Why the extended version?
I made a small fiction for a contest on www.writing.com. And the more I thought about it this tale could not be done in a flash, and I should make a full story out of it. And sleep is not something that I do often anyway. However, like a good writer I will cover those little eyes first.

The afternoon sun streamed down onto Mary's sweating face she desperately stumbled through the field pushing the grain aside. Ahead was a stump that would provide cover and shelter. The mouse let out a scream and fell to her knees as she felt her water break.
"No,Not here."Mary yelled as she felt a spasm run through her. The young mouse tried to get to her feet only to find the pain to difficult and laid on her back when she felt the first little pup begin to squirm into the world. She screamed out as the little baby fell into the soft grain.

Perking her ears up Cassandra lifted her head waking from her sleep. The kitten rummaged around inside the cardboard box wondering where she was.
"Mommy, mommy? The young kitten questioned frantically.
Cassandra jumped on the side of the box before it tumbled onto its side. Cassandra looked around at the sight of a long country road surrounded by wheat fields.
"Mommy, where are you? The four week old kitten asked to the open field.
The wind carried a smell into the kitten's nose. The kitten soon forgot about the fact that she had just been abandoned and was drawn to the new and curious smell. Cassandra walked along the roadside her whiskers wafting in the wind before she stopped looking at the field. Taking a step onto the ground the kitten felt the summer grass crumble under her feet and pulled her paw back onto the roadway. The sound of a small scream over the hill Cassandra was facing made her look over the grass as she wandered into the grain. Cassandra waved and tumbled over the grain speeding her approach as the smell grew stronger.

Mary felt a spasm evoke her in pain as she before another small baby slid from. Mary took a breath of relief as the pain subsided for a second before noticing the small kitten sitting in front of her.
Cassandra looked at the small mouse who was writhing in the grain in front of her. The sweat glistened across the nude body of Mary as she thrashed about trying to get to her feet. A shot of pain over took Mary as she watched the newborn infant blindly wander towards Cassandra.
"What's wrong with you?" Cassandra said as she looked at the mouse while tilting her head.
"Nothing is wrong with me. Now leave!" Mary yelled before she felt a contraction over take her words. The small kitten had a concerned look upon her face and looking at the mouse.
"I... I was just.." Cassandra looked down at the small pup before bringing her face down to it. Cassandra studied the small mouse for a second noticing the blood before she licked the mouse. The blood had a very interesting taste unlike anything Cassandra had tasted before.
"Stop that!! Stop that right no...." Mary's words were cut off before she felt a third baby hit the wheat. Cassandra continued licking the small pup as she watched Mary out of the corner of her eye. The kitten stopped and raised her head so Mary could see the baby clearly as it laid in the wheat."See, I cleaned it for you." Cassandra said in a satisfied voice before wandering over to the second born baby. Mary looked at the first born as she braced for another contraction. The small baby was laying still, with no responses of life in it. The sudden realization of this took over Mary before she looked at the kitten licking at the second child.
"Stop! Is stopping it right now! Mary yelled in a desperate voice.
Cassandra looked at Mary, then thought to herself why she was being yelled at. The young kitten was determined to help, and went back to lick the pup in front of her. Mary watched as the newborn was thrashed into the grain by he young kittens tongue. Mary went to yell at the kitten but was overtaken as a contraction crippled her thoughts.
The kitten heard the mouse scream and then watched as a pup slid out of Mary. Mary neglected the pain that she was wrapped in and got to her feet before running over and sinking her teeth into the kitten's paw. Cassandra let out a loud shout as she flailed her limb into the air. Mary was tossed high upward, then screamed as she came back to the earth landing on top of a rock.
"Why did you bite me? Cassandra wondered looking at Mary laying on the rock.
"I was helping, see." Cassandra looked back at the pup in front of her all clean with a pink glow.
"You feel nice now, don't you little mouse?" Cassandra said looking at the small baby in front of her waiting for it to move. The kitten tilted her head to the side and tapped the unmoving mouse with her paw.
"Why won't she talk to me?"Cassandra said looking at Mary on the rock. The kitten received no response from Mary laying limp on the rock. Cassandra looked at the two mice moving around where Mary was laying. They were full of movement wandering through the wheat than her eyes came upon the mouse she had cleaned then to the one in front of her. She tapped it with her paw and then felt a swelling in her throat as she realized it was not moving at all.
"I..I didn't mean to..." Cassandra said before she ran over to Mary and noticed she was not moving.
"Wake up! Lady wake up!" Cassandra yelled at the limp mouse. She nudged Mary with her paw and let out a gasp at the sight of the mouses cracked skull. The kitten took a few steps backward feeling her hair stand on end. Cassandra looked around for a second and not knowing what to do ran off disappearing into the grain.
***Milly lay next to Sara their hands wrapped tightly around each others. The mice laid in the shade of a small tree looking at the sky. Sara shifted up from her back and laid on her side glancing at Milly.
"Milly you look so lovely" Sara expressed as she ran her hands through Milly's hair slowly looking into her eyes as Milly faced her."Yea, I know" Milly said with a little giggle before giving Sara a little nudge. A grin came across Sara's face as she felt Milly's hand stream down her shoulder.
"I thought we were going to watch the clouds" Sara said looking at Milly.
"I have a better notion" Milly said as she began to stroke Sara's nipples sending shudders through her."Well..." "What can we do? Well, for now we will have to get them out of the sunlight.." Sara almost dropped the burnt pup as her eyes caught the sight of another newborn in front of her. "Is that one alright? Milly asked noticing the pups burnt leg.

