Sequelling [To Have and To Hold](%5C), and being the background story for [Spontaneous](%5C) and [My Girls](%5C).

Not my best attempt at anything dom/sub, just didn't seem to come out as sexy as I'd hoped... probably won't try for it again, certainly not as M/f.

Standard disclaimer: this story contains consenting and explicit sex between furry characters. If you don't like that, bugger off, don't read it, and don't contact me about it.

Lakeside

The bright afternoon sunlight glittered upon the surface of the lake, a gentle breeze stirring the surface into motion. Far across the water, the Skyreach mountains shone white and silver, their inverted reflections jutting down from the lakeshore and reaching out towards Cassendra as she paused in the shade of a willow tree. Squinting her eyes against the glare of the snowy peaks, the lioness allowed her gaze to travel along the towering horizon to the twin teeth of Najash, tallest of the mountains, harbouring the only pass through the range between their steep slopes.

Twice had she made that journey through the Breath of Najash, the chill air finding its way through every tiny gap in her clothes, leaving her and her party shivering. But that was years ago, and now it was warm and sunny and she was down by the lakeside, relaxed and safe.

Not that those past adventures hadn't held a certain excitement - but right now wasn't exactly the time for either adventure or excitement. Smiling, the lioness allowed one arm to drop, gently cradling her stomach, where six months worth of miracle imparted a curve upon the waistline of her skirt. Six months down, three months to go, and until then she was directly responsible for the safety of her husband's child, and Cassendra would contemplate nothing that might cause harm to the infant.

Closing her eyes, smiling in the warm breeze, she hummed quietly to herself - or perhaps to her child - a gentle, lilting melody that often ran through her head at times of contentment.

Behind her, out of her line of sight behind a tree near the lake, the wolf watched her eagerly.

She was indeed a fine figure of a woman, he thought. Graceful, elegant and beautiful, yet with an innocence of expression and movement that suggested she knew she was none of these things. Carried on the breeze, her scent drifted to him, warm and feminine and he closed his eyes for a moment as he toyed with the soft silken band in his pocket. Opening his eyes, finding the lioness now with one arm raised to lean against his tree, the bright sunlight haloing her in radiance, he knew it had to be done. Slowly, noiselessly, he stepped forward.

"Don't turn around, lady lion."

Cassendra jumped as the voice broke the silence of the day.

"Stop!" the instruction froze her, her head turned only a fraction, not enough to see behind.

"There now, that's a good lady lion. You've no need to see, you're quite safe." A hand pressed softly against the base of her spine, above her tail and a prickle ran all the way up to the back of her neck.

"Safe, lady lion," the wolf whispered into her ear, feeling her shaking under his hand. "Don't worry now," he continued, his deep voice thick with the accents of the countryside. Pulling the black silk from his pocket, he lifted it, winding it around the lioness' eyes. Her ears flicked nervously, but she didn't move. "There ye go, that's right. Still safe, lady lion, safe."

Cassendra shivered as she felt him step up behind her, his chin on her shoulder as his arms circled loosely about her waist.

"I'm thinking your husband is a lucky man," his voice murmured into her ear as his hands rested lightly against her rounded stomach. "Good, strong, handsome, I hope?"

"Y-yes..."

"Good. Good..." slowly, gently, those hands began to caress her blouse, fingers running lightly over her fur through the thin material.

"What..."

"Shh," the wolf quieted her. "You don't need to talk anymore, lady lion. Just listen.

"You're miles from anywhere. There's no one but me to hear you and it's not your voice I've a care for. There now, don't tremble, I've said you're safe and you are. Hush, lady lion, I'll do you no harm. Breathe a little."

Taking several deep, slow breaths, Cassendra fought to regain her composure, her posture straightening, pressing his chin harder against her shoulder. Shorter than she was, then. Stronger? He was being deliberately gentle, she couldn't tell.

"Will you be doing what I ask, lady lion?" his voice asked her. "Shh, just nod for me."

Cassendra hesitated, feeling his hands slip lower, cradling the roundness of her tummy, petting her lightly.

"I bet you have such a beautiful daughter on the way... Is she going to be a good little girl do you think? Do everything she's told, not make a fuss, not get into trouble? I bet she'll take after her mother. Is her mother a good girl?" The question came without emphasis, but Cassendra understood the shift of subject quite clearly. "Just nod if you're a good girl."

