"Almost done!" Esmeralda Jenkins excitedly said to herself as she wiped the damp fur off her lapine brow. Her magics instructor had given her access to a new spell tome and the creme fur colored lop couldn't wait to dive into it. Shortly after returning home with her new tome she immediately sequestered herself in one of the many unused rooms of the mansions west wing and flipped through a few pages. Eventually one spell caught her eye and she just had to try it.

For the next month Esmeralda dove herself into the spell in an effort to learn everything she could about it, repeatedly testing, tweaking, and prodding at every aspect until she was confident in her knowledge of it. Now after all this time she was finally almost done. With her chalk she drew one final line in the magic circle drawn on the linoleum floor and was rewarded with the entire rune circle shimmering with a silver glow. A signal to the lop bunny girl that it was primed and ready for use.

"And done!" Esmeralda declared before padding out of the room and down the hall towards her brothers office. She knew she would often find him there around this time of day, dealing with stuff in regards to the company he owned and ran. She arrived at the door and stopped to listen for a moment. She couldn't hear any of the usual sounds of his grumbling and fuming over whatever paperwork he was usually forced to acknowledge, a good sign that he was probably in a good mood.

With renewed confidence the cream colored lop approached the door and just as she was about to knock, the family butler cleared his throat to get her attention. The lop soon turned to address the older gentleman squirrel that she knew by the name of Alex Brooks.

"Madam Zeek." Alex said in his usual dignified tone. He knew the lop's real name but everyone often referred to her by that short little nickname. "If you're looking for your brother then you'd be happy to know that he actually finished his work for the day early and has sequestered himself in one of his labs in the west wing."

Zeek smiled and thanked the family butler before heading back in the direction she had come from. "Should have checked the other labs first." she said to herself aloud as she padded down the main corridor of the mansion wing that Asalis had dubbed as the Laboratory Wing. A sign hanging over the entryway with a chain-link fence blocking entrance, accessible only by a keypad and fingerprint reader that all family members and mansion staff were given full access to.

Zeek's older brother Asalis had remodeled this wing shortly after he had bought the house. He wanted a place where he could work on his personal projects and inventions that would often later hit the production field. The walls were all covered in white painted non-flammable stucco that hid reinforced wire steel mesh and reinforced steel support beams underneath. She knew that her brother had taken every precaution into consideration when it came to the safety of this wing.

As Esmerelda rounded a corner towards her own claimed lab she noticed that the one across from hers had a lit red light above the door much like the one above the door she had occupied. She sighed and mentally chastised herself about having not noticed it earlier and donned the appropriate safety gear that was conveniently hung next to every lab door before entering. Once that was done she knocked on the door and waited. When she received no answer after a few seconds she figured he must have been deep in some experiment and decided to let herself in.

Upon entering she was witness to what appeared to be a smaller hallway that seemed more appropriate in an office building or research lab. The hallway was short, with six doors on either side before ending at a dead end. All the doors were open yet only the one all the way down on the right at the other end of the hall had it's light on. As she walked down the hall the smell of chemicals wafted out from some of open lab doors. When she arrived at the lit door way she peered inside to find her brother pouring over a computer console, no doubt working on the design of some new contraption he was building. It didn't take long before he noticed her presence in the doorway.

"Oh, Hello Zeek." he turned in the wheeled office chair to greet her. "Nice to see you out and about from your works." he teased before pushing himself out of the worn out piece of furniture.

Zeek blushed lightly from the tease before meeting her brothers eyes. "Well I figured it would make a perfectly safe place to test out any new spells I learn and also help provide a safe place where i can unwind and cut loose any extra Ether build up so it doesn't kill me..." she chuckled nervously at the last part. It wasn't her fault that she was born with a body that produced ethereal energy that for years had caused her no end of health issues until she started learning how to control them. Shrugging that thought aside she continued to address her brother. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything?"

"Not at all." Asalis confirmed. "I was actually just tinkering with the design of an old defunct project of mine but I'm not getting anywhere with it. What's up?"

Zeek immediately brightened up at this news. "Excellent, I was wondering if you'd be willing to help me out with my own project?" her expression soon turned to a cautiously hopeful one as Asalis appeared to mull over her question over for a bit.

"What is it you need my help with?" Asalis finally responds with a neutral tone.

"Well as you know I've been working with a lot of magic as of late with my mentor and he's finally shared with me a new tome." Zeek began as she lead her brother across the hall into her lab. "In it I found a spell that I spent the last month perfecting and now it's in its final stages and ready for a field test, thing is I need two people in order for it to work."

"And you want me to be that second person?" Asalis maintained his neutral expression as he only received a simple nod in reply. He decided to err on the side of caution and ask "What is it that the spell is supposed to do?"

"Well..." Zeek nervously played with one of her lop ears draped over her shoulder while she went on to explain. "Without harming either of the spell's participants, it allows them to swap different parts of their anatomy with one another as defined by the circle I have drawn on the floor, but don't worry. I made absolutely sure that I tested it vigorously with inanimate object before eventually graduating to small animals and working my way up, and now it's ready for the final field test."

"And what of the condition of the animals you tested it on?" Asalis asked, still maintaining that neutral tone.

