#3 of A Demonic Challenge

Welcome to Chapter 2!

Our gang have made it into the games surrounding the demons but things are not going quite as they envisioned!

Liquid flowed around Sefra, slick, smooth, oily feeling liquid rolling through his fur as he was tugged this way and that. Waking up the rabbit took a deep breath and shuddered as the valve in the gas mask covering his head clicked and hissed. Like the last time he'd woken up he was hooded, the slick latex clinging to his head and shoulders tightly binding him. Smoked lenses set before his eyes showed only a slick, shimmering darkness outside, roiling liquid eternity that pushed and flowed against the gas mask and his otherwise naked body.

This time it felt different however, the liquid oozing through his fur was clinging, tugging solidly at his body in odd places. With a start and a muffled moan into his gas mask Sefra's brain caught up with the sensations he was feeling. Something flexible and tight was wrapped about his dick, sucking him off with long spaced teasing contractions of smooth latex. As a counterpoint to each sucking, teasing, shaft squeezing moment was the wriggling, inflating tube worming its way up into his arse. It spread him wide every time the suction around his dick trailed off only to deflate and wriggle against his prostate as the sucking, squeezing, toying motion came again.

This hadn't happened last time, there had just been the slick smooth liquid brushing over his body as he slid through it. Now he was hanging in place being toyed with, tugged, tormented, every breath accompanied by the click and hiss of the gas mask clinging to his face. Squirming back and forth Sefra tried to bring his hands down, to grab one of the tormenting tubes but the liquid thickened, solidified around wrist and ankles and left him unable to move. If he relaxed it returned to liquid and allowed him to sway and squirm in time to the tormenting suction. Moaning Sefra quit trying to pull free and started to rock his hips back and forth, gasping, groaning, panting and thrusting forward and backwards toward the source of tormented pleasure. It didn't take long after he submitted, the liquid squeezing his body started to ripple and flow over and through his fur faster, the suction and inflating teasing grew faster, closer together. Squealing in pleasure Sefra dumped his load into the sucking tube, moaning heavily. The gas mask seemed to seal shut, depriving him of fresh air as he splattered his load out into the tube in shaky, pleasurable pulses that made his arse clench and massage the dildo inflated fully in his rear.

Lungs burning, body twitching Sefra let the last of his seed go and sagged, exhausted and dizzy and shivering as the gas mask clicked and wheezed and allowed him to breathe. For a moment he hung there, stunned, confused, aching and it took him a moment to realise he was moving through the liquid again. It was flowing over his naked body differently, pushing him from behind with greater force as the tubes attached to groin and arse seemed to melt into it. For a moment more he was being pushed through the liquid and then he felt his body broach the surface. Cool air played over his bare fur, light filled the lenses of his gas mask momentarily blinding him and then he was stumbling forwards, bare paws thumping against a stone floor.

Shaking his head Sefra reached up to grip his gas mask, fingers running down his throat, feeling over the collar that held it in an airtight seal about his throat. There was a buckle, it didn't appear to be locked but he hesitated to remove it as the air outside had a peculiar blue/green haze to it. There were two pipes attached to the front muzzle part of his gas mask; they curved back over his shoulders and joined a tank hanging from the heavy latex harness that crisscrossed his chest. The harness seamlessly joined the belt around his waist that flowed in turn down into a pair of thigh length shorts. They clung tightly to his butt and crotch leaving him with a very distinctive bulge. Latex cuffs encircled his wrists and ankles but otherwise his body was bare. The click and hiss of his breathing filled his ears, pure air being fed to him from the tank nestled between his shoulder blades. The left hand pipe had a small display built into it showing him 100% in pale green text and as he breathed slowly it ticked down to 99%.

Running his hands down his arms Sefra felt over the cog and clockwork designs dyed into his fur. The designs felt alive beneath his touch but the latex clothing cut them in half it all seemed to have adhered themselves to his skin, forming a seal. He could not lift or shift any of it from shorts to harness or cuffs, it was all perfectly skin tight; even the gas mask clung to his face though somehow he knew it'd peel off if he unbuckled the collar.

Having taken stock of his body and peculiar outfit Sefra looked around. The room he was in had a solid stone floor but the wall was a circular patch of shiny black latex. Floor to ceiling it was seven feet of glistening black plastic with only one break, a tall archway that led somewhere else. As he watched Sefra saw other figures oozing through the seemingly solid walls, each person dressed in the same outfit as he was. The only difference was the gas masks covering their heads, they were all moulded to fit, showing a host of different species all looking at themselves and taking stock of each other.

