~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jade soared through the moonlit skies above the Winterholm Forest, her dark brown hair flowing gently in the cool night breeze and her black bat eyes searching for any sign of life. How she prayed to Hell for a wanderer to be in the woods tonight; she was growing weary of feasting on feral bucks time and time again. The blood of furs and humans was always much more satisfying, not to mention sweeter to the tongue. Absolute bliss.
The vampire's hand wandered to the shadestone necklace that hung around her neck, clutching it closer to her bosom. Her mind began to wander back to memories of her life before she had become a Nightspawn, a creature of the darkness. She had once been the daughter of a grand archmage bat, and she had always shared his similar passion for the mystic arts. He taught her everything he knew from the day she could speak, and she began to yearn for the life of a journeying sorceress. That day, unfortunately, would never come. When she was twelve years old, Jade was bitten by a human vampire in the dead of night. The only reason she was not drained dry was because her father had heard her screams and used his magic to banish the monster's soul to the darkest reaches of Hell.
Her father knew from experience that anyone injured but not killed by a Nightspawn would contract their dark curse. He knew, thus, that Jade would become a vampire as well. He tried everything he could, but he could not find a way to lift the doom from his beloved daughter. No potion or spell seemed to destroy the darkness that begged to overtake her. Jade told him that it would be best if she fled. To protect her from the light of day, which would normally kill a Nightspawn, her father gave her a shadestone necklace that had once belonged to Jade's mother. Since shadestone was renowned for its highly magical nature, the archmage put an enchantment on it. Instead of killing her, now the sunlight would only cause her to lose her Nightspawn powers and abilities, making her seem like an ordinary fruit bat so long as it remained round her neck. Before she left, her father also made her vow that she would never become a murderous fiend like the one that had made her into what she now was, that she would never feast on an innocent. Jade took the oath, accepted the necklace and bid her father farewell forever.
Jade was now nineteen. She had been traveling from village to village, living in each one as long as she could keep her dark secret. During the day, she kept up her former life as a practitioner of the magical arts, teaching herself many forms of spells and alchemy. At night, she would wander into any sort of wilderness nearby and feast. She knew that her father would despise her, however, as she had broken her word to him. One night when she was sixteen, she could not find any feral creatures in the wilderness. The moon was sinking, and she needed to feed. She found a human female near the village. In desperation, she threw her abandon to the wind and drained her dry. Ever since that night, she could never resist the taste of unferal blood. Though she never forgave herself for what she had done, she had to admit that the taste was beyond anything else.
The vampire's thoughts were broken as she caught sight of a figure wandering in the woods. Obviously bipedal, and likely a fur. Few humans lived in the nearby village, and none of them were brave enough to venture into the forest after nightfall. She lowered her altitude and matched speed with her target as she examined what she hoped would be her nightly feast. It was a grey male wolf, tall and well-built, with a troubled yet purposeful gaze in his deep blue eyes. He was wearing a heavy black cloak, so Jade could not see very well what else he was clad in or if he was carrying a weapon. She had to be cautious, then. She did not want to be injured by this stranger, or killed if he happened to be a Nightspawn Slayer.
Jade followed her quarry from above until he came to a shimmering pool in a clearing. The vampire continued to hover as she watched the wolf remove his cloak and sit down next to the water. Fortunately for Jade, he had only a blue shirt and a pair of brown pants. Not so much as a dagger to protect himself from attackers. Seeing this gave her a slight sense of security. She might get an easier meal than she had feared at first. Now was the time to decide how she would go about doing so. She had to admit, the wolf was rather handsome, and she was tired of forcing her prey into submission. Without much thought, she decided to try seducing him.
The vampire girl landed in a thicket just outside the clearing, being careful not to make a sound. She checked her own well-filled garb. "Perfect." she thought to herself, gently caressing her ample breasts. "A magical gift of charm is good enough, but I probably won't need it along with my natural gifts." Jade ceased her activities and willed her elongated fangs to retract, allowing her to seem more normal until she needed to begin feeding. The time had come to finally put her more subtle vampire abilities to use.
