Something that crawled into my head this morning. Hope you enjoy~
Bitter Sweet
I think life itself has a taste.
It is designed by our minds, and the way our lives are lived.
It makes me think if heaven and hell are simply metaphors for such a thought.
To me, I taste bitter sweet.
It's not to say I don't taste other things, but it is the flavor the lingers most
There are good flavors and bad ones, but they are still a part of our pallet regardless
To me, bitter sweet is a terrible thing to taste.
Bitter has a long flavor that stains your mouth, and tolls your body
Sweet only makes me wish I wasn't tasting bitter.
I've tasted many things; savory. spiciness, bland, sour, and simply nothing.
Savory is my favorite.
It is the prime opposite of bitter, and only enhances other flavors.
The sweets feel more natural and welcomed.
Sometimes I ask myself If tasting savory all the time is a sin
I ask myself if tasting bitter is truly tasting.
I ask myself if tasting anything is learning.
I ask myself if tasting nothing is dying.
Flavors get better as you age.
A sort of reverse mechanic, as opposed to aging ingredients.
But it begs the question
Do you have the right ingredients?
