#41 of Transformation Stories

Being on a game show could be the opportunity of a lifetime, but when nbowa is the host of the show, perhaps it's the kind of thing you should avoid.

His contestants this time around are huscoon, Dustyfoxy, and Orioles83, and regardless of the place they each finish in, the lion is the real winner, as all three contestants end up backstage after the show, demanding to have a prize!

The crafty lion talks them down and offers them some donuts and coffee. Before too long, they're overwhelmed by a number of changes, and they find focus impossible to keep, as a certain lust begins to build in each of them...one that Nbowa plans to take full advantage of.

As always, read, comment and enjoy!

"We've got three wonderful contestants this time around, so don't you touch that dial! It's another episode of everyone's favorite game show, 'In The Lion's Den,' coming up next on FTV!"

An audience erupted with cheers, guided by the lighted signs that hung above them, out of view from the cameras. In a style that was true to "The Price Is Right," the announcer sat at a table that was actually among the crowd, and everyone cheered as they looked onto the stage, eagerly awaiting their favorite host, the lion that the country had become enamored with over the previous years.

"And here he is, ladies and gentlemen: Nboooooooooowa Liiiiiiiion!"

Through a bright, red curtain on the stage of a studio set, a lion burst forth, parting the curtains before they ever had a chance to separate for him. His energy was as high as it ever was, and as everyone had come to expect, he was dressed in a tight, sharp suit. Black slacks and a black sport coat sat over a bright red dress shirt and a white tie, and his mane was combed back perfectly, giving his blonde bangs the featured spotlight that they so rightly deserved.

He was a spectacle, to say the least, and he had the crowd in the palm of his paw.

"Thanks, Joshiah! It looks like we're gonna have a wonderful show tonight, but honestly, when don't we? There's three contestants waiting backstage for their chance to come on the show and be our big winner, and they've been so patient waiting for the show to start, I think we should just call 'em out right now. How about it, coyofolf?"

"Sounds great, Nbowa! First up, hailing out of Illinois, we've got Exile Huscoon! Exile, come on down!"

As the curtains opened up, the stage was already set, and a small door was set up to the right side of the lion, where the contestants could make their way out. With arms up and an eager grin, Exile came running out through the door, jumping and bouncing around with so much energy, one might think that the curl of his tail was actually the spring on a trampoline.

He went through the usual routine as he came across the stage, and Nbowa wore a smile that was so casual, it was almost cheesy in comparison to the huscoon hybrid that was cheering so loud, the people in the audience were almost drowned out. The host and contestant shared the usual handshake, and Nbowa pointed over at one of the chairs, which Exile rushed right over to. Even when he sat down, his legs were still kicking back and forth, and his paws were clinging to the frame of the chair, as if it might actually launch him across the room if he dared to let go.

"Next up, we've got another hybrid, this one coming from Iowa! Everyone put your paws together for Orio, the chynx!"

A hybrid of a cheetah and a lynx was a rare thing to see, and if you blinked, you might have missed this one, as well. He was a flash of spots and sandy yellow fur as he ran from the door and wrapped his arms right around Nbowa, forgoing the usual handshake and going for a much more intimate approach.

The host was an experienced one, lucky for the crowd, and Nbowa just chuckled and shook his head as he slipped his arms around the eager hybrid for a quick squeeze, before patting him on the back and sending him over to one of the chairs on the stage. "That was a little too close, Joshiah! Do you think I'll survive contestant number three?"

"With the kind of luck you have? I'm sure you'll be just fine as you welcome Dusty Fotter, currently hailing from Arizona!"

'In The Lion's Den' was always the kind of show to feature a variety of different creatures, and they were proud of their history being so anti-discriminatory. This time around, they had three different hybrids as contestants, and all of them looked primed and ready to go for the grand prize on the show, as Dusty ran out onto the stage in a flash of orange fur. His bright, almost cyan blue hair was rustled by his pace as he actually ran right past Nbowa, offering only a solid high-five as they passed each other. In all of his years on the show, however, the lion had seen just about everything, and his paw made perfect contact as the fox-otter hybrid passed him by and nearly jumped into his chair.

The applause finally began to die down as Nbowa held the long, cardiac microphone in his paws and turned to the contestants. "I think this is our first ever episode with all hybrid contestants! You three could be in line to win some serious cash, so I hope you've got your thinking caps ready and fired up! Let's start with our first game: True Or False Lion Facts!"