Jade moved to the edge of the thicket and shook a bush with her hands. From her hiding place, she saw the wolf flinch in surprise. "Who goes?" he called out. "Show yourself."
Jade came out, attempting to look innocent. "Please, kind sir." she said, looking into his eyes. "I mean you no harm. I didn't even know that you were here."
The wolf took a moment to look his guest over. To him, she looked like an ordinary fruit bat, clad in tight brown clothing. Eyes of black, a coat of deep brown fur that looked ravishing in the light of the full moon, and leathery wings; nothing unnatural at all. Even though he was trying to hide it, anyone could see that he was rather entranced by her, particularly her more womanly attributes.
"I pray you pardon me." he eventually apologized. "I did not intend to frighten you."
"Nor I you." Jade responded, slowly approaching him. "May I ask your name?"
"Yes." he answered, smiling. "I am called Silver."
"Silver." the bat repeated. "Quite a fitting name for you."
"Truly?"
"Yes. Pure and beautiful." Jade returned his smile, trying to increase her apparent charm.
"Thank you. Now, may I have the pleasure of knowing your own?"
"Of course. I am Jade."
"Oh, now I recall!" Silver exclaimed.
"You've seen me before?"
"Yes. You're the prentice sorceress from the village, are you not?"
"I am. How did you know that?"
"I live there as well. I'm a hunter."
"Truly?" Silver nodded to respond. "Why have I never seen you before?"
"I suppose stealth does not leave you once you make hunting your life."
Jade chuckled. "Understandable." She changed her expression, going from friendly to concerned. "You seem troubled, Silver. What's wrong?"
The wolf's face turned suddenly melancholy, and he stared silently into the water of the pool for a moment. "You're right, I am troubled." Silver looked at her pleadingly. "I should... appreciate a temporary companion tonight."
Jade almost lost her composure. Her prey was inviting her? She was performing better than she could have possibly hoped. Somehow, she managed to remain as she was, merely smiling and nodding to Silver.
"Tell me your worries, Silver." she said softly, sitting down next to him. "Perhaps I can help to remedy your heart."
Silver turned his gaze once more to the glittering water. "I have fallen upon a very trying time in my life, Jade. My wife of seven years, my loving Lyn, is dead."
"Oh, I'm sorry." Jade said sadly. "How did she die?"
"That's the worst part, Jade. On a clear night about two years ago, Lyn was attacked and raped by a male Nightspawn of some kind in these very woods. When she finally arrived home, she recounted the entire ordeal to me, down to the most minute detail. She was in terrible condition, badly wounded and absolutely petrified. I feared for her, however, as I knew enough about Nightspawn to know that she would become one herself if it had injured her without making a kill. Lyn did not want to endanger me or the villagers, so she fled. Five days ago, she was found here, eating some of the local livestock. A Slayer was asked to dispose of her, and they did battle next to this very pool. Once she was slain, her body returned to normal and the Slayer recognized her almost immediately. He came to me that very night and told me of her passing. I was crushed. My wife, turned into a monster and killed by a righteous warrior. I still don't know how I managed to weather that realization. I came out here tonight to remember her." Silver sighed wearily, reaching into his shirt and pulling out a single pink rose.
"What's that?" Jade asked, looking hard at the rose.
"Lyn always loved roses." Silver clasped the flower's stem tightly, though its thorns were piercing his paw and drawing a rich supply of blood. Jade watched as he tossed the rose into the water, a small string of the succulent red fluid falling in after it. Both floated on the surface for just a moment, then sank slowly to the bottom until only a few stray petals and blood droplets remained afloat. Had Jade not noticed that Silver was looking at her very attentively, she might have stared at his blood-drenched paw as well. It was taking all of her willpower not to salivate over seeing the substance that was sweeter than any nectar to her.
"That's very sweet of you, Silver." Jade whispered, drawing closer. "She must have meant quite a lot to you."
