I honestly thought I had done one with a raccoon before but nope! It had been a while since I did a "traditional" Patricia's story with a guest writer and all and it was quite fun to get back into it!

Dan looked up to see the strange new store, he'd never seen it before in his local shopping center and was curious to explore it. He walked through the doors, curious to see what was inside. The store was aligned with various colorful liquids in bottles and beakers, all rather bright. However, there was no sign of anyone there.

"Hello?" Dan called out, wondering if anyone was actually inside the store or if he was alone. "Hope I haven't just barged into a closed shop..." he said to himself.

"I'll be out in just a moment!" a woman's voice called from the back of the store. "I got locked in my apron...and just-GAH!" she let out a small scream. "I'm okay!"

"Ah good" Dan said to himself again. "Are you sure you're alright?" he called back to the voice. "That was a bit of a scream."

"Well I mean, I'm not alright, just okay." she responded back. "Let me go out there so we can stop yelling!" the woman added before stepping into vision, a pink humanoid weasel woman standing there.

"Is she... a weasel?" Dan thought to himself, confused but curious. "Well at least you're okay, being okay is better than not being alright and not okay, right?" he said, realizing as he spoke that he was talking nonsense in his surprise at the weasel woman's appearance.

"I would rank being okay less than alright but clearly better than not okay." she responded. "Good is like the best because you know, it's good."

"Yeah, that's true." he replied "But wouldn't best be the best, rather than good being the best for being good?" Dan cut out the rambling, he thought to himself.

"I mean you could but nothing can truly be the best because then someone else would be the best at some point and then you'd never be the best. But you can always be a good, that's what I always say!"

"That's a nice message, must be quite difficult to repeat it a lot!" Dan responded. Suddenly his curiosity seemed to take over and drove his speech "So are... are you actually an anthro?"

"Are you actually a human?" she retorted back rather nonchalantly.

"Sorry." he replied quite slowly. "My curiousity just got the best of me, I've never seen an anthro before, at least not a real life one at least."

"And I've never seen a human before except for the humans I do see." she replied back. "It's a crazy cycle."

"Yeah, it is..." he replied, feeling a bit awkward for asking in the first place. "So what are you doing in the shopping centre then? I mean, like, what's your shop all about? I kinda just walked in out of interest for the name and shop design"

"It's a potion shop, I sell potions of the transformative nature here!" she said proudly. "Patricia by the way. Name of the shop not me, well also me."

"Nice to meet ya Patricia, I'm Dan. So transformative nature...? Not sure what that means sorry... it is like, potions to make people feel different around themselves, like to encourage confidence or something?"

"No, like transformation. Drink a little thingy and become something else. The usual stuff." she responded.

"Oh okay, that's... that's really interesting. I didn't know that was even possibe!" Dan replied, his curiosity in the store growing further.

"Everything is possible if you do it." She said back. "Except be a likeable lawyer. I hate lawyers." She added on.

"Well that's definately true... the everything is possible part, for certain. So what can they transform someone into? And how much are they?"

"They start at $10 for an hour and go up to $50 for permanent." She responded. "They can change genders, species, age in some cases."

"Wow, cool." Dan said, completely intrigued and excited at what Patricia had just said. "Let me." Dan put his hand to his pocket and pulled out his wallet and opened it with a click. He examined the contents; $80 in notes were placed in the wallet. "Well I have at least $50... might not be a great idea to go permanent straight away, no matter how cool it sounds... how about a week potion? That should be long enough to test it right?"

"A week long potion would cost $30." She responded. "And probably, I dunno how long tests go. I just know they are a thing people should probably do."

"Okay, that sounds good, then there's $50 left over for in a week's time if I want to go permanent... Okay, sounds cool. Now for the transformation itself... any species recommendations? Like be your favorite animal or something?"

"My favorite animals are ant-eaters, but I also don't know how to do that one yet." she responded. "I tried putting ants in there but it just made people ants. So maybe...raccoon?"

"Well hopefully they took that well." he laughed. "Raccoons... yeah, they have nice markings and they look kinda cute, yeah, let's go for a raccoon potion! And... well, I've always been curious what it's like to be a woman and I'll never get another opportunity like this... so maybe make that a female raccoon potion?"

"Female raccoon coming up." she said taking the payment from Dan, stuffing it into her bra before going into the back yet again.

Dan watched her leave the room, excited to see if the potion could really make him a raccoon woman. "So how long have you been making these potions? Seems like you must have a real talent for it!"

"I don't remember. I just started one day and it's like I never didn't know how to them." she responded. "Kinda like riding a tricycle. You can't forget."

