Location: Terra â€" Rainbow Bridge Club â€" 4 months before Asgard Invasion

The club was in the centre of Chentrilla City's most vibrant entertainment district. Bright lights like the streets of this incredible area. The Rainbow Bridge club was one of the slightly newer clubs in this reason, it was a centre of raving and new music in Terra. Tonight was no exception, the club was heaving with all different species.

The dance-floor could not really be seen with the mass of anthropomorphic characters all jumping around to the beat of the music. A distinctive black and orange striped tiger-fox was working as a disc-jockey, scratching the spinning plates with his claws and making the crowd go mad with excitement.

"And this your resident dj, Miles... pumping out some tunes... how y'all feeling tonight!" the crowd cheered as Miles put on another song that made the crowd just jump around like a bunch of idiots.

"Resident dj?" asked a voice causing Miles to turn around from his DJ booth suspended high above the dance floor. "So when did a loser like you land this job...

"Colin!" shouted Miles, he jumped down from the decks to give Colin a large cuddle which made Colin feel a little more uncomfortable.

"Look... I know you like the boys but I don't..."

"Oh you're just kiddin' yourself, arn't ya" smiled Miles as he returned to change the track and then stepped down again, he stared at Colin who was still in his combats. "Hang on... your not here to arrest me are ya...? I sware it.... that girl deserved a slap, well it wasn't really a girl" said Miles speeding up. "It was some wolf in drag... honestly... it gave me a shock, 'im comin' onto me like that..."

Colin raised his eyebrows in confusion and just started to laugh. "I really did not come here to arrest you for liking trannies..." he giggled.

Miles stood there like he had been hit by a bus. This was the first time that he had seen Colin in almost five years. They were best friends in military academy but when it came to the crunch Miles could not hack it and dropped up, he could not handle the discipline like Colin could. "... I don't like trannies!" he shouted.

The lights passed over Colin's face, a beautiful but dazzling array of bright colours, vibrant pinks, ominous greens and dazzling blues. The Rainbow Bridge was famous for its amazing light-shows that always left who went there completely amazed and bedazzeled.

"Well... as much as I would like too... I'm not here to arrest you." smiled Colin, he stared at Miles. He had not changed in years, he had not even aged! He was still the same, young, impulsive tiger-fox that he had been then. "Nah... I'm here cos I heard your were working here.. thought I might stay here for a while..."

"Sure" smiled Miles as he concentrated on manipulating the controls for the clubs music and setting some of it to auto-play. "So where do you work now... did you get that instructor thing that you wanted...?"

"Well... I did that a little while." nodded Colin. "But I'm actually doing another job now". Miles smiled and nodded, urging Colin to tell him. "I'm chief security on an important Phoenix Grace excavation site.

Miles frowned as he put another song on which made the crowd cheer and dance again. He always enjoyed entertaining people from this height, it was both amusing to watch and fun to do. What he did not enjoy was the amount of woman that he seemed to be attract with his large muscles and strong physical stature.

The club was absolutely heaving at this point that the bouncers actually started turning people away, the bar was absolutely crowded by people just looking for a good night out. "So what do you do eh?" asked Miles...

"Oh nothing..." shouted Colin as he had to shout over the volume of the music that was drumming away inside his soul. "I just check out some things... my boss is a total cunt though... he's completely over the top about security!"

"It's an important project eh?" asked Miles as he twiddled with a few buttons inside the small dj booth.

"Yeah... its about some ship... dunno what quite but getting transferred anyway, apparently Chentrilla wants more soldiers stationed in city for some reason."

"Well its good that you came and saw me when you had the chance" smiled Miles when turned back to check on the tracks that he was playing. Colin just smiled, he was partly glad to be back in Chentrilla.

Location: Raven's Nest Shipyard â€" Main Core

"Wake up dearest..." said a female voice as Anna rose from her unconscious slumber and peered about the room. The main core was just a large circular platform which was suspended high above a huge shaft that looked like it could go on forever, A huge cylinder extended the whole length of the shaft and cut through the platform that Anna was standing on.

The core was suspended in this huge cylinder which glowed as if it was imbued by the gods themselves. The amount of pulsing energy passing through was phenomenal. This was the very heart, the very core of the station.

Raven's Nest Shipyard had once been one of Terra's proudest achievements, it acted as both a dry-dock and tactical command for all of Terra's vast empire. Raven's Nest was built over a period of five years and with powerful defensive turrets and massive ship deployment gates. However most impressive function was the core that powered the station, it was pure energy, both infinite and completely clean it worked on the first principle of matter-antimatter reactions that Terra had hoped would power a new propulsion device on their vessels.