"She did indeed. I most regret that I never had the chance to bid her farewell as I would have liked." Silver looked into the bat girl's black eyes, and suddenly he smiled warmly. "Though, I'm sure Lyn would not have me mourn her passing forever. She would ask me to move on, possibly even forget her since she had become such a vile creature."
Jade began to feel her confidence return. Her prey was inviting her again. "You seem so certain."
"I knew her better than anyone. I'm beyond certain. I only wish I could find someone as... special as her, someone who could be just as close to me as her."
Jade drew up as closely as she could, reaching out to trace a small line down Silver's chest. "Perhaps you already have."
Silver looked at her with a slight bit of amazement. "Jade? Are you saying that you would... take me? You're so young. How could you possibly-?"
Silver was suddenly quieted by Jade's lips pressing onto his own. Both moaned in pleasure, and Silver slowly wrapped his arms around the girl. Jade felt him slowly lifting her brown shirt, so she raised her arms to offer him less resistance. Her breasts now in full view, the hunter wolf embraced her once more. Slowly, the two sank to the ground until Jade was lying on her back with Silver continuing to kiss her lips. The moment would come soon. Though she was rather pleased with the attention she was getting from the wolf, her hunger for his blood was stronger.
"Jade," Silver whispered, breaking the kiss and removing Jade's arms from around his neck. "I really must apologize."
"For what?" Jade asked in her dreamiest tone possible.
"For this." With lightning speed and surprising strength, Silver took Jade by the wrists, forced her arms down to the ground and started chanting a spell of some sort. Soon after, he lifted his paws away. The vampire tried to move her arms and grab him before he could run, but she found that they refused to budge. She struggled fruitlessly for another moment or so, then turned her eyes to the wolf.
"Silver, what have you done to my arms?" Jade asked, her confidence slowly dissolving.
"I knew it!" Silver cried out, rising and hardening his gaze. "My Binding Curse only works on Nightspawn! Vampire whore! You would assault me on a night when I come to give remembrance to the woman I loved?"
Jade was shocked. "How did you know?"
"Simple. You were staring rather intently at the blood that fell into the water along with that flower. I could see how much you longed to dive in and lap it up."
"Please, Silver, release me!"
"Why should I? After all, it is my sworn duty to destroy all of your kind."
Jade gave a confused and frightened stare. "What do you mean? You said you were... oh, no."
"Yes, Jade. Selective misinformation, I'm afraid. I am a hunter, but I don't hunt game. I hunt Nightspawn. I am a Slayer!"
"Then, you must have slain your own wife!"
"Yes." Silver's gaze didn't fail, but Jade watched a tear of anguish roll down his cheek. "It was the worst thing I've ever had to do. I knew it was her just from her eyes. The only reason I carried through was because I knew she wouldn't want to live her life as a monster. Not a moment goes by when I don't wish that I could have found another way."
"What does killing me change, Silver?"
"Killing you?" Silver's gaze turned from anger to hunger as he slowly licked his fangs. "My dear girl, whoever said I was going to kill you?"
"You're... not going to slay me?"
"No. I think I know a much better use for you." Silver removed his breeches, towering over the detained vampire with his wolfhood fully erect.
Jade realized almost immediately that the tables had turned. The hunter had become the prey. Silver began to sink back to the ground as the new victim tried once more to struggle out of her invisible chains.
"Wait, Silver, please. Don't-!" She was silenced from Silver giving her another passionate kiss, this time sliding his tongue inside her mouth. Since she could not move to stop him, he ripped away her skirt with his paws and pressed the head of his cock against her cunt.
"Now you'll see what happens when you're too good at seduction." Silver mused, spreading her legs farther apart and slowly entering the vampire with his neck away from her face. "Your partner might become a slight bit overzealous."
