Kiboko Meets Destiny

It was a bright morning on the African plains. Young Kiboko, the joy and the bane of his father, the king's, existence, woke up just as the first light of dawn was beginning to creep across the plains. The cub, his golden fur shining in the bright light of the morning, crept away from the sleeping pride, and he climbed up into a small tree he'd found close by.

The tree was close enough to the pride that he could see all of them, in the distance, yet high enough to give him a good vantage point for looking around at things. Aside from a few birds, and the zebra herd drinking at the river, he though he did not have much to see, even though he did like watching the sunrise from this position.

As Kiboko looked around, he saw the pride's shaman, Ajabu off by his large tree. The mandrill had always seemed aloof and more than a little mysterious to the cub. And, more often than not, a bit scary as well. He watched quietly from his branch. Ajabu gestured in the air, and it sounded as if he were chanting as well.

His white mane of fur swayed in the soft morning breezes, waving his arms over his head, his feet planted firmly in a small patch of dirt, his tail wriggling about behind him, over his red rear end.

Kiboko just watched him from his tree. The mandrill began to rub his finger through the dirt, leaving wriggling lines here and there. Then he reached to his side, and began to pile small, grey stones up in stacks, with three stones next to each other, then a single stone on top of that. Ajabu made several of these small piles, each one surrounded by the wriggling lines in the dirt.

The cub found this odd, and so hopped down from his tree. He laid down in the tall grasses of the savanna, watching. Ajabu continued to gesture and chant over the stones. As the sun rose to high overhead, he finally moved away.

Kiboko smiled, and walked closer to the site, slowly. He kept looking around, seeing if the mandrill was returning, and trying to keep an eye out for anyone or anything else as well.

He sat just at the edge of the dirt patch, and looked everything over. The piles of stones seemed to be roughly in a circular shape, with more odd lines and curves drawn in the dirt around them.

Kiboko stayed, watching them for a moment, then decided to touch one with his paw. He touched it very, very softly, and nothing happened. It just looked like any ordinary stone he could have found at the river anyway. Whatever Ajabu was up to, it was lost on Kiboko.

He touched a different stone, one of the ones on the bottom of one of the piles. This time, as he pulled his paw away, he bumped the bottom stone, making the whole pile topple down on itself.

Kiboko grinned, and started to paw the stones around. Being so smooth and round, they would skid across the dirt with very little effort. He pawed at one again, harder, enough to send it smashing into one of the other piles, which also toppled.

He started having fun with this, knocking the pebbles around, hearing them clink into each other. He was having a fine time with this sport, grinning the whole while.

That all changed at mid-day though. Just as he was about to swipe and send one rock into four others, he heard a very loud, very angry, shrill scream from behind him.

The cub ducked down to the ground instantly, afraid to find out what had just made that noise.

He found out soon enough though, when he heard Ajabu's voice speaking very loudly. "You! You! You! What do you this for Kiboko? Do know you what you've done?"

He cub frowned, rising to his paws and turning to look up at the mandrill. The glaring stare his eyes met made him shiver. "What ya mean Ajabu?"

"You destroyed have the ring I make. This not is good."

"How come?" he asked fearfully.

"This is ring sacred to us. Feeds and us protects it does!"

Kiboko lowered his head. "Can't you just put it back like it was?"

"When is morning here, I can. You best had come with me cub."

Kiboko sighed and followed him. He just knew he'd be seeing his father in private that day.

The to walked in silence. Ajabu approached the king. "Majesty?"

The king looked over the two of them, and stood up on all four paws. "Yes my friend?"

"Do know you what your son has done?"

He sighed. "What now?"

"He apart broke the ring I make every season."

The king frowned deeply. "Can it be remade?"

Ajabu nodded, "Yes can it, but not until the next cloudless sunrise."

"At least that's some good news. I suppose I need to have a talk with you about this Kiboko."

The cub lowered down to the ground, fearing his fate.