Whether this would have happened had the Asgard not attacked remained to be seen and Raven's Nest was left to stay silently in space for almost two hundred years. Now the station was bustling again.

Anna shook her head, allowing her fur a few seconds to recover after the shock. She remembered some light music however it all seemed so vague. She stared around as two people watched her climb to her feet... all with distinctive green skin and beautifully sleek bodies.

"Who are you...?" asked Anna in her confusion which caused one of the females to move forward almost with a slight look of concern.

"Are you sure that she is the one...?" complained Kestra as she neared Anna and helped her to her feet. Ada just stood and watched Kestra struggle to help the shaken Anna up. She let out a frightful grin. "The energy that our Goddess sensed from her is undeniable..."

Kestra nodded and switched her personalities as quickly as she had shown concern, she grabbed for Anna's pocket and took out the hilt of Gungnir... she then let go of Anna who collapsed immediately onto the floor with a mixture of fear and confusion. "Well..." added Kestra, an evil and abhorrent smile flashed across her face as she walked back to Anna with Gungnir in her hands. "It looks like our imperious leader was correct... this is defo Gungnir"

"Don't kill her yet..." glared Ada who showed positive signs of pleasure as Anna's eyes went from confusion to a look of pure horror. "We need her as she is... if she indeed does carry the Sylvian Bow, Galladia was correct and all the pieces might have already come to us..."

Anna decided that she could do nothing, there was no way off this platform, no way to escape and expect rescue and she was intrigued. She had never heard of the something... bow and why did they want to kill her? What threat was she to Galladia... an all powerful Asgard goddess.

"Did you say that Galladia wasn't always right?" asked Kestra as she put the hilt onto the floor and traced a circle around it. The circle was inflamed immediately by ancient writings creating a doorway, a portal of light that opened up through Kestra's chanting in Asgard and her manipulation of divine power. Something emerged through the portal, a fox he fell out onto the floor, disorientated, as if he had been suspended in water for years.

"Silver!" shouted Anna in complete amazement. She rushed over to him but was smacked back by Ada who used her power to create a wall of unbreakable glass between them. Silverfox slowly regained awareness of his surroundings and his wet fur was illuminated from the glow of the core in the centre of the platform that was busy pumping energy towards the station.

Anna fell backwards as she was struck by the glass, she climbed back up to her feet, he tail providing her with the extra balance necessary and ran to the wall in-front of the uncaring Ada.

Silver stared up from his slumber and saw Anna watching over him through the glass. He defiantly pulled himself up and stumbled towards the wall. He had wondered if he was ever going to see her again, his soul suspended in Gungnir for so long.

"Witness sister!" shouted Kestra with glee as she put out her hands getting ready to cast another incantation. Silver struggled to the wall with Anna banging against the glass futilely, Silver finally came in contact with the wall in which his muffled voice came through the glass.

"A-anna?" he smiled for a second, safe in the knowledge that he had seen her again. Anna recoiled and put her hand up to the point in the glass where his was and they connected. This whole sick game was like watching something through the television, watching somebody who was deceased on film and wanting to reach out and touch them.

The pain was very real...

Kestra finished manipulating the spell which immediately sent out chains of light to lock onto Silver's paws and legs. Anna cried, tears streaming down her face, begging them to stop before a large stone tablet erected built onto the side of the circular platform.

Anna took one last look at Silver, her heart pounding and heavy. He smiled at her in the few seconds he had before the chains yanked him halfway across the platform to be suspended on the tablet.

"Don't be sad... ok?" he mouthed to her with a few extra words that Anna could not quite make out before he was pulled back onto the tablet, which extended a spike right through his torso and connected itself to the core in the middle.

Anna could only watch in horror as Kestra began to speak again in glee. "Notice the weakness of love... crying... what is crying!?" she shouted at Anna's tearful face. "Crying made me weak! Imperfect! Love is never eternal so get over it woman!"

Ada let out a howling laugh as all Anna could do was watched her lover, suspended on tablet above her... impaled.

She had also noticed that Gungnir had disappeared when Kestra had summoned Silver. Suddenly it all made sense to her, the invasion, the deaths everything. She could only find comfort in the knowledge that if her theory is correct... then it would not be long before she joined him there.
