***Part 8 < Current chapter > Part 10***

Description: Vrelgor's time in captivity is about to get much worse.

***

Vrelgor coiled around himself, pushing his nose against the soft entrance of his slit, covering himself with a wing. The scent of his own musk soothed him. He hated the slime under his paws. It was sticky, foul, and it only took one shiver, one jerk of a limb to spread it everywhere.

Vrelgor liked to keep to himself. Just cover his head under a wing. Forget everything. The only disadvantage was the warm shiver that crept its way between his scaly lips. Every time he breathed out, his slit trembled with rising desire, yet right now he was not in the mood to spill anything but his anger at the situation he found himself in.

Dahrzin was silent. The kobold probably fell asleep for all he knew. Or maybe he was thinking of a way out. Either way, he said nothing.

So Vrelgor focused on his breath, living between the veil of dreams and reality until the clacking of claws entered his ears.

"Dragon."

Something nudged him rather insistently.

"Get this wing out, then get up."

"Grrr..." the blue dragon rumbled softly.

"He's here. RuSturak is here. Get that big head off your slit you stupid scale-head!"

Vrelgor whipped his tail around, cutting the kobold's legs from under him. Dahrzin muttered a few angry squeaks, but Vrelgor quickly pushed his snout against his chest, licking the disgusting slime off.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me."

The kobold pushed hard against his snout. "Put that back. You'll clean me after we talk."

"But I just-"

"I know, you big scaly oaf. I would have done the same, but we don't have time for this right now. I think..." Dahrzin lowered his voice. "I think they got to RuSturak before we did."

"What do you mean?"

"The way he walks...he's thinking, blue."

"So are we."

Dahrzin shook his head. "That is exactly the problem. RuSturak never thinks. He acts. The sorceress must have placed an enhancement on him to hear everything we speak. That, or...or..."

It was too late. The bronze dragon was already upon them. "I expected a warmer greeting, but now that I see your accommodation, I feel positively amazed how you aren't roaring your throats out," RuSturak said, placing his snout against the cold metal. "How are you handling yourselves?"

"As good as we can," Vrelgor said. He wanted to say more, yet the insistent tug on his wing did not fill him with confidence.

"What's wrong with Dahrzin? Stepped on his tail?"

"I took his favorite space," Vrelgor tried his best not to trip the kobold a second time. "Why are you here, RuSturak?"

"To tell you about the tight depths of the first female gryphon I took, to delight you with sticky tales of heated debauchery...among other things, of course," the bronze dragon licked his snout. "I wanted to inquire about you earlier but the Herald told me you were occupied. Guess he omitted the part where he threw you in this human sized dungeon."

"She did this, RuSturak. She. The sorceress that hasn't stopped filling our heads with betrayal ever since we met," Vrelgor approached. "Dahrzin thinks she's spying on us right now."

"Nonsese," RuSturak growled. "I was not followed by anyone. The Herald himself sent me here."

"She's the herald's right hand for all we know!" Vrelgor hissed.

"Not something new to me," RuSturak cocked his head. "This Kshara or whatever she's called is one to be avoided, not ignored. She is not as patient as the Herald."

Vrelgor growled softly. He was wrong. They both were. There was honesty in RuSturak's eyes, and he knew beyond the shade of a doubt his friend would do anything he could to help them.

"Haven't you spoke to him about letting us go? We made our stance known. Why are they holding us here?"

"Because we are still of moderate interest to them. Your brother-"

"He's not my brother!" Vrelgor suddenly hissed.

"He was last time he got under my tail."

"Akash danok!" Dahrzin bounded towards the bars, then threw a finger right between the bronze's wide nostrils. "He entertained that witch's proposal several times. Why do you think he was sent here? He wants us to relent!"

"I thought about it, but I never-"

Dahrzin slapped the dragon shut right between the bars. "I can read dragons as good as humans, friend. Why, I spent almost half my life among them."