Breath trembling past her lips, the lioness nodded.

"Do what you're told?"

Another nod.

"No fuss?"

Cassendra shook her head slowly.

Behind her, the wolf grinned.

"Good, lady lion. That's very good. You'll be making your husband the happiest man alive, and that's the truth. Unbutton your blouse for me - oh, now! You said you were a good girl," he said, his voice firming as his hands went to her hips, holding her tightly as she stiffened. "And I said you were safe, and I don't lie to good girls. Unbutton your blouse."

Slowly, Cassendra lifted shaking hands to her chest. One button, two, three, until at last the garment hung loose, held together only by her hands at those of the wolf behind her. She felt his hands run up to her collar, tugging gently, and knew what he wanted. Her head was swimming, part of her wanted to run, part to freeze, and part... part of her just wanted to be a good girl who didn't get into trouble.

"Good lady lion," the wolf smiled as she shrugged out of the light cotton, leaving him holding as she crossed her arms across her chest, raising the garment to his nose to inhale her wonderful scent. Folding it carefully, he placed it on the clean grass beside them before standing to admire the soft curves of her back.

"You are beautiful, lady lion," he told her softly. "Your husband is a lucky man. Let me get that for you." He felt her stiffen as his fingers found the button in the middle of her back, the linen hanging down either side of her body as she kept her arms tight across her chest.

"Give me your hands," the wolf said quietly, wrapping his arms around her, taking a gentle hold of her wrists. "Be good now. That's right."

Cassendra shivered as she felt him tug at her wrists. Run, resist, obey... she couldn't sort out the emotions. Left weak and helpless by her own feelings, unable even to protest, she felt him lift her arms away from her torso, feeling her chest strap fall to the grass by her feet as guided her into stretching her arms out high over her head.

His voice was in her ear again. "Do you feel the breeze, lady lion? It's coming in clean over the water, fresh down from the mountains; you're the first person in the world to breathe it, a part of the sky come down to earth just for you. Do you feel it?"

Nodding, the lioness felt herself rising unbidden to the tips of her toes as the air stirred her fur. "Yes..."

The wolf smiled, letting his fingertips trace down the back of her arms to her waist, leaving little ruffles in her fur. "Rest a while, lady lion," he murmured.

Rest a while, Cassendra thought. That was the second time she'd heard those words today. The first had been when the dawn light was barely creeping into her bedroom...

"Mmm? Thor?" she blinked sleepily.

"Sorry, Cassy," Thordin whispered, sitting on the edge of their bed and looking down at her. Behind him, the grey light of early morning brought the bedroom wall into colourless clarity. "I didn't mean to wake you. I have to go."

"Already? I didn't even know you were home... what time did you...?"

"Had to work late too," he told her softly. "I'm sorry, it's not for much longer. Just a week more, maybe two. I promise that's all."

"I miss you..." she told him, one hand reaching out to snag his sleeve.

"I miss you too," he murmured, leaning down to press his cheek against that of his wife. "Oh gods I miss you." Kissing her forehead, he let his hand fall to her flank, feeling the gentle roundness of her tummy under the sheets. "I miss you both. This is important, I'm sorry, I'll be back later. It's still early, rest a while, Cassy."

Despite the familiar words, Cassendra didn't really feel as if she could rest. Not eight hours later, standing by the lakeside, arms over her head and her chest bare to breeze, sunlight warm against her fur, and a watchful gaze at her back.

"You're beautiful, lady lion," came the voice in her ear. Hands were under her shoulders, urging her to stay on her toes, caressing her as his muzzle touched the back of her neck, tongue extended just enough to brush her fur. She shivered as he moved, palms flat under her armpits, moving down her flanks over the bumps of her ribs, sliding forwards until his fingertips encountered softness.

"Your husband is such a lucky man," the wolf murmured.

"I love him..."

"Shh..." a finger brushed her lips. "I'm sure you do. I don't need to know right now." Slowly, his fingers crept forwards. "Stay still," he whispered, and she obeyed, trembling a little on her tiptoes as he cupped her chest in his hands, each nipple shielded from the breeze.

