Chapter: 02

"Tyrek! Get off of him!" She pushed him and went to Morris.

"BOOOOOO!!!!" Booed the crowd.

"Morris, are you alright?" Asked Penny as she began to support him.

Morris' vision was blurry, and he was badly beaten. "P-P-Pen-Pen... is at you?" He asked weakly.

"I'm here Morris." She responded, smiling weakly about to tear up.

Tyrek got back up and walked torwards them. Penny held Morris tightly, looking at Tyrek angrily.

"You ought to be ashamed of yourself Tyrek. You always do this! Why?! Why?! Why?!!!" She shouted while tears were rolling down her face.

"Hey everybody! Get to class! And what is all that racket? Shouted the principal as he was walking towards the scene.

As he approached the scene, he wasn't prepared for what he was going to see.

"Dear God!" He ran towards Morris. "What happened here?" He asked the remaining people in he crowd.

"There was a fight!" Said a random human boy.

"And Tyrek pounded him!" Said a random anthro wolf boy.

"Oh yeah! That was funny!" Said another person. Everyone started laugh.

The principal interrupted. "Okay everyone focus! Did anyone saw how his transpired?"

One of Tyrek's friends raised their hand. The principal pointed at him.

"Well, you see. Morris was walking around and he saw Tyrek. So he punched him in the back of his head, Tyrek punched back and they began fighting."

Aidan, still curled into the ball heard the lies that he was telling the principal. He was furious At the lies he was hearing, so he bit Tyrek's friend's leg.

"YEEOW!!!" He screamed and kicked Aidan across the hallway.

"Woooooaah!!" Screamed the green feathered hippy duck as he was flying over the crowd.

"You guys! Stop playing! Okay... now," He was looking around the crowd. "Is here anyone who can back up this claim?"

The majority of people in he crowd raised their hands. Penny was shocked, she couldn't say anything because she knew that she would be out numbered, shunned, and dismissed.

"Morris! I should've known that you've started this! Now look at you! You started something you couldn't finish! Now get up!"

Morris slowly got up, wincing at the pain of his bones aching. Penny and her cat friend ran and supported him up.

"Good, now follow me." The principal ordered. They proceeded to follow him while the crowd was staring, making them feel uncomfortable.

"EEEEW! Gross! Like-- totally Morris face is-- like, totally disgusting!" Complained the blonde haired cat girl.

"Ed!" Penny snapped. "Stop complaining! Just follow principal Bollers!"

They made it to the principals office. The girls sat Morris down gently.

"Well Morris. I expected better from you. You, starting a fight? Come on!" Said the irritated principal.

"But principal! I know Morris didn't--" Penny was cut off by Principal Bollers.

"You two! Leave! Or else, I'll include you two in this!"

Penny just rolled her eyes and left, her friend followed and was about to close the door, but before she did, she looked at Morris sympathetically and closed the door.

They were now gone, and the principal began to lecture him. Morris just sighed having to bear it all, until he interrupted.

"But sir! They s-s-started it! I-I didn't do anythang!"

"Well according to all the witnesses, they said that it was you, who was the one who started it." This widened Morris' eyes.

"Wait-- ah-buh-- whaaat?..." Morris was speechless.

"Well, we'll find out, right after we bring your mother down here. Maybe that will get you to tell the truth." He picked up the telephone.

The phone trilled for a couple of seconds until he started to talk on the phone.

"Hello? Yes, this is principal Bollers. Your son, Morris," He gave Morris a glare. "had gotten into a fight--"

"A FIGHT?!?!?!" Morris mom shouted so loud that he could hear her. This also hurted principal Bollers' ear.

It took him a minute to recover. "Y-yes, yes. A fight. When will you be here? Twenty minutes? Okay, I'll see you then." And with that, he hung up.

--Twenty Minutes Later--

"Right this way ma'am." Said a female worker as she opened the door for Morris' mom.

"Thank you." Thanked Morris' mom she walked in the office.

She saw Morris' bruised face. "*GASP* MAURICE!! What happened to you?" She asked worried while she was grabbing his face.

"I'm fine mom. Also, my name is Morris..." Replied the embarrassed mutt.

She dugged in her purse and took out a towel and wiped the blood off his face.

"Ow! Mom!" Whined the embarrassed mutt as he was getting his face wiped in front of principal Bollers.

"There, all finished *Kiss*" She kissed him on the cheek, trying her best to comfort him, unknowingly embarrassing him.

"Well." The principal interrupted. "Now, allow me to tell you what happened. Morris, if you would, could you please step out?"

"Sure..." Morris walked out the office and closed the door behind him. He looked to his left and saw his little cousin, his older sister holding his baby brother. He sat next to his little cousin.

His little cousin, Nina smirked, trying to hold in her laughs. "So, I heard you got beat up. *snickers*."

"Wh-what! How did you know?" Asked Morris.

"Those guys over there told me." She pointed to the jockeys. Morris looked over there and saw that they were picking at him.

"Nina, it's not nice to pick on Morris. You wouldn't like it if anyone picked on you, would you?" Asked Morris' sister, Mary-Len.

"But, Mary-Len! He tease me! And--"

"Not now Nina. Morris' not feeling well."

"Aw poo!" She sighed angrily and folded her arms.

A red haired chipmunk/ squirrel girl ran towards Morris and hugged him.

"Uh... h-h-hiiiiya Miranda... *blushes*" Morris was starting to become nervous.

"Morris. I know that everybody here don't believe in you... but I just want to let you know that I will always believe in you." She ran away blushing madly.

"Huh-Wha--...?" Morris blinked a couple of times, trying to process what just happened.

"Wow Morris. I had no idea that you loved Miranda back. I thought you loved Penny." Teased Mary-Len.

"Wh-what?! I don't even like Miranda, I mean sure she's hot and got a nice butt but still... I don't like her!!!"

Mary-Len smirked "Tee-Hee, sure you don't like her."

Around the corner Miranda heard what they were talking about and blushed madly hoping to win his heart someday.