"And yet you learned nothing but hatred and spite," RuSturak drew his head back, blinking his verdant eyes. "The Herald is right. There is a better future awaiting our races, and it can only be achieved if we work together. We all judge the humans based on their actions, but have you ever thought about the consequences of our own choices? Dragons who raid entire villages, hunt humans for the thrill of it, or provoke their empire into another war?" RuSturak let loose a long hissing sound.

"No, of course not. Not when his brother happens to be the biggest threat west of the city's borders."

Vrelgor's whole form tensed under the ripple of the cold shiver traversing his body. Those couldn't be the words of his friend. RuSturak was kind, selfless. He risked his own wing and gave up his territory to tame Krelgor's wrath, and now he thought about betraying him?

"He got to you, hasn't he?" Dahrzin said. "These are his words. Not your own."

"I speak reason!" The bronze dragon snarled. "What options do we have? If we fly back to my territory we can deal with this situation in our own way. We set the terms and pace of this...whatever this is, but if we turn this Herald down, he is going to send an entire squad after that dragon. Is that a more suitable option for you, Dahrzin? Do you want to have your brother killed instead of captured, Vrelgor?"

"I will see myself in chains before I turn against my own kin," Dahrzin said.

Vrelgor nuzzled the kobold, then looked at RuSturak. "The Herald seems wise, but he gave us no reason to trust him. He speaks of peace, yet his assistant throws us in a dungeon first chance she gets. You cannot honestly think he means everything he says. Humans cannot be trusted!"

"The fact that we are not dead should be reason enough," RuSturak growled.

"I will not be part of this," Dahrzin turned around. "Go back to your human. Aid him. Turn against your own kin, and maybe he will find another sloppy cunt to sheathe your great cock into."

"That is not what I want!" RuSturak hissed. "Do you know what the humans plan for you? They want you to bleed in their arenas or wither in their dungeons! That is the only choice you will be given. Picking the spot and the moment to die!"

"Not unless you aid us," Vrelgor said with determination. "You are still free. Perhaps there is a way to...to..."

"If there was, I would have known it by now," the bronze dragon dipped his head in shame. "I will try to bend his ears, but...they lost a lot of men, my blue. I am afraid your brother's fury burned away his chance at redemption. They will send their gryphon riders to hunt him down, and when they find him, you will look back upon this moment and reflect on the choices you made."

"Choices?" Dahrzin said, fury smoldering into the depths of his throat. "You dare speak about choices to us when you chose your cock over our bond? You threw yourself into the Herald's clutches for nothing, and now...now you want us to do the same. Give our wings to him? Do what he says? Trust him?"

"Just...think how much good we can do if we find the blue's brother first."

"Traitor!" Dahrzin flapped his wings. "Betrayer of kin! Leave! There is nothing I want to say to you!"

"Takes one to know one," RuSturak hissed, then turned around and left.

Vrelgor listened to his claws until the clicking sound faded into nothingness. Then, he turned towards Dahrzin. The kobold sat cross legged, rubbing his claws together, shivering in the aftermath of the heated exchange.

"What...what did he mean by that?"

Dahrzin shook his head in disbelief. "She must have altered his thoughts. I have read about charms that can make even a dragon susceptive to influence. RuSturak would never turn against his own. Never."

"Dahrzin," Vrelgor nudged the kobold on the side. "What did he say? Have you...?

The kobold's gaze remained focus. Angry at something. Something that hurt him.

Something he did.

"No..." Vrelgor's limbs turned limp with weakness. "No no no, this...this can't be happening. It's a dream. I'm still dreaming somehow."

Dahrzin pushed a claw through the soft membrane, coaxing a growl out of the dragon's throat.

"Does that feel like a dream to you?"

"Grawwrr...I...I don't know!"

"Then put your head down, stop growling, and keep silent. I need focus. Need to understand what foul ideas infested my friend's scaly head."

That seemed a good plan. Vrelgor sat in the slime. He waited. And waited. Then waited some more. After a while everything started to annoy him. The way Dahrzin's tail twitched when he had an idea, or the way he clicked his claws together.

"Stop."

