It was a damn long day. It's good to have one every once in awhile. It keeps things from being too boring. He was certainly glad that today was over, and that he got to take a break.

The bird had just withdrawn from the bath, scrubbing off the layers of sweat and dirt from the days adventure. He wasn't used to being out in the field these days, and it was starting to become evident. He was honestly just happy to lay down and read a book before drifting off to sleep. The light of a candle on a bedside table softly illuminated the room as he climbed into his bed.

He no sooner got snuggled underneath that down blanket full of some other poor bird's feathers before there was a rather urgent sounding knock at his door, accompanied by a slightly high pitched "Mr. Vireo!" from the other side. That voice managed to gain his attention rather quickly. He just as quickly scrambled out of his bed, making his way to open the door.

"Irthos, you really don't have to call me Mister," he sighed with a smile as he opened the door. Standing outside was a yellow scaled lizard, no taller than three foot tall. His underbelly was a paler, almost creamy yellow. It was difficult to miss, as his belly appeared to be the most sizable part of him.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Vireo," he apologized, bowing his head slightly, still slightly ashamed that he got that wrong again. "I think... It's time..."

"Again? Already?" the black feathered tengu questioned his tiny kobold hireling. "Well, I suppose it is. Come on, come in," he motioned, welcoming the little guy to waddle into the room. And waddle he did.

As much as neither of them would like to admit it, this was becoming routine. Seven times previously, they had gone through this ordeal. Seven times, Vireo's male kobold seneschal had become pregnant. It shouldn't have happened the first time. It most certainly shouldn't have happened the times following. Yet, each time Irthos would grow gravid with what would be considered by most of his kind to be quite a large clutch of eggs. This would be his eighth. Despite some visits to a local doctor that Vireo had known, and had known would be discreet, they had no idea how this had happened, let alone continued happening.

The expecting fellow did his best to climb up on top of the bed. Vireo retrieved a black leather bag that they had been given for situations like tonight. With this happening with regularity, they were quite glad to have it. "Are you in any pain yet?" he asked the little kobold almost like a concerned parent.

"No. No pain. Just stiff like usual."

The bird thought for a moment, grabbing a vial of blue liquid from the case and some clean linen cloths. "Well, just in case," he tried to comfort as he made his way back to the foot of the bed and sat down.

"I'm not in pain." He seemed confused, before crawling onto the tengu's lap.

"I know. Just in case."

"Do I have to? They taste horrible."

"He tries to make them taste like chocolate. I thought you would have liked that."

"It makes them taste worse..." the little lizard confessed with a serious face as he laid down on his back. The bird pulled up one leg, so the kobold could sit up against something. It seems that he was just in time, as the shuffling was followed by a small, high pitched grunt and a whine.

"Still not hurting?" he asked, reaching down to hold the scaled hand.

"Not if it means I have to drink any more of that medicine," he teased, managing a grin despite the pressure starting to build in his belly.

"Okay, fine," Vireo relented, putting the vial away from them. "I won't make you. Silly thing."

Irthos blushed. If you were to ask him at that moment, he'd say it was because he was being called silly. In reality, it was mostly because he could feel those large orbs shifting around in his belly as it decided to clench down again. One of them had started its trip downwards, and started rubbing along sensitive spots. He could feel the scales between his legs start to get warm as they started to part open. His slit was being parted by his growing length. He never could completely control this part; it embarrassed him badly. He tried not to get aroused, but couldn't seem to help it. His cheeks would have certainly betrayed him even more if they weren't covered in scales, too. "They're coming."

Vireo lowered his head slightly, beak beside the side of the kobold's face. "You know what to do," he tried to encourage with a whisper as another contraction squeezed down on the clutch of eggs, trying to force them out.

He nodded furiously as he pushed down, following his body's lead. That egg slid down further, slipping into his birth canal. It wouldn't be long now. The urge subsided, and he stopped for a moment, realizing he was squeezing the tengu's hand quite hard. "Sorry."

"You're fine," the bird tried to tell him with as much of a smile as a beak could manage.