"Cool, sounds like a natural talent." he replied. He looked around the shop as he waited for Patricia as she worked. "And how long has this place been up and running? Never seen it before and I come here every now and then."

"About a few months now." she responded. "People like transformation apparently so it runs pretty smoothly."

"Why wouldn't they? I can gurantee you I would have been a first customer if I'd seen it earlier." he replied as he continued to look around the store, resisting the temptation to examine any potions on display.

She soon comes back out with a cup in her hand. "Here we are! Female raccoon is just a sip away! Well, drink. However fast you drink it determines how fast the transformation goes."

"Thanks." Dan replied, taking the cup. "Well I kinda want to experience this and take it all in, I guess slower is the way to go."

Dan raises the cup slowly. "Well... see ya on the other side I guess." he said with a chuckle. He took a first sip of the cup and instantly felt the potion's effect, as his whole body started to tingle with the feeling of change, like electricity passing through him.

Dan's face began to sprout mostly grey fur while black fur grew in a pattern reassembling a mask. His face pushed outward into a muzzle while his ears became triangular, moving to the top of his head. Dan looks down slightly to see his new grey muzzle in front of him, now directly in his eye line.

"Wow, it works fast!" he exclaimed, taking another sip of the cup, swallowing more than the first time. The changes kept going, his hair growing down to his back, facial features becoming softer. Dan's shoulders lost their broadness while his arms became thin and slender.

"This is so strange... but so cool at the same time!"

"That's what I hear." she nodded. "Probably anyways. I wouldn't know. Actually I would know and the answer is yes."

"I wanted to experience it slowly but you know, what the heck! I can't wait!" he exclaimed with excitement, throwing back the cup and swallowing the remaining contents of the cup, until he swallowed the last drop. He lowered the cup again, feeling the sensation of transformation starting again, stronger than before.

As he did so, Dan's changes went much faster. At his chest, two mounds of flesh formed while his figure took on an hourglass shape. His hips and rear both expanded out while a bushy ringtail formed from behind him. Dan's manhood slipped away to be replaced while his, now her legs took on a shapely tone. Lastly, her feet became paws and posture became digitigrade making her a full raccoon woman.

Dan looked down at her new body with pure excitement and surprise. "It - it worked!" she exclaimed in a much higher more feminine voice, surprising herself. "This is so amazing!" she said again, looking down at herself, examining her new body and looking at her new hand paws.

"Yeah, I usually do make it work." Patricia responded with a small giggle. "People usually like it to, probably anyways."

"Yeah... definitely..." the new female raccoon replied, not completely listening to what she was hearing, now completely focused on feeling and hugging her new ringtail. "Patricia, thanks so much, this is amazing!"

"I try. And by try I mean do because I did it!" she responded back.

Dan turned to her, a large smile across her new muzzle. "Seriously, thanks, this is so cool. It'll take some time to get use to but I love this already, I've decided I prefer my voice this way already." she laughed. "I guess I better re-introduced myself as Dani then, seems only fitting with the new gender and all"

"Whatever name you want. Could be Phil! I've never met a Phil before. Especially a girl name Phil. Anyways hello Dani!"

"Hello Patricia!" she replied, still smiling away. "I wonder how my family are going to react to this... I usually visit them on Saturday evenings so that will be a funny conversation!"

"It would be quite the interesting I'd imagine, not that I would know." she responded back with a small chuckle.

"Yeah - hi mum, hi dad, yeah, your son might have turned himself into a raccoon woman! They'll take it well hopefully and they like animals, they'll be fine with it." Dani laughed. She looked down at her old outfit, torn and damaged by her new fur and her new female body. "I guess I better get this all sorted too, there's a clothing store just down the corrdior right?"

"Yeah, there's clothing stores all over the place. They're kinda used to this kind of thing by now. I hope they are anyways..." she responded.

Dani chuckled again. "I guess they must be, I bet I'm not the first one to walk in here a guy and walk out a woman."

"Nope!" she laughed a bit. "It's actually a lot more common than you'd expect."

"Really? Well what ya know, I guess a lot of people jumped at the opportunity too!" she replied. "So clothes shopping, the first thing on the to-do list for the week. I can't wait to enjoy this week!"

"Here goes to enjoying the week I suppose!" Patricia responded with a genuine smile.

Thanks Patricia." said Dani, smiling back at the pink weasel. "I suppose I'll see you in a week for a pernament potion, we'll have to see." she laughed. The female raccoon waved her goodbye, turned to the door and left the shop, ready to learn what the next week would hold for her.
