effectively reduce massive boulders to little more than gravel. Thus far, Cale had only managed to twist his ankle, fall on his face and make a mockery of the technique. Obviously he was doing something wrong. In the hours that followed, Cale spent all of them meditating, going over the move in his mind, step by step, inch by inch, every twist, every muscle that was involved and finally, he realized his flaw. The Shao-Lin monks lived in the mountains, higher above the earth's core, which meant gravity wasn't as strong for them as it was for him. They could move faster. The effectiveness of the technique didn't come from the strength of the body, but from the speed. With enough speed, anything could be dangerous, with enough speed, a paint chip could create an impact with the force of a nuclear bomb, of course it would have to be going three times the speed of light. However, the point was still a valid one. All Cale had to do was work on his speed and dexterity, and so, the rest of the night was dedicated to making his kicks faster. Of course no one can get better at something in just a few hours, but practice makes perfect, and the same applied for Cale. By the next morning he was already kicking faster than before and was able to kick with even more force than before. Now if only he could perfect his God Fist technique, he would be an unstoppable force.

"I figured I would find you here." A familiar voice came from behind Cale as he stretched out his right leg. Even over his heavy breathing Cale could make out the voice of the Collie and was sure that many questions were about to come his way.

"So, I see you have been hard at work here. How about we see just what you have accomplished?" Terry asked as he took off his t-shirt and tightened his gym shorts. Walking into the middle of the sparring arena He exhaled as he prepared himself, taking his stance and waiting for Cale. Cale on the other hand was still trying to catch his breath. Somehow he was beginning to view this as punishment for leaving without Terry. But if the collie wanted a fight, he would certainly get one. Standing up, Cale gave one last stretch of his arms, and as he raised them above his head, the image of his sister doing so in the mirror flashed into his mind. Making his way into the arena, Cale readied himself and took his stance as well. In seconds the two were at it. No longer just sparring but fighting tooth and nail. Terry was an expert at the acts of dodging and deflecting blows, a perk of being so well versed in the Crane style of martial arts. All of Cale's attacks were fast in the views of others, but they were far too slow to land any good hits on Terry. Eventually Cale realized he would have to change things up. He moved now with a faster pace, taking small shots at Terry which for the most part were knocked away. Eventually getting to the point where each punch was made with renewed speed and coupled with his strength became destructive enough to break through Terry's blocks. The fighting continued this way, the two knocking each other back and forth, Terry now straining to avoid rather than block and Cale beginning to dodge rather than just take hits. Lunging forwards, Terry landed a kick to the side of Cale's hip, the force dropping the human to his knees. But no sooner had he fallen than was he jumping up, spinning as he did so and kicking upwards. The effect of the kick sent Terry flying backwards out of the arena and landing on his back. Terry's body spasmed as his breaths came in short spasmodic gasps while he dealt with the effects of shell shock from an amateur but equally deadly Rising Lotus Kick. Cale walked over to the quivering mass of fur, panting as he looked down at the collie and smiling.

"I understand....now what you have been trying.....to teach me. Power...it doesn't necessarily come from strength...but more so from speed." Cale spoke in broken words between gasps as he knelt down beside the Collie, helping him up into a sitting position. Eventually, Terry was able to manage a smile as he tried to recover from the blow.

"So, you found her then?" He asked as he looked into Cale's eyes.

"Yeah....she's really nice. But she is a foster child, just like I was. We learned a lot about each other." He paused looking away for a moment.

"You mean, you learned a lot about her. I know you couldn't bear to tell your sister anything about yourself....what about your mother?"

"Dead...she died giving birth to Nicky."

"So who does she blame, her father or herself?" Cale was silent in response to this question.

