To assist in the understanding of the pronunciation of words of the language of Tashoo, use this letter pronunciation guide. There are very few exceptions to the pronunciation of letters and those are noted.

Because I created a language for my story, I've decided that, perhaps, I should inform potential readers of how to pronounce the letters and letter combinations I use for the words in this language.

Z as in Zebra
Note 1: If U is followed by a vowel, it is pronounced W
Note 2: All syllables are made up of one consonant sound and one vowel sound.
Exceptions are syllables that end in N, R, and S. A syllable can end with these sounds
but, they cannot stand alone. However, if these consonants are followed by a vowel, they
combine into a syllable. The only consonant that a word can end in is N.
Note 3: The ' is used to indicate a glottal stop which in common in the Tashoo language.