Just as quickly as it died down, the applause and cheer erupted once again from the eager crowd. Small podiums rose up from the stage, right in front of the chairs that the contestants were seated at, each one displaying their names in blue lights, against a black background. There was a score beneath each name, but naturally, they were all marked with zeroes, to start.

"All right, let's go over the rules," Nbowa said, before the crowd even had a chance to properly quiet down. "I'm going to ask you a true or false question about some lesser known lion facts, and you simply have to reply with a true or false answer! If you're right, that adds 100 points to your score, but if you're wrong, you lose 100 points, and yes, you can go negative in this game, so don't buzz in unless you're sure of the answer!"

Three sets of paws immediately hovered over the buzzers on the podiums as the contestants stared each other down. Exile had the most menacing look in his eyes, and he was confident that he knew more about lions than any of his other competitors.

"First question: Lions naturally exist only on the continent of Africa, true or false?"

Exile buzzed in without hesitation. "True! Lions are only born naturally in Africa."

A loud, deep buzzing noise rang through the crowd, who let out the telltale awwwwww. "I'm sorry, but that's false! There's a small community of lions that still exists naturally in Asia, meaning that they naturally inhabit two continents. That's 100 points off of Exile's score...and we'll just distribute those points in a 50/50 split to Dusty and Orio!"

" What?! You didn't say that would happen!" Exile growled out, nearly jumping over his podium in frustration.

"I never said that it wouldn't, either! Question two," Nbowa carried on, never missing a beat, and never letting the grin fall from his muzzle, "A lion's roar can only be heard from one mile away."

This time, it was Dusty who was fastest to the buzzer. "False!" he yelled out, simultaneous with his paw slamming down on the red button. "A lion's roar can be heard much further away than that."

" Correct! In an open space, a lion's roar can be heard from as far away as five miles! We just don't abuse that power too often," Nbowa confirmed, before adding a quick joke for the crowd. It wasn't his best work, but the lighted signs that hung above still gave instructions when necessary, and 'laughter' was one of them. "That gives Dusty a commanding lead, with just two questions left!"

Orio wilted his ears flat and pouted, but his smile managed to hang around, given that he was in second place, still. The show had a reputation for giving out decent prizes to the final two contestants, but third place never paid out well, making Exile's frustration that much more reasonable.

"Let's move right into question three...true or false: In a straight line, a lion can run as fast as fifty miles an hour!"

Exile slammed down on the buzzer again, this time perhaps sealing his own fate with his snark. "False! Lions aren't nearly that fast, even in a straight line! I don't think you've ever broken twenty!"

While the crowd was quick to get a cheap laugh out of the statement, the loud, deep buzzer went off again, and Exile slammed his forehead on the end of his podium as Nbowa adjusted his tie and took the high road, deciding not to properly address the joke. "Actually, that fact is true! Lions in the wild have been recorded running just a tick above fifty miles per hour for short distances. That puts Exile at negative 200 points, and boosts the scores of each of his competitors yet again!"

Orio did a quick, tiny dance in his chair and wiggled slightly as Dusty grinned, confident that he would be able to win the game with the kind of lead that he'd taken. 'In The Lion's Den' was a notoriously short game show, taking up only half an hour of time, and most of that was saved for commercials.

"We've got just one question left in the first round, and it's worth double the points, so listen carefully! True or false: A lion may sleep for as many as twenty hours of the day."

The way that Nbowa read the question was so quiet and careful that it actually made the contestants hesitate to answer right away. It seemed like such an easy and obvious answer, given the sleeping patterns that Nbowa himself employed, but that didn't mean that he'd ever made the 20 mark. Sleeping for such a long time outside of a coma was unusual, but Dusty took the risk and slowly pressed his palm upon the buzzer.

"T-true. A lion may sleep for as long as twenty hours in a given day."

Building dramatic tension was the name of the game in show business, and Nbowa was among the best in the business. The crowd played along rather nicely, as well, staying completely silent until Nbowa lifted his microphone again and pointed forcefully at Dusty's podium. " Correct! A tired lion may find himself taking a twenty hour nap on any given day! That's double points for Dusty, giving him a commanding lead going into our second round, but first, we need to take a commercial break! We'll be back with round two on 'In the Lion's Den' after these words from our sponsors!"