Sefra recognized three bodies as they emerged, the silvery white cog and numeral patterns covering their bodies acted as beacons. The moonblossom joined Flinty who raised a paw in greeting, the fox looked rather hot dressed up in such deliciously scandalous bondage gear. Quinten and Marcos joined them and the quartet of friends looked around warily at the others, moving closer so they could talk through the muffling enclosure of their gas masks.

"What happened?" Flinty demanded, the fox tugging ineffectual at his shorts, "Last thing I remember is reaching the temple."

"I think we passed into the game world," Marcos suggested with a frown at the others, "This is where we wanted to be."

"I wasn't expecting this," Quin growled tugging at his gas mask hood, "This thing has bundled my dreads up, they feel awful constrained by this latex," the hares hood bulged at the back, a loose sphere of latex that contained his long hair, "I suspect we've been pulled into the game dimension like Marcos said but who are these others?"

"Other players of the game of course," a voice whispered to them and as the quartet turned they found themselves face to face with a figured draped in bulky, flowing satin robes. Arms and legs were just dark shapes covered in fabric, he had four arms and the robe billowed and draped over all of them as he moved. A pair of marvelous wings of black latex and vinyl spread out to either side of the short figure. Their head was covered by a black and silver helmet crafted into the semblance of a moth's head, smoked lenses hid the eyes from sight and Sefra took a half step back in alarm as they spread their wings and arms wide, raising their voice so everyone could hear.

"Welcome everyone, I am your Host... together we shall journey onward through games toward the final prize... a chance to escape or... other boons as you so desire."

"You can't do this to us," one figure shouted tugging at their gas mask, "Let us go at once ... "

The host turned robe billowing, "You are but players now... some of you will fall, others will return to storage but you have no choice but to play. The only way out is to defeat the Dark Knight in the Citadel and request freedom..."

The protesting player got the buckle of their collar undone and pulled off the hood covering their head. They were a tiger, their orange furred head bristling with anger as they strode toward the host, fist raised, "I will not play, this is some sort of bad joke... you'll let us go or.... Urhjhfffff..."

The feline's eyes rolled back in his head and he thumped to his knees gasping and shuddering as whatever was in the air got into his body. Sefra watched, unable to look away as the tiger twisted and squealed body bucking and thrashing back and forth as he gargled and choked. His arms and legs were melding together, his orange fur fell out in great clumps revealing orange and black striped scales. The strong features of the tiger grew blunt, narrow and reptilian, ears smoothing away, eyes blinking, forked tongue hissing out as their elongating body twisted and thrashed from side to side, feet changing into a pointed tail tip.

It seemed to go on forever but their writhing form suddenly snapped into motion, coiling upwards, heavy, sliding, undulating coils slithering back and forth over one another as they lifted their long tube like body up into the air and hissed softly, head darting from side to side as they examined their new body.

"What...."

The host walked forward, knelt down and placed a hand atop the orange and black snake's head and he stilled, eyes wide in shock as he stared up at the helmeted bug. "What did you do to me... turn me back," even their voice had changed, a sibilant hiss around their fangs.

"You lost ... this is the Knight's Dungeon, to breathe the air is to lose," the helmet turned, regarding all the other players, "To lose by trap or trick, monster storage awaits... eventually. Running out air, breathing the atmosphere of the dungeon will reduce you from player to beast... serve well and one day you might earn your place as a player again. But for now, you have lost," the hosts arms stiffened, the snake squealed as he was pushed through the stones, vanishing from sight. Cloaked fingers brushed the empty patch where the tiger turned snake had been before the host stood up and spread their arms wide.

"Seven of you remain, the dungeon end is your goal. Escape and you will be rewarded, fail and you will fall like the tiger did," turning slowly the host's mask seemed to regard everyone, "Two routes to victory, everyone who leaves wins... so two teams I make..."

The host then separated everyone into two groups, one of three, another of four. Sefra wound up with Flinty, a purple rabbit with a horn in the middle of their forehead and a short, thin hyena whose wide eyes peered from behind their gas mask worriedly. Quinten and Marcos where in the group of three alongside a canine of some kind who had smooth dark skin instead of fur, except for a bright orange tuft on their tail tip.

Sweeping his arms, cloak billowing dramatically he pointed at two stone arches set into the wall, "Go now, you will play together, each room holds several things. A puzzle to test, a solution for progression, a trap to confound and last but not least a hidden place where your tanks can be refilled. Go now and have fun... I will see some of you at the end."

With those words he vanished in a swirl of cloak and green mist. Sefra eyed his companions warily, then shrugged and headed for one of the doors letting the others on his team follow him. This was going to be deadlier and very different from any of the demon's games he'd played before.

