With the first crack of light falling onto her closed eyes, Jess slowly began to awake despite her best efforts to pull herself back into the dream world she had just been in. The fennec rolled over to bury her face into her pillow but instead of the familiar feathery softness that was her pillow, she was met with something else entirely. Barely cracking her eyes open, she perked her large ears, or rather ear since one was caught by something which she would deal with later when her mind awoke enough, and found her face buried in the ear of her sister. As more of the world came into focus, Jess felt Melissa shift and in the process flicker her own ears to register the world around her before trying to open her eyes to face the sunlight coming through the window. Though while doing this, Melissa buried Jess' face even deeper into the soft white furred fennec ear until her world was fluffy fur and the gentle press of the ear's membrane. Mumbling as she rubbed her face into the large ear of her fellow fennec, "Morning Melissa. Some party last night wasn't it?"

She stopped rubbing as she realized two things; one was that she was naked and the other was that everyone else was probably in the same state. A flick of her tail back to brush against the body behind her confirmed this but before she could dwell on it too much, the body she hit gave a soft groan though it was muffled due to her still pinned other ear. Deciding that was now worth her attention, she rolled over and in the process the ear that was once bent slightly thanks to the angle she was laying sprang up into the open air above the bed. Now getting even better auditory input, she could hear two other people aside from that of her sister shifting under the covers. Turning full on to see who was pinning her ear, she saw her half brother who was a mix of fennec and rabbit to give him especially long ears that drooped a little but still hung tall atop his head. He was flat out; face down into his pillow with both tan and brown spotted ears pressing up against the headboard of her bed. Just beyond him was another body hidden under the covers but all Jess could see were two great ears sticking out from the depth of the soft covers which she figured belonged to Rose, her other fennec sister. Though Rose was hidden it was a safe guess that her sister fennec was equally bare.

Pushing at her family member to get him off her ear, she grumbled, "Off Jim, I need that ear." Just as Jim rolled off and onto his back with a soft snore, Jess had a moment to enjoy having her ears free before Melissa made her presence known by hugging Jess from behind and putting her head on top of her sister's. Nuzzling affectionately into the soft ears of her sibling, Melissa flickered her own so both she and Jess' ears were laying side by side to form a great double V set of fluffiness. "Morning sis, and yes it was. Hey Jim," whapping his chest with her palm to get him to wake up with a snort, "Bring your ears over here to add to the collective of cute we've got going on. Oh, and grab Rose too." Rose merely mumbled and buried her head deeper into the covers until only half of her light furred ears were visible. If there was a, "morning hair" equivalent for ear fur, Rose definitely had it as the fur on the inside of her ears was askew.

Like the pieces of a puzzle falling into place, as Jess' mind continued to wake up she began to remember in full detail what all transpired last night. Grabbing her pillow and burying her face in it, she tucked her head deeper to blot out the blush that she couldn't stop from creeping up onto her cheeks. In the process this made her ears stand up taller than ever. The sight of this had Melissa giggling incessantly which made Jess blush even harder, "Aww, her ears are getting hot. I think she's remembering the ear play that started it all."

Indeed, such thoughts did begin to filter through Jess' mind, though the train of thought was slightly interrupted by the flop of Jim's extra large ear on top of her head as he rolled over to cuddle all three of his sisters at once. With a grunt of protest from Rose, he had managed to hook his arm around her and pull her along with half of the blankets to wedge the smaller fennec between the three of them so now there were four pairs of ears mashed together into a bundle.

Jess mumbled into her pillow, "You're all horrible," and of course Melissa had to snicker mischievously, "You love it." Those were the exact same words Melissa had said last night when they were all sitting on the couch enjoying a movie and some popcorn together as a family. There they were all cuddled up when that evil sister of hers decided it would be funny to cup and play with Jess' ears. Despite Jess' initial protests, those soon faded as her greatest fluffy weakness was exploited to the fullest. She wasn't the only one receiving such attentions since while the outer rim and backs of her soft ears were mercilessly toyed with, Rose had gotten the worst of it. Spotting an opportunity, Jim had turned to play with Rose's ears until she was given, "Ear play" to the fullest extent and in every way possible last night. It's no wonder the fur on the inside of her ears was so messed up that morning.

Biting into her pillow, Jess wiggled underneath her sister as Melissa's fingers came up to tease the very tips of her ears. The wiggling turned into a full body shudder as her sister took one ear gently between her teeth and ran them over the thin membrane while Jim cupped her other ear. Each ear was big enough to lose your hand in and Jim had curled four of his fingers inside to roll them back and forth while his thumb caught and pressed the outside of her ear. Finally, Jess pulled the pillow out of her mouth and bopped it against Jim's face with a grumbling groan, "Fine then, I didn't need to get out of bed today anyways."