"Are there any others?" Milly enquired looking around. Sara set the burnt pup down next to Sara and then ran around looking for other little pups. Milly watched as Sara ran around frantically seeking then returned to her.
"No." The two turned their attention to the three pups laying under Milly.
"They need milk." Sara said in a calm voice.
"They will not survive the night without milk" Sara said as her gaze came down to Milly's breast.
"The fenugreek seed" Milly said understanding what Sara was suggesting.
"But... That will take almost 2 days to alter my hormones enough to produce breast milk. Milly said looking back at a concerned Sara.
"The mother." Sara bursts out as she lifted the burnt child into her arms and then grabbed the healthy male.
"Stay here" Sara ordered as she made her way over to the mother. Sara walked over to the mother and pushed her onto her back. "Ok, go there and eat as much as you can and then grab what you can carry. I will stay here and watch these two until they stop feeding and then bring them to the den." Sara said looking at the brother and sister.

****Within an hour Milly had made her way to the patch of forest where the fenugreek plants grew. Reaching up she stretched and then bent the stem down. The sound of the seeds followed by the sight of the sweet smelling petals caused Milly to breathe a sigh of relief knowing the pups time was brief.
Milly walked over and picked up the seed and slowly chewed at the side. The fenugreek seed has an offensive taste that burned across Milly's tongue. But,once past the protective outer shell Milly entered the soft inside of the seed. Milly stopped licking and slowly let her tongue slip inside the seed grabbing the soft vanilla like gel inside. Milly licked at the seed until there was no more inside than with the vanilla taste still in her mouth Milly Began to chew on the foul tasting outer shell of another seed. The gel inside worked into every crevice and when Milly reached the outer shell of the last seed the taste no longer bothered her. With a swift motion Milly scampered over to another fenugreek plant and then tugged it down dripping the seeds on the forest floor before consuming them.
Milly continued shaking the flowers and eating the seeds until she reached the fifth one and felt her belly ache. Milly knew what was to come and quickly shook the seeds from another four plants and started to collect them on a leaf before feeling a great pain in her chest.
Normally, eating three fenugreek seeds a day would provide larger breast that a growing teenager would want to stand out. But concerned about the children and the thought that the pain would soon subside to Milly had consumed the gel within 16 seeds and now hunched over as her nipples seemed to burn. Milly let out a gasp as she felt a sudden rush run through her midsection.

Milly came to the entrance and was greeted by Sara as she quietly made her way to Milly.

