Trials of Love, the Frostclaw Chronicles Epilogue: The Right to be Queen

As the morning arrived, Sasha stretched as she looked at the big pegasus stallion laying near her, murring warmly before standing up as she was groaning softly from the new weight added to her body, mostly from a big load from said stallion, but also from yet another life being created within her. Her eyes adjusting to the light of the sun outside before she stumbled out of the bedroom and out into the hallway, a guard quickly saluting her, "Morning, your majesty!" Sasha looked at the guard and saluted back to be polite, "Morning, good guard. Just gonna have my breakfast." The guard looked at Sasha's big belly and before Sasha could even react, the guard asked, "Can I feel it, your highness?" Sasha gave the guard a look before just nodding, "Sure, but do not take too much time. I got to eat too." The guard just smiled before removing the metal gauntlet, slowly rubbing along Sasha's belly before sighing, "The miracle of life."

After the guard had finally let her go, Sasha walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge, grunting as she grabbed some leftovers from the feast. Chopping up the meat, vegetables and other things, she had soon made a soup before calling out, "Wake up everyone, it is breakfast time." Waiting for a good minute, she soon called out again, "Come on, I said it is breakfast time!" It was soon a reply from a very tired Jigo walking into the kitchen, wearing what seemed to be a pink dress and a pink sports top, making Sasha cover her maw to quickly cover up her giggles, much to the anger of the annoyed Jigo, "What are you laughing at?" It was then that Jae ran in wearing a black skirt and black fishnet top when he finally realized and looked down at his body. He had taken her clothes instead, "Ohhh, fuck you, sis!"

A quick exchange and a few minutes later, everyone had taken a seat around the tables in the grand hall to enjoy the warm soup. Tenchi looked up from her bowl and smiled, "Mmm, yet again you cook like a five star chef. What is your secret?" Sasha winked, "If you need to ask, then you are never going to fully understand the secret. It is something you cannot buy in the store." Tenchi knew better than asking Sasha at that point, instead just eating more before she heard Sasha murring when Phoebe and Zeus were taking turns on giving her belly rubs, making her notice that swelling gut, "Have you been eating too much or are you having a person stuffed in there?" Everyone looked at Sasha, who smiled and soon leaned closer to Zeus, "Well, what do you think?" That was all the answers that was needed as everyone stood up and gave a round of applauds to them before sitting down as Jae smiles, "So, when is the coronation of yours, Tenchi?"

The family stopped what they were doing before looking at each other, Sasha realizing the problem, "She is not officially a queen. She needs her coronation!" Most of the family seemed almost overjoyed of the idea before Peridot stood up and smiled, "How about we bring back all the important people from every tribe then so they can witness this coronation and watch the best queen being coronated?" Sasha grunted, "Yeah, like my coronation was great. All I did was to put my behind on the throne and an entire wasteland became a jungle." Most ignored her complaining and nodded to Peridot, "That is a good idea." Lyra stood up and smiled, "Then what are we waiting for? Lets do this!"

After all the planning had been done and invitations had been sent, Tenchi sat in a chair while Topaz was brushing her hair and setting it up to look regal for the coronation while Peridot, Ainohi, Kari and Yin stood nearby, neatly dressed up in the best royal garbs with the help of Akari's skillful hands and a few imports of the finest silk. Tenchi was wearing hers already, the icy blue garb covering up most of her body while she proudly wore the tribe symbol of every tribe from the realm of Dr'Wich along the right arm while the left had her name written with the help of hiragana. Peridot wore a similar garb, but green in color while only having one tribe symbol on her right arm and her name written with the help of hiragana on the left. Ainohi, Kari and Yin wore similar ones, but red as to show their status as princesses of the realm. Tenchi smiled, "It is hard to believe that everyone could pull all this together in just three days." Peridot nodded before a knock was heard from the door and Sasha looked into the room, "Are you done yet? The guests are already here and the captain of the guards is having Snickers chasing him."