"I see...well, perhaps it is better that she doesn't know. After all, I don't think I would be able to tell her either." Cale just simply nodded, not wanting to tell the collie what exactly he had said. Or how badly he wanted to cut out his own tongue for saying it. That morning dragged on easily enough, Cale training all day with Terry and the two of them discussing plans for the future. The canine was interested enough at Cale's idea of becoming a body guard, though he was considerably less enthralled at the sentiments of having his name slapped on the title for another house. However, it was the least Terry could do for Cale. After all, the human was carrying them both through their careers. Around three o'clock. Cale and Terry parted ways. The collie went to look at houses, it would be a little easier since he had a friend in the real estate business. A relatively nice male skunk who had been friends with Terry since high school. Cale on the other hand was off to the mall. While his main concern was getting some more clothing and fighting gear, he also knew that the best place to look for possible clients who needed body guards were in public places. The mall was relatively packed as always. It being summer and the fact that it was the Mall of Millennia in Orlando, meant that it was always busy. Cale had spent a good amount of time in the hot topic store, he got most of his clothing there, random band tees and hoodies as well as trip pants and Anarchic boots. Cale exited the store, his black baggy trip pants tucked into a new pair of steel plated boots. He had taken off the chains so only the rows of spikes and skulls remained. He tended to buy pants in two sizes larger than what he needed, giving them a more baggy look than usual, that and they allowed for more flexibility and freedom of movement. His torso was covered by a black sleeveless top, the material torn and shredded as if he had been attacked by an animal with rather large claws. He kept the shirt tucked into his pants and held both in place with a black belt with a row of silver skulls and cross bones going around it.

Cale had made his way down to the first floor of the mall and was looking around when he began to casually put on two spiked wrists bands and a spiked collar. It was just seconds after he had finished fiddling with his collar that a possum bumped into him, chastising the human as he walked on. Cale shook it off as nothing and continued on his way. He would have gotten farther if he hadn't noticed the reflection of the possum reaching into the back hem of his jeans and grabbing a pistol from the glass window of an elevator. Whipping around, Cale ran towards the male who was taking aim at a human in an Armani business suit. Cale leapt into the air and landed on the possum just as the man turned to see him holding the gun then getting crushed underneath Cale. The possum rolled out from under Cale and reached for his pistol. Unfortunately for the creature, Cale was much faster, grabbing both of his wrists and wrenching them behind his back and forcing them upwards until a couple of pops and cracks sounded from the possums shoulders and he screamed out in pain. Cale stood up and stepped down on the possums neck, keeping the assailant from moving.

"Are you ok, sir?" Cale asked, turning his attention to the other human male, who looked on in shock.

"Y-yes...I'm fine, thanks to you. What's your name?" He asked as he looked from the human down to the possum then back.

"I'm Cale. Cale Benziger, sir. Body Guard for hire." Cale added the last part in a split moment of genius. He figured that if he had the opportunity he might as well make good use of it.

"Well, you obviously know what you are doing Cale. I'm going to be here for the next month, how would you like to become my personal body guard until then?" Cale tried desperately to hide his excitement as he smoothed out his shirt, at the same time wiping his hands off.

"That sounds acceptable. I have to warn you though, my expenses don't come cheap. It'll cost you one thousand dollars per week plus any medical expenses I acquire while protecting you." The business man thought about this for a moment and agreed, deciding that a simple thousand dollars a week was worth keeping himself alive. The two men discussed the details of everything else while they waited for the police. It turned out the human was John Gingrich, a senator for Michigan that was conducting business down in Florida for the month. It was right when the police first showed up and began questioning the men that Cale noticed a white vixen on the second floor of the mall standing beside a chocolate shop. He could see her smile as she took his picture with a camera phone. Her friends pulling her aside, trying to get down to the first floor to see why the police were there. Luckily for Cale Mr. Gingrich took care of the cops, showing them his senator's badge and explaining everything that had happened and how Cale had selflessly threw himself into the midst of danger just to save his life. It was apparently good enough for the cops as they handcuffed the possum and escorted his now crippled body outside to their car. Cale could see Nicky down on the other end of the mall, her friends dragging her along with them as they closed in on his position. Not wanting to make things any more awkward for her, he

decided that now was the time to beat a hasty retreat.

