In order to distract the teen wolf and our heroine from the horrors of life as a werewolf, Bernie decides to bring out his wolf pack and closest friends to a supernatural restaurant for a good time. More bad news filters in however, but how much stress and trauma must our heroine and her family endure?

Chapter 18: Dinner with the Coopers

The waitress tapped her stylus on tablet. "Anything to drink?" she asked innocently. The minotaur woman's question was a perfect distraction from the stress. Todd and Nate both shouted out, "I'll have a Mountain Dew!"

Sasha smiled weakly and looked towards Toby. "We'll have a Mountain Dew too" She said happily.

"Me too!" Zoe said

"Iced tea for us and chocolate milk for our dear pup" Yvonne said.

The little boy in the high chair slapped at the table shouting, "Eeepalls! Eeepalls!" His mother gently reached over to silence his rowdiness, which he snickered and grabbed a spoon. His mother quickly caught the spoon as the little boy were about to throw it at Nate. His eyes widened in shock as the spoon were swiftly taken away from him, but he gulped as she gave him a very intense leer.

"We shall have iced tea as well" Sasha's grandmother said.

The waitress put her tablet away. "Okay, I'll get your drinks, but might I suggest you order the bottomless pasta" She said sweetly before she walked away from the table.

Terry barged in through the doors and startled the waitress causing her to jump out of the way. She lost her balance and knocked over a large blue Venetian vase as she tried to catch herself from falling. She slid down the wall trying to save the vase as she watched the large wolfman storm over towards Bernie. "What the fuck is going on!? Why is SAD here!?" he shouted looking towards Toby.

Zoe glared at him intensely and growled lowly. "Are you going to just stand there and make a scene!? Or are you going to sit down and talk like an adult!? There's no use making a fuss over something that has been already dealt with! Nuff said!" she shouted at him.

Bernie looked towards the waitress who appeared dazed, which he gave Terry a very stern intimidating gaze. "You better apologize to that young lady over there!" he said lowly.

The waitress flinched as she picked herself up and placed the vase back upright. "No, no! It's fine! I know what's going on, just continue with your meeting" she said timidly while she back out the doors slowly.

Terry sighed and sat next the little pup shouting and slapping at the table, which Yvonne quickly placed her hand on the pup's hands to correct his rude behavior. Terry looked over at his little brother and cracked a smile at his rowdiness before he ran his fingers back through his hair. "I thought those gunshots were coming from your training, but then your friends came over, and I smelled the blood...I just can't believe that they attacked again" he mumbled.

Bernie frowned. "I don't want anyone to speak of this to the others! Understood!?" he raised his voice.

Terry looked at him skeptically. "Dad...everyone knows about it! This can't be hidden" he said lowly before he looked up at Toby. "How's your mom doing?" he asked.

Toby stared at him quietly lost in a haze; however, Sasha shook her head at him. "Let's not talk about that right now" she said firmly. She pulled out the menu and held it up in front of them to block them from view. "It's alright" she consoled him. Toby bit into the inside of his cheek nervously, which she nudged him. "Will ya quit that!" she scolded him.

He looked over at her blankly before he started to wiggle his leg. Bernie and Toby's phone both alerted a received text message, and they both pulled out their phones. "We'll be back home tomorrow!" Tai texted. He sent another text saying, "Can you help out with fixing up the place before we get back?"

"Yes, I'll get a couple wolves over for repairs" Bernie replied back. He looked up at Toby and went back to texting, "Toby will be staying at my den while we clean up. I think he's had enough for one day"

Toby looked up at him slightly annoyed, but he said nothing as Tai replied back, "It's probably for the best then"

Yvonne pulled out her menu and pointed at it arbitrarily. "Oh! Look dear! They have 8 different noodles, sauces, and meats with their all you can eat special!" she said before she turned the menu around to show everyone a diagram.

Bernie looked up and grinned. "Great, now that we've got that figured out, all you have to do is pick what combination you want first" he said before the waitress came back up to their table while carrying a large twenty-four inch diameter tray full of drinks, which Sasha and her family stared in amazement while the drinks were being passed out so eloquently and effortlessly.

"Why isn't there any beef on here?" Todd asked.

The waitress became horrified, and Zoe reached over to punch Todd in the shoulder. "What are you stupid? The people who work here are mostly minotaur!" she grumbled at him.

He whimpered and rubbed his shoulder. "What the heck is a minotaur?" he whined.

Yvonne looked towards the waitress awkwardly. "Please forgive him, he's not been a part of the werewolf community for long" she said which the waitress nodded showing sympathy towards the boy.

Todd looked away embarrassed; however, Yvonne looked towards Zoe harshly. "You know you don't need to be too rough on him! You need to learn to not bite someone's head off when they say something you don't like" she said before he looked towards Toby. "Most of you are so much stronger and I'd like for you keep that proportion in mind next time you feel like wanting to smash someone into the ground" she expressed her concern.

Bernie nodded. "Your mother is right, you kids are going to get as big as I am, and this ain't the old days where your claws and fangs to all the talking" he said before he looked up at Terry, which Terry looked back at his father offended.