Tenchi giggled before Topaz nodded, "You are done." Tenchi stood up and gave Topaz a soft hug, "Thanks, sis." Topaz gave a polite nod before going to get her own dress on, Tenchi waving to the others, "Come on now. Lets see what we got to handle now." Leaving their room and following Sasha down the stairs, it was clear that this would be a challenge as Sasha called out, "Here they come! The upcoming royal family of Ri'Co'Va!" The applauds were plenty, but the problems were already rising as two dragonesses were headbutting each other and looked as if they were about to kill each other. Tenchi walked closer before she could hear an elderly Jae spitting out an insult to the other dragoness, "Baran, you filthtail! You do not belong here with the high-class. Go and play with your little pet." Baran growled at the insult and slapped the other dragoness, "You take that back before I make you eat your own words!"

Tenchi grunted as soon she could hear Janch growling, "You are here too?!? This is a coronation, not a slaughterfest!" A voice cackled with laughter before speaking, "You already forgot that I killed you, right, filthtail? Do yourself a favor and leave while you are still alive." Tenchi's temper was boiling up before growls of pain were heard when the four were pulled together and struck in the head with the blunt side of a blade before Alex sheathed it slowly, "This is a coronation and you four are turning it into a family feud! Do you want to ruin a big day in someone's life just because you cannot accept one's style of life?" The oldest dragoness growled, "Silence, male. What makes you think that you have a right to speak?" Janch laughed, "If you only knew, bitch. He is not like any male, he is the one who leads the army of the undead."

The cackling laughter was heard before pillars of ice traveled across the floor towards Alex, who swiftly drew his sword before disappearing until he appeared behind them and slowly sheathed the blade, "Wayward Serpent. Wyvern Cry!" The ice pillars shattered and soon Baran and Janch watched as the two former queens laid on the floor and cried in pain while covering their ears, most of the elderly tribe members just watching until Alex spun around to look at them, "I might be a male, but I am also a father and I uphold honor. Show honor to one another now or face another screech."

As it were, these were Jae XV and Jae XX, the first being the one that created the law against relationships with feral beasts, while the second one was the killer of Janch. Being raised to believe that males are weaker and wyverns are meant to be pets and not lovers, they had forced all this onto their daughter to ensure it was rooted deeply. This was the case of the one that soon walked over towards Izae, the one who had saved her own son by sacrificing herself. Looking into her eyes, they both stood there until Izae noticed the former queen unsheathing her sword before holding it out to her, "Here, I want to end the hostility between our tribes, once and for all. I am ready to accept any punishment you might want to bring onto me."

Izae took the sword from the queen's hand and looked at it for a while, preparing herself to swing before she was lowering it and sheathed it back into where it should be, "No, you suffered enough, Jae the Twenty-Fourth. Your death by the hands of the assassin is enough of a price for what you did." Instead, Izae gave the belt around her waist a pull before giving the queen a tight hug, causing most to applaud before her daughter finally spoke up, "And mother, I have met the right one now." The mother looked over at her daughter before she saw Jigo holding her closely, both wearing equally beautiful dresses and even had their hair set up to look almost identical in style, the queen just smiling, "Choose with your heart, my dear." Tenchi smiled before Sasha called out, "Now, lets begin the ceremony. Everyone, out!"

Once they came out of the castle, and were brought to the backyard of the castle, most of the guests were amazed, mostly the ursine emperor, his daughter and the daughter's partner, "Now this is pure art!" Where they were looking, there stood a big waterfall with five thrones standing at the foot in front of said waterfall. In front of the stage stood tables with plenty of chairs, covered completely in various foods from all over the planet as the light of the suns were soon being replaced slowly by the light of the moon. One by one, the chairs got filled with guests and family until it looked like there wasn't any left, Tenchi and family taking a seat in each throne with Tenchi in the middle as they began to eat of the food and it was first then that Tenchi noticed the cloaked being sitting on the stage, quickly readying herself to strike until Sasha was giving her a sign to calm down.