Taking a deep, breath of air Sefra grimaced at the slight rubbery aftertaste it left in his mouth. It wasn't a pleasure but the real reward was in seeing the gauge on his oxygen tank reading 100% again. The room they had just finished had taken forever he'd been at 3% by the time they got the exit door open. Leaning against the wall the moonbunny waited for Shy to finish refilling his tank and looked back across the chamber they had just finished.

There had been five tables set with chess boards and a series of numerical clues arranged around the side of the room. If Shy and Flinty hadn't have been along he'd have run out of air and probably have been writhing about on the floor turning into a snake or worse. Flinty was smart, he'd been a great help in double checking their facts. Shy however was a quiet savant. He'd been able to work the numbers out in his head and correlate them to the chess boards in his head.

Turning away from the room Sefra patted Shy on the shoulder and grinned beneath his mask, "Good job," he wheezed, "We could never have done that without you so thanks... shall we see what lies ahead?"

"Sure," Shy whispered, tugging at his gas mask, one paw running up as if to brush through his mohawk which was neatly hidden beneath the skin tight layer of latex, "Do you wonder why they make us wear all this?"

Shaking his head Sefra sighed which caused the valves in his own mask to whistle into the tubes feeding him fresh air, "Because the bastard running this game is a pervert? To remind us of how fucked we are I've got no idea really."

Advancing into the next room cautiously conversation trailed off as the four players started to examine the room. It looked harmless enough, a large, empty stone chamber with raised daisies at either end connected to the main expanse of flagstones by broad steps.

"So what are we meant to do here?" Nido asked, the purple rabbit edged down the steps and crouched so he could examine the floor, "I don't see any writing do you?"

"Not writing but definitely a pattern," Flinty chipped in pointing up, "Look at the ceiling, I think it's showing us the correct path."

Lying on his back to examine the ceiling through the lenses of his mask Sefra frowned, raising one bare arm to try and trace a path across the ceiling. The tiles covering the ceiling were subtly different shades but he could just about trace a path zig-zagging across the room to the other set of steps, "Yeah I can see it too OK everyone let's get over to the other side as quickly as possible, times running out.

Sefra's air tank was down to 79% already, as far as he could work out they were given just under ten minutes of air. The added pressure meant they didn't dare spend too much time over-thinking each solution. That's how the trap caught them, spread out in a loose line across the floor, alternating between checking the ceiling and the path ahead of them Nido and Flinty missed it entirely when the ceiling re-arranged itself. Shy froze on the bottom step of the far side, the little hyena had skipped ahead effortlessly once the path was clear. The others were slower however not having his memory for remembering details they had to constantly check their steps. Yipping in alarm as the path re-wrote itself the hyena called out for everyone to stop but he was only in time to save Sefra. The cream furred bunny had the good fortune to be looking up to check his next move so stood perfectly still as Shy shouted in alarm and all the ceiling tiles moved.

Flinty and Nido were less lucky, stepping forwards onto flagstones they thought were safe they both squeaked in alarm as they found the floor oozing up around their feet. Solid looking stone squelched around their bare toes and started to suck and bubble with escaping air as they began to sink. Flinty wavered back and forth but was able to stay upright as his feet slipped beneath the surface, the blue fox windmilling his arms frantically in an attempt to stay upright. Nido was less lucky, caught in an awkward position his momentum carried him forwards, knees bending and arms reaching out to try and catch himself as his feet suddenly got stuck. He struck the floor hard and squelched into the suddenly semi-liquid stone. He sank up to his wrists in the thick muck as it oozed rapidly over his lower legs pulling him under from the knees down. Nido squeaked in alarm and tugged ineffectively at his hands and wriggled his hips, the flagstones refused to release their grip on his limbs. The stone seemed as solid and immobile as usual and yet he was slowly but surely sinking as if it was made of wet cement.

"A little help please...." Nido shouted in alarm as he continued to sink, "Please... this is... help!" wriggling from side to side the purple rabbit attempted to pull himself free, grunting and wincing as the hard stone clamped around his lower legs and wrists pressed and pinched his flesh.

"I'm on my way," Shy shouted, the little hyena peering at the ceiling and starting to move along the steps, "Try not to wriggle around, I can..."