Jade could not reach his neck from where she was, so she could only moan in growing lust as her captor began to shaft her remorselessly. It did not help that she was still a virgin. No victim had ever gotten this far with her before they were sucked dry. Now, bound and helpless, she was slowly beginning to let her unwanted passion take her over as Silver took advantage of her.
Silver was moving faster and more violently with each second, pushing deeper into her pussy with every thrust. He silently admitted to himself that Jade's attempts at seduction had worked quite well, and now he could not resist the feel of her body. Had he thought he would see her again after this, not to mention if she had been a normal bat, he would have gladly taken her as his next mate. When he had first laid eyes on her in the village, he had thought how beautiful she was. Even at this moment, he could only think the same thing, despite the fact that she was a murdering Nightspawn, one of the monsters he had sworn his life to destroy.
Both began to moan loudly as their climaxes came closer. Jade was almost screaming in her lustful ecstacy. He had reached the very deepest places in her snatch and yet he would not stop pushing even farther. Both of their bodies thrashed uncontrollably with the force of their passions, and their mouths let out every sort of yip, howl, moan or sigh that could ever be imagined. Jade waited, her orgasm approaching. Suddenly, Silver began to slow down and ceased pushing her depths, causing her to look up at him. He had tears in his eyes and a frown on his face.
"Silver? What is it?" she asked around her gasps of pleasure.
"Jade, I'm so sorry for this. I wish to make it up to you."
"How?"
Silver moved one paw to her wrists, still bound by the curse. "Bonds, dispel." he whispered, and a cloud of deep purple smoke formed then dissipated over each of the vampire's wrists.
Jade shook her arms. He had freed her? What was he thinking? She had to know what he was planning. "Why did you... ooh... release me, Silver?" she asked, wrapping her unbound limbs around him and stroking his sweat-drenched fur.
"Jade, I want you to... mmm... perform a favor for me."
"What?"
"Partake of my blood."
Jade gasped not in lust, but in surprise. "Why?"
"My wife is dead because I failed in my duties as a Slayer. Then I had to turn around and destroy her myself. As long as I live, I will never be rid of my guilt. I want it all to end. Please. If you feast of me now, you will have my eternal gratitude."
Jade hesitated. Yes, she did need to feed before the night was over, but now she could not find it in her to drain the wolf of his lifeblood. He was only begging her because he wanted to join his wife, and she did not want to help him on his way. Not like this, not when he still had so much to live for.
"Silver, I can't..." she started to say.
"Do it, Jade! I beg of you!" Silver screamed, his tears now cascading down his face and onto hers. "You can, and you must!"
Jade allowed a tear of her own to escape as she pulled his head down to the ground with his neck next to her mouth. Her eyes began to glow a deep red, and her fangs lengthened again. Though it took all of her being, she buried her fangs deep into Silver's neck. She could feel him flinch from the pain, yet he did not pull away.
Nor had he stopped pounding her sex. Jade flipped him over, so that she was on top of him sucking his blood as he continued to ram himself inside. Jade came first, and Silver followed shortly after. His movements ended as he seed stopped spilling into her, and he sighed as he ran a paw through her hair.
"Thank you, Jade. Drink your fill, and slay this fallen Slayer." Silver passed out, the feeling of Jade's fangs in his neck the only sensation left.
Silver opened his eyes to find himself lying in the grass of the forest, the moon at its highest point in the sky and the vampire out of sight. Jade had not drained him. He felt over the place where her fangs had pierced him, and the marks were still there. He brought his arm back and rested it on his stomach. As he did, he heard a slight clack, like a string of beads striking against each other. He looked at his wrist to find a bracelet made from shadestones tied around it. He had not been wearing it before. Bringing it up to his nose, he smelt of it. It was heavy with Jade's scent.
Silver stood up, looking around. Something felt different about him. He was hearing sounds that he had never heard before, picking up scents he had never detected, and he could see farther than ever, despite the darkness. He walked over to the pool, and his reflection in the water told him everything. His eyes were glowing with the same red as Jade's were as she fed, and his shirt was now torn from his even greater muscles. He had become a Nightspawn.
