Dargon and Elise are best friends. Dargon was tall and lean, green and blue scales covered his body from head to tail tip. His beautiful green eyes always had the mysterious sparkle. Dargon stood on his hind legs, he only stood about seven foot tall, after all, he was still a young dragon.

His best friend; Elise, was human. Her light brown hair fell to the back of her knees and was always pulled back in a tight braid. Elise was tall, she stood nearly six foot tall and was thin and lean. Elise wasn't normal thin either, she had muscle on her as well. Elise's gray eyes always had an innocent glow to them, Dargon loved her eyes. Particularly when she smiled.

And today, the two of them where hanging out together in the woods. Dargon sat up in the tree, supposedly dozing, while Elise sat under the tree reading a book. Elise noticed a heavy weight on the top of her head. Elise looked up, Dargons tail had slipped from the branch and hung over the side. Elise shrugged and turned back to her reading, she instinctively reached up and massaged her friends tail.

"Hey, Elise, mind scratching a little harder?"

Elise looked up at her friend, he was awake and reading a book of his own.

"I thought you were sleeping?" Elise asked.

"I was." Dargon answered and dropped his book to the ground. "Mind scratching a little harder?"

Elise thought it over for a minute, "Scratch it yourself, you lazy dragon." she answered while laughing.

Dargon dropped from the tree and tackled Elise, she squeaked softly and giggled, Dargon tickled her ribs softly.

"Lazy, huh?" Dargon smirked and kissed Elise on the forehead. "I'll show you lazy!"

Elise squeaked again and tried to wriggle, fruitlessly, out of her best friends' grasp. Dargon tickled his friend all over, her laughter echoed sweetly throughout the forest. Elise's tanned skin turned slightly pink in her face as she laughed. Dargon picked up his friend and hugged her gently. Elise smiled and snuggled in her friends' grasp.

"You win, you win." Elise admitted, tapping her friend on the cheek. "You're not a lazy dragon."

Dargon smiled.

"You're just plain cruel!"

Elise laughed while Dargon shook his head, he hugged his friend tight enough for her to squeak. Dargon snuggled against Elise's sweater.

"You're soft!" Dargon smiled darkly.

"Uh-oh...." Elise muttered and squirmed in her friends grasp.

"I'll bet you make a good pillow." Dargon mused to himself as he hugged Elise again.

"You're sure in a loveable mood." Elise accused her friend, only this time she wasn't laughing. "Is something wrong?"

Dargon bit down on his tongue and shook his head.

"Dargon," Elise said sternly. "How long have we known each other?"

Dargon thought for a few minutes before replying; "Eighteen years?"

"Longer?" Elise offered. "And in all this time, you know I can see that something is wrong. Come on, tell me! Or I get to torture it out of you."

"Is that a threat?" Dargon asked his friend as he tilted his head at her.

"That is a promise."

Dargon laughed at his friends' threat, she was just playing, he knew, but he also knew she would deliver on this promise if need be. "And how do you intend to 'torture' me?"

Elise smiled but didn't answer her friend. She got up and picked up her satchel and the two discarded books. Stuffing the two books in her bag she looked up at her draconic friend.

"Are you coming or not?"

"Where are we going?"

Elise climbed into her friends lap and kissed his cheeks. "My house. I'm baking cookies and pies today. Care to help?"

"But you don't let me help when you cook."

"Ok, let me rephrase this; Want to keep me company?"

Dargon smiled and kissed his friends neck softly. "Sure."

Elise smiled and got up, Dargon took his friend by the hand and walked with her, the two spoke idly. Elise fished her house keys out of her pocket and opened the door. Elise lived alone, save for her gray pet cat, Bob; whom slept lazily on the window ceil. Elise dropped her bag and keys on the table beside the door and walked into the kitchen, humming a tune only she could hear. Dargon picked up the mail and flipped through it as Elise opened cabinets and took out ingredients for making cherry pie.

"Hey, Elise?"

Elise looked up at Dargon from her cookbook. "What?"

"You got a letter."

Elise tilted her head at her friend and dumped the flour into a bowl. "From who?"

"Don't say." Dargon answered.

"Odd, open it for me, would you?"

Dargon nodded and opened the letter, his eyes widened slightly and he smirked softly. After rereading the letter more then once, Dargon burst into laughter.

"Dargon!" Elise shook her head. "What does it say? I got dough all over me."

"Elise, you got a love letter!" Dargon managed to say through laughter. "From a secret admirer, too."

Elise took the letter and read through it, it was indeed as her friend said, a love letter.

"My Darling Elise," Elise read aloud. "Tell me how does the sun feel? Is it jealous when you step out into the day? For surly it must be, for your smile is so bright, the gentle glow of your skin so great that it could cancel out the light of the sun. The stars glow green with envy for your beautiful features." Elise stopped reading aloud to finish the letter.

Dargon watched his best friends features as she read the letter, she blushed softly. Elise finished the letter and stuffed it back into the envelope, she walked to the fireplace and dropped the letter into the flames. Dargon watched her do this with interest. Elise shook slightly.