"Senator, I think now would be a good time to head back to your transport. You've already been through enough today. Any more shopping you would like to do should probably be done elsewhere." The senator was in full agreement as they left the mall and had the chauffeur bring around his limo. For Cale this was turning into a great day. He had gone from no one to hero all by saying he was a Body Guard. Hell, if he had known it was this easy he would have been doing this from the start. On the ride to the senator's hotel he had drawn up a contract, having it faxed to his limousine, which Cale was amazed by. It detailed that Cale was to be on call 24/7 for the next three weeks and was to accompany Mr. Gingrich whenever he left his hotel. Cale would receive a payment of one thousand dollars at the end of each week for a total of three thousand dollars plus reimbursement for any medical expenses he may encure on Mr. Gingrich's behalf. This was perfect for Cale, he could now say that he had a job, with that done he would be able to start filing taxes and thus get a place to live.

Running his fingers through his spiked hair, Cale sighed as he took off his collar and wrist bands, setting them down on the dresser of the hotel room. That day, he had gone out and bought a new i-phone with a contract with AT&T which despite all the commercials, seemed to work more than perfectly. He had given his number to the senator and was to expect a call tomorrow morning. Cale had already begun using his phone and was glad he had gotten an unlimited plan. Terry and the senator were on speed dial, as well as Papa John's pizza. Terry was surprised to hear that Cale had so much luck in one day. He was glad to say that he had found a place a few blocks from his house in Ocean Side, one of the nicer housing developments. He said that it would be a few more fights before Cale could afford a down payment, but it would be worth it. Once again, things were really beginning to look up for Cale. Only weeks ago his life seemed to be stuck in a perpetual downwards spiral. Yet now it was on the rise and showed no signs of stopping. It had been a few days since he had seen his sister and already he was missing her. So, deciding that he would pay her another visit, he stretched out and readied himself for another run to Winter Haven.

It was around ten at night when Cale finally arrived at Nichole's house, climbing up to her window and tapping on it. This time Nicky was wearing a pair of blue pajama pants and a loose fitting pink tank top. Cale smiled as she opened the window and he crawled in.

"So, my brother works part time as a hero huh?" She asked with a bit of a laugh as he sat down in a chair next to her desk.

"Well, you know, I do civilian rescue on the week days and underground fighting on the weekends. It works out." He had said it jokingly enough, but it wasn't until seconds later that he realized just how true it really was now. Nicky seemed happier now that her friends weren't dragging her everywhere. Sitting down on her bed, she pulled her legs up to her and thought for a moment.

"You know, I understand that no one really needs to know that you are my brother, but, it would be nice if I could get to hang out with you more. Kind of like other brothers and sisters do." Cale liked the idea, in theory it was easy enough, but in practice it would be a little more difficult. Perhaps it wouldn't be too hard. Plenty of older guys hung out with younger girls.

"I would like that too sis...but if we start hanging out all the time, people will start to get suspicious. And if I just show up randomly they will still get suspicious." Nicky thought about this for a moment then smiled.

"Well, I guess we will just have to give them a reason not to be suspicious then. It won't be as strange if we are hanging out with each other because we are boyfriend and girlfriend." Cale's mouth dropped open at that statement and he was visibly blushing.

"B-b-but Nicky, we can't be....uh...in a relationship." He stammered out, getting flustered by her suggestion which only made her laugh and think he was cute.

"Aww, big brother doesn't want to by my boyfriend. Don't worry silly, it's only a show. We won't do anything except hold hands every now and then. And I am pretty sure I can deal with holding your hand in public if it means that I can get a chance to be with you more and get to know you better." Nicky's words had a calming effect on Cale as he listened to her idea. It would be nice to get to know his sister better and spend more time with her. However, now that he was protecting a senator, training, and fighting, he didn't really have much time left to do anything else.