Ajabu shook his head. "Perhaps can I suggest something my king?"

"Hmm?"

Ajabu leaned in close and started to whisper into the king's ear. The older lion's face remained calm, almost emotionless as he listened. When the mandrill had finished, the king looked down at Kiboko, then back to Ajabu.

"But only until dawn tomorrow?"

"Yes."

"And you will take him to the river before he's returned?"

"Again say I yes."

"Very well then. Kiboko, come here."

The cub gulped, not liking the sound of things, and approached the king.

"I understand you did not know what you were doing son, but you ought to have known better than to disturb something that someone else had done. You already know not to try to eat something someone else has caught unless they offer it to you first, correct?"

Kiboko nodded. That was an experience he didn't want to go through again.

"The same rule applies to this, my son. But, instead of me punishing you, since you could have angered all of the spirits of the lands, it is only fitting Ajabu punishes you as he deems fit."

Kiboko gave a small nod.

"And son, if you refuse to do anything he tells you to, or even hesitate to do something he tells you, I'll spend the whole day tomorrow, from sunup to sundown, doing only one thing - swatting you as hard as I can. Am I understood?"

Kiboko felt sick to his stomach at that idea. "Yes father."

The king leaned down and licked his son's head once, gently. "Good. Now go with him. I'll see you tomorrow."

Ajabu began to walk away from the pride, with Kiboko following him. A short time later, they were at the base of his tree.

"Can climb you up this high?"

Kiboko looked at the tree and shook his head. Even the lowest branches he saw were out of his range.

A moment later, he felt his world rolling. Ajabu grabbed the cub around his chest, in one hand, and with the other, began to climb the tree. He went up high into the leaves and branches before he set the cub down on a branch.

Kiboko couldn't help but to look around. He wasn't afraid of the height, and had never had such a view before. "Wow." He said softly.

"Never views seen from this high?"

The cub shook his head.

"After finish I with you cub, if you behave, I might bring you up here more, so long as I can carry you."

Kiboko nodded a little.

The mandrill pointed at a tick branch. "Lay there. Face out."

The cub frowned, but moved over and laid down. The branch was barely wide enough to hold him. His legs hung down the sides. He saw Ajabu moving in the tree a little, but couldn't tell what he was up to.

He came back a few moments later, with a long piece of vine. Kiboko felt it being laid across his back, gently, and then wrapped a couple of times around himself, and the branch. This seemed odd to him.

Then, he felt his tail being lifted up and put on his back, then the vines began to tighten. He looked to his side, to see a thick, deep green vine wrapped around himself and the branch, holding him there, with Ajabu moving the ends of the vines together, making them tighter around him.

When he finished Kiboko was not in any pain and could breathe just fine. He just could not move.

He saw Ajabu moving out of the corner of his eyes, then a moment later, felt a very hard, firm pain start to burn into his rear end, but instead of the spread out feeling of pain he usually got from a paw, this was just along one line of intense pain.

He tried to lunge against the vines, but found himself held tight. The mandrill moved again, and another bolt of stinging, burning pain lashed across the cub's hind end. This time, he gave out a loud MRRROWL!! of pain and started crying.

And, he cried a lot too. He finally saw Ajabu was using a thin branch on him, one that burned and stung each time it hit. Kiboko could hear faint, high-pitched, whirring sounds each time the branch was about to land on him.

And each time it did he would cry out, screaming or just mewling pitifully, and in pain. The mandrill finally stopped, taking a moment to admire the work. The cub's backside was entirely a deep, dark red, just about matching the color his own rear end normally was. But, unlike his own rear, Kiboko's backside was also covered with more than a few criss-crossing purple lines.

Kiboko continued mewling and crying, his tears landing on the branch his chin was resting on. He panted too, trying to get his breath back after all his cries.

"You there stay cub."

Kiboko did not have much choice on where he stayed until he was untied from the branch anyway.