After seeing Tenchi finally sitting down again, Sasha cleared her throat, "May I have your attention?" Everyone stopped eating and Sasha smiled, "First off, I wanna thank you for coming here today. Today will be the very first time in history where an actual coronation happens of a goddess and also in the realm of the undead. I know many of you have bitter feelings for each other, but I promise that this will be worth it for you all." She then stepped onto the stage before bowing to the five of them before turning to face the crowd to speak again, "In the name of the holy Creators of the planet, I have been granted permission to perform this coronation. And with the blessings of the queens of the past, I will grant these worthy girls the right to be royals of their own rights, free from the oppressions of their earlier bindings."

The crowd began to applaud before Sasha snapped her claws to have five tables appear with a gemstone, a fragment of metal and a small vial of pure water on each before Sapphire walked over and began to work her hands along the materials, producing wonderful crowns made from gold, silver and platinum with a gemstone encrusted into front of them, a warm smile coming to her face and everyone looked amazed at how well she had worked them, almost like an actual masterpiece. Tenchi was taken back by the sheer beauty as she soon heard the footsteps when Sasha grabbed the first crown and had Yin lower her head, "By the right of your marriage to a future royal, I hereby crown you, Princess Yin of Ri'Co'Va!" Sasha quickly lifted a hand to silence the applauds before she took the next and made Kari lower her head, "By the right of your bloodline, I hereby crown you, Princess Hikarinoai of Ri'Co'Va!" The applauds were silent as the next crown was picked up and Ainohi already had her head lowered as Sasha smiled, "By the right of your bloodline, I hereby crown you, Princess Ainohi of Ri'Co'Va!"

With the kids being crowned, Sasha took one of the bigger crowns and walked towards Peridot, smiling as she bowed and Peridot followed suite with bowing and keeping her head there, "By the right of your bloodline and the marriage to a future royal, I hereby crown you, Queen Peridot of Ri'Co'Va!" Tenchi saw how Sasha took her crown now and pretended it to be heavy, "Ohhhh, this is weighing so much with responsibility!" Tenchi giggled and lowered her head before Sasha nodded, "By the right of your bloodlines, your actions in reviving a complete tribe and bring a new future for the people you will protect, I hereby crown you, Queen Tenchi of Ri'Co'Va and Royal Judge of Gac'Ea'Ax!" Now the applauds began as everyone saw the family standing up to bow, their eyes sparkling in joy before Sasha smiled and looked around, "Hey... where did Alex and Lyra go?" Janch looked around, "Gane is missing too!" Vana gasped, "Rywigo is gone too!" Tenchi looked around in shock, "Not another kidnapping!"

It was then that the music began to play, a soft bass beat before fireworks flew from the sides of the waterfall as Alex appeared at the top of the waterfall with a microphone in his right hand, whispering softly into it, "And every night, I lay awake, as I cannot find a conclusion. With every night staying the very same, in my own dream of an absolution." With the attention aimed at him, Alex began to sing loudly "In this moonlight, do you see what you dream? In your mindfulness, is it always what it seem?" Suddenly a stage shot out of the middle of the waterfall as Lyra walked through it and sang "Look around you and maybe you will realize, despite all preachers telling you their lies." Alex called out from the top, "And I might know of the future." To which Lyra replied, "But then you still control the past. Only you know if it will be better." Alex smiled before calling out, "Only you know if this shall last."

Zeus stood up and began to actually dance with Jupiter and Aphrodite before Lyra actually began to slide down the waterfall while singing, "In the moonlight, do you still see the pain? Of the valor you sought, but never had." Alex sang loudly still on top of the waterfall as Lyra reached the bottom, "If you had a chance, would you return to change your past, to mend a mistake with one last chance?" Soon the stage in the middle of the waterfall disappeared as Alex and Lyra joined together on the next part, "And I might know of the future. But then you still control the past. Only you know if it will better tonight."

Everyone gasped as the stage below Alex suddenly disappeared and Alex took a leap from the waterfall, but put his feet in the water to slide down it like Lyra had, but soon he drew his sword, only for it to split into three. With one in each hand and tail, he formed a gigantic dragon made of water that came crashing down the waterfall while he was singing, "Cause every night I will hold you tight!" Lyra replied loudly in song, "And every night I will be by your side!" Alex's voice drowned out in the water until it rung out clearly, "Cause every night, I still lay awake, waiting for my dream of an acceptance."