"You know sis...I don't really have too much time to be hanging out at malls and stuff though. Most of my time is spent either training for my next big fight or playing super hero for a client. And weekends are just as stressful because I do all my fighting on those nights." Cale sighed as he stood up. He really did want a chance to spend more time with Nichole, but at this rate, he would never have enough time to get to see his little sister.

"Aww, poor big brother. You just need to find some time to relax." She said as she stood up and walked over to him, gently grabbing his hand and leading him over to her bed. The two sat down and Nichole began to rub her paws over Cale's shoulders, eventually starting to massage them. Cale let out a deep moan as his shoulders noticeably relaxed along with the rest of his body. The last time he had a massage, the hooker waited till he was nearly half asleep and then ran off with his wallet.

"Mmmm....god sis, you're great at this." Cale managed to say, his eyes closed as he relaxed in a state of bliss.

"I try to do what I can. Besides, there is no need for you to always be so stressed out. We'll find time to hang out with each other. Maybe once your client guy leaves we will have more time. Then we can go hang out at the movies or the mall, or even go to universal studios." She bounced on her bed while saying the last part. By now, Cale was on cloud nine and if he were a feline he would be purring by now. Slowly he leaned back and sighed contentedly,

Nicky smiling as she looked down at him.

"I wish I could just stay here tonight." Cale mumbled half asleep as smiled and stretched.

"That's a great idea Cale. You can stay here tonight and any other night. That is how we can spend more time together. You can just come over here at night and leave in the morning to go meet with your clients or to train or whatever." Nicky laid down next to her brother, hugging him tightly and smiling. All in all it was a good idea. It would save on costs with staying in a hotel and it would give him a consistent place to sleep. Besides, if it wasn't often he got to sleep in the same room as anyone as hot as Nichole.

"Alright, it's a deal. I'll sleep here from now on. We'll also see what we can do about that whole couple charade so we can go out around the city." His sister was delighted to hear this, visible and audibly showing this as she started to purr. She had snuggled up next to Cale and for once, the human felt like he actually belonged somewhere, and that someone actually cared about him. Somehow, he could tell the same feelings were present in Nicky's mind, which worried him. Maybe home life wasn't as blissful as he thought it was for her. Sitting up, Cale began the process of taking off his boots, placing them next to her bed instead of just dropping them on the floor, for fear of waking her parents. Reaching down, he pulled his shirt off and laid back down.

"Big brother really is big." Nicky said as she placed a paw on his chest. Cale hadn't even realized that she was still awake and was now blushing at her compliment. Her paw moved over his abs and up to the scar on his chest. It rested there for a moment before eventually traveling down to his side. She rolled over and wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling against his chest as she purred contentedly and drifted off to sleep. Cale was rather flustered by all this. He had no clue Nicky was so comfortable with his body or being next to him. She practically treated him like her boyfriend already. Slowly he placed his hand on her paw as he closed his eyes, smiling and sighing contentedly. Slowly he drifted off to sleep, his mind filled with thoughts of a better world and a better future.

