CountDown to Xtinction II

Hello, my name is Rebecca. You have probably know what happened to New York by now. I just found out when I got there. The airport was infested with zombies. I hid in a closet till, I was found by a wolf named Wolfenstein. He took me to a grocery store where him and many others took refuge. There he introduced me to his friends Val & Krane. We sat in silence & ate some soup we found in one of the isles.

"So, Rebecca was it? Where are you coming from?" asked Val.

"New Jersey, coming to see my Brother"

Rebecca slurped up a spoonful of soup.

"ah, so you must've been unaware about all of this."

Rebecca looked at Val. His silver hair was covering his face. His mouth was in a crooked smile. I think he was up to something but I really wasn't sure. Wolfenstein &Krane were getting desert & I was now sort of wishing I went with. Val does kind of scare me.

"um, I was I just wanted to see if my brother was alright."

Val then laughed at me. It made me so angry I just wanted to punch him. But I kept my cool, he looked like the kind of person who would kill someone for fun.

"You fool, your brother is most likely dead. And now you've doomed yourself."

Val laughed more & I just covered my ears. Wolfenstein who was coming back saw me & sat by me to keep me from crying.

"You okay?" he asked.

He had the most soothing voice, and he was the cutest wolf I ever saw. I couldn't help but wrap my arms around him & sob. I think I may be crushing on him a bit too. Val though is hot for a human but he was Fucking heartless.

"yes, just a bit worried now? Do you think my Brothers dead?"

Wolfenstein looked at me for a moment and I was worried he was afraid to speak. But he replied after stuttering for a bit.

"I'm sure he's fine, you did tell me he went to military school."

I smiled at him & he handed me a candy bar. Krane sat with us & Val walked off whistling. He was much of a people person I guess. After we all chatted with each other for a while we went to sleep. But Wolfenstein stayed up and kept watch. He walked up down the store from one entrance to the other till Krane woke to take watch. I laid awake & watched Krane walk to the first entrance. I couldn't sleep. I was too worried about my brother. Izzy is a brave wolf, & very smart but he does have his weaknesses. And Xenomorphs, & undead wont make it easier to get past them. But ill not say his weaknesses for revealing them may put him in danger. Now ill skip ahead to what happened that afternoon.

Wolfenstein & me were playing cards as Krane went about with Val checking to see if everyone had made it okay through the night. It seemed no one had gotten sick so Krane and Val came bounding down an isle, Val whistling an odd tune. When Krane got their Val decided to keep his usual distance. He stopped whistling as we heard a growl that almost sounded like a faint screech. Krane went up to a window and looked out. Seeing nothing he turned around and gave all clear. Just then I saw a needle like tentacle burst through shattered the glass then ripped straight through him. I screamed as blood spurted all over the floor. Kranes lifeless body was tossed aside and when the thing came in I backed away, and Wolfenstein looked pale. It was like a human almost but with a sharp axe-like head and several tentacles coming from out of its back. One of witch looked like it had a huge drug needle melded with the tip of it.

"Fuck.* said Wolfenstein.

Val just walked further into the store and vanished from sight. The beast screeched and all the others burst out of the doors of the store and fled, many of witch most likely died or became infected. The beast stared directly at us and screeched again. Wolfenstein grabbed my arm & ran he brought me outside to a mustang, & I got into the passenger side. He started the engine and then pushed the gas pedal to the floor. The tires screeched and then we were off. The buildings past by in a blurr. But we could hear the beast right behind us. Its screeching was deafening. I covered my ears until we got out of sigh t& sound of the beast.

"what the fuck was that?" asked Wolfenstein as he looked back.

I looked at him and then I looked backed. The roads empty, & the faint screeches could be heard in the distance. I looked around & was shocked to see my brother Izzy, walking towards the mustang with a shotgun aimed at us. He must have noticed me because he lowered his gun & quickly ran over to me.

"Re...Rebecca your alive!" he said, rather happily.

I nodded and opened the door.

"Get in Brother not much time to explain anything here."

My brother nodded and got in. Wolfenstein drove off again once we heard the sound of heavy footsteps and low growls. My brother looked at Wolfenstein and nodded.

"hey, um thanks for keeping my sister safe." He said

"no problem man, she needed help so I took her with me" said Wolfenstein.

He looked back at the road & suddenly the beast from the store jumped in front of the car & Punched the front of it sending flipping backwards & landing onto is roof. Wolfenstein Crawled out and helped me get out of the car. My brother was already out and loading his shotgun. He looked me & wolfenstein and gestured for us to run. My brother of course shot the beast and Ran to catch up. The beast wiped blood from its eyes and looked around. It didn't find us which was a good thing till we heard Val. He was for some reason whistling. The beast heard him and walked our way. Where ever Val was he was leading the beast right to us.

"who the hell is whistling?" asked Izzy

"its Val, he....he is leading the beast to us." Said Wolfenstein, just realizing tha Val was a traitor.

"Val....that treacherous bastard!" said Wolfenstein.

The beast thrust Several Tentacles at us & caught Wolfenstein by the ankle. My brother Tossed him his hunting knife and Wolfenstein barely missed. I quickly jumped onto the beasts back and then noticed an odd brand mark on its neck. It looked like an eye but it was up and down instead of from side to side. Then Val revealed himself & grabbed my ankle then Pulled me off and pointed a gun at my head.

"hey Val! What the hell!" I yelled.

He laughed & looked at my brother, Wolfenstein was trying to fight off the beasts tentacles.

"well I hope you still remember me Izzy" he said.

"Val....Valentine!" said my brother rather startled.

Wolfenstein looked at Valentine. He then tried once more to get the tentacle off his ankle but it was hard for him because the beast was attacking with more.

"ah, you do remember me, good. And now you will remember that I killed your sister!"

Valentine put his finger on the trigger just as the beast thrust its needle like tentacle at Wolfenstein. He Used the hunting knife and threw it at the tentacle. He cut its tip off and it flung through the air and sank into Valentines shoulder. He screamed in pain & Fled wounded and the beast followed. I knew there was something odd about that man. Wolfenstein helped me up & My brother came over and hugged me.

"You okay sis?" he asked.

I smiled at him and nodded.

"yes big brother. What about you Wolfenstein, you okay?"

"yeah, ankle hurts though." He said as he rubbed his ankle.

The sun still bright in the sky we walked to my brothers gun store which was close by. We locked the doors and covered the windows. My brother pulled his phone out hoping it would work still. It did the phone rang and he heard the voice of his friend Sturm right after.

"hello?" he asked.

"Hey this is Izzy. Wait for me in Jersey okay."

"Nah man, that place is fucked we are heading to Japan. It was said to be isolated. The zombies are already going around the U.S. fast."

My brother nodded. "Tokyo then?"

"yes Tokyo, See you there good buddy!"

He hung up and my brother looked at us.

"Grab as much Ammo as you can hold. We have a long trip ahead of us."

We all did and after that we luckily didn't see Valentine. He had seemed to have Vanished off the face of the earth.