As was always the case going into a game show commercial, the crowd cheered, and a small portion of the theme music played as the camera panned around a couple times. Popular as the show was, it was still a standard game show in many ways; it was just the one that had perfected all of the old tropes, and found ways to make the old feel new again. Nbowa was the perfect combination of professional, humorous and charismatic for the show, and he personally interviewed the contestants before they came on the show to make sure that they'd be entertaining for the crowd to watch.

This particular episode, he went a little bit out of his way to pick the contestants he did, with motives of his own to worry about.

**

The rest of the show went off without much of a hitch, and despite the pre-conceived notion that Exile knew the most about lions, it was Dusty who ended up blowing away the competition and coming in first by a wide margin. Neither of his competitors was even close at any point in the game, and as usual, the ending credits rolled up the screen with a silent backdrop of the contestants all standing around and chatting with the host, and with each other.

If the program were to broadcast what they were saying to each other, or if the crowd could even hear it, the show might be cancelled that afternoon.

"I'm sorry, but we just don't have the prizes ready. You'll have to come on through the back and join me in the office for a moment."

Exile couldn't have been that much more frustrated, since all that he ended up winning was a gift card to The Olive Garden, but Orio and Dusty had real prizes to claim, and despite his personality being rather timid, even Orio was starting to get up in arms about claiming his prize.

It wasn't until Nbowa walked off of the stage and began to loosen his tie just a little bit, and the contestants started to follow him, that they began to pick up on some odd things about the show. The points mattered in determining the winner, but there wasn't any actual mention of prizes on the show from the announcer. There wasn't a system where points translated into dollars, and despite all of the flash and flair that went into production, there weren't any cars hidden backstage, any large or expensive gifts to be given out, and there certainly wasn't any money to be spread around.

There was only a small, dinky break room, one that Nbowa ushered the contestants into before he closed the door behind him and locked it, making sure that no one would barge in and interrupt what would surely be a delicate discussion.

"Gentlemen, I'm sorry, but there aren't any prizes for you to claim."

The statement was simple, but it was bold; to tell people who were expecting to win exotic trips and lump sums of cash, this was the kind of news that might send somebody into a rage.

"So we came all the way out here for nothing?!" Exile shouted, as he slammed his palms down on the cheap table in the middle of the room.

"Well, you did, because you came in last," Nbowa reminded him. "Let's be rational adults and discuss all of this...please, take a seat, have some donuts and coffee, and try to relax. You guys just enjoy your snacks, and I'll explain things the best that I can."

Mob mentality came just seconds from taking over, but the contestants were a bit peckish, and luck was on Nbowa's side once again as the trio calmed down and roughly pulled their chairs out from the table. A box of donuts was left open on the table, and a couple of pots of coffee were sitting and waiting, still carrying just enough warmth to leave the liquid inside at a palatable level.

"There we are," Nbowa said calmly, as he tried to bring the pace of the moment down a couple notches. "You see, we really do appreciate all of you making the trip out here for the show, and you will be compensated for room and board, of course, but we don't have any actual prizes at this time. We never do."

"So...there was literally no point to us doing this. It was a game that we couldn't win," Dusty commented, as he took a bite of the surprisingly sweet, refreshing donut. The pink frosting and rainbow of sprinkles upon it were cutting into his sour mood already, but it wouldn't be nearly enough to make him forget what he felt he deserved. "What kind of sick, twisted joke is that?"

"The kind that makes excellent television and gives us incredible ratings," Nbowa pointed out. "No one ever pays attention at the beginning, but we never actually have prizes for anyone, and we never announce specifically what any of them are. No one notices that fact, so at the end of the game, no one knows for sure what they're getting...and basically, they're getting fifteen minutes of fame, some donuts, some coffee, and a free hotel room."

That wasn't nearly enough to make the contestants feel like they'd been properly compensated, of course. "I have to fly all the way back to Iowa!" Orio pouted, as he took a half-hearted bite out of a donut. "What's the point of coming all the way out here if you're just gonna pay to send me back home?"

"You got to be on TV, didn't you? And you had fun?"

Orio huffed and crossed his arms. "A little."

"That's good! And you should be pretty excited, since the real fun hasn't even started yet!"

"The game is over," Exile pointed out. "I don't know what other kind of fun could be waiting for us."

Three donuts were quickly polished off, and the trio of hybrids started to reach for another, all at the same time. They each hesitated, allowing manners to dictate who would get the first, tasty treat, but as Exile reached toward the box, he noticed something strange about his paw...and the paws of his competitors.