Another contraction, another push, and the egg slipped further. Another few inches his member slid out of his cloaca. That egg was most certainly hard shelled, and it was doing everything it could to split that poor kobold open as it moved further down, grinding across more sensitive spots, getting that little lizard more bothered than he'd ever want to admit. One more push, and he could feel that spherical mass starting to spread open his scales around his nethers further than they were already spread, as another egg shifted down to take its turn.

"Keep pushing. I can see it coming," were the words of comfort that were intended, but they ended up embarrassing him even further. He realized he had his eyes closed, and looked down to see what he could.

"Oh, gods." He blushed even further, a deeper shade of red if he could. Forty two times now he'd been split open in this manner, and he was still ashamed to let Vireo see him like this. It never really seemed to bother the bird, but the kobold was always worried. It wasn't normal for servants to put their masters in this kind of position. Despite Vireo's attempts to downplay the reality of it, that was the honest truth. He hated that he wasn't even able to be a decent servant, unable to control this aspect of himself. It hurt.

"One more push. One more."

Was he that close? He looked again. This egg was one of the larger ones that he'd laid, but it was almost free. His body seemed to agree and gave him one more encouraging squeeze from the inside. He went with it. He bore down on the clutch in his gut, and forced that one the last inch it needed to pop free of his vent. Panting, he tried to catch his breath. "Finally..."

A clawed hand rubbed the top of his still swollen belly, lumps from the eggs inside bulging up through the scales. "You've still got a few more left in there." Vireo gently caressed those lumps for a moment or two more. This was almost too much to bear for the little lizard.

As if on queue, his body decided that he wouldn't get to enjoy that sensation for long before racking him with another contraction. More eggs needed to work their way out. One had snuck down to where he was most sensitive while he was focused on trying to get the first one to work its way free.

His arousal wasn't even mostly from the eggs any longer, and he didn't really care. Paired with the urge to push, it was enough to have him make quick work of eggs number two and three. He needed a short break before continuing with the last three, which was hard with the continuing squeezing of his insides, but some rubs from his tengu master helped him recover the strength to force another two eggs out.

The last one was fairly stubborn. It refused to come out without help. Vireo stepped in to assist when it was clear that Irthos was having problems, using his talents at kneading with those talons of his to start to push that egg very carefully down the kobolds belly. He pressed ever so gently, but with force, as the Kobold went to push one last time. His eyes shot open at the sensation, completely overwhelmed. That clutch had made his belly quite tender, and that eggs' forcing its way through was hitting every pleasurable spot along the way out. It was almost as though that hard shelled prisoner was trying to make him feel things he didn't know were possible before now.

"Oh!" Irthos cried out. He shuddered slightly as the contraction wore off. Vireo must not have noticed, continuing to gingerly push that egg down. That was enough to make the lizard moan rather loudly.

"Whoops! I'm sorry," the bird attempted to apologize, now blushing profusely himself. He started to lift up from the belly as a small hand grabbed his wrist.

"Don't you dare stop..." He looked Irthos in the eye. He was glaring. Vireo thought better than to disobey an order, given the situation, so he put his claws back down on that scaled belly and started pushing again. The kobold shuddered and moaned, now visibly leaking from the shaft so proudly poking out of his cloaca. A final contraction hit, he moaned louder than he had yet, and the egg slowly worked its way out. "Vireo!..." He managed to get out, before he was brought over the edge. In that last push he let loose, spilling a sizable load of seed all over his belly, Vireo's hand, and over the egg that had simultaneously managed to pop out. He panted heavily, gasping for breath.

"Feel better?" The bird put the question out there, almost not expecting an answer. But, he did manage to get a slow and sleepy nod in return. "Tired?" Another nod. He chuckled, picking up one of those cloths to clean off the kobold and his hand before he started working on the eggs.

"Mr. Vireo?" The kobold looked up, still rather exhausted and not quite sure where he was going to go from here. "I think I'd like to keep one this time. Can I?"

The bird responded almost reflexively. "Of course!" He smiled for just a moment, before some thought sank in. He hummed, mulling the idea in his head for a moment. "I just thought you said you didn't think you weren't quite ready yet."

The little kobold still laying on his lap frowned slightly. "I wasn't. But, I'd like to try." His lips turned up into the slightest of smiles.

"Well, okay then. We can absolutely do that," Vireo beamed down at him, slightly nervous, but honestly more excited than he had any business admitting. At least right now.