"Ahhhhaa" Milly let out a small cry as she handed the first bundle to Sara hunching over. It was at this time that Sara had noticed Milly's breathing. She had figured it was from the walk but looking at Milly closer she knew differently."What's wrong? Milly said in a low voice.
"Nothing just my stomach hurts, I think I ate to many of the..." There was a short pause from Milly before she let out another small groan this time sliding her hands to her sex. Milly walked into the house and laid on the outstretched bed. Sara had made a nest for the smaller pups and the lack of padding was noticeable when Milly flopped down in the bed.
Sara picked up the seeds and set them next to the entrance before looking down at Milly. Little moans and murmurs escaped the young mouses tender lips and after looking at the pups Sara lay next to her. Looking down at Milly's breast as they lay spread at the sides of Milly's rib cage Sara could not help but notice that only within a few hours that had grown considerably. "Come on. Mom you promised yesterday." Tyler said the little male looking up at his mother.
"Sure we will be honey."Sara said before Milly looked at her.
"You promised them yesterday." Sara said under her breath.
"Yes. But, Sara she is always running off."Milly whispered.
"Well..."Sara said out loud. Samantha's eyes began to well up before she heard.
"I guess she will just have to stay close this time." Sara said before she watched the small mouse 's eyes light up with excitement.
"Now go get ready Samantha" Sara said before looking into Milly's concerned eyes.
"Oh, don't be worry. We will be there and back within a few hours. Besides once we get back Samantha and Tyler will be so tired from all that running around, they will be out like a light."Sara said smiling at Milly..
" let's go honey said before looking at Samantha impatiently standing her dolly in hand and ready to go. Tyler was already out the door with Sara stumbling past to keep up with him.
*******The sweet smell of the apples could be smelt as Samantha crested at the hill. Milly and Sara soon followed behind with some small sacks for carrying back the extra fruit..
"Mommy's look" Samantha said pointing to the apples that stood higher than her on the ground before she ran over and began to nibble upon one.
The day passed quickly, as Samantha ran around feasting upon the sweet apples that the orchard supplied.
While Samantha was always adventurous, Tyler kept closer to Milly helping her place pieces of apple and nuts on a leaf.
"What is that?" Samantha said to her dolly as she spotted something on top of a log
The young mouse began walking towards the log before she realized that it was, in fact, a strawberry.
Samantha had heard about strawberry's but never had one. Samantha thrashed the tall grass aside as she scurried towards the log.
The strawberry's had a taste to them that was flat yet very additive. The one that was on top was quickly consumed before Samantha found herself crawling inside the log where she found more of the sweet fruits.