"Well, you see, there's no prizes for winning, but there is definitely a penalty for losing. I know it's a little bit complicated, but if you'll just bare with me, I think you'll come to understand how we keep our production costs so low."

Orio was the first one to get another donut, but Dusty smacked it right out of his paw. He could see the grin widening across Nbowa's muzzle as the lion watched, standing at the end of the table and already able to see what the others weren't sure was true. "...What's in the donuts, Nbowa?"

"A gift from our announcer, Joshiah. He has the hook up on some really interesting stuff...starts with a 'p,' I think? Either way, that doesn't really matter. What matters is that it affects everyone differently, but the end result is always the same: you end up working on our show, and they seem all too happy to do it."

The lion didn't seem to care much at all, as each of his contestants began to panic. He just loosened his tie and slowly removed it as Exile stood up so rapidly that it knocked his chair over. Orio tried to stand, but instead fell to his knees as a pain began to build in his stomach, and though Dusty was able to move toward the lion, something stopped him from getting too far.

"Don't really feel like coming after me anymore, do you, Dusty?"

The fotter was afraid to admit what was keeping him from rushing forward, but when he made the mistake of standing up, it stuck right out from his jeans and sent a flush into his cheeks.

"Like I said, it hits everyone a little differently, but it always ends the same...the stuff works, Dusty, and it works to perfection. You can be as angry at me as you want, but the chemicals in that donut have already done their work. You can't decide if you want to fight me...or fuck me, can you?"

Dusty was gritting his teeth together as he tried to fight the sensations, but he could already feel strong chemicals warping his brain, and his entire line of thinking. Exile was leaning against the wall as he watched a streak of color shoot up from his paw to his forearm, as the mingled white and brown fur all turned one bright, brilliant shade of white. The muscles and bulk that he was so proud of were already starting to shrink down, and he could feel his entire skeletal structure thinning out, a sensation that he didn't dare to try and describe as he fought against his sudden spike of arousal.

It was a losing battle, however, and the sooner Exile accepted it, the sooner that he would be on the same page as Dusty.

"You'd better tell me fast, Dusty, It looks to me like you won't be able to answer at all, in a moment."

Nbowa was already a little bit taller than the fotter, but he actually appeared to be growing in front of Dusty, even if logic told him such wasn't possible. The fox-otter hybrid was quick to put the pieces together, as he literally watched his legs shrinking down just slightly. It looked as though his body was literally melting away, but when it finally stopped, he stood just a little taller than waist height on the lion, and his spine was beginning to adjust, as well, making him even shorter. The transformation was a rapid one, but Dusty was catching on quick, as his angry replies were coming out in the form of cute, quiet little chirps and chitters, no matter how terrible the intent behind them.

I'm becoming feral, he realized, driving the point home with his mental panic. He gasped and threw his paws in front of his muzzle as it widened and shrunk back, becoming just slightly more blunt. His rudder tail thrashed against the chairs nervously as his clothes became too big for his body, and while he still had opposable thumbs, he threw his shirt off of his smaller figure and glared up at the lion, knowing now that he was too small, too weak, and too aroused to do anything close to an act of revenge.

Poor Orio wasn't faring any better. His clothes still fit, but his body wasn't quite the right type for them, as his tight shirt began to strain against the growth of flesh that was bulging from his chest. Two full, supple lumps were pushing harder and harder against his top as his stomach continued to churn, and he never could have known that the organs inside were literally melting away and shifting into one another.

Before too long, they'd be a more appropriate reflection of the new organs on his chest, ones that were already becoming thick and heavy with their transformation. "Y-you can't do this to us!" Orio protested, but Nbowa was completely ignoring the cheetah-lynx, opting to focus his efforts on undressing himself. He was calculated in it, removing his coat slowly and unbuttoning his shirt with a certain patience as Dusty approached his ankles. Still in disbelief, Orio stripped away his shirt, exposing his breasts, and a change in the color that usually rested upon the same; his fur was turning black, entirely, and it was spreading fast, starting with his new breasts and moving quickly down his tummy and over the shrinking bulge in his pants.

