It is always disorientating when you wake up and do not know where you are. I hate that feeling, but it is one I have gotten used to over the past few years. When I was with zero, I was not used to it yet and as I woke up my first day at his home, I screamed bloody murder.

"Are you alright?" Zero rushed to my side. He checked over me, seeing nothing wrong except my previous wounds he looked at me and smiled. "Good, you do seem to recover very quickly."

I sat up, looking around, I was in my human form, and still a little lightheaded. I looked at Zero, and remembered what had happened.

"Where am I? What did you do to me?"

"You are in my home, at the foot of a mountain surrounded by hot springs. I have healed you from where you were hurt by Edge. Other than that I have looked after you while you have slept. And before I answer any more questions you are going to eat so you don't die of starvation on me before I can ask you any."

He laid a bowl of steaming broth and a slice of bread and butter next to me and disappeared momentarily. I watched him go and looked at the bowl. I was hungry, but how did I know I could trust him. Nothing seemed to be wrong with me so I gave in to my hunger and ate.

When Zero returned, he set a glass of water on the small table for me.

"May I join you?"

"Well, yes, it is your home after all."

He set a bowl for himself, seating himself. He was quiet; every now and then I would look up and see him looking at his food. I felt a little strange, eating with my captor, but I didn't say anything and looked back at my bowl as I finished.

After we both had finished we started the question and answer session again, Zero started.

"Where did you come from?"

"An enchanted forest, my family was destroyed so I decided to go out on my own to find a new place to live, and I ended up at that party where I met Edge."

"Not a very bright dragon, are you?"

"How did you know I was a dragon?"

"You changed in your sleep, and I have an eye for magickal creatures."

"Alright, my turn why am I here? And what are you going to do with me?"

"That's two. You are hear because I found my home was a safer place for a hurt dragon fairy to rest, and I am not going to do anything with you unless you want me to. I just was healing you, you intrigue me, and it annoys Edge so I thought it would be a good idea."

"Well thank you for taking care of me."

"Your welcome, my turn. How long are you going to stay, after you are healed, and what can I do with you?"

"What?"

"You heard me."

"Well, I don't rightly know... I don't have any where else to go, and I would rather you not do anything bad to me if you have to do anything to me."

"Alright then, I think that's about it for now."

"What, it's my turn."

"No, that's enough for now. You need to rest, and I have to go shopping for dinner, I'm not used to actually having to feed anyone. If you feel well enough you can rest in one of the hot springs outside."

He left again, and I laid back falling asleep again. I awoke, and he was still gone so I decided to explore. The house was small, with one bed, a kitchen area, and the room I had been asleep in, with a table pushed up against the wall.

I wandered outside, and looked around. The mountain was lovely, and created kind of a bowl between the roots, witch provided a shelter for the hot springs. There was also a very nice cave at the base of the mountain as well, that any respectable dragon would love to call home. There was a spring just outside of the opening, and I looked around seeing how it was abandoned and seemingly useless. I had to remember to ask about it later.

I made my way to a spring, and finding that they had different temperatures I found a comfortable one. I tried to transform, but for some reason I still couldn't. I undressed and slid into the water, relaxing as the hot water cursed over my tired body. I wish I had been in dragon form, but it was relaxing, I soon fell asleep again.

To be continued ...