"I think you like to be touched here, lady lion," the wolf said, a smile in his voice as he felt her body respond, tight little peaks pressing back against his palms.

"I..." Cassendra forestalled her response as he shushed her again, biting her lip as his hands began to circle gently, teasing, petting, all the while aware of just how hard her nipples were under his touch.

"You have a beautiful body, lady lion," he murmured, one hand running down to the outward curve of her tummy as the other continued to cup her chest, strong fingers as gentle as the breeze, ruffling the fur all around her exposed skin. "Your husband must be so happy to wake up with you, smelling so good... He's such a lucky man."

The lioness trembled as his nose touched her back, taking a deep breath as his hands moved just beneath her breasts to lie warm against her ribs, a gentle embrace. Unbidden, unplanned, she let herself fall from tiptoes, bringing her heels down to the grass and his palms back into contact with the softer parts of her body. Aware of the action only when she heard her own purr, she caught it too late to hide, swallowing hastily to silence herself from further outburst.

"You can purr if you want to, lady lion," the wolf told her softly, stepping forward until his body pressed against hers, his cheek resting warmly on the back of her neck, hands still on her chest, gently circling, stimulating. "There's nobody to hear but you and me. Please purr, if I make you want to."

That gentle request request, to be asked instead of instructed, seemed to sweep away the lioness' inhibitions, to carry away doubt and uncertainty, to put flight to fear. He wanted her to tell him how he made her feel. He wanted to know she felt good.

Her head tilted back as her hands found his thighs, fingers digging into the material. Held firmly in his embrace, knees held tight together as she felt his hips press up against her bottom, the lioness purred. In spite of everything, in spite of being half naked in the middle of the wilderness, held immobile in the wolf's grasp, the sound poured uncontrolled from her, his fingers seeming to vibrate against her chest in counterpoint.

"Oh goddess..."

"Shh, no more words now. Any other noise you care to make is fine, but I want to hear no words from you. That's a good lady lion. Such a good girl you're being. I think it's time you unbuttoned me now."

She had turned before she knew she had, felt his hands on her shoulders, his breath on her face, and blushed as she realised what she had done. He pulled at her, guiding her a few paces, backing up in front of her. A slight change of warmth suggested they had stepped into the shade of the nearby tree, he perhaps setting his back against the trunk.

"Good girl. Go on now."

He watched as she took a deep breath, then lifted her hands, reaching out towards his chest, her expression moving from concern to confusion as she found only his thick, warm fur. "My shirt's already open, lady lion. Be a good girl. You're completely safe."

Hardly realising she was doing it, the lioness slid her hands downwards, feeling a well-muscled chest that rose and fell slowly with its owners measured breaths. She found his calmness affecting her, taking the tremble from her hands. Down over a tight stomach, defined muscles clear to the touch. A belt.

"That's right. Good lady lion."

Tug, release the catch, pull... his belt was open. She found the button after a few moments.

"You're quite safe, lady lion."

Top button undone. Another under, two more beneath that in a row. The weight of his pants was in her hands.

"Good lady lion."

Kneeling, letting the fabric slowly slide down his legs, feeling his hand come to rest atop her head, stroking her fur, rubbing her ears gently. There were no boots to get in the way, and he stepped out of his garment without obstruction, his hand never leaving her fur.

"Be a good girl."

She knew what he wanted, knew what was to be done. Trembling, Cassendra let one hand fall, cradling her tummy even as the other ran up his thigh, finding the level of his hips as he stood before her, leaning back a little into the cool embrace of the tree behind.

His fingers on her head tensed as her muzzle touched his fur. Soft. Tentative. The lightest contact she could get away with. He smelled clean and fresh, familiarly male. She whimpered, resisting the instinctive action.

"Be a good girl."

He tasted like he smelled; clean fur, recently washed, no trace of dirt or sweat as she licked softly at his lower tummy. The hand on her head petted her gently, rewarding her with touches to her ears, nudging her lower; not forcefully, but with soft insistence. He wasn't going to push her into place, but he would keep reminding her what he wanted.

Her hand tightened on his hip as she dipped her head. Furless skin, just a couple of inches, his body betraying his desires. Lick after lick he was warm, smooth, and steadily growing against her tongue.

"Good girl! Very good."

It was funny, not so very long ago, Cassendra had been echoing those very words.