Percy cleared his throat. "Excuse me, Mr. Cooper?" he interjected. Bernie eyes drifted over and focused on him intensely. Percy gulped timidly before he let out a slight squeak. "I was told that your, uh...community has a, um tech support division thing? I was just wondering if I could help out with that or anything?" he asked.

Bernie stared at him blankly before Zoe grinned at her father's reaction. "The Cybercryptopunks, dad?" she chimed in.

He snapped out of his confusion and laughed. "Oh, that tech support...yea, you could be a big help with them for sure" he said proudly. "I'll be sure to fill them in on your technical prowess stuff" he said before they started placing their orders.

Percy took in a deep breath. "So about SAD and SAM...they are having a dispute with each other about Sasha's vlogs. SAD thinks they can still hide us, and SAM basically said that it's asinine to be censoring the good publicity out. You know about what she's been doing right?" he asked.

Bernie nodded quickly. "I'm fully aware at what she's doing, and it's making me nervous. I can see what she's trying to do, and I think that this is the direction we need to go. It's no use in hiding anymore" he said with approval.

Sasha smiled happily. "Toby's dad says that also" she added.

Terry looked over at them curiously. "Are you taking away all the restrictions then?" he asked.

Bernie gulped and nodded. "I want to, but I'm going to need to get the approval from the elders. I don't think that it should be sudden, but I'm coming up with a plan" he said.

Terry smirked. "Alright, I like where this is going" he commented.

While they ordered, Zoe rested her elbow onto Percy's shoulder playfully. "You make a good arm rest short stuff" she teased causing him to blush brightly. When he looked up at her, she looked back with a flirtatious gaze.

Toby stared at them oddly before Sasha nudged him. "Hey! She waiting on you!" she reminded him. He snapped out of it and looked up at the waitress confused as everyone began to stare at him, but he finally started to place his order.

The waitress collected the menus from everyone after everyone had finished their orders, but as she reached for them she made sure to give Terry a swift bump in the arm with her hefty posterior, while he were taking a drink of water. She looked over at him slyly and gasped mockingly seeing the patch of water that marked his shirt. "Oh, I'm sorry, clumsy me" she said sarcastically.

Bernie and Yvonne both watched with glee at the waitress gained her revenge. Terry stared at the waitress and smirked at her as she hip checked him when she spun around on one foot before she walked off adding a sassy sway into her hips. She looked back from the door staring straight at Terry intensely.

Bernie snickered at him. "Uh, oh! Looks like you pissed her off!" he teased, which Terry looked back at him and smirked.

Sasha looked back up towards Toby curiously and leaned over to whisper into his ear. "So, is it weird for a werewolf to date a minotaur?" she asked.

Toby shrugged his shoulders, and he leaned in to whisper back. "I've heard that some have paired up with mermaids, and it turned out fine" he said.

She stared at him then a smile crept upon her lips. "Oh, well, at least y'all are open to mixed marriages" she said thoughtfully. She giggled after thinking a moment about her situation with Toby. "Yea, I guess that's kind of how we got together ain't it, hun?" she asked.

Yvonne's eyes wondered over towards them and focused onto Sasha. "So, how has your transition been going?" she asked.

Sasha beamed with excitement. "It's been going well...I've been documenting everything I've been experiencing and..." she said before she flinched to a twinge of pain in her shoulder. She reached up and pinched at her shoulder cringing. "Though, I've been having these stabbing pains happening more often...it's been really bugging me" she complained.

Toby reached over cleverly and began to rub the spot where her skin was bubbling underneath. Yvonne looked over at Bernie and feigned a scowl. "Well, I would like it if I didn't have to ask someone to rub my back when I'm hurting" she said.

Bernie looked up at her and raised an eyebrow. "Why is your back hurting?" he asked.

Yvonne let out a heavy sigh. "No, I was just saying that it would be nice" she said before Bernie stared at her blankly, and she gulped. "Seriously, I'm okay" she muttered.

Sasha smiled mischievously and her grandparents snickered amongst themselves. Soon the waitress popped out of the service elevator with a large cart filled with plates. Terry looked over at her hearing the cart clank and rattle across the gap, and he smirked. "So, are you doing anything tomorrow, Jackie?" he asked.

She looked at him annoyed as she pushed the cart over, and she leaned onto the chart once she parked it near him. "I may or may not be doing something tomorrow" she said as she looked into his eyes intensely. "It's all on you, big guy" she said lowly.

Terry shrugged. "Well, how about hang out in Bridgeport?" he asked.

Jackie smiled and looked towards his parents briefly. "We'll talk later..." she muttered as she grabbed the plates and set them in front of the corresponding people. "I'll be back" she said before she bumped into Terry again.

Toby had a toothy grinned as he dug into his meal, and Sasha giggled watching the mountain of food collapse into nothing. It was a wonder that nobody lost their finger or ear from Toby's enthusiasm, but as she scanned the remainder of the table, Zoe and Bernie looked to be competing with Toby.