He was cut off as Sefra shouted, "No, Shy stay there, you are already safe, I need you to call out directions to me," Shy whined but stayed put, bouncing back and forth on his feet as he shouted out the new path to Sefra, guiding him over to Flinty first as he was closer. The blue fox was only a few steps away but the path was circuitous and took Sefra the better part of twenty seconds to navigate. Twenty second was all it took for Flinty to sink a couple of inches, the stone creeping up his shins but the moment Sefra hooked his arms around the fox's shoulder he came free of the stone easily. Sefra pulled him up onto the platform with him, panting inside his gas mask, his rubbery clothing creaking and squeaking against the foxes as he pulled him bodily back onto the safe path. Dry, dust clung to Flinty's feet and shins, flaking off his fur and cracking like dried cement but otherwise he seemed fine.

"That is nasty..." Flinty said shaking his head, "I couldn't physically pull myself free on my own..." the fox peered through the lenses of his mask toward Nido. The purple, poison bunny was only two feet behind them, looking up at them in a panic as he continued to slowly sink.

"Yes," he shouted, his muffled voice tinged with a little hint of desperation and fear, "Could you maybe come pull me out... I am still sinking..." his knees had sunk entirely and the flagstones had almost reached his elbows, "Please..."

"Ok Shy, call out the path... " turning to look back at the hyena who was staring at the ceiling Sefra waved an arm, "Shy... the path please quickly.."

"It's changing, hang on... Ok... left... now...right and forward three and..." calling out directions Shy led Flinty and Sefra away from Nido toward the far side of the sunken floor and started to bring them back. They were little more than two feet away when the hyena shouted for the fox and rabbit to stop as the path was changing again.

"No, there isn't a path that goes near him..." Shy hopped from foot to foot, "It is changing the path faster each time and the way back is getting worse... I have to bring you forwards now or in two changes time you'll be trapped..."

"We can't leave Nido," Flinty shouted kneeling down on the flagstone and reaching, stretching toward the poison bunny, "If we can just grap a part of him we can pull him free."

"I can't get you any closer, Flinty, Sefra you have to leave him... hurry..."

Sefra dithered, they were so close to Nido but every tile around the bunny was a lethal trap ready to ensnare them all. He couldn't reset for one person, especially someone not part of Quinten's time magic, shaking his head he pulled Flinty away from the edge and started toward Shy on the steps. "Sorry Nido... we can't stop..."

"No!" Nido shouted, thrashing back and forth, struggling to pull himself out of the gripping, tugging flagstones, "You can't leave me, you can't.... No!" Nido's thrashing, panicked attempts to pull himself free pulled him under faster, the slow sinking became a rapid descent, large bubbles bursting all around him as he descended into the flagstone floor. He squealed as it engulfed his crotch, the stone oozing around it and he whimpered, eyes bulging out of his head as the stone squeezed around his latex clad balls and massaged his sheath.

"It's... help please you can't leave me here..." Nido shouted, desperately trying to ignore the slow thickening of his shaft. He was sinking, he was being pulled down and a part of him was busy acknowledging how great this felt... throwing his head back he moaned. It was so unfair... sinking slowly into quicksand, or mud was so good... felt so good and this damn trap was pushing all those buttons as he slowly settled deeper under the floor. Tilting his head back Nido gasped, the pipes attached to his mask stretching, pulled tight as he strained to pull free and at the same time to hump the floor. It was immobile however, it felt like quicksand beneath the surface but the flagstone still gripped him like it was solid.

Sprawled on the steps Sefra stared back at Nido, the bunny was nearly all the way under, his arms were pulling his torso down flat to the floor and he was started to sink beneath the flagstone. Their eyes met and Sefra made himself hold that desperate, wide eyed gaze until the gas mask encased head of the purple rabbit sank out of sight beneath the floor. The flagstones rippled over the top of his air tank and then he was gone and the floor was once again flat and undisturbed.

""He's still got his air tank... he... m-might? ...survive?" Shy whispered as he joined Sefra and Flinty, staring at the smooth, solid seeming expanse of flagstones.

Sefra shook his head and glanced at his remaining team, "...w-we should go, there is nothing we can do here... if we beat this place maybe we can get him back?"

"I'm not sure," Shy said hurrying up the steps, "But I don't want that to happen to me, let's find the refill point and get into the next room before we get caught in a trap too."

Sefra nodded and slowly pulled himself away from the floor that had consumed Nido. Shaking his head Sefra hurried after Flinty and Shy who were searching the wall for the next refill point. Shy found it with a happy yip and pulled the pipe out of the wall and attached it to his tank and watched with a happy sigh as the gauge indicating how much air he had left started to fill back up.

Shaking his head Sefra leant against the wall to wait his turn then frowned as he spotted Flinty refilling his tank from a separate pipe, "Wait... that isn't right there have never been..."