"Good girl! Very good!"

The young margay beamed up at her before scampering back to her desk as the lioness indicated that she could go. Glancing at the blackboard, she smiled at the wobbly, but otherwise correctly formed letters, before returning her attention to the dozen small faces in front of her.

"Now then -" the lioness paused as a knock sounded on the door, a moment before it opened to reveal a short and slender squirrel in a short and slender dress. "Sorry to walk in on you, mistress Hunt," she said quietly, "But there's a visitor for you at the front door."

"A visitor?" Cassendra repeated quietly. "Who?"

"He said his name is Derry Woodsmoke, that he works for the local news scroll."

Cassendra thought for a moment. "Oh, yes, I believe I know him. Haven't spoken to him in ages, wonder what he wants?"

The squirrel shook her head. "Why don't you go and find out?" she said kindly. "I'll take your class."

"All right," the lioness nodded, then raised her voice. "Thank you miss Redbough. Excuse me, children, I won't be long," she added, turning to address the room. Seeing a couple of mischievous grins breaking out she continued "Be good or I'll hear about it." The grins faded, replaced by expressions of obedience. "Jopher?" she raised her eyebrows at the most mischief prone of her charges.

"Yes, miss," the fox said, bowing his head. He was a good hearted boy, Cassendra knew, but did have a real tendency to play tricks and try to find limits - she just liked to make sure she set them before he found them.

"Good boy," the lioness nodded, favouring him with a smile that lifted his ears up from their low slant. Turning, she headed out of the room.

"Oh you," she murmured quietly, holding a hand under the soft roundness of her tummy as she walked along the corridor. "You are determined to slow me down, aren't you? Probably more so soon enough. Never mind sweetie, Derry can wait a little longer, and so can his news... I wonder what he wants? I thought he was done with his interviews months ago - you're not Derry," she stated, turning the corner to the main entrance and seeing the figure in the doorway.

"Why ma'am, be you not recognising me no more? Oh that cuts me hard it does ma'am, after all those in'erviews we did together," Thordin said in a not half bad impression of the reporter and Cassendra laughed, hugging him as he moved towards her, playfully slapping at his hand as it gravitated downwards from the small of her back.

"Why are you here?" she asked, her head on his shoulder.

Instead of answering, Thordin held a finger to his lips, then extended a hand. Taking it, she allowed him to lead her down the driveway of the school to the main gates, outside which waited a horse and carriage - not a fancy carriage, just plain, sturdy wood, but clean and with plush looking seats.

"Thor... really, what is going on?" she asked, blinking as they stepped out from the shade of the tree-lined driveway and into the bright sunshine.

"Can't I visit my wife and daughter during the day?"

"After telling me you had to go to work at six in the morning? No," Cassendra shook her head, but smiled, blushing as he swept a bunch of flowers from the front seat and presented them to her. "Oh... they're beautiful. Now I know something's wrong," she said, narrowing her eyes.

Thordin laughed. "No," he shook his head. "No, not at all. I just realised what an idiot I've been. I'm sorry, Cassy, I've been... a poor husband, the last few weeks. I let... things at work get on top of me. I shouldn't have. I love you. Nobody is more important to me than you," he sighed, then looked down at his feet. "I've been really bad at showing it, haven't I?"

Cassendra looked at the top of his head for a few moments, then flushed deeper. "Oh, Thor... is that blood?" she asked suddenly, reaching up to touch a finger to the side of his head just above his left ear. Thordin looked guilty. "Thor?"

"I... may have taken a knock from a loose gauntlet," he admitted.

"Well that makes sense. Are you all right?"

"I'm fine," he assured her. "Come on, let me help you up," he continued, opening the door at the side of the carriage and unfolding the step.

"Up? What? We can't go anywhere, I have to..."

"No you don't, Maria agreed to cover for you. It's all sorted."

"She's in on this?" the lioness gave her husband a sidelong glance as she hesitantly placed a foot on the lowest step.

"Well she knows my name isn't Derry," Thordin pointed out, laughing as he helped his wife into the carriage.

"Rotten little tree rat, I'll have words with her later..."

"Not for a few days you won't," Thordin said cheerily, closing the carriage door behind her and climbing into the driver's seat.

"A few days? What on earth..."