Pneumatic drills echoed in the distance as spot welders and other mechanics were busy disassembling various cars in the darkened chop shop. Yet another ware house on the edge of Orlando, infamous for being a big time chop shop for high quality cars. The crowd screamed in glorious elation as a large alligator picked up a tire iron, smacking it against a car and sending a ring of metal against metal through the arena. The human on the opposite side of the arena, nose bloodied, was obviously worried. In seconds the alligator was upon the man, the reptile took one, two, hits to the face and with a swing of his scaled hand, the match was over. The resounding metallic thud ended the match as the gator got up, laughing as he dropped the bloody tire iron. Two Dobermans came in and carried off the man. The crowd went wild as the gator gestured for another victim. This time, it was a different human. His black spiked hair and pale skin nearly glowing in the luminescent lights above. His chest was bare to the world and was already covered in bruises. His legs were covered by a pair of black trip pants that were tucked into a pair of steel clad boots. Stepping forward, he cracked his neck and smiled, simply giving the alligator on the other side of the arena a good show of his middle finger. The gator laughed as he ran towards the male human. The man dodged to the left, spinning around and kicking the gator in the back, sending him tumbling over and landing on his face. The crowd burst into laughter and cheers as the human turned around raising his arms up and gloating. The gator was just beginning to get up when the man stepped behind him, tearing off his already ripped blue jean shorts and holding them up then throwing them to the crowd. More laughter filled the air as the man walked back to one of the cars. Leaning against the beat down Honda accord and waiting for the gator to make his next move. The reptile was furious now. Standing there in nothing but his boxers, his hands closing into fists, he ran towards the man once more, cocking his fist back and throwing a punch. It was as if the human moved to fast for the gator to even see. One moment he was on the car and the next he was in the gator's face, grabbing his fist and with a swift turn and lift, the gator was launched over the human's shoulder and into the windshield of the car. Grabbing the gator by the throat, the human dragged him into the center of the arena, lifting his dazed form up as he delivered blow after blow to the gator who simply stumbled backwards trying to guard against the punches. The human stopped for only a second as he inhaled, moving his hands in a circular motion as he pulled them back to his right hip. His body tensed as he went to deliver his finishing blow. However he was never afforded the chance. The man doubled over with a thud as another gator stood behind him, holding a still bloodied tire iron. The gator helped his brother up, trying to steady him as he looked over his shoulder. The human was already getting up much to the gator's surprise. The man placed a hand to the back of his head, looking at it to see it was covered in blood. He growled as he looked up in time to see the tire iron swinging down on him. It was nearly to late when he rolled to the side, rolling again as the tire iron flew past him. Shakily he stood up, gripping the back of his head and rushing forward, jumping in the air and launching his left leg out at the gator who merely grabbed it and swung, slamming the man into the window of an old Chevy pickup truck. Moaning he rolled over and off the truck, dodging a punch and lunging forward, only to get a knee to the stomach that sent him doubling over to the floor coughing and gasping for air.

"Keep calm, remember your meditation Cale!" A voice called out from somewhere in the crowd. It was enough to bring the man back to reality, seeing the boot of the alligator coming down upon him. This time he reached up. The gator expressed a show of shock which turned to pain as the human spun his entire body beneath the gator, a loud snap coming from the reptile's knee. The gator fell to the arena floor howling in pain as the human stood up. The running footsteps of the other gator alerted him as he made his next move. Dropping to the ground and rolling forward, he spun around and jumped up, twisting his body in mid-air and kicking upwards, his foot contacting squarely with the already beaten gator's chest and sending the foe backwards fast enough to effectively crush the front end of a Honda civic. The gator fell limp as Cale looked down to see the other gator was still writhing in pain. With a swift kick to the side of the head, the reptilian foe was instantly knocked out and the bloodied and battered human was standing victorious in the center of the arena, holding a fist up and basking in the shrill cheering and praise of the crowds.

Cale was sitting on a work bench while Terry wiped the blood from his face, Nichole running up to the two of them and offering an ice pack to Cale. Who more than eagerly accepted the gift, flinching noticeably as he placed it to the back of his head.

"Will you be ok?" The vixen asked in a worried tone. The collie only laughed getting a chastising look from the female.

"Please, Cale takes worse beatings in his sleep. Although I have to say, I was worried when you lost focus there for a minute. Now you see why it is so important to keep your head in the game. Your raw power will only take you so far, but once your opponent gets their punches rolling it takes speed and intelligence to get yourself out of the situation." Cale's shoulders slumped. He realized the collie was right and he felt like an idiot for allowing the lapse of self control, even if only momentarily. It still could have cost him the match, and it nearly did.