Sasha looked back down and she a fraction of the food than she had when it were first placed down. She stared into her plate very confused, but in her mouth were her own fork, which she set it down and went back to looking towards him. He finished his first helping when he noticed her staring at him. He frowned and sat his fork down. "What's wrong Sasha?" he asked with concern.

She smiled awkwardly. "Nothing...I'm just not used to being a werewolf" she said as she pointed towards her plate. He looked at her plate and cocked his head cutely before she blushed. "I'm not eating that fast am I?" she asked. He looked at her funny as he tapped his plate with his fork smirking.

He laughed lowly. "Are you asking me if you're eating too fast?" he asked.

She smiled back and snickered. "Good point" she said.

He took a sip from his soda and nodded. "You're eating faster than usual, but don't you worry about that" He said smirking. He looked at his empty plate and chuckled. "You're alright" he said before he looked towards little Steele with a face covered in marinara sauce. "Looks like he's enjoying himself" he joked.

She looked at the baby and smiled weakly. "Yea, at least I won't have to worry about our kid terrorizing the darn restaurant" she said lowly. She looked back at Toby and frowned as he stared at her nervously. "What?" she muttered as she soon realized she spooked him. She elbowed him in the side and smirked. "Really? You think I mean now?" she asked.

Bernie grinned evilly as he chimed in. "Would you like for me to clue you in on how much chaos Toby caused as a pup? If you think he's a handful now, then little Toby was the apocalypse" he said before he pointed over to Zoe. "It's amazing that those two were mellowed out some before they met up" he muttered.

Yvonne leaned in smirking but she said nothing watching Sasha's reaction intently. Sasha gulped as she forced a smile. "Ah, how bad could he be?" she asked before Yvonne snickered lowly.

"How bad could he be? How bad could he be?!" He shouted melodramatically. He gave the biggest crooked grin you could ever see as he reached for his pint of beer. "Let me tell you that the area he used to live in weren't big enough to contain him. Ambushing hikers, raiding campsites while the campers were asleep...he managed to make off with a boat once" he said before he took a swig.

He looked over at his son in the high chair and laughed. "He can barely walk yet! They are pretty manageable when they can only crawl!" he informed her.

Yvonne looked towards her husband amused before she let off a big sigh. "The first ones always the hardest to raise...I remember freaking out over every little thing with my baby...I felt kind of bad for Lilian...she just had no idea" she said before she looked up at Toby. "Good thing that we all got him to turn out the way she did" she said lightly.

Bernie nodded with a grin as he sat his pint of beer down with great thud. "That's right, he's changed a lot since the year began...for the better if you ask me" he said proudly.

Sasha nodded. "I've noticed it too" she said before she looked over at Toby, whose mouth watered, and his claws and fangs were as prominent as ever, and she laughed lightly. "You sure did bring an appetite didn't you?" he asked.

He looked over at her impatiently and bit his lip. "I'm really hungry" he said lowly.

Soon after the second course came in, Toby and Zoe started tearing away at the meatball with such a primal flare that Sasha's grandparents sat and gawped having already ate their fill. Bernie laughed at their reaction, and he leaned over his plate looking down the long table. "You two have been taking everything well" he mentioned.

Marty cleared his throat. "Not to be rude, but I've lost all touch with reality a long time ago. I thought it were just me until I met you all" he said before he chuckled. "On the bright side I've not been drinking as much. Yea, I didn't need to push back what I saw no longer now that I know this sort of thing is normal" he said.

His wife looked towards him curiously. "Hold on, pushing back what you saw? You been drinking well before you even met them. You told me you started drinking because your crew drowned when your vessel capsized" she interjected.

He sighed. "Yea, well...I've dealt with the supernatural before. Everyone thought I was mad, so I just no longer talked about it" he said.

Sasha and Todd both stared at him shocked. "What kind of supernatural? Ghosts?" she asked.

He shook his head before he rubbed the scar over his neck. "Well, no, but it weren't with werewolves either. Instead my crew came across sharkpeople" he said before stared into the glass of water. "We were a hundred nautical miles offshore fishing for cod. I spotted a fin poking up from the surface. You know...a shark fin. Anyway, my greenhorn shot at it and it turns out that it were a little sharkchild. Her parents were very pissed off to say the least because later that day her father blew a hole on the starboard side of the stern. While I was making a distress call, the father came onto our ship. He was about the size Toby was in werewolf form only with a mouth full of teeth and a tail as long as his body" he said lowly.

Todd's eyes grew wide. "What happened?" he asked.

"Well, naturally one of my crew grabbed a harpoon and tried to attack him...that only pissed him off even more. Hacked the poor soul in half with his arm fin, then hacked down the rest of them with his tail" he said before he shivered at the thought. "Threw them overboard for the fishes...luckily for me the sharkman were too big to fit inside the ship...unlucky for me the ship were sinking, and he was waiting for me to come out" he muttered.

Sandra stared at him horrified. "Did the child survive?" she asked. She frowned already seeming to know the answer to her own question.

Marty shook his head. "I don't know...I don't know" he murmured.