He was cut off as Shy staggered and the bunny caught the hyena, the little guy rested his head against Sefra then blinked blearily up at the bunny from behind the lenses of his gas mask. "Something... is... this air tastes... funny...."

"Oh fuck..." Sefra pushed Shy away from him and backed up against Flinty, staring from one pipe to another. Shy was still connected to the wall, filling his tank with the tainted, boobytrapped gas, "Damn it, that is so fucking unfair...."

"What is?" Flinty asked as he plugged the refill point into Sefra's tank and peered around the bunny toward the hyena who was now staggering back and forth, "What... is wrong with Shy?"

"They got him," Sefra said worriedly, pulling Flinty further down the corridor to the next chamber, "There were two refill points... one of them well... oh hell.."

Shy fell to the ground, gasping and shivering, his tawny, golden and brown fur was rippling, turning grey, changing right before their eyes as his body grew thinner and fur fell away from his hands, feet and tail leaving behind dark pink flesh. The hyena's shorts sagged and slipped down his thighs, his harness shifted and slipped as he became too thin to support it any more. Shy's gas mask flopped off his head and took the formerly skin tight and secure harness with it. What was under the mask wasn't a hyena, it was a rat, sleek, narrow, pointed rodent head with thick whiskers, red eyes that burned malevolently. He had rounded, pink rat ears that twitched and flapped as the transforming hyena shook his head from side to side as he continued to shrink.

Falling forwards onto all fours Shy stretched, his spine popping, clicking, rippling beneath his new shaggy fur. His legs and arms twisted, limbs and joints popping into a new, feral configuration as he emitted a chuckling, giggling squeaking laugh and turned his head sideways to regard the rabbit and fox.

"Shy..." Sefra called out hesitantly, "Shy is that still you... can you understa...." he stopped as the big rat hiccuped then coughed and spat out a smaller black rat... the giant feral rat that had a moment ago been a hyena looked confused then started hacking and coughing and spitting up more rats. They were big, fat, feral dungeon rats, and more of them were sliding out of Shy's furry body. Twitching noses, slithering tails, bare paws and shaggy, unkempt fur... rat after rat was falling out of Shy as he shrank and twisted and lost mass to each new rat. With a startled squeak Shy fell apart entirely leaving behind a roiling, squeaking, scampering mass of rats. Each one with beady red eyes; eyes that were now looking up at Flinty and Sefra and squeaking softly, whiskered snouts twitching as they started to get up onto all four feet and move toward them.

"Run..." Sefra said turning and pushing Flinty ahead of him, "Run!"

Flinty didn't need telling twice, he was already running, pounding along ahead of the bunny down the long stone corridor ahead as behind them the rats squeaked and chittered and scampered after them, intent on their prey.

Catching Marcos' hooves in his hands Quinten heaved the goat's body up onto the platform, panting inside his gas mask, straining to keep hold of him. Marcos meanwhile bent his body forwards and flung himself off the swing rope he'd been using. He landed on the stone with a thump and Quin wound up tangled beneath him for a moment before they carefully disengaged, cautious to not let their pipes get tangled together.

Sitting up and shaking his head Quinten grumbled at the odd feeling the mask made were it was bundled up around his dreadlocks and stared back at Morty. The Peruvian dog had caught the swing rope and was waiting patiently for them to move before he made the swing himself. He was incredibly short but the canine was strong and was able to swing himself from platform to platform with ease.

"Sorry," Marcos said as he clambered back to his feet, "I'm holding you all back, you shouldn't wait for me."

"We're not leaving you," Quin grumbled as he picked up the next jump rope, "Not your fault this room isn't designed with hooves in mind. Now this is the last one and we get out of here," Taking a short hopping run up the silver, gold and white painted hare leapt off the platform his powerful bunny legs shoving him forwards across the gap. Quin landed effortlessly on the far ledge next to the exit and turned around in time to watch Morty land next to Marcos on the previous platform.

Soon enough Marcos was trying to cross the gap, swinging back and forth with Morty shoving him forwards each time he swung back. It took four attempts until Quin could hook an arm around the goat and reel him in slowly. Morty landed next to them a moment later and all three swiftly abandoned the assault cause and its treacherous drop into darkness and started searching for the recharging port for their air tanks. Morty found it first and as the dog topped his tank off Quin found his gas mask to be growing hot and stifling. The valve stopped clicking and as he gasped for air the hare saw his gauge was at 0%, this last room had taken too long.