Lyra noticed the water dragon coming down towards her and soon watched in awe as it flew back up towards the top of the waterfall while she was singing, "Cause every night I will make it right." Alex's voice came from the dragon as it split apart and stood in his power suit, making everyone gasp in astonishment, "And every night I will be there for you." Lyra's voice rung out from below him, "But every night it just stays the very same, in my own dream of an acceptance." It was at this point that Tenchi had noticed the cloaked figure had discarded the cloak, revealing a rather sensually dressed raccoon girl underneath that was dancing on the stage, mesmerizing the crowd with her moves.

Everyone stood up and applauded to the music before a new voice was heard from above. As everyone looked up, they saw Rywigo and Gane flying in formation while Yang was standing with her feet on their backs while singing, "In their moonlight, do you see what you do dream? All of your wishes, and all you will ever be. Just look around you, and then you may realize, the happiness shrouded in misery." Rywigo soon felt her moving over to Gane before he dove down, leaving Yang and Gane in the air as Alex smiled while singing out, "And who knows what of this future." Lyra sang from the bottom of the waterfall, "We can all try to change our past." With a leap from Gane's back, Yang was diving down towards the waterfall, singing her heart out, "Only you know if this will all be better tonight."

Everyone gasped in shock before Alex jumped into the waterfall again and sang, "Cause every night I will hold you tight." Lyra sang quicker now, "And every night I will be by your side." Alex called out from inside the waterfall loudly, "Cause every night I still lay awake." Suddenly the waterfall erupted from the inside as Alex came out as his solar bat form to capture Yang, "Waiting for my dream of acceptance." Lyra suddenly began to run up the waterfall before leaping out to be caught by Alex, singing clearer now, "Cause every night I will make it right." Alex replied with leaning down to sing in the mic, "And every night I will be there for you." Yang smiled and put her own mic to the maw when singing, "But every night it just stays the very same, in my own dream of acceptance."

The music slowly died down as it was clear to see that they had sung too much already, especially when Yang's voice cracked towards the end of her last line. But the applauds rung out loudly in the night sky before they landed and soon Alex turned back to normal and kneeled with Lyra and Yang to the royals before Tenchi smiled and with a display of pure beauty, the night sky soon turned a shade of red to make the stars appear like glimmering rubies in the sky. Tenchi looked up to the night sky and tears fell from her eyes as she spoke with a happy voice, "Best coronation ever."

After returning to their rooms for the evening, Janch and Vana had pulled Jae the Fifteenth and Twentienth with them into a less populated area of the castle, soon pinning them down, mostly Vana pinning both down while Tenchi looked at the two, "Listen. You have no rights anymore to claim that what someone does is wrong, ladies." Both of the former queens looked at them as Tenchi sighed, "I mean, do you even know who you are talking to? Because it is seriously a big deal." The older of the two grunted, "Then tell us already." Tenchi looked at them before slapping the older at the cheek, "I am the goddess of justice." Both of the queens gave a shocking look before Janch was grinning, "Oh yeah, she is the one who says and it happens. She could forbid you both to be revived if we kill you. That is how powerful her word is."

Tenchi nodded and looked at them both, "So either drop your attitudes or I drop you both into a nest with frisky wyverns." Janch murred, "Ohhh, I would pay to see that." A firm knock on the door was heard as soon both Varani and Hildegaard entered and both of the former queens swallowed and nodded, "We promise, we will not continue any of this." Tenchi gave a nod before Vana let them both go, watching them run away like scared hatchlings as Janch laughed, "Run back to your relatives now!"