"That's the third letter like that I had gotten, I don't want to get any more."

Dargon felt the sudden impulse to hug his friend, she seemed upset about it. Before he knew what he was doing, Dargon grabbed his friend and hugged her tightly. Elise buried her face in Dargons' tunic. Dargon kissed his beloved friend on the top of the head, he spoke softly, telling her that things would be okay. He also told her that he would find the person that was writing to her and tell them to stop.

Elise looked up at her friend and kissed his cheek softly. "Thanks, Dargon, you're the best friend I could possibly have."

"Elise," Dargon smiled. "I'm your only friend."

Elise smiled and nodded. "Good point."

Dargon nodded to the readied pie sitting on the counter. "Don't you have to cook that thing?"

"Oh, thanks for reminding me." Elise wriggled out of her friends grasp and put the little pies into the oven to cook. "In twenty minutes time, you will be eating nice hot cherry pie. Do you want to take some home to your room mates?" Elise asked, she set the timer for fifteen minutes.

"Elise, I got my own place now, remember?" Dargon asked as he nibbled on some of the extra dough.

"Oh, yeah, sorry, I forgot you moved out last week." Elise blushed softly and smiled. "How are you enjoying your new place?"

Dargon nodded and swallowed the dough in his mouth. "I like it, it's close to work and I don't have to worry about transportation. Its only a few minutes walk to work and the grocery store as well."

"Sounds cool, but I think I'll stick to my bicycle thanks." Elise winked.

"Yeah, you and that bike, I can never get you off it." Dargon laughed at Elise as she stuck her tongue out at her friend.

The pie was hot and very tasty, Dargon and Elise each took a little pie and ate it in the living room as they spoke some more. The afternoon started to wane slowly but neither of the two friends noticed. They both wrote short stories as a hobby and came up with a few ideas that afternoon, Elise wrote them all down because Dargon had terrible handwriting, or so he claimed. Elise sat on the floor leaning against the couch while Dargon lay stretched out on the couch. Dargon softly pressed his muzzle against his friends neck, kissing her softly. Elise reached up and massaged Dargons neck out of habit as she wrote.

"Elise," Dargon whispered softly in her ear.

"What?" Elise asked as she kept writing.

Dargon slipped his arm around his friend, taking the pencil out of her hand and holding it out of her reach. Elise laughed and reached for the pencil, Dargon smiled as he moved it out of her reach again, Elise got up off the floor and crawled onto her friends chest, still unable to reach the pencil. Dargon dropped the pencil behind the couch and wrapped his arms around his friend in a hug. Elise hugged back tenderly, Dargon gently kissed Elise's neck again. Elise pulled away from Dargon slightly, she looked down at her friend. Dargon was unable to read her expression, there was an emotion in her eyes that he hadn't seen in years, he didn't remember what it was. Dargon pulled Elise towards him and kissed her lips softly. He gently reached down and pulled Elise's dress up slightly, pulling her abdomen towards his own. Elise slipped her arms around Dargons neck, returning his kiss with unrivaled passion. Elise untied Dargons pants, pulling them down enough to reveal his sheath.

The door bell rang and Elise suddenly looked up, Elise's sudden movement made Dargon shift and Elise slid off his lap and onto the floor.

"Oh, Elise, I'm sorry."

"It's ok, just let me get the door." Elise got up off the floor and answered the door. "Its just the delivery man." Elise called to her friend and took the package.

Dargon retied the leather on his pants as Elise came back into the living room, her cousin had sent her a package of chocolates for congratulations on passing a major test at her school. Elise opened the package and shared the chocolates with Dargon. Dargon watched Elise as she rambled on about the test she had taken, he was suddenly wracked with guilt and he didn't know why. He had just moved on impulse, he and his friend had spent years together, making fun of the idea of sex and relationships. Dargon was so very lost in his thoughts he didn't even notice that Elise had stopped talking and crawled into his lap.

"Something is wrong, I can see it." Elise said softly. "Please my dear friend, tell me."

Dargon looked up at Elise, he softly kissed his friend. Dargon gently wrapped his arms around Elise's waist, slipping a hand into her dress. Elise leaned back slightly, Dargon kissed her neck and her chest gently.

"Dargon, tell me what is wrong." Elise asked softly.

Dargon sighed and picked Elise up as he stood. He hugged her gently.

"Elise, we have spent years being friends, and I-" Elise put a finger over her friends lips.

"Never mind, I know what you are trying to say."

"I fell in love with you." Dargon finished.

Elise nodded and kissed her beloved friend. "Ditto."

"But I don't want to ruin what we have, I don't want to ruin our friendship."

"Ditto." Elise smiled and kissed Dargon softly. "Want to go upstairs?"

"Will this ruin our relationship?" Dargon asked, he was very worried about their friendship.

Elise shook her head. "No."

Dargon nodded and carried Elise upstairs.

***

Dargon listened to Elise's breathing quietly, she was so beautiful in his eyes. He gently rubbed the tattoo on his beloved friends back, it was of a sleeping kitten. Bob, Dargon thought to himself, she loved that cat more then anything. Moon light spilled into the room from the window, the light covered the bed and part of the wall like a silver blanket. Dargons heart ached slightly. How he loved his dear friend.