"So then what happened?" Sasha asked.

Marty frowned. "Well, I was going to have to get out of my boat anyway, so when I came out, the sharkman only stared me down. I guess that he were very exhausted being out of the water for as long as he did...maybe dehydrated. By that point my ship were listing to the side so badly the sharkman slid off the boat into the water. I had enough time to climb up onto the side, and he climbed up the other side and he slashed the side of my neck, but by that time the coast guard showed. They saw the sharkman before he swam off, but they did not ask me anything else when they pulled me up out from the waters" he said.

Bernie raised an eyebrow. "So, were you affected from that cut at all?" he asked.

Marty shrugged. "More psychologically than anything, but I know what you're getting at. Wouldn't you be able to smell if I were a creature of the night?" he asked.

Bernie laughed. "Well, yea...but not if you were to have some slight manifestation" he explained before he pointed at himself. "Our bestowment works a little differently than merpeople. I'm not quite sure how it works myself" he said lowly.

Marty nodded slowly before he looked back into his glass of water. "So is this whole werewolf against werewolf thing only with you or is it going on among other supernatural beings?" he asked.

Bernie took another chug from his pint glass before he looked down at his mug. "So, you know about that much huh?" he muttered. His eyes focused onto him intensely as he carefully set his mug back down. "It's among other supernatural beings as well. Politics aside, we all want to live a better life, but we don't know how to deal with humans more importantly how to deal with hunters. Everyone knows that hunters see us as not man, but many supernatural folk often mistake this fact and generalize it with all humans. It's a dangerous thought as these same supernatural folk close themselves off and not want to have an honest discussion about it" he rambled on.

Marty nodded. "I thought as much..." he muttered before he looked towards Toby. "So just how bad did Nathan screw up this time?" he mumbled.

Bernie growled lowly. "I'd rather we not bring that up. Yes, he's poked the beehive a couple of times, but let's just stop before we knock it down" he said before he shot Terry a very stern look to prevent another rant.

Nate frowned. "I don't like having my name being the same as his..." he spoke out.

Todd's head sank low. "What about having him as your dad?" he asked.

Sasha scowled at him. "Hey, he's my dad too!" she shouted out abruptly.

"Enough!" Bernie raised his voice. Todd and Nate's eyes became as wide as their dinner plates and they both cowered in fear as Bernie glared at them. "I just told you all not to bring it up!" he scolded them. They both nodded and went back to eating, but they ate much slower than they were before.

Sasha instinctively clutched onto Toby's shoulder and whimpered softly. "Um, sorry about that" she said nervously.

Bernie took another gulp before he looked over at his mate who looked back at him wearily. "I think this will be your last pint for the day" she said passive-aggressively.

He finished the last of his lager and set the mug aside, but Yvonne looked over at Toby concerned. "I'm glad everyone came out alright...Toby, you were awesome" she said sweetly

Sasha smiled looking up at Toby who we quiet for a while. "You feelin' better?" she asked as she rubbed his bicep vigorously.

Toby nodded. "Yea, I'm still hungry though...just not as bad" he said.

She giggled softly as she gazed at him adoringly. "Y'all are going to eat out the whole darn restaurant if y'all keep this up" she said.

Toby laughed. "Yea well, it wouldn't be the first time we've done that...and it wouldn't have been the last" he said.

Bernie and Zoe both grinned and Terry rolled his eyes, but Sasha looked at him shocked. "Wait! You've done this before!?" she asked.

Toby nodded. "Yea...but love my buffets though. No waiting, all you can eat. Or all that the buffet provides whichever comes first" he said.

Terry let out a heavy sigh. "Toby and most of my family are barred from eating in most of the buffet restaurants. It's a shame because we all paid well" he said.

"So I take it you don't go out much?" she asked.

Terry raised an eyebrow. "Well, I go out plenty. I have enough self-control around food to not cause a scene" he said.

Zoe smirked. "That's a bunch of bull! You draw plenty of attention whenever you're in public!" she scoffed.

Terry scowled at her. "I'm seven foot two...I don't have to be eating to get that attention. I mean eating slow is a pain in the ass, but you don't see me attracting the crazies!" he said.

Zoe glared at him and gritted her teeth. "You still binge like the rest of us!" she shouted.

Yvonne sniggered. "You all do, but Terry is a lot slower at it" she said trying to defuse the bickering.

Sasha giggled. "Yea, I don't think that you get to taste and enjoy the food by eating quickly" she added.

Toby looked confused. "You're telling me that stuffing your face isn't enjoyable?" he asked.

Sasha raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Not even going to answer that, goofball" she said pushing at the back of his head playfully. She began to eat her second helping slowly. "So do you have a job too, Zoe?" she asked.

Zoe stared at her blankly before her head sank in embarrassment. "I work at Petco" she muttered lowly.

Toby grinned. "What's that? I didn't hear you" he teased before Sasha thwacked him in the arm

"I said I work at Petco!" she raised her voice.

"You know, she's really good at her job Sasha. Maybe she can help you out with getting things you might need" Yvonne added.