"I can't find it. I searched everywhere and I can't find anything to explain why, how, when the friend I knew for so many years entertained the idea of betraying his own kin."

"It's not betrayal," Vrelgor realized.

"What did you say?"

"Hear me out. Please."

"There is nothing to talk about. RuSturak turned."

"After less than a day of talking to a human? I can see why he believes aiding this Herald is the better choice. If we get to my brother, alone, without any humans escorting us, maybe we can-"

"Alone?" Dahrzin chuckled. "They caged us here. Does this dungeon express trust to you, dragon? Because I lived with humans long enough to get to know them. They're deceptive, selfish, a threat to everyone including themselves."

"Yet my brother ignited this conflict. He killed humans, not the other way around. After I left his cave with my scales torn, barely able to fly or walk, a group of humans ambushed me."

"And you survived..." Dahrzin's voice grew softer.

"They patched my wounds and pointed me to RuSturak's territory. If it weren't for them, my brother would still have his claws wrapped around me."

The kobold finally seemed to realize the severity of the situation. "So he is as bad as the humans make him out to be. Do you think your brother deserves to be punished?"

Vrelgor sighed. "He always sought to protect me by removing the threats surrounding us."

"And in doing so he created even more chaos. Not a smart dragon by any means, but still a dragon."

Vrelgor noticed the way Dahrzin's wings shuddered every time he thought of dragons.

"Has my brother done anything to you?"

"No. Why do you ask that? I may be a kobold, but we have the same scales covering our bodies, we fly with the same wings, perhaps even share the same blood."

"You seem so...protective of him."

"That's because dragons never enslaved or abused my trust. I came into conflicts with them a few times, but I always sought to solve them peacefully, without any bloodshed."

"Like you did with Night?"

Dahrzin looked the other way. "He was a different kind of dragon."

"But still a dragon going by your words."

"Blue, there is much you don't know about my past. Our pasts. RuSturak and I have known each other long before you hatched. We flew over the tallest mountains, hunted the most grizzled of beasts, discovered many pleasures together. Yet before that, he was an egg, and I was the snatcher that was going to sell him into slavery."

Dahrzin grabbed his own tail, rolling his hands along it as he immersed himself in his own story. "Our scouts were drawn to the roars of a newly mated pair. Two golden dragons breeding just outside a human village. The farmers had nothing but their tools and the will to survive, so I stole whatever I could from the caravans that traveled those roads. Yet there were others who stole faster and better than me. I had to make up for the deficit if I wanted to remain in the guild. Like those dirty, sweat dripping pink-skins, I had to force myself to survive. I tracked the dragons for half a moon, studying them, bidding my time for the perfect moment. One night, fortune smiled on me, and while their roars sailed along with the wind, carrying through the trees during a moonlit night, I flew up to their cave and stole half the nest along with their entire clutch."

"But your scent..."

"They mated all night. Even if they came after me, we were prepared, but the dragons blamed the villagers instead of the thieves. They burned every house, every animal, every human they could get their claws on, and the guild, doing what it does best, took advantage of the chaos. I was one of the twenty trappers sent after the dragons," Dahrzin's wings trembled. "I stole their clutch, their freedom, and later on, their lives."

"They died then..." Vrelgor shivered.

"Humans are capable of mercy, but when an entire village burns down, they become as ruthless as a dragon. The guild celebrated that day. Free drinks, more cunt and cock than a kobold could taste in ten days, and noise all around. It tore me to see how much joy they extracted from this...this loss of life, so I put my skills to use and found their stash. I could not steal all the eggs, but one from a pile of a dozen or so? When, and if they ever noticed, I could blame the wine or another guild mate. There is no honor among thieves, blue. When the opportunity arises, a thief does not think like a human. He acts."

"That egg-"

"I kept it safe for a few days, but I knew I couldn't raise it by myself without being discovered. Once again I had to bide my time until the next caravan run. We passed through a valley. Many mountains, lots of dragons nesting in those cliffs. I hid the egg inside a cave and made enough noise to draw a pair to it. A few days later, they came. Blue male, green female. RuSturak's future parents, kind dragons...the kind who loved their hatchling so much they threw him out of the nest as soon as he became fertile."