Dargon suddenly realized that his friend was awake, she gazed up at Dargon and kissed him softly. Dargon simply melted. He kissed his beloved friend passionately, pressing his forked tongue into Elise's mouth gently, twisting his tongue around Elise's. Dargon spread Elise's legs gently to press against her. His sheath parted and Dargons' genitalia pressed into Elise's vagina. Dargon loved all the little noises Elise made, he found it very satisfying. Dargon nibbled on Elise's neck softly, thrusting harder and harder. Elise panted softly in ecstasy while Dargon pressed his muzzle against her, feeling her soft, tender, skin. Elise wrapped her legs around her friends torso, making him press his precious muscle deeper into her abdomen. In and out, he trust harder and harder. Elise's insides started to hurt, Dargon was pressing his penis too deeply into her abdomen but she didn't say anything about it. She couldn't actually, between her screams of pleasure and the passionate kisses with Dargon, it was impossible to say so. Dargon gently ran his fingers over Elise's abdomen, tickling her slowly. The act of doing so increased her pleasure three-fold. Dargons hot, sticky, seed squirted into Elise's vagina, coating her insides heavily. Elise's gasps where caught in her throat, all she could do was continue to breath deeply, again, between the shared kisses. Dargon grabbed Elise tightly by her thighs to help in the trusting. The two was wrapped tightly in the sheets on the bed, neither could have gotten lose if they wanted to. Luckily, neither wanted to, not for a long while any ways. Still Dargon pumped his seed into his friend, Elise's vagina and inside muscles tightened around Dargons penis. Elise instinctively loosened and tightened her grip on the organ. She suddenly started to purr softly and still Dargon pumped his seed into her body at a very steady pace. Dargon growled softly every time Elise tightened her grip around Dargons penis, making him roar once or twice himself.

"I'm sure," Elise breathed when Dargons gentle trusting had slowed down, "That my neighbors... are going to complain-" Elise screamed softly and Dargon roared.

"In the morning?" Dargon whispered softly in Elise's ear. She nodded slightly and gasped softly as Dargon tightened his grip on her legs. "They wouldn't dare."

Both Dargon and Elise laughed softly, panting, while Dargon still thrusted his hips against Elise's. Pleasure overwhelmed the two lovers in waves of passion. Elise's body tingled, it felt like her whole body was suddenly waking up from being asleep, as she took in the draconic seed. Dargon sighed softly, a great pressure was being lifted up off his shoulders, or abdomen as the case may be on this night.

Morning came faster then the two had expected. Elise got up and took a fast shower before work. She was supposed to be at work by nine. Dargon didn't have to be at work until three, so he promised he'd meet Elise at a little bistro in town.

Dargon spent the morning in the Elise's living room, writing down some short story ideas and talking to Bob the cat. Bob was no help at all when it came to writing, no big surprise. Dargon picked up Bob and stroked the fur on his back.

"Bob, what do you think of me and your pet getting together?" Dargon asked. "Do you think she would agree to my offer? Bob, does Elise love me as I love her?"

Dargon shook his head and stared up at the clock. He still had another hour to wait until Elise had time off for lunch. "Bob, would you be mad if I asked Elise if she would be willing to marry me?"

Bob meowed fitfully and Dargon put him down.

"You're right, that's moving too fast. Let's just do this one day at a time, okay?" Dargon asked. Bob purred softly and walked out of the room. Dargon took that as a way of agreement. The light purring reminded him of Elise, she liked to purr as well. "Elise, you're turning into your cat." Dargon said to the empty room.

Elise worked at a local book store, not far from where she was supposed to meet Dargon but she was late anyhow.

"I'm sorry Dargon, the lunch rush, you know?" Elise said as she slid into the booth and kissed her friend on the cheek.

"Elise," Dargon started. "We need to talk-"

"About last night?" Elise interrupted, Dargon nodded. "I agree."

Dargon looked up at his friend. "You do?"

Elise nodded. "Yes, I do. Dargon, I value your friendship too much to be a lover of any sort with you."

"As do I." Dargon interrupted. "Elise, I don't think we should do that any more, I'm sorry."

Elise smiled brightly and hugged Dargon. "Dargon, I agree! What a relief. Oh, don't be sorry. We would have failed as lovers anyways."

Dargon laughed and kissed Elise on the cheek. "Right, neither one of use can keep a relationship longer then a week any ways, and if we had become lovers, it would have ruined our friendship. So, we'll make a pact."

"A pact, huh?" Elise thought it over a second. "Ok, what's the terms?"

"That we stay best friends forever and not do what we did last night together again."

Elise smiled and took her friends hand. "Deal! Now, lets eat, I'm starved!"

And indeed she was, Elise ate the entire right half of the menu and even ordered dessert. Of course it didn't help that Dargon kept betting her she couldn't do it. Elise won fifty bucks by actually doing so, and then started in on the left half, but she could only eat half of it.