He felt the branch sway a little as Ajabu sat down on it behind him. Then, the branch began to quiver beneath him, rhythmically swaying up and down.

"What ... " his voice was cut off by a very hard smack! of a hand across his whole rear end. He yelped! Out in pain and stayed quiet.

The branch swayed a bit faster, and he could hear grunts and moans from the mandrill behind him. He was not sure what was going on, but did not think he should ask either.

He continued to move in waves, up and down, as the branch shook. It was calming for the cub, and he was almost drifting to sleep, when he heard and felt something. Behind him, Ajabu gave out a deep, loud, growling sort of moan, followed by a noise that almost sounded like he was shrieking.

As Kiboko was wondering what that noise was all about, he felt something sticky, yet very warm starts to spray onto his rear, and up on his back. The feel of it reminded him of honey, just not as thick as usual, but it was a lot warmer than he had ever known honey to be.

The stuff didn't hurt, it just stuck to his fur, and made him feel a little uncomfortable. The motion of the branch had ceased as well. This was all very curious to the cub.

A short while later, he felt the vines being removed. Until Ajabu told him to move though, he remained in place. He felt himself being picked up once again, the sensation of his senses spinning as he was making him feel slightly nauseous, and carried down to the ground.

He was set down at the base of the tree and told to stay standing. He did.

Ajabu walked off into the grasses a little ways, then started digging at the ground with his hands. Kiboko watched him.

"Come."

Kiboko started walking over to the mandrill. When he got there, he saw a fairly shallow, yet long trench had been dug, with a deeper hole at the lower end of it.

"What is it?"

Ajabu pointed at the deeper hole at the end. "Lay down."

Kiboko went over and laid down. He saw there was a part of it that looked to just be the size of his bottom jaw.

"Put muzzle yours down."

The cub did.

"And up open. If move you, I can take you right back to the branch you were on, and do the same things again."

Kiboko did not like how this was looking, but he opened his mouth.

Ajabu squatted down at one end, and Kiboko saw him taking his maleness in one hand, and aim it at the top of the trench.

Kiboko watched, then frowned, as the mandrill began to go, starting to urinate at the top of the trench in the dirt. The cub closed his eyes, not wanting to move, but not wanting to taste this either.

He had no choice though. At first, the rank taste merely trickled into the cub's mouth, but slowly, it gained momentum. It flowed faster, filling his muzzle. Kiboko tried not to swallow any of it, but some of the mandrill's urine went down the cub's throat anyway.

He sputtered on the taste, feeling a bit sick again from it. What he didn't swallow leaked out the corners of his muzzle, pooling around his legs and his body. Kiboko hardly noticed though, with the taste and smell of the urine so heavy in front of him.

The stream trickled off, then finally died out.

Kiboko continued to cough and sputter out the foul taste. Ajabu watched the cub, a grin beginning to glide across his muzzle.

He walked over and sat down right next to the soaked cub. "Get here over Kiboko."

Kiboko frowned and padded over to Ajabu's lap, dripping urine, and soaked all over.

"Can see you the son?"

Kiboko nodded as he looked to the horizon. The sky was already just starting to turn darker, and the sun was almost beginning to set.

"Stand my over leg cub."

Kiboko frowned and hopped up onto the thickest part of Ajabu's leg, positioning himself there with all four paws slightly off of the ground.

"Good. Now watch you the sun. When goes it down, I will stop."

Kiboko only made a small nod. He didn't know what was about to happen, only guessed he wouldn't like it. He watched the setting sun.

A moment later, he found out what was going to happen. Ajabu pulled his tail onto his back, pulling on it just slightly, and held it there with one hand. His other hand began to smack the cub's backside.

Kiboko began to squirm on the mandrill's leg. His swats were beginning to sting, but he had felt his father's paw there more than once, and he was sure the mandrill couldn't hit him nearly as hard as his father, the king, could.