Sasha's face went bright red. "Wait, what do you mean?" she muttered.

"Well, since you are now a wolf, wouldn't you need items to take care of wolf things?" Yvonne asked.

Todd snickered. "Like dog toys?" he joked before he got popped over the head by Toby. "Ow!" he whined.

Toby growled at him. "Shush you! Don't make fun of my Wiggly Gigglies!" he shouted.

Sasha stared at Toby before she giggled. "Okay...that's a little too much information there Toby. I don't want to know about your Wiggly Gigglies!" she said before the whole table roared with laughter.

Zoe sighed happily. "You know, I don't know if you're needing dog toys, but I can help you out with what shampoos and brushes you need" she said.

Sasha smiled. "Oh that would be spectacular! Oh! And, can you help me pick out a collar and leash too?" she asked.

Toby flinched and looked towards Sasha oddly, which the adults began to snicker. Todd and Nate were just as confused as Sasha was until it finally registered to her. "For Makita! Not Toby!" she shrieked blushing brightly.

Zoe stared at her awkwardly before she cleared her throat. "It's okay...we all have our kinks, nuff said!" she said.

"It's not like that!!" Toby shouted out.

"What's going on?" Todd asked.

"Mom, do grown-ups walk each other like dogs or something?" Nate asked.

Yvonne looked at him and shook her head. "Just eat your dinner" she said firmly.

"So what's it like working at the Zoo Toby? Is it nice working there?" Aoife asked.

Toby nodded slowly as Jackie came back to take their plates before she passed a piece of paper to Terry discretely before he bumped him again playfully. Terry quickly looked towards his father who grinned widely although he did not say anything. Terry gulped trying to be inconspicuous when he swapped contacts with Jackie.

Jackie pulled out her tablet along with her phone sneakily making it appear that she were starting up her tablet while she were registering Terry's number instead. Zoe looked up at Jackie and nudged Percy. "You see that, Percy? Isn't it beautiful how we don't stay to our own kind?" she asked.

Percy gulped. "What are you doing?" he asked nervously.

Zoe gave him a mischievous grin as Terry pretended to ignore them. "I'm giving him a hard time" she whispered. She slung her arm around him and snickered to herself. "I knew there was something between them before they knew...I always know" she said before she pointed towards Sasha.

Percy gulped. "Um, okay?" he muttered timidly.

Sasha looked up to Toby hoping to break the awkward silence. "Um, what kind of food do you not like?" she asked knowing he liked all kinds of food.

Toby looked at her curiously before he swallowed the chunk of bread he bit into. "Um...bell peppers, squash, eggplant, avocado, asparagus, blue cheese, durian..." he said before Sasha interrupted.

"Oh my god, you tried durian before? That must have sucked" she said.

Nate looked at them curiously. "What's Durian?" he asked.

"Only like the worst smelling fruit ever! It literally smells like trash" she said.

Toby nodded slowly. "I think I'd prefer the smell of trash over that" he said.

Sasha had a flash of inspiration, and she looked over at Bernie whose interest was indeed perked. "If you'd like, I can go find one for you to try out. Maybe it could work as a werewolf repellent" she suggested.

Bernie smirked at her. "I'm open for that idea" he said.

"Great!" She finished.

Toby cleared his throat. "So, what kind of foods do you not like?" he asked.

"I'm kind of weird with food. I don't like popcorn, peanut butter, bananas, chocolate though there are exceptions to this rule, pizza, spinach, Ham, Roast Beef, Sweet Potatoes, Lima beans, Pinto beans, Kidney beans, the only beans I'll eat are green beans...though I'm starting to like ham and roast beef no thanks to a certain someone" She said before she nudged him in the side playfully.

Toby laughed. "Well, what _do_you like?" He asked.

Sasha smiled. "I like carrots, cheeseburgers, spaghetti, meatloaf, hot dogs, green beans, peas, salads, eggs, sometimes biscuits...cheese, bacon, BBQ Ribs, chicken especially fried chicken, uh...strawberries, and macaroni...uh, lasagna, turkey, ramen, sugar cookies only sugar cookies, subs, grilled cheese, peas, cauliflower not cooked, mashed potatoes, sloppy joes...I don't care for Italian or Mexican but I like Taco bell, and this place has incredible food" She said. Steele knocked over his cup, and it fell to the floor startling her. "...NYU!!" She squeaked while twitching violently.

Toby looked up at her oddly. "What was that? Is there a kitten in here?" He muttered.

"Nyu nyu nyunyunyu nyu!!" Sasha uttered while making these weird facial twitches. It was the most bizarre thing you would ever see, which it attracted the attention of everyone in the restaurant.

Toby looked at her very confused. "Did you swallow a live animal or something?" He asked looking a little scared.

Sasha giggled slightly. "No, it's my hiccups. It happens whenever I drink mountain dew or caffeine" She said casually.

"She's been like that since she was little. Doctor says she's fine. It's just a mild form of Tourette's" Her grandmother chimed in.