Zeek simply smiled and indicated a small hamster habitat on a nearby counter. "All participants in the tests are no worse for wear and showed no signs of any ill effects both during the experiment and after when they reverted back a few hours later." Zeek waited with baited breath as her brother appeared to be thinking it over before his expression softened with a smile. She immediately let go of the breath that she hadn't realized she had been holding.

"Alright, tell me what I need to do." he said.

"Well, first we need to remove all of our clothes before hand." Zeek instructed. "The spell reacts very badly to artificial fibers and I'd rather us not burst into flames, so let's also make sure that they're as far from the circle as possible."

Asalis quirked an eyebrow at this but did as instructed regardless. He trusted his sisters judgment when it came to things of the magical persuasion and he had no reason to doubt her after hearing her explanation. Once all of their garments were discarded the green furred hare turned to his sister and asked. "Okay, now what?"

"Now we step into the middle of the circle and embrace each other in a hug." Zeek explained while making sure to also keep her back to him as she didn't want him to see her blush. "I will then activate the spell and we must maintain physical contact like that until the tingling sensation we feel dissipates."

"Alright." Asalis says and stepped into the middle of the circle where he waited for his sister to approach.

Zeek tried her best yet failed to hide the growing blush on her cheeks as she joined her naked brother within the circle. She swallowed a nervous lump in her throat before cautiously wrapping her arms around her brother's torso. Not long after she felt his arms wrap around her and pull her in close. She couldn't help the full blush on her cheeks as she felt her completely bare body pressed firmly up against his.

Swallowing down another lump and taking a couple of calming breaths to steel her nerves, Zeek focused her mind on the runes, letting her ethereal energy mingle with the chalk lines and filling them with energy. Once the levels were sufficient she snapped her fingers and the lines started to glow a soft pale blue. The glow was soft at first but quickly built up in intensity though not quite enough to blind the occupants standing in the center of the circle. A tingling sensation washed over her body as she expected. She let the feeling build until it was practically the only thing on her mind yet she closed her eyes. She dare not watch the process as she felt the spell follow through with its ethereal programming. Shortly after the soft blue glow of the spell started to ebb and the tingling sensation Zeek felt was also beginning to dissipate. She let out a sigh of relief as the last of the spell washed from her body. Then her mind snapped back to reality.

Zeek was once again aware of the physical presence of her brother whom she was currently hugging her bare body against. Her eyes snapped open and darted about wildly for a moment as a blush returned to her cheeks once more. She felt her brothers arms relax from around her and pull away and she hesitantly did the same. Her mind was racing now. She had worked on this spell with this goal in mind but now that she actually completed it she was hesitant to see her handiwork.

Taking a couple more calming breaths she backed away from her brothers form and finally looked down at herself. Her eyes going wide and a smile creeping on her muzzle. The process had worked without fail. She and her brother had successfully swapped genitals with one another, she now sporting a penis and her brother... Her glance moved up to her brother standing in front of her whom was also admiring her spells handi-work. Between his legs was the vagina she once had on her body.

"I think your spell was a success." Asalis complimented his younger sister. "I suppose it's a good thing that this will only last a couple of hours."

Zeek's eyes shot wide open upon her brother's last comment and panic raced through her mind as she did quick calculations in her head before hesitantly speaking up. "Actually, that's not entirely true..."

"What do you mean?" Asalis asked in curiosity.

"Well.." Zeek hesitantly admitted, while wringing one of her lop ears in her grip nervously. "As I was testing different objects, I noticed that in terms of mass and how many different elemental properties were involved, the energy needed for the swapping process also increased. For instance when I swapped two wooden table parts with one another it lasted a few minutes. Then when I got things with more than one elemental make up like a metal table with a glass top and a pure metal table made from copper and steel, the time went up. And the more elements present, the longer the spell lasted. So when I graduated to complex organism such as those hamsters I was pleasantly surprised to find the effects lasted hours instead of minutes.

"Zeek." Asalis stopped his sister in mid ramble. "What are you getting at."

"Well you see." Zeek hesitated once more before continuing. "Given my calculations of our body mass, and the complex inner workings of our body with the increased mass." she paused once more to run the final calculations in her head. "We have roughly two and a half months before we finally revert back..."

For a moment they stood there in silence. That same neutral, nonchalant expression on his face. Zeek's heart sank with every tick of the nearby clock on the wall as the silence rang loudly in her ears. She was on the verge of hyperventilating as her brother remained unresponsive to her sudden admission.

"Eh," He finally shrugged. "It's not like anyone outside this house is going to see it anyway."

Zeek let go of another breath she didn't realize she had been holding and sighed with relief.

"Oh and Zeek." He waited till she turned her head to look at him before continuing. "I suppose this gives you plenty of time to have fun exploring your new appendage before you finally get your old parts back." He quickly ducked out of the door and into the hallway as a small wad of Zeek's clothes went flying at him.

Zeek could hear his cackling laughter as she just stood there with a bright red blush showing through her facial fur and inner ears. This as a result caused her mind to wander over the prospect of such an action, which in turn only succeeded in intensifying the blush on her cheeks even more. Then a new sensation filled her body which prompted her to look down and see a now fully erect penis, which turned her face entirely beet red.

"Oh, fuck me..." was all she could think to say in this moment