"Relax, mistress Hunt," he told her, turning and leaning down. "You just got a vacation."

"I got what?"

"Boss has a cabin out by the Southlake. Said we could have it for the week."

"But we can't..."

"There's food and clothes in the cases under the seat. Couple of sweet snacks if you'd like one now."

"But..."

"And there's fish in the lake."

"But..."

"And I can always take the horse up to Ridgewood to buy more supplies if you're hungry for anything in particular."

"Thor!" the lioness almost shouted and he stopped.

"Cassy?" his voice was hushed, his expression betraying genuine worry that he had upset her.

"I love you," she told him, leaning over the back of the driver's seat and pressing her lips to his.

"Not as much as I love you," he said, grinning.

"Way more."

"Nope."

"Yep, loads."

"Nope, never!"

"Thor!"

"Mmm?"

"Shut up and kiss me."

Thordin kissed her.

"Good girl."

Both her hands were on the wolf's hips - Cassendra didn't even know how that had happened - gripping him, holding him in place as she bathed his arousal with her tongue. Seven inches, perhaps a little more, clean, honest maleness. Whatever else may pass between them, his erection told no lies. He wanted her. Badly.

And the knowledge sent a shiver all the way from her ears to the tip of her tail.

The wolf smiled and stroked her head lightly. She was good - varying the length and speed of each lick, left, then right. Her mouth opened without even being prompted, lips wrapping around his tip, pushing down an inch, tongue flicking against him.

It was easy, so easy - she always loved to do this to her husband, and whatever present circumstance it was an act that came instinctively, comfortably, holding the wolf in her mouth, pleasing him as he rewarded her with gentle contacts against her head and ears.

"Good girl."

She was a good girl, Cassendra thought. She was pleasing him, doing as he told her, surrendering control to him because... because she trusted him. Because she believed his assurances of safety, because she felt that while she was in his power, she was under his protection, and she knew that he would let no harm befall her.

And it was so easy to please him, to lick at him, to suck on him, to wrap her fingers around him, to caress him and prove to him that she was a good girl.

"Ease up there, lady lion..."

Of all the things he could have said right now, it was clear from the lioness' expression that that was the hardest instruction for her to obey. Grinning, stroking her ears, he petted her softly, feeling her slow in her motions, her breath panting through her nose, her hands gripping his thighs tightly.

"Enough, lady lion," he told her gently. "Enough now."

He almost laughed at her expression, a look of utter disappointment crossing her face for a few moments before she managed to wipe it away. She stayed there, kneeling at his feet as he murmured soft words to her, telling her how good she had been, how lucky her husband was.

"Stand," he murmured, and after a moment's pause she did so, rising to her feet before him, the tree above casting dappled shade and brilliant highlights onto her fur.

"You are," he told her firmly. "Utterly beautiful, lady lion."

She dipped her head, blushing at the words.

"Change places with me."

Oh, that got her attention - back straightening, ears pricking up. The wolf smiled, reaching out to take her hand, stroking his fingertips over her palm.

"You know you're safe, I mean no harm to you," he told her quietly, and she nodded, following his urging as he tugged gently at her, stepping her forward as he moved out of her way, guiding her hands up to rest against the rough bark of the tree. "Now you just stand still. Don't worry, I'll do the work for a while."

Cassendra flinched a little as she felt him catch hold of the base of her skirt, drawing it up from her knees all the way over her buttocks. She arched her back as he ran a finger along her spine, and he took advantage to lay the material on the now shallow incline just above her tail. Catching that flexible appendage in his hands, he drew it up to his muzzle, planting a soft kiss on the fur as his free hand patted her bottom right where her tail entered her underwear.

"You're wet," he murmured softly, and she blushed.

"I'm not!" she protested.

He chuckled quietly, his hand sliding down the soft cotton, cupping boldly between her legs, pressing her own moisture against her. "Yes you are. Don't worry, it's all right. Nobody will know but me and you. But I think we don't want your clothes getting in a mess now, do we?"

The lioness shivered, claws half extended, digging into the bark of the tree as she felt his fingers on the button above her tail. He tugged, and the cotton spilled down her legs, exposing her to him. Dropping her tail on instinct, she trembled as he caught it once more, lifting it to his chest, holding it tight against his heartbeat.