Toby laughed. "They kind of sound cute...I like 'em" He said. He smirked getting an idea. "Nyu nyu!" Toby imitated her hiccups perfectly.

"Uma numa uma!!" Sasha uttered twitching while holding it all in. She moaned. "That was weird. I've never had someone being able to make me do that before" she said.

Toby's grin only grew wider. "That's fun..." He said.

Sasha looked at him tenderly. "At least you don't feel sorry for me, it gets annoying when people feel sorry for me" She said. She giggled happily. "You mean you never noticed my hiccups?" she asked.

"To be fair, you've never done that around us..." Zoe said.

"I thought that maybe she outgrew them, but now I believe that it may have something to do with being less stressed out being associated with beings as powerful as you lot" her grandmother said.

Sasha nodded slowly. "Yea, though the first time Toby got hurt, I had it bad. It got better when I saw his healing factor and his mom's fantastic medical skills" she said before she grabbed onto her arm in pain. "I'm not sure that I'm stressed out from all the craziness that happened today. It doesn't normally hurt when my body spasms...I'm pretty sure it's from being bitten" she said.

"It just might be" her grandmother concurred.

Bernie puffed his chest out and looked over at Sasha firmly. "The full moon is coming up shortly. I would best prepare for any occurrences. Sasha, I would stick around with one of us in the meantime. You are in a very vulnerable position, and I'm not trying to be condescending, but you saw just how it affected your brother" he mentioned.

Sasha nodded. "Yea, I'm going to stay with Toby like I have been doing. Like I said before, he's been making this a lot less miserable for me" she said.

Toby blushed and rubbed the back of his head as her grandparents looked at him. Bernie let out a deep heavy sigh, and he reached for a glass of water. "That's fine...just do things safely, alright?" he said before he took a sip.

Todd grinned. "Don't worry Toby...I'll protect her" he said cheerfully.

"From me?" Toby muttered before Sasha elbowed him hard into the rib. "Oh...oh...thanks Todd, but I wouldn't want you to put yourself in danger" he finished quickly.

Bernie nodded. "I'm afraid that Toby's right young pup! Just because you've gotten werewolf powers don't make you a superhero all of the sudden. We wolves have spent many years training and conditioning our bodies to be in combat ready. You've only been a werewolf for hardly three months yet. I wouldn't even let Nate fight, and he was born a werewolf" he lectured him.

Todd was discouraged, and he pounded his fist into the table. His grandfather watched on helplessly. "They are right you know. How are you going to fight off beasts when you can hardly fight the beast within?" he asked before he reached over to touch his grandson's shoulder. "Your father has been making you fear it, but I want you to embrace it and make something out of it. I want you to be reasonable and don't bite off anything more than you can't chew" he said before he chuckled. "You don't have anything as big a mouth as Toby has" he said.

Toby looked at him annoyed before he sighed heavily. "I take mild offense to that" he said while everyone else snickered.

Toby snickered as a thought crept up inside his head. "Speaking of what I was like when I was a pup. Here's another thing...when my teeth grew in my parents kept me locked up in my room on full moons for a couple times" He said with a grin.

Sasha gasped. "Why would they do that?" She asked in shock.

Toby laughed nervously. "There was a string of missing cats during the Full moon. Mom and dad fixed that problem real quick. Apparently they had another "monster" in the family" He said using his fingers quoting the monster part.

Sasha smiled affectionately and ruffled his hair. "Well, you are the gentlest monster I know" She said before she looked at him sternly. "You don't have that same problem now, do you?" She asked curiously.

Toby looked guilty and averted her gaze. "Uh...When you say problem...Do you mean the locking me in my room or having midnight snacks?" He asked nervously.

Sasha looked at him oddly. "Well both..." She said looking at him worried.

Toby scratched at the side of his face smiling awkwardly. "I do wake up with hair in my mouth...only if I didn't eat a good meal" He joked.

She rolled her eyes at him. "I'll make sure you get a big dinner on those special nights, okay dear?" She flirted. She started blushing and looked away feeling embarrassed.

He also blushed, but he nodded slowly. "Mom has been making sure I eat well" He said.

She giggled as patted his stomach playfully. "I can see that" she teased before finishing up her plate. She pushed her plate away after finishing, and she looked up at him happily before she leaned up against him sighing with content. "Man, I never felt this good after eating before...tired but good" she muttered.

He wrapped his arm around her and she nodded off into a food coma. Jackie looked up at them and smiled. "Uh oh, is she out already? She hasn't even had the third course yet" she joked.

Toby grinned. "Just give me hers when you get mine" he said.

Jackie nodded as Sasha clutched onto his chest pressing her cheek into his face mumbling his name softly. "Well it's definitely a thing to take pride and brag about when you put a werewolf to sleep with your cooking prowess" she said before she looked towards Terry. "Did you like it?" she asked. Terry stared at her before he nodded quickly. "Good! Because it's a recipe passed down through the generations" she said proudly.

"You're so warm..." Sasha said happily in her sleep.

Toby looked over at her and gulped as she had already formed a death grip on him, and he could barely move to his plate. "Uh-oh...this is going to be difficult" he muttered.