As the laughters soon died out, Varani looked at Tenchi, "I must say, I would never expect to see the day when both my daughter and my granddaughter got surpassed." Tenchi smiled, "Ohhh, I might be stronger, but I am nowhere skilled as them." Varani nodded, "I never got to really get a view of what you are capable of. But one day I may." Hildegaard nods, "Yeah, I know that you got my polearm." Tenchi nodded before Hildegaard grabbed her left arm to check, "Though, I am curious about this one. What is this?" Tenchi explained briefly about her story growing up, the eyes of Varani and Hildegaard growing to the size of saucepans when she was done, "Wow, girl. You are more of a warrior than any of us."

Hildegaard quickly changed the topic, "Either way, once you are ready, I will gladly teach you how to use it to its fullest potential." Tenchi smiled, "That would be cool. I can never be too trained." Varani nodded, "I was never much for training. I enjoyed more to help the wyverns to breed." Janch giggled, "Hence why I quickly succeeded you, mother." Varani nodded, "So, I can only offer to teach you about the past of the tribe, as well as how to help you grow your little wyvern into a flying badass." Tenchi nodded, "That would be very appreciated..."

It was then that a sudden power increase appeared when Faarg, Trinity and Lòeón appeared in the room, "Sorry, but we wanted to check on the new pride and joy of the planet." The Frostclaws quickly kneeled, "Ah! The Father and the Creators." Lòeón laughed and lifted his hands, "Relax, stand up." As they did, Lòeón gave Tenchi a pat on the back, "Now this is truly one day to be proud of. You have become a queen and a goddess. What more can you reach now? I am very proud of you." Tenchi smiled before Faarg moved closer and put a hand on her shoulder, "Keep it up and please, do not hurt me." Tenchi giggled at how scared he seemed, but Trinity was quickly there, "Just so you know, we are here if you need us. Just make sure you do not contact us when Faarg has his meals. I do not think you wanna see that." Faarg growled, "Hey! Do not mention that to her!" They all laughed before the trio nodded, "Sorry to run off, but we got some work to do. See you around, kiddo." Lòeón gave Tenchi a hug before they left.

As they left the room to head back to Tenchi's own room, Vana stopped all of a sudden in the middle of the main hall as a tall red dragoness walked out from the bathroom with a burning piece of toilet paper stuck in the crack of her butt that was barely covered by her open skirt, but to their delight, she wore an equally revealing top that seemed to be having a scorched look on it, Vana quickly snapping her claws to put out the fire before the dragoness squeaked from the sudden cold on her buttcheeks and spun around to look at them with her orange eyes and coal-black hair, "Hey! What's the big idea?!" Vana smiled, "Oh sorry, I just wanted to put out the fire on the toilet paper sticking out of your backdoor portal there." The dragoness looked behind and noticed the trail of toilet paper, "Awww, embers again!"

Tenchi walked a bit closer to her before the dragoness finally burned up the toilet paper and looked at her, "Ah, you are the queen." She bowed politely, "A pleasure to meet you, your majesty." Tenchi giggled, "Calm down with the royal titles. Just call me Tenchi." The dragoness gave another bow, "Okay, miss. I am Liether, the last mother of the Firestone Tribe." Tenchi looked at her, "Ohhh, by last mother you mean you are the one who had their daughter being killed? I was told this by the god of wisdom." Liether smiled, "Oh, you mean great-grandfather Neo told you?" Tenchi looked at her, "Wait, Neo is my grandfather!" Liether looked at Tenchi and soon laughed, "Explains a deal then. I can see the Firestone in you. Show me it."

Liether let out a breath of fire, igniting her right hand to form claws made of magmatic rock, while Tenchi only could produce claws made from pure fire, "Hmmm, you are not as trained with this as I am yet. But I can help you harness that power, if you like." Tenchi smiled and nodded, "That would be sweet." Liether nodded before smiling, "Whenever you are ready, you can find me and the others surely near the Catlha Volcano." Tenchi nodded before a bell was ringing for the evening and lights out, and once the morning arrived and they had taken farewell of all the guests, Sasha had come back out into the courtyard of the castle with a map in her hands, soon giving it to Tenchi, "You might find this interesting. I gave the map a new look after the little relocation you gave them. And I also marked spots where time rifts have been created." Tenchi noticed the changes and soon smiled, "I guess we will see what has happened, in time."