"No need to hide, lady lion. You're beautiful, you know." Hooking his foot over her underwear, he pushed it down from her knees to her feet. "Out you step now, that's it, good girl."

Without quite meaning to, he found himself kneeling behind her, nose against the fur of her bottom, kissing her gently. Left, right, left, right, soft kisses and licks against her fur, never central, never allowing her the contact he knew she wanted until...

"Oh f-"

"Shh," he told her quietly, cold nose firmly planted against hot, fur-less skin as she squirmed. "I told you not to speak. That's the last now. No more unless I ask you a question."

Claws cutting into the bark, the lioness nodded, feeling breathless and light headed. Oh goddess was she really going to let him... A low moan escaped her lips as she felt his tongue against her. Softly, gently, not remotely threatening, clearly aiming to please her.

"I love how you taste, lady lion," the wolf murmured. "So clean and fresh, like a good girl should. Hard to believe you've a husband. I guess he's been ignoring you of late."

She shivered and felt blood rise to her cheeks, her tail falling again, but not to cover herself, rather to lie gently across the top of his head, curving down his back, half holding him to her. Mewling softly she arched her back further, pushing against him as his tongue pressed into her, dipping inside for a moment - and he was gone. Raising her head, she looked over her shoulder - uselessly, while still blindfolded - only to hear him chuckle.

"I think you're ready, lady lion," he told her, and she whimpered, turning back to the tree, dipping her head until her fur rested against the cool bark. Her breath caught in her throat as a fingertip gently explored under her tail - not threatening, not invasive, just curious.

"Where do you want it, lady lion?"

"D-down there... please..."

"Down where, lady lion?" the wolf asked slyly, one fingertip now stroking the entire length of the ambiguity, skin to fur to skin again.

"Please..."

"There's two down here's, lady lion. You better tell me which, else I'll just take my choice."

"C-" her voice trailed off.

"I can't hear you," the wolf prompted, stepping forward until his hips touched her bottom, his hot length lying in the valley between her buttocks, his hands on her flanks, fingers wrapping around the gentle curve of her stomach.

"C-cooter... please..."

The wolf smiled, leaning forward to kiss the back of her shoulders. "As my lady lion wishes."

Cassendra bit her lip as she felt him move his hips back. A broad, warm contact slid up between her legs, from one end of her entrance to the other, the wolf wetting himself on her body without pressure or penetration.

"Please!" she whispered, her ears lowering with embarrassment as she heart the desperation in her own voice.

She heard him chuckle.

"You really want it, lady lion?"

"Yes..." she hissed, head pressing harder against the tree.

"Really?"

"Yes! "

For a few long seconds, she felt his hands on her bottom, caressing her there as his tip caressed her soft entrance, and readied to push back against him - but he stepped away.

"No, I don't think you do."

"Wait..." she had turned without meaning to, stepping forward, following his voice for one, two, three paces until she felt the warm sunlight on her fur as she left the shade of the tree. "Wait..." she whispered.

"I'm waiting," she heard him say, and sighed in relief. Relief? Goddess, she was under his spell. She knew it, she loved it, revelled in being so utterly under his control. None of this, none of this was her will, none of it her fault, and yet... so much her desire. It was so damn easy not to resist.

"Kneel," he told her, standing somewhere to her left.

She knelt, as he instructed, finding clean grass beneath her.

"Hands on the ground."

Again, she followed his command, now on all fours, the soft grass cool and pleasant against her palms.

"Head down."

Arms folded, forehead against them. She didn't even know she had done it until the smell of earth and grass filled her nose.

"Lift your tail," he said, his voice behind her now.

She felt her skirt roll down her back, exposing her bottom to the summer air, the cool kiss of the breeze against heated skin making her tremble.

"Good girl," he murmured, reaching down to press both hands against her upraised bottom, massaging gently. Kneeling behind her, he let one hand slide around between her thighs, pressing gently against her rounded stomach.

"Do you need it?"

"Yes..." her voice broke, the word almost a sob. "Oh goddess, yes!"

"Now I believe you," he murmured. Slowly, gently, with no desired to frighten or harm the beautiful lioness, he moved forwards, his tip touching against her pink folds, sinking an inch inside her body as she trembled.