Zoe snickered. "She's too far gone to be woken up. You're plenty big. It shouldn't be a problem to eat while being her pillow" she teased.

Sasha murred faintly. "Big bad" she muttered

Toby looked at her oddly. "O-kay?" Toby muttered oddly.

Zoe laughed before she looked over at Percy and tried to cuddle up to him, which his eyes grew very wide, much to her amusement. "I'm only joking..." she said before she pulled him in to forcibly make him cuddle up to her. He did not fight it, and he smiled awkwardly as her parents looked towards them not paying much mind to the unconventionalism and size difference of the relationship, but Bernie did give Percy a slightly intimidating gaze hoping to show that he wanted for him to not break his daughter's heart.

Percy gulped knowing full well what he was getting himself into, but he did not fear this at all. Terry smirked at her and snickered. "Why don't you give him some air, you're going to pop his head off with those arms of yours" he teased.

Zoe rolled her eyes at him. "I've got plenty of cushion in my tits, Mr. Jelly rolls!" she muttered.

"Why must you two always bicker!" Yvonne scolded them.

Jackie started placing the third course in front of them trying her best not to laugh. "They fight like I do with my brother" she said happily.

Toby sighed. "If this is what it's like to have siblings, then I'm glad I was an only child growing up" he muttered.

Bernie shook his head. "You technically are an only child to your mother...and you're not an only child to her anymore" he corrected before Yvonne kicked him underneath the table. Bernie snickered before his phone started to sound off, and he quickly got out from his chair and left the building. "Is everything else dealt with?" he asked.

"It's just about wrapped up here. We've processed the bodies and their next of kin have been notified. Only thing is left is for us to make contacts with the media, but there were some cellphone photos and video got put up onto 4chan" Don told him.

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" Bernie's voice boomed. He looked up at the top window where Zoe and Terry both watched on, which he turned around and shielded the phone with his hands.

"Just hear me out...this has a more positive spin to it than you'd think" Don said before he paused for a moment. "The video doesn't show the deaths...just the invasion and gunshots. The message boards have lit up and there are a lot of Memes going about. Nothing I can do at this point, it's gone viral" he said.

Bernie sighed. "Is it on YouTube?" he asked.

"Probably, but I shouldn't be too worried about the teen wolves. Neither of their names has been mentioned" Don said lowly.

Don sent Bernie a few links through text, which Bernie reluctantly opened them. The link sent him to an imageboard with a gif of Toby in werewolf from with the caption, "Just found out my neighbor is a werewolf today. So how was your Monday? Side note, don't break into his house! Shooting at him only makes him angrier" posted by Anonymous 78997602. These were the following replies to the starting thread:

"Looks like he needs a snickers" posted by Anonymous 78997653.

"So there's the bastard who ate my cat!" posted by Anonymous 78997770.

"Hot werewolf!" posted by Anonymous 78997900.

"Awesome find! I am a former member of the SCP foundation, and I have very important information about SCP-6666-Fenrisulfr. The government is trying to cover up these werewolf sightings. Clearly these are Keter class werewolves, and each subsequent incident reports are getting more disturbing after the next. The fact of the matter is that these gunshots are from highly trained hunters, and this werewolf not only can transform at will, but he has complete sapience to take the body armor off one of his kills and wear it upon himself. What's more disturbing is that the Pacific Northwest is hot with these kinds of werewolves with this adaptability. If they have packs and I believe they do, we should push for a Thaumiel class altogether. It is why I was just terminated moments ago. O5 is in on it!" posted by Anonymous 79000021.

"Holy smokes are you high? That's just a man with hypertrichosis! Leave the poor man alone!" posted by Anonymous 79000079 responding to the prior comment.

Bernie closed out of the imageboard before he got too absorbed in the comments. "So what's this SCP stuff?" he asked.

"Oh, that's just some Creepypasta stuff. A lot of our work is structured similarly to this organization" Don said before he chuckled to himself. "That one guy isn't too far off though...I might give his IP address to the board" he muttered.

Bernie's eye twitched. "Are you meaning to tell me these horrendous acts are being made light of as some internet campfire story!?" he raised his voice.

Don sighed. "No and Yes...remember that the internet is chaotic, and this will spread so many variations that it will make it harder for the public to follow along. I have my reports, and your clan is in the clear" he said.

Bernie looked back at the restaurant. "So what of Sasha's parents? Have you detained them?" he asked.

"I've detained the father to get his statements and information. We've taken the mother to one of your clinics to get her wounds treated. Sounds like what did him in was seeing his family getting harmed. He realizes now how close he was from losing everything. He's a shell of a man, he is..." he said before there was a long pause. "Damn, I have to call you back!" he shouted.

"What!?" Bernie asked.

"Nathan just hung himself..." Don muttered before he hung up.

Bernie looked at the phone in disbelief. "What the fuck!?" he muttered before he went back inside. Zoe and Terry both ran back to their spots as Bernie entered with a grim and angry expression. His wife looked up at him, and she walked over to him. He looked over at the others trying to listen in on their conversation, which Bernie simply wrote what he had to say on his phone for her to read to herself.

