Screams rang out throughout the halls as furs and humans run around trying to get out of the large ballroom, masks over their faces and formal attire covering their forms as they push and shove one another to try and get out as fast as they could. Shouts from other furs caught others attention and they all moved together and charged into another hall after a shadow as it bursts through a door and begins charging up the stairs toward the roof.

The group of furs and humans charge up the stairs as fast as they could pulling handguns and small handheld machine guns from their black jackets. The one who ran out first leaned over the railing, showing herself to be a female rabbit looking to be in her late twenties, her main fur color being a crimson brown mix with white paws, chin, throat and ear tips. Her crimson like eyes quickly shifted toward the upper stairs seeing another shadow racing toward the roof. Gritting her teeth in anger before quickly charging up the stairs again having ripped her long white dress apart just above her knees so she could run, kicking her stylish heels to help the fact.

The lapine was quick to tap into her rabbit instincts and stretch her legs to the fullest and propel her up the stairs faster than the other furs and humans could charge up them as well as faster than the figure above her was charging up toward the room. Bursting from the stairway and charging onto the roof the masked figure moves out into the cold night air. The lights of the taller surrounding buildings were the only illumination for the rooftop of the large building as the lapine shoves the door open and quickly slips a paw under the right side of her skirt pulling a small handgun and taking aim at the figure.

The sound of the lapine pulling back the hammer of her weapon back caused the figure to quickly stop in his tracks, looking over his shoulder, showing a masked face. An old Kitsune mask that looked to be made of wood, the traditional white coloration with down pointed red-crescent eyes and black whiskers. It wasn't possible for the lapine to make out the masked person's species though she was able to tell that it was male by the build and lack of breasts, though the heavy black hooded sweatshirt also made it hard to tell.

Looking over her shoulder at the door quickly, the shouts from the furs and humans chasing after her echoed up the stairs as they grew ever closer. Turning her attention back to the person in front of her who had turned to face her fully now and was just looking at her. His posture was strange for someone who just did what they did in the ballroom in front of hundreds of people, his feet spread apart just past his shoulders with his back arched slightly and his arms pulled back, he looked like he'd fall backwards at a single push.

Narrowing her eyes and sighting her weapon at the center of the males chest, steadying her hand from years of practice though as her finger began to pull the trigger. A light flashed over the scene from a helicopter that quickly flew down and hovered over the roof, close enough to blow the lapine's and male's clothes around kicking up dust and dirt from the rooftop. Neither the lapine or the male flinched as the helicopter pulled back, keeping the spotlight on both of them, her crimson eyes glaring firmly at the crescent slits, the spot light shifting ever so slightly to shine of the creatures eyes showing a green like hue.

As the lapine's eyes met with the males she noticeably flinched, something that the male immediately saw and took advantage of as he quickly dashed to the right, a throwing knife slipping from his sweater sleeve. Blinking and quickly recovering from her moment of hesitation, her weapon quickly locked back onto the male as he dashed away, but as she squeezed the trigger her gun was knocked up into the air as her first round was fired into the air. She ducked to the right then straight down to avoid whatever else might be soaring toward her. As she focused a second time she saw the male standing on the edge of the roof, looking at her calmly in the same stance as before though with his head hung slightly, almost questioningly.

Blinking once before standing and aiming at the male firmly, with both hands holding her weapon keeping it steady. But before she was able to fire the door to the rooftop burst open with the group of furs and humans charging out and quickly locking onto the lapine and weapons were quickly raised. Turning quickly as the rooftop door was thrown open and shifting her gaze from the male on the edge of the roof to the group, her weapon moving over and she quickly fired three rounds hitting three males. One in the head and the other two in the chest, sending all three to the ground before they returned fire.

Jumping to the left side and spinning around, moving into a crouched position with her back pressed against the side of a large metal air vent as rounds began clipping the sides of the air vent. Breathing slowly in deep breaths, with her weapon resting in her paws between her legs as she waited for the group to waste their ammo before counter attacking. Though as the rounds stopped firing she quickly jumped out and slid on her right side with her weapon aimed straight out toward where the group stood, only to find the male with the Kitsune mask standing there with a male wolf knelt in front of him. Both of the masked figure's hands on either side of the wolf's neck, large curved blades shoved through both sides of his neck.

Twisting the blades to the left, with a sickening crack of the wolfs spine as it was broken, before slowly drawing his blades back out of his throat and looking toward the lapine who was now standing with her weapon aimed directly at him once again. Looking over the male again, seeing him drenched in blood, his white mask stained red, his hands were covered with black gloves and his feet in steel toed boots. It was like he was a professional street thug assassin, wearing baggy black pants and a black sweatshirt hoodie, though he also had black gloves for no finger prints, and steel toed boots for running and fighting.

Turning and looking at the lapine once again from the front, still in that strange standing position with his blades turned backwards so they were hidden behind his legs slightly, looking over him carefully before her gaze shifted upward slightly to the helicopter. Tilting her head to the left slightly while her eyes remained on the male, she gritted her teeth again in a show of anger before lowering her weapon. The male lifted his head slightly in question before dashing to the left back toward the edge he had stood at originally and without hesitation jumped from the edge.

The lapine watched as the male ran and jumped off of the rooftop before looking back up to the helicopter in mild annoyance as the spotlight shined down onto her for a third time making her squint her eyes at the sudden blinding light. Raising her weapon and quickly firing five rounds at the helicopter, shattering the spotlight as well as making the pilot pull the drive stick back pulling the helicopter away from the lapine, leaving her now standing alone on the rooftop save for the dead bodies. The lapine turned and moved toward the opposite edge of the rooftop. Looking over the edge she spots a red sports car waiting in the alley behind the building, moving to the far right corner and jumping onto the fire escape. She quickly moves down into the ally and then into the car which then sped off.