Ajabu just continued on, watching the sunset more than he watched the cub. His hand continued to land hard on Kiboko's rear. He did notice it was beginning to turn a nice, deep shade of red again, which was what he was aiming for.

Kiboko tried to hold back his tears, but before long, the burning, and the stinging were really compounding on top of each other. He gave out a mrewl! and finally began to cry, the tears of pain, and of shame, just running down his face, down his cheeks, wetting the fur on Ajabu's leg a little.

Ajabu continued on, while Kiboko cried, and they both watched the sun anxiously. It did finally set, and as promised, Ajabu stopped smacking the cub as the darkness began to fall.

He still held the cub on his leg, letting him cry as much as he needed to.

A while later, Kiboko finally did finish crying. Ajabu set the cub down on the ground, facing him.

Kiboko rubbed at his face with a paw, and noticed Ajabu's shaft was sticking up, hard. It looked similar to his father's, yet different as well. He was not going to say anything though.

The mandrill grabbed him around the belly again, and began to climb. Kiboko tried to watch everything he could, but just closed his eyes when all the motion began to make him dizzy.

When they stopped, Ajabu set him down on a tree branch. "Look down."

Kiboko did. In the fleeting light, he could see that he was up much higher than he had been that afternoon. "Why so high Ajabu?"

"So know I you will not try to escape while I sleep."

Kiboko frowned, but nodded. He carefully laid down on the branch, and was preparing to try to sleep, when he felt himself being slowly pulled backwards.

Kiboko thought this odd, but stayed quiet.

A moment later, he felt Ajabu's hand rubbing over his tender rear. Kiboko frowned, and put his tail over his back, hoping he was not about to get spanked again. Then, he could feel a finger running slowly up and down over his rear, around his tailbase, and even around his young tailhole.

For the first time that day, Kiboko started to purrrr. He wasn't sure what exactly was going on, but it felt good to him.

Then, he heard a lot of grunting from behind him. "You ok Ajabu?"

Ajabu's voice came quick, and fast. "Yes! Turn! See!"

Kiboko spun around, and came to a stop at what he saw.

Ajabu's shaft was all the way out of his sheath, and throbbing a bit. His hand glided quickly up and down it, and from the looks of it, he was enjoying himself too.

Kiboko started to grin. He suddenly remembered something he had seen one of the lionesses doing with the king, one night when he was supposed to have been asleep. The king really liked this, so he thought he would try it as well, and maybe make Ajabu happy.

Gathering a bit of courage, he padded closer, and gave a lick at the underside of the mandrill's tip. He tasted something sweet, yet slick there.

Ajabu shuddered, and looked down at the cub, grinning widely.

Kiboko gulped it, and licked at it some more. Ajabu's paw stopped moving, and he just let the cub lick him.

Kiboko noticed the odd slick stuff was coming out more as he licked more.

"Cub?"

He pulled back slightly "Yes?"

"Cub like?"

Kiboko nodded, grinning too. He felt this was something he probably was not supposed to be doing, but was pretty sure Ajabu would not tell on him either.

"Want more?"

The cub smiled. He'd seen everything the lioness had done to his father, and saw his reactions to it too. The lioness seemed to really enjoy swallowing down everything his father had made. "Yeah!"

Without waiting for any further instruction, he started licking again.

Ajabu moaned out loudly, and sat up a bit. As his tip came into Kiboko's sight, he started licking there instead, right over the slit where the odd sweet liquid was leaking from. The mandrill bucked a little, but kept his hands at his sides, panting now himself.

Kiboko kept licking at the slit. He saw Ajabu's sac hanging there, with the two small 'stones' inside of it, same as his own, just larger. Kiboko knew how these felt too, from his own experience.

While he licked at Ajabu's tip, he hesitantly reached a paw up pawed at them softly. The shudder that Ajabu made pleased him, and he kept going like that.

A very short while later, he noticed the mandrill beginning to growl and tense up. Kiboko continued on, and a moment later, he got a taste of something different.