"You saw that?"

"I watched over him every time I had the chance. He was never just a friend to me, dragon, but a nest-mate. A brother that I watched and loved with everything that I had. I waited years, blue...whole years waiting for the proper moment to fly to him. When I finally amassed enough wealth to buy my way out of the guild, I flew back to my nest-mate and helped him during one of his hunts. We became friends very quickly. Even now I am surprised to think how eagerly RuSturak threw his cock into my hands. He always loved pleasure, this one."

"Does...does he know? Did you tell him?"

"Yes. After years of adventures I finally had the courage to speak about his real parents. Of how he was brought into this world. He never lashed back at me, growl, roar, or touch my scales with anything else but his tongue. In his mind, I saved him. He still hatched under a dragon's wing instead of the lifeless crafts of the humans. I often think back upon that moment. What if I turned upon the guild? I could have saved all those eggs, blue. RuSturak would have grown under the wings of his real parents. I should have risked my life to make that happen, but I was too weak and too afraid to-"

Dahrzin sniffled once. "Inopportune time to reflect upon the past, this. I should think of a way out, or at least something we can do after we get out of these walls. They will put us into a cart, tie us, then drag us to the Lake City where Akerion resides...if the man still lives, provided this Herald does not change his mind. There are as many scenarios as the scales covering you, blue. Think. We have to plan. Have to-"

The kobold's words stuck in his throat as Vrelgor pushed his snout against his belly, blowing a warm stream of air that rushed along his entire body.

"Back. Get back. This isn't a proper time for..."

Vrelgor dashed his tongue along the kobold's little form. No one could refuse a warm touch, not even one as determined as Dahrzin.

"That...that feels good...so good..."

Vrelgor pressed his snout against his, looking into his eyes. "We'll find a way out, little one."

"I hate when you scale-heads call me little," Dahrzin whispered, poking his own tongue out, unable to withstand a little bit of affection.

"It's not a bad thing." Vrelgor licked again, making the kobold shiver warmly at the wet touch. He bathed his jaw, his wings, his arms, coiling and squeezing around him. The kobold closed his eyes, humming softly. He became more relaxed, yet a part of him refused to release its tension.

Vrelgor pressed his tip against the protruding cock.

"N-no," the kobold's walls squelched, wet and eager. "Not now, dragon. This is the worst of times. It is...Naaarrrkkk..." Dahrzin threw his head back as more of his cock spilled forth to be washed and caressed by an able dragon's tongue.

Vrelgor lapped away at the sweet fluids oozing from his squelching lips, teased his hardened cock with long strokes of his tongue, and when the kobold grew to completion, he wrapped his whole meat within the coils of his tongue, watching him tremble, feeling him throb like a wild, aroused beast.

"Warrrrmmm," Dahrzin hugged the dragon's head, eyes squeezed with pure bliss.

His member pumped squirts of aqueous pre-seed, but not for long. Vrelgor pumped his tongue around his shaft like a female in need. For a male, there was no greater stimulation than to feel the embrace of his mate. To know that his fertile seed was desired. Craved for.

Vrelgor pressed hard against the kobold's slit, taking him inside his maw. His walls hardened. Harsh shivers rushed from the tips of his toes, all the way to the kobold's parting maw, spurting even harder than he yowled. A spear of salty seed rushed along Vrelgor's tightening tongue, dribbling into his slavering maw. The dragon sucked the kobold's essence, then squeezed him on and on, forcing him to unleash his heated bliss harder and faster.

Dahrzin thrust his hips forth, smacking his wet slit against the dragon's lips. Vrelgor suckled hungrily on the kobold's shaft, stealing every spurt, every drop of that precious essence he oozed through his bloating shaft.

After the kobold tapered off, Vrelgor cleaned his member to completion, then welcomed him under his wing where the two males hugged and licked each other to sleep.
