#1 of Enter the Raptor

So this is a story I'm writing about my fursona (scalesona?) Rax. It's probably going to be an ongoing thing that I add to occasionally, but I suppose we'll wait and see how it goes. It's about student life, and will be influenced by my own experiences, with a lot of things made up to make it a little more interesting as well. Word of warning first though. It's not specifically a sex story, but there will be sex in it. Anyway, on with the story!

I'm Rax. Just Rax. I err, don't have a surname. Never needed one. I'm a raptor, although anyone with a knowledge of theropod dinosaurs will tell you that's quite a broad term. For those of you up on such things, I'm actually a Deinonychus antirrhopus, but who cares about that, right? I'm 5'8" tall, have a pretty average build with a little bit of muscle definition, despite not being particularly in fit, and have darkish grey scales covering most of my body. My hair (well, it's technically a big tuft of unkempt feathers on top of my head vaguely in the shape of a mullet) is crimson red, and matches the "wings" on my forearms and the fan on the end of my tail. The smoother scales on my chest and belly are a slightly lighter shade of grey, although now we're starting to get into my more private details. Maybe more on that later! Oh, and my eyes are a brilliant cyan, like sparkling, clear water... or so I've been told.

But enough about the way I look. I arrived in New York four weeks to the day after my eighteenth birthday, and that's where my story begins. I'd come all the way from the UK to study palaeontology (or should that be paleontology?) at the university. I appreciate the irony of a raptor studying fossils, but roll with it. I think it's fair to say I was a little nervous. I knew literally nobody in this city, in this country, on this continent... eep! My flight was delayed too, and to make things worse, I hadn't got a wink of sleep the night before I left. So, having been awake for nearly 48 hours, missed both of the buses to my accommodation, and having not had a bite to eat all day, I finally made it to where I would be spending the next four years of my life. My eyes were stinging, as I fumbled around for the right key to my room. I finally found it, and threw myself through the door, dragging my huge suitcase behind me. I kicked the door shut with my foot, and groaned as my sickle claw took a great chunk out of the wood. "That's coming out of my deposit..." I thought, as I dragged myself along the wooden floor to the bottom bunk. A bunk bed... great... I'd applied for single accommodation, but it looked like I would be sharing regardless. Now, I'm not one of those people who doesn't like other people... but I don't like other people. Okay, okay, I'm not that bad! I just like to have my own personal space where I can get away from it all, but sharing a bedroom with somebody you don't know kind of detracts from that. I poked my head out and peered up that the top bunk. The bed was made, to a very crude extent, and as I glanced around the room, I realised that not all the boxes in here were mine. That meant my roommate was already here, although there was no sign of him.

I lay there for a few minutes, staring up at the wooden slats holding up the top bunk. I could feel my eyes growing heavy, but decided it would be better to go out and be sociable. I hauled myself up off the bed, my claws clicking against the wooden floor, and grabbed the black, denim jacket I had thoughtlessly discarded upon entering the room. I made my way to the door, but it swung open before I could reach it. The individual on the other side froze for a moment, before a huge grin fill the tiger's face.

"Hey there buddy!" He said loudly. "You must be my roommate!"

From his accent I guessed he was pretty local. He was a couple of inches taller than me, and wore a pair of baggy shorts and a white vest (I think they call them wife beaters over here), and nothing on his feet. He had messy, brown hair, and is yellow eyes sparkled in the light of the sunset that was slowly descending on the city. He put out a huge paw to shake my hand. I took it.

"Hey. My name's Rax." I said awkwardly, my social skills being severely hampered by my current level of exhaustion.

"Oh wow, dude, no way!" Exclaimed the tiger. "You're British?! That's awesome! I never met a Brit before!"

"Uh, yeah..." I said scratching the back of my head with the hand that wasn't still locked in a powerful handshake. "What's your name?"

"Oh, right! I almost forgot! I'm Dale." Said the tiger. With that, he led me out of the door, and down the corridor to a communal kitchen. I took a seat at the dining table, while he rushed over to flick on the kettle.

"Coffee?" He asked. "You look beat, man! Did you fly today?"

"Yeah." I said, rubbing my eyes. "And yeah, coffee would be great."