Sara, Milly, and Tyler had spread out across the orchard gathering the fruit. Sara had seen Samantha run over the hill and was walking toward her. Milly had found a fresh apple and began tucking small pieces into the bag when something entered her nostrils.
Milly's head perked up before the fruit she was holding fell to the ground. Off in the distance was a huge female cat.
Cassandra leaned against a tree playing with the small birds. Her breast following as she playfully jumped into the air. The feline's stomach groaned and she wandered towards the field the tight slender legs making short work of the trek.
Sara walked into the log and then shook her head at Samantha covered in the strawberry's.
"I thought you said you were going to stay close to me?" Sara said smirking.
"Look. Strawberry's" Samantha replied before going back to gnawing on her treat.
"You know Milly thought you would run off." Sara expresses at the mouse looking up at her.
"I know. Tyler told me he would watch her." Samantha says before gnawing upon the fruit.
"Where the hell have you been!" Milly yells as she runs into the log with Tyler quickly behind out of breath..
"Woa, what's wrong?" Sara managed to say between Milly's heavy breathing.
"There is a cat out there, and she is coming this way." Milly says as she looks around the log.
"Mommy, where is the cat?"Samantha said before she slowly walked into her waiting mother's arms. Tyler looked through the log it was damp with moss growing thick on the rotten wood.
"No, the cat is a ways away." Sara says before looking at a silent Milly.
Samantha looked around the log frantically before she notices her dolly sitting in the grass.
"Mommy." Samantha points out into the grass at the small figure.
"I will get it ." Milly said before she cautiously began walking towards the doll out of habit. Milly fell upon her back at the sight of the cat jumping down into the patch of grass in front of her then ran into the log. Cassandra looked around quickly not letting the mouse notice that she had witnessed her dart inside the log. Cassandra playfully smelled and then gave the doll a few taps. Cassandra's eyes follow the path of the disturbed grass into the log before looking up and then around the orchard. Cassandra paused for a second before jumping on top of the log.
The volume was sucked from the mice and replace by fear. Milly held her paw over Samantha's lips as she began to tremble in feeling concern for the doll that she had before.
The footsteps continued for another minute before they were heard walking to the back of the log drifting off.
"I think she is.." Milly said before the light at the end of the log was replaced by darkness.
"Milly!" Sara yelled before Milly was dwarfed by the giant paw. The paw pinned Milly, her mouse from squirming underneath. Milly's head escaped before the sound of yelling could be heard. Samantha was thrown into the air and then grabbed by the cats free paw. The young mouse screamed for her mother as he was brought up to Cassandra's mouth. With a sudden toss Samantha tumbled inside. Cassandra closed her lips behind the little one and enjoyed the taste of the young mouse as she felt her run across the tongue. Cassandra grinned at Sara, who was now crippled in terror of what was going to happen. Cassandra began to tilt her head upward as her eyes followed Sara as she fell to her knees. Samantha screamed as she slid slowly down the tongue clawing at it in a frenzy. The poor mouse was soon at the top of the throat and was confused when she stopped. Cassandra deliberately held off the reflex to swallow until she saw Sara's eyes. With a sudden motion Samantha's feet were sucked down with the rest of her small form following. The walls of Cassandra's throat sucked the air from the mouses lungs as they squeezed pulling her downward.Shocked Sara watched as the lump descended before she was snatched up by Cassandra. Cassandra brought her into the paw containing Milly. Cassandra walked over to a large maple in the field then pushed the two into a pool of sap on the side of the trunk. The two mice squirmed in the sticky sap. But, found that the more they squirmed the further they sunk. Light shined upon the couple as Cassandra pulled her paw free. In a dazed state Milly looked over at the shaking Sara.
"How could she just....." Tears streamed down her face. Milly hugged Sara in a sweet embrace before she noticed Cassandra looming over them.
"Aww. Did I hurt your feelllllllings?"Cassandra purred ironically as she rubbed her belly.
"Damn you!" was all Sara could remark as her sadness was replaced with rage.
"Ohhhh, a feisty one." Cassandra said before rubbing her belly.
"You know I could eat you now." Cassandra said tapping the tree before a small burp escaped between her lips. A grin filled Cassandra's face as she saw that Milly's nipples were aroused from all the activity.
"Oh, it looks like someone is excited. Well, I am usually not one to play with my meals but....." Cassandra brought her paw down and stroked Milly's breast watching as the mouse squirmed letting out subtile moans unwillingly. "Ouch!" Cassandra screamed looking back at Tyler before her paw left Milly resting on the sap. Tyler through the grass with Cassandra swiftly behind before doubling back towards a hole in the trunk."No, you don't." Cassandra said leaping with outstretched paws at the small mouse before landing on her back feet cupping the small mouse in her hands.
"Please, don't eat him." Milly pleaded looking down at Cassandra.
"Eat him? Oh no, I have eaten enough for now." Cassandra said before closing her paw around Tyler and lying against the tree.
"No, I think I will play for a bit. Cassandra said rubbing her closed paw containing Tyler against her sex.
Out of sight of Cassandra Milly quickly worked at her feet free of the sap and grabbed Sara's hands and tugged. Sara's wiggled feeling her arms ache hearing Cassandra below.
"I was going to try the other one. However, you will do fine." Cassandra said as she brought the mouse against her wet lips cupping a paw over him. Tyler squirmed under the paw trying to move free of the sex feeling the four become hotter with every movement.
Milly heard Cassandra let out an unmistakable moan and pictured. What was happening to Tyler?
"We need to do something." Milly said as she pulled Sara out of the pool of sap. Milly was about to run down the tree when Sara stopped her.
