Diamond looked down at the floor, he was shattered. His whole existence was called into question. He was so sure that there was something special about the Pegasus race. They were the Asgard's "chosen" people but Obsidian and himself were the only ones. He did not want to fight anymore. He had given them exactly what they wanted by trying to save his universe, his world.

He reached down into his boot and pulled out a knife that shimmered in the green glow from the core. Both Munchy and Aries stared down at him, not quiet sure what to say of believe.

"D-Diamond..." said Munchy unsure, his tail twitching slightly, not sure what to do or say that could make him feel better. He watched the knife, worried about his friends sanity. Everyone had given him such a hard time and at the end of it all he was just as helpless as the rest of them.

Ada had begun to erect a tablet for the dormant Kestra who was being suspended onto it and really did not care about them. Diamond was broken and they were unwilling to destroy the station. There was no threat.

Diamond raised to his feet, his eyes streaming with tears. He unfurled his wings and stared at the knife. Was suicide a mortal sin...? At this point he did not care. He just wanted to end it all as quickly as possible.

"Diamond... No!" shouted both Munchy and Aries in succession as Diamond winced in pain. After a few seconds it was all over and he collapsed to the floor. However he was still alive and his bloody wings dropped beside him.

He got up, blood seeping through his back but it would heal. He had cut off his wings and looked back at the others, his long face and green eyes looking more determined then ever. He snarled darker then he ever had before and nodded.

"For Terra..." he said before he charged straight at Ada who had just completed impaling Kestra to the tablet. Ada was taken completely off guard before Diamond jumped onto her, she had no time to cast a spell.

Diamond smashed her in the face causing her to bleed. "IMMORTAL!" shouted Diamond as he let out all his rage in one go. "MY!" He pounded into her, slashing the knife into her, making her bleed heavily. "ASS!"

Diamond spent the next few seconds stabbing the knife into her with pure rage at what he was and what he had become. Aries moved in to pulled Diamond off her but Munchy stopped him.

"He needs this." he said to Aries who looked down at him. "He needs to get rid of all that pain and anger... its common in soldiers, they keep their rage inside like that. But it does no good, you understand right?"

Aries nodded and watched the rage in Diamond subside as Ada lay bleeding in a huge pool of blood. Diamond felt his pain, his rage end and it left him feeling empty as he threw the knife away. He was completely covered in blood as it dripped on his white fur.

Munchy went to Diamond and gave him a large warm huge afterwards that gave Diamond some comfort. His markings had disappeared, probably the result of Levantine leaving his body, he was now completely white with blood all over him.

It was some comfort.

The whole room suddenly began to shake as the conduits that connected the four legendary people to the core suddenly became active with green energy causing all four of them to shriek in pain. A fox, A wolf, A dragon and an Echidna all in incredible pain as their energy was absorbed into the core.

"Finally!" shouted Galladia. "My dream will be realised... I will become perfect!"

"Galladia!" called Diamond, he then looked at the others. "We have to destroy the station, its our only hope to save our existence."

"Well in 'hat case" smiled Aries as he pulled out a beautiful custom silver handgun from his belt where it had been concealed.

"A custom 23. Terran hand-cannon!?" shouted Munchy almost in excitement. "Hang on.. they're illegal!"

Aries smiled. "I know..."

He aimed the cannon at the glowing green core and the three of them got ready to embrace the cold abyss of space that awaited them if they survived the explosion.

Outside, events played out just as they had before with a beam firing towards Terra, making the planet crack and implode on itself however this time, the Valkyrie had been far too close to the planet and was destroyed almost instantly.

The portal appeared but this time round, the station shot out a powerful green beam as Galladia's ship uncloaked and flew beside the station, extending a powerful bubble of hexagons around the vessel protecting it from the debris of the planet as it was pulled into abyss of light.

"Shoot it!" shouted Diamond, his back still bleeding as the station travelled into the portal.

Aries fired the hand-cannon which gave a very powerful kickback and launched a bullet in slow motion due to the time dilation effect of the portal. The bullet penetrated the core which caused green lightening to shoot out around the room and explosions all around the room. The platform began to collapse.

Diamond saw this and grabbed hold of one of conduits above him that was connected to one of the tablets. "Grab on!" he shouted as the platform below began to collapse and fall into the dark abyss as the green core began to destabilise. Both Munchy and Aries grabbed on to the other power leads.

The floor underneath them completely fell into the abyss as the four legendaries slowly shattered into pure energy and into their respective items that fell into the abyss as well.

Diamond shuddered, Death was upon them as he hung on for life on the damaged station.