"Yeah...you're right Terry. I'll try to keep it together next time. And don't worry about me Nicky, I'll be fine. Terry is right, besides, he beats on me more than those two overgrown pair of gator skin boots did back there." Nichole smiled as she looked up at Cale, even in his bloodied and battered state she still knew that he was the same Cale that she had recently come to know. In the past few days she had really gotten to understand him. Spending the nights with him and occasionally seeing him escorting the senator around. It was in this time that she had come to realize that Cale, even though he barely knew her, cared more about her well being than anyone else in the world. Even her foster parents. Granted the loved her dearly and they did what they could to help her. But somehow it just wasn't the same. Cale had that feeling that only an older brother can give a little sister when he is protecting her. He was always worrying about her when he wasn't around and was always curious as to what she did in school. More so because he had never gotten the chance to go to school himself. He had become much more open with her about his life, letting her know how their mother was attacked by some....human, who had shot and had thought he had killed Cale. Even Cale thought he had died until he woke up four days later in a hospital bed. He had told her about his life and she was amazed to see that someone could go through so much pain and torture in their lives and end up as nice of a person as he was. She had still yet to see his more asshole-ish side. However, this was the first time she had ever really watched him fight. When she first met him she had seen little more than him standing in the center of an abandoned ware house surrounded by furs and humans with Terry next to him. This time, she was able to see the whole ordeal and was more than a little worried. That was until Terry finally returned back to their sides.

"Alright Cale, once again you deliver the goods. The crowd loved you, not only did you take on two opponents at the same time, you got your ass kicked doing it. So, here's your cut. Twenty-seven thousand. And uh....you got an offer from some inner city fighting club to join their team. They say they want you in and that you have the stuff they want. Now...before you get all excited, let me tell you the facts about this. If you join their team, your winnings, will be cut drastically, all your money will be split between everyone. That and you will be fighting on their terms, not your own. They will choose your fights for you." Cale simply laughed as he placed a hand on Terry's shoulder.

"How's that any different from working for you Terry? Don't worry, I'm not tossing you to the side that easily." Cale smiled as he gripped Terry's paw, giving it a firm shake. The group had began exiting the chop shop when they were stopped by a group of foxes. Most of them were just wearing shredded shorts and shirts, some were dressed more casually though. However, they all had one thing in common besides their species. Each of them had the same tattoo of a half black half white star on their paws. A gang obviously.

"Hey human, you did pretty good out there tonight. It isn't often we get to see a real show around here." One of the foxes said, he seemed to be older than the rest. Cale only nodded still walking past them, Terry ushering Nicky to leave as well.

"Hey, we need someone like you. Someone with your particular talents. If you're interested, we'll be at your next fight." The group walked off. Cale wondered how they knew where he was going to be fighting next until he was reminded by Terry that there was a cage match at a local night club down town. It was going to be the biggest match that week and that a lot of big name fighters were going to be there as well as other talent scouts for groups like U.F.C. and Tap Out. Which meant big stakes and even bigger money.

After getting Cale completely cleaned up the group had went out to a local T.G.I.Friday's to celebrate. Terry had offered to buy since it was his idea anyways. The meal went really well. Nichole and Terry had a chance to get to know each other better, while the rest of the time was spent sharing stories and laughing over jokes. By the time the night had wound down the group was going separate ways. Terry was off to see his wife and kids, while Cale and Nicky were heading back to her house as usual. They were glad they had listened to Terry and parked Nicky's car in a parking lot across from the ware house instead of with the other cars. A good number of those vehicles ended up in pieces or missing tires. Nicky drove a relatively nice car for a sixteen year old. A well kept dodge neon painted metallic silver. The two of them listened to a popular radio station that mostly played bands like Death Cab for Cutie, Second Hand Serenade and Reliant K. It wasn't Cale's favorite music, but it provided background noise along with their conversations about how Nicky's school life was going. Cale had learned that Nicky was a popular girl at school, but not without problems. She had plenty of friends, but she also had plenty of males wanting to be more than just friends. Cale could understand, Nichole wasn't like many of the other foxes, she was exotic, not only that but she was drop dead gorgeous as well. She had let him know that a lot of her friends were trying to get her to go out with a few guys and she kept turning them down. When Cale asked why she replied with the statement that she didn't want to date someone who only wanted to mate with her. It was an answer that relieved Cale, at least his little sister wasn't an over sexed female like most girls these days. By the time they got home, Nicky had found out that her parents were gone for the night and that they had taken her little sister with them. It was the first time that Cale had the opportunity to see her house outside her bedroom. She really did live in a nice house. It was a lot bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside, and that was really saying something since it looked huge on the outside. Nichole's family was most definitely rich. Stylish and trendy furniture decorated every room and a massive flat screen HDTV took up a chunk of their living room. All in all Cale was amazed, and at the same time he was comforted to know his sister was being taken care of.