Yvonne looked at him shocked before she followed him outside, and Toby growled harshly at Todd and Nate who were trying to sneak off. They sat back down, and Zoe looked at them annoyed. "What the hell are you doing!? You know its bad news. It's none of your concern!" he scolded them.

Sasha woke up from his growl and groaned. "What's bad news?" she mumbled.

Toby sighed heavily. "I don't know...just go back to sleep, hun" he said as he rubbed her back tenderly.

"Mmkay...I love you so much" she said while she found her spot again and fell quickly back to sleep.

Zoe's parent came back into the room, and Bernie came over to Sasha's Grandparents. He shown them his phone, which Marty clenched his fist. "What! That no good coward! Like that's going to solve everything!" he shouted.

Sandra frowned. "How's my daughter doing?" she asked.

Bernie let off a heavy sigh. "Your daughter will be okay. I don't want you to think the worst just yet" he said. They both nodded before Sasha looked at them concerned before Bernie stood up. "It's best we get going..." he said firmly. He looked over at Toby and sighed. "I want you to take it easy...you hear?" he asked.

Toby nodded slowly before he went back to eat, but Sasha woke up again. She watched him carefully while she rubbed his back. "I'm fine. I feel a lot better now" he said, which he looked down at her who was staring at him skeptically. "What? I am" he muttered.

She grumbled and scowled at him before she looked towards her grandparents. "Is there enough room for him to ride in your rental?" she asked.

Her grandmother looked at him carefully and laughed. "It'll be a tight fit, but I think we can squeeze him in the back" she said cheerfully.

He gulped. "Really, I'm fine" he said awkwardly.

Her grandfather shook his head and sighed wearily. "Just don't argue...Can't we just have a relaxing evening?" he scolded him.

"It's only a short drive, you'll live" Her grandmother added.

Toby went silent as he sank into his seat slowly. "Alright..." he mumbled in defeat.

"I know what's best, big bad" Sasha said while pressing her finger into his chest firmly. She soon pressed her hands on her lap sighing heavily. "You might feel fine Toby, but you've been sitting down for a while now" she reminded him. Toby nodded slowly before she glanced back over at him amorously. "I don't think you want another IV put in you...right?" she asked.

He shook his head, which her grandparents both got up. Her grandmother looked between Sasha and Toby happily, while her grandfather reached into his pocket for his wallet, which Bernie cleared his throat. "All this is paid for...you aren't required to pay anything" he said firmly.

Her grandfather looked at him confused before he closed his wallet and shoved it into his pocket. "Alright then...well, I'm ready to go if you are" he said looking over at Toby and Sasha.

Bernie looked between Sasha and Todd as they left, which he felt concerned for their state of mind once they find out what happened to their father. When everyone got back to Bernie's house, Bernie closed the door behind him blocking the way, while Zoe, Terry, and Yvonne blocked off all escape routes. Sasha stared at them noticing what they were doing, which she sat on the couch next to Toby. "What's wrong?" she asked.

Bernie gritted his teeth trying to force out the words, but he let out a growl instead. Yvonne rubbed the side of her neck as she herself could not bear herself to break the news to them. "Your father...he hung himself after he was interviewed..." Bernie finally said before Sasha gasped.

She could hardly breathe and Todd stared at him horrified and in disbelief. Toby touched Sasha's back as she clutched onto her heart beginning to tear up. "But why? Why would he do that!?" she shouted.

Bernie looked away and frowned. "I don't know! He's not been himself...probably for a great while now" he said before his phone went off. He growled to himself and pulled his phone out. "What is it?" he asked impatiently.

"He's not dead..." Don said before he trailed off.

Bernie waited five seconds before he growled. "What? Is he paralyzed?" he shouted. Don did not speak for another five seconds until he sighed heavily.

"His body isn't dead, but he is catatonic right now" Don said lowly.

"What does that mean? Is he brain dead or what?" Bernie shouted.

"Look, I don't know...I'm not a doctor. I don't know if he's brain dead, paralyzed, or having a psychotic breakdown! All I know is that he has a heartbeat" Don muttered.

Bernie gritted his teeth. "You best be getting a doctor, or so help me!" he shouted before Zoe interrupted.

"Dad! Calm down...please" she shouted before she looked towards Todd who were struggling to keep himself in control of his body and mind. "You're not helping them!' she spoke softly. Sasha clutched onto Toby so tightly her nails dug into his skin nearly breaking into it. She hid her face into his muscular chest sniveling somberly, while Toby held onto her doing the best he could in consoling her as her grandparents looked on helplessly.

Bernie sighed heavily. "I'm sorry..." he muttered.

Zoe came over to Todd's side and touched his back softly. "Just transform bud! Holding it in is just going to make it hurt more...nuff said" she said firmly.

Todd whimpered and clutched onto his chest. "I can't...I don't want to lose control! I want to kill...I want to kill so bad!" he shouted out loud.
