Settling in

Alesta Slowly awoke and yawned smiling as she stretched and rubbed her body. She giggled as she came across a vine on her thigh under the blanket. She looked over to the plant which had grown its tasty fruit. She reached over and picked the fruit, berries on this particular plant and slipped a few between her lips. They were tasty and juicy and as she went to get up the plant disagreed. Alesta gasped and moaned as the large vine on her thigh decided it was hungry again. The plants soft inner vine slid into her suddenly as the smaller ends rubbed her lips. Her back arched as the plant worked its magic causing her to spread her legs wide while her tail swished violently. Most thought the plants were mindless sex machines but they had an invested interest in keeping their prey happy. The plant must have sensed her sadness from thinking about her lovers departure and how lonely she was lately for another. Alesta moaned loudly and rolled onto her back arching it as the plant thrust firmly into her intentionally pushing into her g spot. The dragoness cried out and came hard as the small vines around the large one continued to rub just inside her to continue the stimulation.

Alesta fell back flat on the bed panting hard as the plant cleaned her. She looked to the clock and cursed as she realized she was late to meet her new partner at the space dock. She slowly got out of the bed a bit tired but energetic in spirit at meeting her new partner. The plant slid its vines around her gently but one by one she moved them to the plants pot. The plant was not particularly hungry it simply liked giving attention to its seed keeper. Alesta always thought of the plants as a close pet, they sure acted like them and required much the same attention. Alesta moved the hover dolly back into the closet and closed it the plant going dormant out of the light. She put on a robe and walked out locking her door. As she walked down the corridor she hoped that her new partner would be quick to settle in so they could possibly get to know each other. As she got to the end of the corridor it opened up into an open area where many small luggage cars moved down different tunnels. She waited for one to stop at the platform she stood at and when it did sat down relaxing.

Alesta let her thoughts overtake her, it was calm and relaxing but she did wonder how someone of Holis's skills and decorated carrier would end up a feeder on a far outward post like hers. It's not that her job wasn't important or that the station was a horrible assignment, in fact for anyone who truly understood what it entailed it was practically heaven but he just didn't fit the profile of a normal feeder. Especially considering his skill and experience in other fields that had nothing to do with life support or agriculture.

Alesta smiled as the tram pulled into the space dock area and she saw the waiting area light on. She stepped off the shuttle and stretched fixing her robe and blushing a bit as she realized just how inappropriate the robe probably would seem. The station was informal and no one really cared but she hoped it put off a good impression. After making sure she was well covered she walked through the door into the offloading area for passengers.

She looked around to see only a couple people in the seats one of which was her new partner he was asleep in the chair. She cursed herself for that, She was well over an hour late and considering how long the trip was he probably fell asleep waiting for her. She walked closer, he was very handsome, his fur was well groomed, his musculature was impressive and he looked like he exercised a bit. She took a deep whiff and smiled at his strong but not offensive musk, in fact she thought it was rather appealing. His breathing was heavy, it didn't appear whatever dream he was having was a happy one.

Holis yawned as he watched through the window as the ship pulled into the station. It had been a long journey to the remote station and he was looking forward to a hot shower and a good nights rest. He got up as the docking signs lit up and opened the compartment with his luggage and slowly hefted the bag out. It didn't take long to get off the ship and walk into the spaceport and he watched as one by one the passengers found people waiting for them and walked off. He checked the clock and found the ship was in early by about half an hour. After a little bit of sitting there only a few passengers were left. Most of them were probably only stepping off to get a breather before the ship continued to its next stop.

Holis began to feel the trip catching up to him and soon fell into slumber in the comfortable chair. He felt himself slip out of consciousness and then slowly into darkness. He awoke to a siren going off.

He ran to a console and started looking at reactor readings. The main fusion power plant was about to bust through the containment field. He started diligently recalibrating the field as he called out to another engineer to call for a full alert and evacuation of the plant and the surrounding area. He opened an uplink to one of the stations in orbit overhead and started to build up the field generators for a radiation shield. A pipe exploded nearby and a loud siren went off. Holis cried out in pain as steam hit him in the back. He hit the temporary backups as he heard a cry for help behind him.

Holis turned to see what the noise was and a sudden pain shot through his chest, he looked down to see a shard of metal in his chest and blood flowing freely. He dropped to his knees and looked forward again his strength leaving him as he saw his sister under a beam that had fallen across the room. Suddenly there were two others wolves coming to his aid, he told them to save her but the wolves said they couldn't move the beam and they had no time. He screamed as they started to drag him away he screamed for them to help her.

Holis suddenly awoke and screamed out his sisters name standing up and knocking down Alesta in the process. Alesta fell back from her kneeling position landing flat on her back. The bottom of her robe opened revealing her slit and tight pucker between her spread legs. Holis held his head for a moment trying to get his bearings and when he did looked down to see the person he knocked down, he was about to apologize when he blushed and stared at the beautiful dragoness on the floor spread out in front of him. After a few moments he looked away realizing what he was looking at so intently.

Alesta had been stunned by the hit, it didn't hurt but it had knocked the wind out of her. She looked up when she heard the stallions voice and saw him staring and then look away. She looked down and gasped blushing profusely as she covered herself and quickly stood up.

Holis stayed looking away, "I'm really sorry miss I really didn't mean anything, I hope I didn't hurt you."

Alesta gave out a bit of a cough, "not at all I mean it was my fault I was close to you and went to wake you but you caught me by surprise," Alesta smiled as she regained some of her composure, "Ok lets start with introductions, I am Alesta Swiftwing, and I believe your Holis Mortanian correct?"

Holis turned surprised, "Um yes its very nice to meet you," Holis replied a bit confused, "but um how did you know my name?"

"well I am the person who was supposed to be here a while ago to pick you up I want to apologize I was detained unavoidably but if your ready lets go to our room assignment."

Holis missed what she said the image of her naked before him still running in his mind as well as just waking up out of a nightmare. They waited a few at the platform for another ride to stop. Holis was looking forward at the traffic deep in thought still but Alesta was busy looking at her new roommate. He was tall maybe a little over eight feet. He was very well built but not grossly muscular. His musk was very appealing and his tail looked very soft. As a cart stopped she looked away realizing she had been staring the whole time at the handsome stallion.

As they strapped in and the cart started moving again Alesta broke the ice, "So Holis why did you choose an assignment in this area you're a bit high grade for this line of work."

Holis smiled, "well thanks but after my last assignment I don't want to work on large scale reactors anymore. It brings back unpleasant memories, I didn't actually choose the assignment though I can only figure the company wants to ease me back into things. Its been a pretty long time since I worked on a reactor this small though."

Alesta smiled, "well you won't need to be doing that kind of thing I'm sure you'll pick up on the job pretty quick."

Holis thought the response was odd, "Well don't worry about me I'll have your reactor back up and running in a week at worst and then I guess they'll send me somewhere else."

Alesta looked confused now, "Umm Holis you aren't assigned to the engineering section your assigned as the new feeder in my section."

Holis looked shocked, "I'm assigned to what? I'm an engineer not an agriculturalist! What the hell is a feeder?"

Alesta started laughing in shock and humor, "No one told you?"

Holis shook his head, "That explains why the order officer was laughing when I left, I didn't even open the envelope."

Alesta smiled as they pulled into the platform ring and got up, "I'll tell you what Holis lets get you into a room and I'll explain what we do and then we can talk to the base executive about what happened if your really unhappy, ok?"

Holis huffed and smiled softly, "thank you Alesta, so tell me where am I staying?"

"We live jus down the hall," she was cut off.

"But I'm a guy and you're a woman." Holis stated surprised.

"We are room mates you have your own bedroom, but we share the rest of the apartment," Alesta said, "Feeders are one of the only job groups that are setup as male female housing for reasons you'll understand soon."