"A feral otter, a black lab, and an arctic fox...quite the lucky draw for me, this time around!" Nbowa suggested, acting as calm as ever. On the other side of the room, Orio was shrieking like a little girl, and that wasn't too far from the reality of his actions, as he slipped out of his jeans and noticed only a lump between his legs, with small lips beginning to form upon it. Exile might have laughed at something like that, normally, but his curled tail had fallen flat over his rump, and as skinny as his new body was, his jeans fell right to the floor, along with his boxers...such a thing might have forced others to cover themselves with modesty, but the tainted treats contained plenty of chemicals to make sure that modesty was the last thing on any of their minds.

Angry as they all might have been, they couldn't properly connect with that anger, anymore. They were already becoming slaves to the budding lust within their bodies, and Nbowa knew how to manipulate such feelings better than most. "I can do whatever I want, Ori...I'm surprised you haven't figured that out yet, like little Dusty here," he said, as he gazed down at the former fox-otter hybrid. He was now only half of that equation, entirely the aquatic half, and though he kept his same orange coloration with the stark, cyan stripe along his back, his body shape was completely changed, and the thick, pulsing rod between his legs was a sign that he'd given in to the lust giving chemicals.

Not one to deny a willing vector a show, Nbowa finally unbuckled his belt and allowed his trousers to fall into a puddle around his ankles, while pulling down on the stark, red boxers underneath. He was naked as the day he was born, the same as his contestants, but he clearly still held all of the power as he beckoned at Exile. It took nothing more than that for the transformed arctic fox to begin slinking his way across the room, stepping right over Orio and going right to his knees; he may as well have been made of rubber, as easily as Nbowa bent him to his whims.

"That stuff worked wonders on you...I didn't even have to make an order!" Nbowa cheered Exile on, as the arctic fox looked up at the lion responsible for all of the madness with eyes that glazed over with desire. He didn't dare to look past the thick, hanging rod of flesh that brushed his muzzle, however, and he opened wide as he took it in, wrapping his tongue around the underside and guiding it further into his maw without so much as a word. Poor Dusty was nearly crushed by the movement, but he deftly stayed out of the way, and for what little sympathy Nbowa had, it was going to be used on the otter. "Ori...be a dear and come this way, would you?"

Once a proud combination of felines, and someone who was proud of their nub tail, Ori was coated in soft, black fur, and her tail was long and wagging rapidly at the prospect of being needed, making her a proper canine, if nothing more. Her eyes had shifted from blue to a softer green, and she came to sit at Nbowa's side with a swishing tail and a tongue exposed from her panting breaths, as the lustful chemicals tainted her mind.

"Good girl...don't leave poor Dusty hanging, Ori. A feral little beast like him could use quite the treatment, I'm sure!"

The chain was almost complete, as Exile hungrily gorged himself on Nbowa's full, impressive length. Under the small bridge of flesh that was formed by their bodies, Ori helped Dusty onto his back and immediately leaned right over, slurping her long, canine tongue along the drizzling length of Dusty's transformed cock. It was almost sharp in the shape that it took, but it felt pleasant against Ori's tongue, and she rumbled with delight as she took another greedy slurp.

The contestants couldn't have known, and certainly didn't have a clue that the footage was being recorded, creating the kind of blackmail tape that neither party would want getting out to the public. It was just what Nbowa needed as a safety valve, to make sure that his actions wouldn't come back around to bite him, and Exile certainly wasn't going to, as the tip of the lion's manhood brushed against the back of his throat and tickled at his tonsils. The soft, wide and fluffy tail of the newly made arctic fox wouldn't stop swishing as he enjoyed his plentiful mouthful, and just beneath him, Dusty squirmed and squeaked with delight as Ori hungrily began to bob her head upon his length.

"C-can't leave a bitch like that w-wanting," Nbowa suggested, as he grunted through his words, finding Exile to have perhaps the tightest throat he'd ever had the pleasure of fucking. "Let's finish this right...turn around, Exile, and Ori, get right underneath him..."

Nbowa stood still and waited as his new batch of slaves followed his every order. Exile pouted at first, but finally did pull the dripping, saliva coated cock from his muzzle and bent right over, lifting his tail so fast that Nbowa never had a chance to tell him to do it. Ori was a perfectly submissive little bitch, and happily crawled under Exile, so long as it meant that she was being a good girl, and she took Dusty with her, keeping the smaller otter pinned under her hips.

Lubricated with a healthy amount of spit, Nbowa forced his member to Exile's eager tailhole and pressed it in, forcing the arctic fox to lunge forward just a little bit and do the same to the black lab underneath him. Ori squealed with delight as her anus was prodded, and her knees went weak, dropping her new, virgin womanhood onto the glistening tip of Dusty's cock.

