Tell me - medium poem
This poem has come from a recent issue that has sprouted between myself and a new friend. I won't go into detail or anything, but this problem has deeply hurt me. I can only hope things between this person and I can get smoothed out and we all move on with our lives. I wrote this on 1/1/2017.

I've offended your being.
How I could impact you so.
When I don't even know you.
Tell, tell me how,
Your betrayal is my fault.
How my trust is lacking.
For helping one in need.
Tell, tell me how,
I'm supposed to feel, and react.
When I'm being questioned.
When the trust I take pride in, is forgotten.
Tell, tell me how,
You can put down your teacher.
I put my hearts and soul into teaching you.
How can you accept the life I taught.
Tell, tell me how,
Irrational thoughts are suddenly your reality.
You refused the simple truths.
Now you're paying the price.
Tell, tell me how,
I'm supposed to rely on you.
Stand by your side and defend you.
When you won't do the same for me.