"Jeez sis, think your parents would adopt me too?" Cale joked as they sat down on a couch in the living room.

"Sure, you just make sure to ask them really nice and I am positive they will adopt a 22 year old stranger." She giggled as she hugged her brother and leaned against him, purring as she felt his fingers stroking through the fur on her arms. The two had come to an understanding that they had very wide comfort zones as far as touching went. Nicky was very affectionate and wouldn't hesitate to give Cale a kiss on the cheek at any given moment. Cale on the other hand was just trying to keep in her comfort zone. Still plagued by thoughts of his sister naked in the mirror and the taboo act he had commited in the shower. It was because of those memories that moments like this were sometimes difficult for him. He smiled and sighed as he laid back, Nicky readjusting herself to lay against his chest.

"Mmmm, you smell good brother..." She muttered starting to fall asleep. Cale didn't really know how to reply to that answer though.

"Um, thank you?" He replied almost questioningly and laughing slightly, an act that caused Nichole to laugh with him.

"I'm sorry Cale, I just meant that your scent really relaxes me. It makes me feel...I don't know, safe." Her words came out with a hint of shyness and it was easy enough to tell that she was blushing beneath her bleach white fur. Cale laughed at this and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"I'm glad you feel safe around me sis. I always want you to feel safe and comfortable around me. Because now that I've finally found you. I'm never going to let anyone or anything hurt

you." Cale smiled as Nicky nuzzled even closer to his chest. However his smile faded as he felt a wet spot growing on his shirt where her face was.

"N-Nichole..." He gently placed a hand on the side of her head, issuing forth a small sob from the vixen.

"I...I'm sorry Cale. It's just that, no one has ever made me feel so loved and protected, so needed." Nicky hugged Cale even harder, her lithe body pressing against his as they lay down on the couch together. Cale simply started rubbing her back, eventually wrapping his arms around her and returning her hug. Cale was never much for knowing how to deal with emotional moments, but somehow, this time he just knew what he was doing was the right thing.

"Shhh...it's ok sis. I promise I'm always going to be here for you. I'll always be here to make you feel needed." He hugged her tightly and continued rubbing her back as he whispered soft words of brotherly love into her ear, trying to soothe her. Eventually it worked and she was laying fast asleep on his chest. The two stayed that way for the longest time before sleep finally claimed Cale as well.

Thunder boomed across the skies as lightning illuminated the grinning face of a rust red fox standing in an alleyway, his paw gripping a pistol pointed at both mother and child. Time seemed to stop as the muzzle flash of the pistol exploded into the alleyway. In a second, Cale was standing there. Watching the bullet as it lazily traveled through the air, no faster than a slug crawling across a rock. Looking back to the fox, the beast's blue eyes were just beginning to close, revealing a long scar on the left side of his face, his hand starting to jerk back, the sleeve of his jacket rising up to reveal a strange mark. Somehow it was familiar to Cale, a star, half black, half white....In an instant time sped back up and the screams of a mother filled the night sky. Cale himself, waking up with a jolt, his eyes wide and alert. His mouth just barely opening as he whispered:
