Chapter 11 How Soto survived.
Back to our Sub hero's cave
As the stare off went on between the 2 Sabres, Manny and Sid, as the rest of the pack and Shadow and Alex looked on in pure confusement. Who was this Soto and was he a danger to everyone,and was there more than one Sabre than the one that had appear in front of them.
†Why what a warm welcome brother, ant you going to give your older brother a hug. †Soto said cockily to his younger brother.
†Cut the bull and tell me how you survived, and why are you here .†Diego snared, baring his large sabres at Soto.
Soto just smirk at his younger brother yawing ,showing his much larger sabre teeth compare to Diego ones. Which made Sid whimper hiding behind one of Manny back legs, which got a roll of the eyes from Manny. Soto then listen at what Diego was talking about, his large round like scar on his muscle golden chest.
†Temper temper bro I tell you ,but you have to promise that I can stay here for the night. †Soto asked him , while looking at the strange pack.
Before Diego was going to say no ,Ellie walk up to him with Peaches holding on to her mother tail .
â€Sure.†Ellie said smiling, nodding her head which got a shock look on all 3 of the other males.
†What .†Sid , Diego and Manny yelled in surprised at Ellie, which got a confused look from her,even her bothers were surprised by it as well.
†Ellie are you sure Sis .†said Crash worried, as he jump on to his sis head looking at her.
†Yes im sure if Diego could change, im sure his brother could as well.†Ellie said smiling to her brother taping him on his head.
Soto just smiled at the female mammoth ,but he was a bit confused at the small Possum around her calling each other brother and sis. It was as strange as the pack his brother was in , Soto then saw a large male bull walk straight over to him . Glaring sending chill down Soto remembering he was the one that flung him into the ice which , got him pieced by a icicle.
†Listen cat if you stay here and you even look at Ellie or peaches as food, you being getting another 2 more holes in you got that .†Manny threaten Soto.
Soto just nod his head in agreement watching them all get comthy,as Soto begin how he survived .
Soto Flashback
Soto had his eyes closed as he played dead, his father had told them to play it when they were injured so it be more safer if they got into sabre fights. Soto could fill ,blood oozing from were the ice was piecing into his chest making it hard to breath at all. But he was alive still well for know, but he knew he had to get treatment soon. He knew that he would be dead for sure, after 5 mints Diego got up and walk over to Soto sniffing at him. Soto didn't move to make sure Diego didn't finished him off.
Soto then felt Diego, limp off after while Soto open his eyes grunting in pain. Soto got up panting hard as he look at the now deep red ice spike,his golden fur had gone dried red on his orange fur. Soto open his jaw around the ice as he pulled out the ice out of him but with a yelp of pure pain. Soto panted as he licked the blood to clean the wound ,as he then wobbly got up. Step by step Soto was losing blood by the second, his vision,was getting blurry as he then thought he saw a female something before he collapse from the lack of blood.
After 3 hrs Soto then woke up, he thought he was dead,because he was in a dark cave. Looking around to find out were he was.
†I see you awake that good.†said a female voice .
†Huh what who are you.†asked Soto confused.
A female Sabre tigress walked into view but unlike Soto golden fur ,her fur was pure black and her sabre were half the size of Soto's ones. Also she was medium size for a tigress and had red blood eyes.
†My name is Nightshade and I saved you from death. †Nightshade purred Ponting a claw at the leave that was over Soto wound,to stop the blood.
†Thanks but why.†Soto asked confused.
†Well you a cat and let say I could use you for something †Nightshade said purring. , as she walk over to him ,whispering making Soto blushed..
End Soto Flashback
†Soto, it is ok to come out †A female voice said from the shadow.
Soto nod his head ,as that a female black Tigress came out with two cubs a female and boy. The boy looked like her mum and girl looked like her dad.
†Well bro meat your nephews. †Soto said proudly.

Chapter 12 The new side of Soto.
Nightshade purred as she was walking over to Soto,and then she put her head under his chin as she nuzzled him with love as Soto return the love to her. As the 2 love cats were showing love for each other , there little cubs were exploring the large cave around them. They had kept far away from Diego ,because of they didn't know him and were still scared of larger cats. As this was going on below him Diego was still taking this all in, Soto was alive and know he had a mate and cubs. Also Diego felt envy on his brother , for having what he wanted but didn't have ,but would never ever show it on his face.
†So were the rest of your clan bro .†Diego asked his brother knowing that , the other 3 male Tigers were still alive and could be hiding somewhere
Soto sighed knowing this would come back to bite him in the rump, he had told Nightshade about his past. She was the one who made him change his ways of thinking and not to hate humans for what they do, because it is the same as what we do. Even though when his ex buddies came looking for him and asking him, to join them to get rid of his brother and the herd and humans. When he refused to help them they than attacked him ,luckily for him Nightshade was close by and together they were able to fight them of.
†On the hunt for us because I refused to rejoin them and help them.†Soto replied to his brother knowing ,he wouldn't believe him but hope he would.
†How do I know your telling the truth bro,i know your ways or lying so you could be lying know .†Diego said bit rude to his brother.
Soto put his head down in shame, knowing his past was the reason for it. As Nightshade look on at her mate she was sad ,but she was going to stick up for her mate.
†Mr Diego ,your bother my mate has change his ways ,I wouldn't put my cubs in danger of meeting you if he wasn't.†Nightshade spoke up her voice to him.
Manny had then walk over to the group of Sabres, Manny was looking at Soto straight in to his eyes and then at Nightshade. When he look at her he could she into her soul, and knew she was telling the truth.
†You can Stay but if your try pulling anything, you be out he as quick as you came got it. †Manny said with a theating tone in his voice.
Both Nightshade and Soto nod the heads in agreement. Diego said nothing because he knew what Manny says goes ,unless Ellie but her 2 cents into it. Though Diego would keep and eye on his brother while he stayed with them, knowing he still didn't trust his brother one bit at all.
†Love were did the cubs go to. †Nightshade asked Soto, as she was looking full the 2 full of energy cubs that were by her a few sec ago.
As they looked around the cave their eyes stop at the funny and cute sight in front of them. The small female cub was resting on her back in the lap of Alex,and was purring as she got a nice belly rub from the human. The bigger cub out of the 2 the male one was play fighting ,with Shadow but at the moment Shadow was winning. Shadow had been on top of the Tiger cub, nipping on his small furry golden ears, as the little cub was trying to hit him with his small paws.
Nightshade chuckled as she travel over to them, but she then stop when she saw the fright in Alex eyes,knowing that she was scarred of her. So Nightshade decide to make up a plan to make sure she was friendly to her.
†Don't worry little one, Im not going to hurt you .†Nightshade purred kindly to Alex.
Alex said nothing as she was still scared of her, Nightshade then let her mother instinct kick in. Nightshade the walk behind Alex and started to clean her like she did with her cubs, Alex giggled a bit but started to relax and back into Nightshade embrace as she soon fell a sleep. After soon after that her little small female cub had let out a cubby yawn before joining the human in dreamland, while Shadow and the boy cub kept playing together.
Soto smiled seeing the cute sight in front of him, Nightshade remember him of his and Diego mum. She was the most caring Tigress he had ever known and always look after everyone. An Nightshade was the same caring kind Tigress like his mum and was very lucky to be her mate and lover.
Though Soto spotted Diego was looking at the human with a look and Soto knew that look , what he had with Nightshade. Diego then look and his brother giving him a look before turning back saying nothing
†I know you secret bro.†Soto chuckled to himself ,as he looked on.