Holding what meager breath he had Quinten slowly sank to his knees, black and purple spots dancing before his eyes as his lungs started to burn and insist he take a new breath. The latex of his gas mask seemed to constrict, pressing against his fur, squeezing his head as his vision started to narrow. He was dimly aware of paws scrabbling at his harness, someone was tugging on his air tank and then gorgeous air flowed into his gas mask and he choked and gasped down a fresh lungful at last. Blinking tears from his eyes the hare turned and smiled at Morty and gave him a thumbs up as he sucked down fresh... well rubbery scented air through the pipes attached to his gas mask.

"Welcome," Morty replied to Quin's grateful gesture, the dogs whip like furless tail was wagging back and forth, "Can't have you guys conking out on me."

Slowly standing up Quin checked on Marcos, the white and blue goat was busy refilling his own tank so the hare pulled his harness straight, the latex was still seemingly fused to his skin, as where his tight shorts. They didn't shift or move at all, just clung to his body and moved as if it was part of him.

"Looks clear," Morty said confidently as he took a cautious couple of steps into the oval shaped stone chamber, "I don't see any obvious traps," his tail wagged twice and the muscular dog moved deeper into the room, head turning from side to side so he could see everything through his gas mask's lenses. The room was huge, and looked somewhat like an arena, there were tiered benches rising up all around and a grand box surmounting the far wall of the chamber like the royal box in some ancient Roman arena. They were down on the sand covered arena floor, the first level of benches was twelve foot above them atop smooth sandstone walls. Unlike the traditional arenas of ancient rome the whole chamber was capped by a massive, fluted dome.

Quinten followed with Marcos' hooves muffled by the sand, they got maybe two feet before a rumbling, grating noise made them all turn in time to watch the wall seal itself. Marcos took several steps back toward the wall but stopped and shook his head, "That seems ominous, we had best be..." he trailed off as a figure stepped up to the railing of the royal box, cloak shrouded arms raised as if greeting an unseen crowd, silver and black helmet lowered to regard the three latex clad players standing on the sand of the arena.

"Welcome Quinten, Marcos, Morty, this room is a little different, it's the last room before you reach the exit to the dungeon," the moth host's voice carried easily, "There are many ways into this room but you three came in through the gladiators door. So I am afraid... you must fight...." with those words the moth sat down on a large throne, huge shiny wings spreading wide as Morty bound forward and shook his fist at the host.

"Let us go you bastard, this isn't a fair game, we have no weapons," he turned as the rumbling grating of one of the walls heralded another door opening. The dog frowned and took a half step forwards, the open gate revealed a large wall of strangely translucent green gel, "What on earth is... aaaaaaaaaah!"

Huge tendrils of green gel snapped out of the gelatinous mass, reaching across the arena to wrap around Morty's waist and lift him off the ground. He barked angrily and clawed at the gelatinous goop, trying to pull himself free but it was strangely rubbery, a solid, flexible membrane covering the liquid goop beneath the surface.

Quinten and Marcos ran forward to help but they had to leap aside as more tendrils of green goo lashed out at them. The mass blocking the open door oozed its way out into the arena as the hare and goat ran for it. It was a solid, cube shaped mass of gelatinous goop that was capable of extending tendrils of goo and forming long fluted mouth like protrusions. One of these was oozing out of one wall of the cube, leaning up toward Morty as the dog barked and thrashed about wildly. Staring down in terror Morty redoubled his efforts, thrashing even wilder as the thick rubbery membrane covering the protrusion peeled back. It split open to reveal the thick gel beneath. Clawing at the tendril holding him the dog attempted to hold on as the cube flicked him at that wide open gelatinous maw.

There was nothing for him to hold onto and with a muffled yelp Morty sank into the waiting muck with a sickening gloop. The outer membrane sealed shut and the protrusion oozed back into the cube, shoving the dog deeper into the thick, clinging, gelatinous muck.

Quinten dodged left, tumbling forwards into a roll that kicked up a wave of sand as he watched Morty's twisting, flailing body being pulled deeper inside the cube. Looking around he saw Marcos on the other side of the peculiar gelatinous beast, trying to climb the smooth wall of the arena. The goat wasn't doing badly, he was a third of the way up somehow, but then goats had a knack for climbing impossible surfaces and Marcos was no exception.

For a moment it looked like he was going to make it but the cube wobbled like disturbed jelly and launched itself into the air. The massive lime green shape shouldn't have been able to move like that but whatever foul sentience and magic gave it life clearly didn't care for the laws of reason or physics. The cube slapped into the wall atop Marcos, the rubbery outer shell wobbling slightly as the thick gel inside bulged and compacted. The cube stuck to the wall for a moment then slithered back down without leaving behind a single drop of itself or Marcos behind. The goat had been drawn inside, struggling valiantly but futilely against the slick cloying grasp of the cube's inner gel..

