Round one Part 2; Reptile Madness

- * * I'll start where I left off, Jackie. Was about to duel, Leon Pewo. Where the winner will advance to the next round and after that I have another duel, but I'm not in it. Let the games continue. Jackie drew his card, "I summon Axe Raider in attack mode (ATK/1700 DEF/1150) and two cards face down, and end my turn." Leon drew his card, "I summon Venom Snake in attack mode (ATK/1200 DEF/600) and play the field spell Venom Swamp." A swamp hologram appeared around them. "As long this card is on the field every monster gains a venom counter, and loses five hundred attack points." Axe Raider (ATK/1200 DEF/1150) "I set this card face down and end my turn." Jackie drew his card, 'Great, every monster I play will lose five hundred attack points.' "I summon Gearfried The Iron Knight (ATK/1800 but get's reduced ATK/1300 DEF/1600) attack his Venom Snake." His knight was about to attack, until Leon pulled a fast one. "Activate trap; Venom Burn." Leon trap card revealed itself, "For every venom counter I remove you lose seven hundred life points." Jackie LP:2600 Leon LP:3400 "Your turn Axe Raider." Jackie's monster attack landed Jackie LP:2600 Leon LP:1700 "I end my turn." Leon drew his card, "I summon Venom Serpent (ATK/1000 DEF/800) as long he's on the field I can place one venom counter on one of your monsters, and I pick your Gearfried. And thanks to my field spell both of your monsters get another counter." Axe Raider (ATK/1200) Gearfried (ATK/800) "Attack his Gearfried." "Go; Skull Dice. Whatever number I roll, that's how many attack points you lose, go dice roll." The little fairy drop the die and it landed on a one, "What? Why me?" Venom Snake (ATK/900 DEF/700) "Venom Snake attack his Gearfried, now." Leon monster destroyed Jackie's Jackie LP:2500 Leon LP:1700 "I play Nightmare's Steelcage, and this face down, and end my turn." Jackie drew his card, "I set a monster face down and set this card face down, and switch my knight to defense mode. I end my turn." Leon drew his card, "I summon Hydra Viper (ATK/1800 DEF/400) and set this card face down and end my turn." Jackie drew his card, "I activate Pot Of Greed, which let's me draw two cards." He drew his two cards, "Yeah, I set this card face down and end my turn. Now your cage goes bye-bye." "Two turns is all I needed." Leon drew his card, "I tribute my two monsters to summon Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes (ATK/0 DEF/0)" "Big deal, Leon. Its the weakest monster on the field." Jackie insulted, Leon's monster. "That's what you think, for every reptile monster in my graveyard. He gains five hundred attack and defense points (ATK/1500 DEF/1500) next I activate Solidarity, now he gains eight hundred extra attack points (ATK/2300 DEF/1500) attack his Axe Raider." His monster destroyed Jackies, but since it was defense mode. He didn't lose any life point's. "I end my turn." Jackie drew his card, "Prepare to kiss your monster good-bye, I summon Red-Eyes Black Dragon (ATK/2400 DEF/2000) and activate Metalmorph. Now I can summon this Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon (ATK/2800 DEF/2400) I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your field spell." I gust of wind destroyed the swamp field. "Attack his monster, with Flash Flare Blast." Jackie's attack destroyed Leon's monster. Jackie LP:2500 Leon LP:1200 "I end my turn." Leon drew his card, "I activate the trap card Rise of the Snake Deity, so I can play this Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes (ATK/0 DEF/0)" "Great, more snakes." Jackie said with a sigh "Marvelous reptiles aren't they, this card gains five hundred attack and defense points (ATK/2000 DEF/2000) and thanks to my Solidarity, it gains an extra eight hundred (ATK/2800) Next I activate Venom Shot; I send one reptile-type from my deck to the graveyard." Leon put a monster card in the graveyard, "so one of your monsters get's two venom counters. I end my turn." Jackie drew his card, "I activate Monster Reborn to bring back my Red-Eyes. Now I tribute all three of my monster's to bring out my ultimate fightning machine." All three of his monster's shattered and his new one took to the field. Lightning bolts flew past Leon head. "Meet Gilford the Lightning (ATK/2800 DEF/1400) all the monsters on your side of the field are destroyed, Lightning Sword attack." Both monsters attacked and destroyed each other. "I end my turn." Leon drew his card, "I summon Venom Cobra (ATK/100 thanks to Solidarity ATK/900 DEF/2000) I use my Deity effect by removing one reptile, I can bring it back (ATK/2300 DEF/1500) just like I thought, you don't belong here, Jackie. So I'll do us all a favor and eliminate you. Attack my serpentines." Both of leon's monsters attack. "I'm not going anywhere, thanks to this, go Scaregoat." Jackie's card revealed itself and four little goats came out, but two were destroyed. "I set this card face down and end my turn." Jackie drew his card, "Jackpot I activate Soul Release, I remove all the cards in your graveyard from play. Making your monster zero attack point's, it worked." Deity (ATK/0 DEF/0) "No. You can't beat my most powerful snake monster, I'll get you for this, Jackie. Mark my words." Leon said "Yeah, yeah, whatever. I summon Panther Warrior (ATK/2000 DEF/1600) and activate Double Summon. To summon Time Wizard (ATK/500 DEF/400) and use his effect. I flip a coin and call heads or tails, if get it right all your monsters are destroyed, and if I'm wrong all my monsters get destroyed instead." Jackie flipped a coin, "Heads." He caught it. "Yes. Kiss your two snakes good-bye." But only Venom cobra was destroy. Leon laughed, "My Deity can't be destroyed by card effects." "I guess, I'll have to rely on attacks then. Panther attack and destroy his monster." A scapegoat was absorbed into the panthers sword. "Oh, dear." Leon said in defeat Jackie's attack landed bring Leon's life point's to zero. The holograms turned off and their duel disks deactivated. Leon stormed out of the arena not looking back. As for Jackie he came to the back better than he came out. "What do you think of that, Spence? Not bad for my first victory. I do say so myself." Jackie boasted "Please, Cypress. That was luck." Smith said out of nowhere, and continued, "anybody could've beaten Leon." "You got some nerve, Smith. Coming in here and put me down. What did I ever do to you?" Jackie questioned getting upset. "Why? Because, I don't like you, Cypress. Your just another third-rate duelist, trying to make his way to the top, when he knows. He doesn't stand a chance against a duelist like me." Smith said trying to make a statement "When we go up against each other, and I hope we do, you'll be sorry that you ever met me." Jackie clutching his paws even tighter, trying everything in his power to not hit, Smith. Square in the nose. "That's if we do." Smith said turning and walking away. The last duel started and sometime later it ended with wasp by the name of Singe won and advanced to the next round. Which starts in the morning, so all the remaining duelist went back to their hotel rooms. That was paid for by the duel monsters creator. Tomorrow is another day. I hope you enjoyed.