All at once, the host and contestants were completely connected in what he would often have called his favorite game, but this time, he simply grunted in ecstasy as his movements dictated every action beneath him: if he held still, everyone else held still below. When his hips did decide to thrust, each body moved under him, meaning that even then, he still controlled the pleasure of each contestant...and that kind of control was quite the turn on.

"S-see? I told you...you'd all be handsomely compensated," Nbowa was happy to remind his new pets, as he took no mercy on Exile, and the arctic fox replied with a happy growl, feeling his asshole stretch further and further around the length that filled it. He was never quite able to fully penetrate Ori without the proper lubrication, but his cock still ran between the full, supple curves that she had been blessed with, and her tail coiled around the back of the fox, keeping him in close as she lowered her hips on every thrust and rode little Dusty for all that his impressive otter flesh was worth. He could only offer feral squeals of enjoyment, but the message was clear across the board as each member of the party fought against their own orgasm.

The chemicals were indeed a double-edged sword, in that sense; the provided an arousal that was sure to last, but forced the first orgasm to be swift and fleeting, so that it left the new pets wanting more. Exile was already beginning to peak, something that he was ashamed to openly admit, as Ori's folds drizzled upon Dusty's lap and soaked her juices into his soft underbelly.

Anyone walking by the break room would have known exactly what was going on, but everyone who worked on the show was in on the deal, and no one dared to interrupt. "I...f-fucking can't help it...g-gonna cum...I'm gonna cum!" Exile cried out, able to feel Nbowa pouring his manhood deep into his rear entrance on each and every brutal thrust. The lion took no mercy and no pity on the arctic fox, who held as still as he could to take the lion as deep as he would go, while white, stick seed began to spray up from the tip up his own member and gush across Ori's back, staining it with a contrasting cream and coating his own stomach, as well, as he panted and tried not to collapse.

The transformation left Ori exhausted, as well, but she was carrying most of the weight in the orgy, and her body refused to give out as her inner walls clenched around Dusty's cock and squeezed it, trying to milk the seed right out of it. Her entire passage quaked with delight as she winced her eyes shut and experienced her first proper, female orgasm, feeling a kind of pleasure that she couldn't begin to draw comparison to. "O-oh, oooh my gosh! I'm cumming... f-fuck, I'm cumming all over this c-cute little otter!" she cried out, nearly feeling guilty for the same as a small flood of excess juices spilled over Dusty's body and began to pool on the floor, even as the otter returned the favor, letting out a triumphant growl and pumping his seed right back into her cunt.

Nbowa could have lasted a bit longer if he was honest with himself, but the mess was already beginning to spread, and he needed to be sure that his slaves would be truly obedient. He gripped the base of his cock and slowly pulled out of Exile, before snapping his pawtips together. Three sets of ears perked and faced Nbowa as he jerked his own flesh back and forth in long, slow strokes, and precum began to spill to the floor. "Let's...ahh... let's s-seal the deal, shall we?" he asked, as Exile knelt down and opened his muzzle, despite the cum that was still leaking out of his own manhood. Ori knelt next to him, and Dusty, being a little smaller, climbed up between their laps, as three open muzzles waited for their final offering.

It might not have been the grand prize they were wanting, but Nbowa dug his claws into the chair next to him and cranked his cock tightly, milking a sudden, thick burst of cum from the tip. It sprayed across all three of his targets, and immediately, the trio came a little closer, each one desperate to get as much of a taste as they could. Thin, sticky ropes of ejaculate gushed out from Nbowa's full, throbbing length and soaked each of the former contestants, leaving white streaks upon their muzzles and across their tongues for them to swallow.

Panting quietly and pausing to wipe a little sweat from his brow, Nbowa was still wearing the same grin that he had when the transformations started, and by the looks of it, they'd all completely taken...whether or not the contests would ever shift back was a secret that Nbowa held onto, but as long as they were given a weekly dose of the chemicals, they'd remain too loyal to Nbowa to ever hope to quit the show...whether or not they were properly compensated.

There was one person who had a key to the break room door, and it finally swung open as Joshiah peeked his head in the room.

"We got it all, Nbowa. Shall I put this episode online, as well?"

"Sure..." he replied, still just slightly out of breath. "I think this is going to be the most popular one yet."