Quinten had no desire to follow them. If it looked like it was going to get him he would have to reset time and find another solution. Backing away across the sand he shot the Dark Host a dirty look and shouted at him, "This is not fair, you said if we lost we would go back into storage, that thing is eating them!"

"Is it?" the Dark Host called out with a laugh, "Or is it just making sure they are ready for a different kind of storage? I promise you our Cube here is very highly trained, it has been fun to watch bunny..."

Quinten winched at the tone of voice and then thrust down with all his magic, searching desperately for some hint, some trace of life in the ground as the Cube wobbled its way majestically toward him. It was picking up speed so Quinten turned and fled toward the wall of the arena, the damn thing shouldn't have been able to move that fast and there was no life, no hint of nature at all in this accursed arena he could use his powers on. Turning around at the last second he tried manipulating the inner ooze of the cube as if it was paint but the wall of green gel rolled over him unimpeded by anything he could summon up. For a moment Quinten was buried, bulging against the outer shell of the cube then it gave way with a wet slurp and he instantly started struggling as the thick, oozing slime surrounding his body started to squeeze and tug and pull him deeper.

What was worse however was he could feel Marcos and Morty's own shrieks all around him and the childlike glee of the cube's peculiar sentience forcing its way and just what it had in store for its new toys...

Running as fast as he could Sefra blinked his eyes, wishing desperately that he could wipe the sweat from his eyes. He'd lost track of how long or how far he had run. All he knew was that his muscles ached, his fur was slick with sweat and the swarm of rats was still right behind them. There hadn't been any more rooms, no traps or tricks to trick the swarm into or slow it down, only endless corridors. There were hungry, red-eyed squeaking shapes directly behind them and getting closer every second. Up ahead the corridor ended at a blank wall and a T-Junction, Sefra ducked his head, powerful bunny legs carrying him forward just ahead of Flinty. The fox was wheezing and whistling through the valves of his gas mask as he tried to keep running.

"Left," Sefra shouted and tore around the corner, raising his head he saw the steps curving up and took them three at a time, leaping upwards. He was on the 9th step when he felt them all move and hurled himself forwards, tumbling over the edge and onto the landing above as they gave way. Rolling over the rabbit leant over the edge and gaped, there was just a sheer drop, the stairs had dropped down into the floor leaving Flinty hammering at a dead end. The blue fox turned and tried to run the other way but he didn't quite make the junction before the swarm came boiling around the edge and knocked him off his feet.

He yelped and flailed around him at the large, rodent bodies but they carried him up against the bottom of the new precipice Sefra was lying atop and swarmed and scurried all around him. Sitting up Flinty pushed the rats off his body, pulled them from his shoulders and threw them back into the swarm as he tried to turn around and climb up the wall.

"Behind you," Sefra screamed as a mound of milling dungeon rats parted to reveal a huge black rat, larger than the others. It was growing bigger by the second as more and more rats swarmed into it. Sefra could see them, rat after rat sinking into the beast's tail as if it was water, swelling its size, adding to its bulk until it was nearly the same size as Flinty. Leaning over the edge Sefra tried to reach Flinty but the distance was too great, there was no way he could reach the fox and Flinty was too terrified, frozen in place and staring at the growing rat to attempt to climb. Sefra shouted his name but the fox didn't reply, he just lay there, pressed back against the stone, staring in horror. The last of the rats poured themselves into the huge, black rat's tail and it loomed over the fox. The last rat dived into the long, pink flesh, vanishing beneath the surface with a ripple and the rodent snapped forward and closed its jaws around Flinty's head.

The fox yelped and struggled, his paws coming up to grab fistfuls of thick, shaggy black fur but the rat just tossed the vulpine in the air like a toy and started to swallow. One gulp saw Flinty lost up to his elbows, arms forced to his side as he wriggled and struggled against the tight confines of the rat's slimy throat. Another gulp and Flinty was reduced to a pair of kicking, flailing legs and a blue tail. The fox's cries were lost in the rat and with a gulp and a sharp click of jaws Flinty was swallowed entirely, barely making a bulge as he slipped down the rodent's throat and away.

Sefra stared at the rat and bright, beady red eyes grinned back up at him and a long pink tongue licked over yellowed buck teeth. It then stood up on its hind paws, head level with Sefra's perch and the bunny fled! Claws scrabbled at the stone behind but Sefra didn't look back, he barreled along the corridor and slammed through a wooden door that barred the way. Quickly turning around he slammed it shut in the face of the big rat and sagged in relief as the large locking bar slid home. Backing away the rabbit watched the door shudder as the big rat battered himself against it but it seemed to hold, at least for now.