Inside of the car a blonde human female was driving, turning out onto the main streets and speeding past other cars. Looking over to the lapine with a concerned expression before moving her eyes back onto the road, she pulled into a parking garage, parking the car between two other sports cars then turned the engine off. Sighing softly as she sat back before looking over at the lapine.

"What went wrong Siren? You've never failed a mission, though since the target is dead I don't know if this is a failure, but you weren't the one to kill him. So what happened?" the human said in a calm tone as she reached into the backseat, pulling up a pair of jeans and t-shirt.

The lapine, Siren, taking the offered clothes looked over the human woman, seeing her in a lean stylish white one piece dress and some high heels. "Someone beat me to him, I don't know who it was but he seemed like a professional. He took out the target in the ballroom in front of everyone, then he killed eight armed body guards with nothing but blades, even knocked my shot off with a throwing dagger."

The human blinked, looking quite surprised as Siren disrobed from the tattered dirty dress and pulled the jeans up her legs before pulling the shirt over her upper body, her ample chest being constricted slightly against the white shirt. Leaning back with a sigh before picking her handgun, which was a customized desert eagle, a silver body with a white grip and black clip and black vines carved into the slide of the weapon. Looking over her weapon, turning it to the right and finding a large scratch from where the blade slashed against it. She calmly ran a finger over it before setting it into her lap.

"For someone to be able to knock off your shot, I've never heard of that before Siren, also for someone to beat you to the mark. I know this guy was hated by many but..." pulling up a picture of a black stallion in a business suit surrounded by large furs dressed in similar black suits.

Looking over to the human and reaching over running her paw through the woman's blonde hair feeling the softness of it against her fur, the human leaning into the lapines paw gently before setting the picture down. "Care to paint me a picture of what went on Siren? I've gotta know so I can tell Sister Isa about it," this making Siren sigh softly and move over to lean against the human with her eyes closed.

The human leaning back against the fur, slipped her right hand up to rub the lapines head as she began to tell her what happened.

*Three hours ago*

Stepping from the car in a flowing white dress that complimented her crimson brown fur, Siren looking around with a smile before moving up the set of stone stairs with a black eye mask in paw. The large building that had been turned from a library into some kind of corporate building, the ball being dedicated to the new office that was going to be built in this old building. Looking around seeing the hundreds of furs and humans, all formally dressed in flowing dresses with masks on their faces and all the males dressed in suits and masks except for a few who viewed this as just business. Save for the caterers, all looking happy and so fake, putting on the fake smiles to make good impressions with the powers of city.

The males all talking to males about how to gain more power through takeovers and back handling shares and stocks, the women trying to get in close to the males to sneak into power and money, trying to cut the other females out so they could be the prime pick. Siren stood off by herself saying 'no' for the seventh time to dance as she waited for her target, looking around before her eyes locked onto a large black stallion standing in the middle of several suits.

The stallion having the aura of power, attracting males and females alike, trying to get his attention, getting in close so they could gain a little power though he seemed completely uninterested. This ball was nothing to him and neither was the fact that he just increased his power in the city, just something easily done and forgotten to him.

Siren began making her way over to him putting on a seductive look and making sure her hips swayed with a teasing seduction, her tail swaying with her hips getting looks from men and women alike and when she got close enough she got the stallions attention as well. His blue eyes locked onto Siren's crimson eyes and a smile immediately formed on his lips, Siren smiled back to the stallion as she neared but something caught her attention. From the corner of her right eye a black figure moved through the crowd toward the stallion, weaving and ducking through the crowd of furs with ease, a figure dressed in all black save for the Kitsune mask on it's face.

The figure moved swiftly and without warning slipped between two suited furs and the stallions expression quickly changed, shifting from a sly smile to Siren to a surprised shock before he twisted and fell to the ground, several furs jumping out of the way as he landed. Siren gazed in shock as the large stallion fell to the ground, a throwing knife sticking from his back just through his heart, Siren immediately looked from left to right seeing the masked figure moving down a hallway as screams of terror fill the ballroom.

Ducking left and right through the running furs, she quickly ran into the hall only to curse softly as she felt her legs being constricted by the long dress. Looking over her shoulder as she pulled a small knife from between her breasts, she cut away the bottom of her dress, dropping the fragments before running to the end of the hall seeing a door marked stairs. As she reached the stairs she heard shouts from some of the males behind her that someone was running this way. Looking over her shoulder she cursed before shoving the door open and quickly running up the stairs after the masked figure.

*Parking Garage, Sports car*

Siren finished her story, now having the human female in her lap in the back seat, both holding one another lightly rubbing each others shoulders, necks and arms rubbing their cheeks and heads together though doing nothing more than cuddling one another. The human slipped her hand under Siren's muzzle, scratching Sirens chin lightly,

"I can't tell if he's trained military or some kind of private contractor." Siren slowly laid the human back, nuzzling into her neck gently.

"I don't care what he was, something about him was different, his eyes...held something in them, you ever hear of something like that Yuima?" The human shook her head and hugged the lapine to her, nuzzling between her long ears as she rubbed her shoulders, both drifting off into a light sleep as a light appears in the front drivers seat.

A black cell phone that had to belong to Yuima, the light shifting as a few words appear on the screen 'Sister Isa. Contract Failed, second assassin unknown, assassins organization known, meet Sister Isa in one day at The Undercroft, second floor VIP room number six.'
