Writer's block was killing me for so long.

There was once a male Dalmatian by the name of Dane, and he wrote erotic romances for heterosexual and bisexual men. Strangely enough, they were most successful with heterosexual and bisexual women. One day, to celebrate the success of his latest book, he went to a fancy Chinese restaurant. That is where he got sick with food poisoning.

There, he met a Golden Retriever by the name of Jarra in the emergency room. Once he regained consciousness after almost dying, he and Jarra talked about his health. Then they talked about movies, and found out they liked the same movies. They talked about politics, and found that they had the same ideology.

They quickly fell in love, and that was when Dane started deliberately getting injured to spend time with Jarra in the ER. He would intentionally get seriously injured, use the time he had before falling unconscious to ask to be treated by Jarra, and he would be treated by Jarra. Eventually, he finally got her contact info.

He went over to Jarra's house, where her brother, Jarrus, made him dinner. He got severe food poisoning, and was losing consciousness, in sheer agony. Then, however, he told Jarra how he felt. "Jarra, I just want you to know that this whole time, I just wanted to spend the rest of my life with you. I even risked dying multiple times so that I could spend more time with you, but I should have just told you how I felt." He saw the look in her eyes that he was looking for, and they kissed and embraced. "And even if I die right here, even with how much it hurts, it'll be more than worth it for just these few moments of having something with you."

He survived the food poisoning, but just barely. He took a week to wake up, and he was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, but with Jarra by his side, he didn't care. As long as he had her, he was happy as could be.