Turning around Sefra jumped as he found himself face to face with the Dark Host, the satin and latex shrouded moth was watching him. Their black and silver helmet pointed at the rabbit as his antennae twitched and swayed back and forth atop his head. He didn't say anything, just raised a hand and pointed out over the railings to the arena floor below. Hesitantly Sefra moved to the edge of the platform and peered down and gaped at the massive gelatinous cube below. It was over twelve feet wide across each side and floating inside where the half digested remains of Quinten, Marcos and the dog they had been teamed up with.

"It's quite the sight isn't it," the host purred, cloaked arms draped around Sefra's shoulders and hugging his waist, pulling the rabbit back against the body-cloaking shroud. The silver helmet rested on Sefra's shoulder as the rabbit tensed and shot a startled look at the stylised mask. "They lost the right to be players and are being reduced to just beasts, well part of a beast."

"You are a monster!" Sefra shouted, pushing away from the host, stepping out of reach of his satin draped arms, "A monster!"

"Now bunny it is all part of the game, will you stay here and play a final game with me... or try your luck in the last part of the dungeon?"

"What do you mean," Sefra queried, eyes darting around, locking onto the embrasure to one side and the stairs leading down hidden to one side of the Dark Host, "What sort of game?"

"A simple game, to decide if you will be leaving here as a beast or a player in storage like the dear, delightful Nidonocu you so callously allowed to sink before your eyes into the quicksand trap."

"I couldn't reach him," Sefra growled, "and I will never play a game with you!" he leapt past the Host and plunged down the stairs, leaping down in a haphazard tumble until he hit the landing below. The floor clicked out from under him and Sefra fell with a yelp, pushing off desperately from the floor as it swung out from under him. It wasn't enough, he was going too fast, he slammed into the far wall and slid down the exposed shaft, straight down the trap the Dark Host had tricked him into.

Sefra bounced off a curve in the wall, slid down a sloping section of tunnel and squeaked as a huge pair of black and orange jaws opened wide. A massive snake was lurking at the bottom of the shaft and in the confined space Sefra couldn't throw himself out of the way. His feet slid into the snake's mouth and they closed their jaw with a snap around his knees, warm saliva oozed around the snake's lips and dark orange eyes glowed malevolently up at him.

"It's you," Sefra gasped, squirming back and forth, trying to pull his legs free, "The tiger from the start, what are you doing, stop, we have to work together, I can... oh gods..." the rabbit cut off with a whimper as the snake's throat twitched and tugged and he slurped his legs down into its scaled maw with a long, powerful slurping motion.

Grabbing the snake's muzzle Sefra tried to pry his lips open but the serpent just hissed deeply, a wet rumble about his thighs as he pulled Sefra inside. Forced to lay backwards as his hips were devoured Sefra squealed and thrashed from side to side as the snake kept sucking. Warm dry lips gliding up over his stomach, transitioning his body from dry stone to saliva soaked warmth until those burning orange eyes loomed back into view as the snake reached his chest.

"Please stop, I... ooooooh," Sefra's plea died as the snake shifted it's coiled body and the slick tube he was trapped in ground against his traitorously bulging groin. The snake emitted that deep hissing purr again and slurped the rest of Sefra up. He had one last view of the outside world then his head was pulled through the snake's lips, gas mask and all, tucked away and sucked by peristaltic motions and rippling flesh deep into the snake's body. Panting heavily, cool air from his tank at odds with the hot warmth coating his body Sefra ran a hand down his body and gripped his shorts.

It was hard to move, gooey flesh oozed all around him, pressing and holding him, grinding against his body from all sides. There was just enough give for him to arch backwards and get a paw around his cock. His shorts had come loose and Sefra squirmed back and forth until he was free of them and his paw could work over his cock. He was so hard it was unbelievably hot, he had been swallowed whole, reduced to nothing more than a snake bulge and he wanted to cum so much. Panting heavily, head back, cool air still playing counterpoint to the slime covering him Sefra pumped his hand up and down the length of his cock and opened his eyes.

Silver light filled the snake, his tattoos were glowing, of course he could reset, get out of this... moaning Sefra moved his paw faster, one hand sliding around to slip goo soaked fingers up his tailhole as his balls churned and his shaft twitched. Silver light cocooned Sefra as he splashed thick jets of seed across his stomach as riding the bliss of orgasm Sefra tripped the magic in his tattoos and took himself and the others backwards in time.