"You certainly are a creature of the night now, Silver." a familiar voice sounded from behind. In the water, Jade could be seen gazing at his reflection over the wolf's shoulder.
Silver turned around to face the vampire, her fangs retracted and her eyes their regular black once more. She still had not put her clothes back on. "Jade, what has happened?" he asked. He wanted some explanations.
"Very simple. I did not kill you. I couldn't. Instead, I have allowed you to become a werewolf. Now you are a Nightspawn, like me."
"What of the morning's light? Will it not kill us?"
"Come now, Silver. I thought you would have figured it out by now. The necklace I wore was enchanted with a powerful spell. As long as it was round my neck, sunlight would only revert me back to my normal form."
"What has happened to it now?"
"We both bear it." Jade took the paw with the bracelet around it in her hand as she pulled back her hair to reveal a choker made of the same stones. It was apparent now. Jade had broken the necklace and given half of it to him. Now he would be affected by its strong enchantment.
"Lyn did not become a Nightspawn so rapidly." Silver mentioned. "How did I?"
"You had a deep darkness in your soul, an unconquerable sorrow. That is when the curse takes hold. For me, it was when I realized that I would never see my father again after I fled. For Lyn, it might have been losing you. So, you see, you were already foredoomed to this fate."
"What now, then?" he queried.
"Nothing much has to change, save one or two details about your life. By daylight, you shall still be the same as always, thanks to your new bracelet that I gave to you. By moonlight, however, you shall become what you truly are. At that time, you will have to fulfill at least one feral instinct. If not, you will be weakened and sickly the next night."
"Does that mean killing for blood?"
Jade grinned seductively. "It can, but not exclusively. In my case, that is my only way to fulfill my need. Vampires are the only ones who have to live like that. Every other Nightspawn can appease any sort of feral lust that they might feel."
Silver smirked, taking off his tattered shirt and throwing it aside. "Any sort?"
"Indeed." Jade drew up close, tracing a line down to his toned chest.
Silver growled in approval, his erection returning. "I'm a Nightspawn now, and you're still seductive as ever."
"Only because you enjoy it, my sweet."
"'My sweet?'" Silver repeated. "Jade, do you mean that-?"
"Yes, Silver." she answered, his question already known to her. "By day, I wish to be your lover. I want to help you recover from losing Lyn. At night, I wish to feast only on your blood. That being said, I'm yours. Anytime you want me, you may take me."
"Why, Jade?"
"Silver, you were merciful to me. You spared my life and allowed me to have my way, even though you knew that I could have killed you. While you were unconscious, I had time to think about my life: past, present and future. I began to remember a vow I made to my father. Unfortunately, I did not hold true to my word. In a way, I think that helping you might be a way to reconcile with myself. I need redemption, just as you need a tender heart to care for you."
Silver considered her request. Once again, his thoughts trailed back to her beauty. However, now she seemed even more lovely than before. She might have been a vampire, but she spared him and was now offering him her heart. Not only that, she had given him a way to be with her forever. He looked back to the bracelet on his wrist, then into her eyes as he returned her smile.
"You shall have your wish. In return, I only ask that you do not feed upon the townsfolk. If you can do that, then I promise to love you until death do us part."
"I'll do as you ask."
"Excellent. Thank you, Jade."
"No, thank you, my love." Jade's smile became another lustful grin. "Now, I have already fed tonight. You have not. What do plan to do to appease your newfound feral half?"
Silver growled again, suddenly pulling her close and nibbling slightly at her ears. Jade closed her eyes and sighed in euphoric joy.
"Yes, that's it." the new werewolf whispered. "Succumb to me, my prey."
AUTHOR'S NOTE: This story was meant to test my abilities with slightly darker yiff. Tell me what you think; is it edgy enough, is there anything that needs to be kicked up or toned down? If it works out well, then there will be a new surprise just around the corner. In any case, thanks for reading. Hope you enjoyed it! ;-)