I glanced over at a large box in the corner of the room covered in international shipping labels. It was full of all the essentials that I couldn't live without, including tea bags, although I was way too tired to go fishing around in it, and so settled for coffee. My gaze then fell back on Dale, who was fumbling around with mugs, and soon I found my eyes wandering to his rear end. And what a nice rear end it was, even beneath those baggy shorts. I should probably take this moment to give you an important detail about myself. I'm bisexual. Not openly so, but I wouldn't describe myself as in the closet either. To be perfectly honest, I never liked labels, and think the world would be a much better place if we ditched them completely. I'd never actually done anything with a guy, having had the same girlfriend through most of high school, but I certainly wasn't opposed to the idea. Not that it mattered. My gaydar was ringing negative on the tiger, and I quickly averted my gaze as he returned with two steaming mugs of coffee. He plonked one down in front of me, before pulling up a seat on the other side of the table. He took a sip, then let out a contented sigh.

"So, Rax, first time in NYC?" He asked.

It was probably my exhaustion again, but I momentarily completely forgot what NYC was.

"Huh?" I asked, although it was more of a grunt. Dale laughed.

"New York City?" He said. "Y'know, that place you're going to be spending the next four years? Or did you catch the wrong plane?"

I huffed in amusement.

"Yeah." I said. "First time in the states actually."

Dale's eyes widened a little.

"Wow." He said. "You've come all this way to study in a country you've never even visited?"

"Yeah? Is that strange?" I asked.

The tiger laughed.

"Not really. I'd only just graduated from high school when I went travelling around Europe. I spent a year there, and I'd never even left the country before then." Said Dale.

"Now that's impressive." I said.

Dale smiled and shrugged his wide shoulders.

"It's easier than a lot of people think." He said. "I hitchhiked most of the time, slept on peoples' couches, and worked for my supper. It was pretty wild."

Our conversation was broken as the door to the kitchen swung open, and in marched four more students. Two guys and two girls, and all dressed up for a night out. The first of the guys was a bear, who nicely fit the stereotype with his brown fur, thick muscles and buzz cut hair, and the second was a wolf, with grey fur and blue hair that hung down over half of his face. The first of the girls was a gazelle, who wore a short, black dress and had red hair, and the second was a dragoness with deep purple scales and mysterious, red eyes that almost seemed to glow. They were Coby (the bear), Chris (the wolf), Sophie (the gazelle) and Serena (the dragoness). Dale introduced me, although I almost immediately forgot all their names. I'd learn them properly as the year went on though, seeing as I was going to be sharing a kitchen with them.

"Hey, Rax." Said Dale. "We were all heading out to this great bar on campus. They serve under twenty ones too. Want to join us?"

As much as I really wanted to go with them, I knew that in my current state of exhaustion I wouldn't last half an hour. I politely declined, and once they were gone I set about unpacking my things.

I wasn't sure exactly what time it was when the door to the room swung open, but it was certainly in the early hours. I was facing the wall, and pulled the cover over my head to shield myself from the light of the hallway. The door was then slammed shut. "Well, that's Dale back." I thought to myself. Then I heard a girl's voice whisper something, before Dale replied, also in a whisper. I could hear a wet slurping sound drawing closer as the pair moved across the room, and quickly realised that they were kissing. "Great..." I thought to myself, as a soft thud on the floor indicated a discarded piece of clothing. Then another, and other. Their midnight escapade soon made its way to the top bunk. The frame of the bed creaked loudly as the pair adjusted themselves, before the slurping sound returned.

"Oh just get on with it!" I thought to myself, assuming the pair were still making out. Then I heard a moan from Dale, and realised that they weren't kissing. The bed began to shake rhythmically, and from my own experience I knew the girl was giving Dale a blow job. And a damn good one from the sounds he was making. This went on for a few minutes, before Dale interrupted her.

"Slow down babe." He whispered breathlessly. "I don't wanna cum just yet."

After a moment the bed started to rattle again, and from the girl's moans, I figured that Dale had decided to return the favour.

"Yeah, get on your back baby." Whispered Dale, as the bed shook. "Spread those legs for me, I wanna fuck that tight little pussy."

A moment later the girl let out a loud moan, and the bed shook again.

"Oh my god!" She cried, and the bed began to rattle rhythmically as the pair fucked on the bunk above me. It was at that point that I noticed my own erection growing beneath the sheets. "Shit..." I thought to myself. Despite my best efforts, the whole situation was a massive turn on. I wanted nothing more than to pull out my throbbing member and jerk off there and then, but I quickly decided against it. I lay there for what seemed like hours, listening to the pair. What else could I do? By this point their attempts to be subtle had gone out of the window, and were both moaning and grunting like animals as the bed shook violently beneath them. Eventually their breaths both became ragged, and I knew what was coming next. Dale grunted, then roared loudly, and I heard a quiet splat, followed by another, then another. My imagination needed no help in picturing what had just happened. The pair adjusted themselves, before going back to kissing, and finally I managed to drift off to sleep.
