Commission for selenesiegel of DA who requested a man turn his best friend Danny into a Gardevoir. Initially, there was going to be MC, but I couldn't find a way to make it feel "happy" which was my vision when writing this and now we have what is above.

Tom and Danny were both best friends to each other and aspiring Pokemon trainers to be. They were both getting into the "game" rather late, meaning they were well past their childhood years in their twenties. Most pokemon trainers started their adventures when in their pre-teen-teen years or if they didn't generally stayed home and more often than not had pokemon for a pet.

Tom and Danny weren't like the others. They had set out ready to officially start their Pokemon journey but would run into more trouble than expected. They dropped everything in order to pursue the dream. The duo dreamed of traveling to different regions, seeing and catching all kinds of pokemon, earning gym badges, the whole trainer experience. There was just one problem.

They could not find their footing. Due to lack of real planning, they found themselves with very little money and could only afford food and shelter. With no Pokemon to battle with, they had no way to earn more money either, stuck in a kind of loop. They couldn't get their journey off the ground, and had gone deep enough to where they refused to back down.

The duo's adventures would take them to many towns in many regions, their latest venture would have them end up in Hoenn. Tom and Danny found their way into Mauville City, the very downtown-esc city. They hoped they could find some kind of miracle that would enable them to officially start their journey. Mauville was a rather large town with various businesses that could help them out.

However, what they found inside the town wasn't a business, it was a tossed out item. Simply just lying against a wall was a discarded Mega Bracelet. No one was around it, not to mention it was near a trash can and by judging how much trash was inside, the bracelet had fallen out of it. Tom was rather interested in it but Danny showed less interest.

"Wonder why someone threw that away." Danny shrugged. "Going to go find a bathroom, I'll met you back here." he added as he left.

Meanwhile, Tom looked down at the Mega Bracelet and picked it up and noticed a note tucked away in the corner next to it. Curious, Tom picked the note up and read it. The words on the paper made the Mega Bracelet much more interesting. If what the paper said was true, it was an altered one that would transform whoever was in front of it into a Pokemon. It sounded like something out of a fan fiction, but if Tom were to turn Danny into one, they could truly start their adventure. Sure, it wasn't the way they intended for it to go down but they'd be able to actually start it. Plus if Danny was to be a Pokemon he wouldn't be treated any differently, he'd still be Danny.

The only issue was convincing Danny, but luckily for Tom he could be a bit devious and could fake accidentally doing it. Then again, Danny was his friend, and turning him into a Pokemon could drastically change their relationship, especially if he couldn't talk anymore. Tom looked down at the bracelet and noticed that there was a "mega stone" inside already, a gardevoirite. Perhaps that would make him a Gardevoir? There was only going to be one way to find out as Danny made his way back from the bathroom.

"Hey, Danny. We both really want to do this Pokemon Trainer thing right?" Tom asked to him.

"Yeah, of course!" he responded happily. "Anything to battle! Seems so fun!"

"Well...I think I have a solution, but you'll have to promise me you really mean anything to battle...maybe quite literally."

"Not sure what that means but okay..." Danny raised his eyebrow as Tom brought his wrist up, hitting the button emitting a spray that soon covered Danny's whole body. Underneath the smoke Danny was going through a rather large change.

Danny's legs and arms both turned from their natural skin color to a light green, his hair going out into bangs that would cover up his left eye, pointing outward at his shoulders. His face turned white as the structure changed, the white part of his head reassembling a masquerade mask. Danny's eyes turned red white the lump in his throat known as an adam's apple shrank away into nothingness.

Danny's changes kept going has his body thinned out immensely. His arms became flatter almost like grass as he lost digits on his fingers. At Danny's chest, a red pedal formed in the center of it, green forming under his arms and across his chest, connecting in a "U" shape while what seemed like a white gown formed with green on the inside. Danny felt his chest push out ever so slightly, and with a burning sensation at Danny' crotch confirmed a forced change in gender. Lastly, underneath the "gown," Danny's legs slendered out and hips turned shapely.

The smoke cleared up and where the human boy Danny once stood was now a female Gardevoir. She looked down at her body with a harsh blush, exploring both her new Pokemon parts and female ones. She looked back up to Tom who looked over the new Gardevoir with jaw wide open.

"It actually worked..." he said quietly.

"You tuned me into a Pokemon girl?" Danny said back, though never opening his mouth.

"How are you talking to me? Pokemon don't talk!"

"I'm a psychic pokemon. A FEMALE psychic pokemon. How is this even possible! This only happens in those Mystery Dungeon myths!"

"The bracelets apparently turns people into Pokemon and you said you'd do anything to battle and now you get to be in battles! Please don't be mad..."

"I'm gonna need some time to get adjusted to well...being a Pokemon, a girl Pokemon at that." Danny paused for a moment. "But, I don't want our adventure to end. Now that "we" technically have a Pokemon we can actually start. At least I'm a Gardevoir and not a Ralts, we could skip some training than we would normally of had to do." she added with a small chuckle.

Hearing that put a smile on Tom's face, glad that his friend wasn't too upset at him. "Let's get a hotel room here then, the outskirts are a good way to train! Lots of weaker Pokemon to practice on!"