Hard, and very hot shots, of thick whiteness started to fill his muzzle. They came fast enough to even make his cheeks begin to fill before he could swallow. The taste was unusual to him, but not entirely unpleasant either. He found it almost bittersweet.

Ajabu watched the cub, grinning from all the wonderful pleasure the cub gave him. And the sight of Kiboko swallowing down his seed was something he would remember always.

Kiboko had to really work his throat for a short while, but he swallowed down most of the seed, only letting a little leak down his muzzle. By the time Ajabu had finally finished, Kiboko's belly felt close to full.

Ajabu leaned back against the trunk of the tree, panting softly still. "I now think we ought to sleep."

Kiboko nodded and curled up quietly against Ajabu's lap. The mandrill fell asleep with a smile on his face.

When the bright, morning sun woke them up, Ajabu again grabbed the cub, and took him down the tree. As they reached the ground, he still held onto him, carrying the young cub toward the river. Kiboko did not mind being carried.

When they arrived there, Ajabu carried him into the water, dunked him once, which Kiboko felt he could have done without, but then began to wash over the cub's fur softly, gently with his hands.

Kiboko began to purrrr again, nuzzling into the soft hands as they worked over his fur, getting all the gunk out of his fur. "Ajabu?"

"Hmm?"

"Am I ... forgiven?"

"Soon."

Kiboko nodded and continued to snuggle into the hands. When Ajabu finished with him, he felt almost as clean as after his mother's tongue baths, but he still liked those more.

He set the cub down on all four paws on the dry ground above the riverbank. "Tail up."

Kiboko frowned, but was not surprised. He had hoped he would not get another one though. He hoisted his tail, and waited.

"Since piles seven you did destroy Kiboko, seven more for you, then I, and all the spirits forgive you."

Kiboko nodded again, trying to be brave. The first swat made him mrewl.

The second one made him jump a little.

The third strike got tears in his eyes again, a glow beginning to form on his rump again.

Number four made him start to cry, a few tears running down his face.

With the fifth, he mrewled again, sounding very kittenish, and kept crying.

The sixth hit of Ajabu's hand turned him from a brave, soon-to-be lion, back into a pitiful kitten, but one who knew he deserved this.

The seventh, and final one, made him start to bawl, as Ajabu was really putting everything he had into these swats.

When he was finished, Ajabu rubbed his hand up and down the cub's back, waiting for him to stop crying on his own time.

He stopped shortly after that and rubbed his face clean again. "Now am I Ajabu?"

He nodded, smiling to the cub. "Yes, are you forgiven."

Kiboko smiled.

"Come cub along."

Ajabu began walking, and Kiboko followed behind him, in much better spirits than when he had been behind him the previous day.

They arrived at the plains where the pride was, and approached the king.

"Good to see you both once again. I trust all went well?"

Ajabu nodded, "The smiles spirit upon him, they do."

The king nodded, "Good. And do you have anything to say Kiboko?"

"I'm sorry father, to you and Ajabu. Thank you Ajabu, for making them forgive me."

The lion and the mandrill both nodded.

Ajabu smiled to Kiboko. "Be well."

"I will be."

"Feel to free visit again, under better happenings."

Kiboko smiled, "I will try to Ajabu."

"Good." Ajabu patted his head, ruffled the cub's ears, then walked off.

His father turned to him, "Anything else Kiboko?"

"Mmm ... I'd kind of like to sleep some more father."

The lion licked his son's head softly, nodding. "Go on to your mother then. Rest well cub."

Kiboko smiled and hopped over to his mother.

"Hello son." She nuzzled him as he approached.

Kiboko nuzzled her back, but noticed something. "Mom ... were you crying?"

The lioness blushed a little beneath her fur. "I was only worried about you son. It's better now."

Kiboko smiled and curled up in front of her, quickly falling asleep. He did not see her own grimace as she laid down, also on a well-swatted bottom.

THE END