"Good girl, lady lion." He leaned over her as he leaned into her, his hands either side of her elbows on the ground. Softly, he kissed the back of her left ear as he hunched his hips against her.

Cassendra whined through her nose as she felt him inside her at last, that hot, deep pressure she had longed for, that she had done without for far too long.

"You're so warm, lady lion," the wolf whispered to her, licking the back of her head. He felt her shiver again as he drew back, only to push forwards again, his tip gliding over that special place the the front of her tunnel that always made her wiggle. Deep inside her, he could feel the surges of tension, the increasingly regular squeeze of her muscles around him, and knew she was already close.

"Not yet..." he murmured, and she whimpered, fingers grasping at the grass. "Keep your head down. Don't you finish yet."

Cassendra bit her lip as her body rocked with his movements. Each thrust threatened to take her over the edge, each motion forcing his tip against that tender spot inside her, sending sparks of pleasure coursing up her body.

"Can't... wait..." she huffed out between gasps for breath.

"Now," he told her, and with his next thrust inside her, her climax blossomed. Sharp and intense, a burning flame of pleasure seemed to ignite between her legs, exploding a moment later, sending hot streams of liquid joy along her veins. Head pressed to her forearms, back arched, bottom high, she watched lights burst over the back of the blindfold, a low groan of animal lust escaping her. Somewhere in the midst of it all, she felt the wolf tense. His muzzle found her ear, nipping at her - but gently, tugging more with lips than with teeth - and she felt his pleasure surge inside her. Once, twice... five... seven times before he shuddered and released her, his head falling to rest against the back of her neck.

"Goddess..." she murmured.

"Yeah..." he returned. "You're a good girl. Is she ok?" he asked softly, one hand slipping underneath her, cradling her tummy.

"Of course he is," she answered, smiling, managing to work one of her own hands back to rest against his, lacing their fingers together. "You know I'd stop you if I had to." She paused for a few breaths, then, "Thor?"

"Hmm?"

"Can I take off this blindfold now?"

Thordin chuckled. "Of course," he said, dropping the accent and allowing his voice to return to its normal deep timbre.

Tiredly, the lioness raised her head, and he reached forward, tugging at the black silk. She blinked in the sudden brightness of the sunlight, squinting over her shoulder as he leaned to the side to catch her eye.

"You ok?" he asked, smiling.

"I love you," she told him.

"Love you too. 'Cooter'?" he chuckled, nosing at the back of her left ear, and she blushed.

"I didn't know what else to say," she told him, biting her lip as he hugged her gently with one arm. He nuzzled the back of her head tenderly for a few moments, before pushing back, and slipping from her, sitting back onto the grass. She turned, following him, carefully settling on the grass between his spread thighs, his legs under hers, her knees hugging his flanks under his arms.

"Well, there's lots of words you could have used," the wolf smiled at her, one hand resting on her stomach, petting her fur, caressing her, reminding her how much he loved both her, and the child she carried.

Cassendra dipped her ears, looking embarrassed. "But they all sound so coarse," she said, biting her lip.

"There is nothing coarse about you, my lady lion," he murmured gently, moving his hands up to cradle her face, bringing them together until their noses touched. Lip to lip, tongue soon met tongue, both of them panting across the other's cheek. "Gods you're so beautiful," he said, his voice reverent as they parted, his eyes flickering down her body, across her shapely bosom, down her gently curving tummy. Grinning, he hooked his finger into the waistband of her skirt and gave a gentle tug, revealing another inch of soft, creamy fur.

Cheeks a charming pink, she lowered her nose, nuzzling under his chin as her hand found it's way onto his stomach, patting the soft fur over iron hard muscles, slipping downwards to where her eyes already rested.

"Still?" she whispered, fingers wrapping around his erection.

"I haven't made love to my wife for nigh on three weeks," he told her, an apologetic slant to his eyebrows. "You can't blame me for being a little enthusiastic."

"Then perhaps I should give you a reminder of what I can do for you, just so's you know exactly what you've missed out on?" she hinted, her eyelids lowering seductively.

"I already know," he told her, leaning forwards to plant a kiss between those warm amber eyes. "But I would love," he murmured, his breath warm through her fur, "a reminder."

Squeezing him in her hand, tugging at him until he took a deep breath, Cassendra grinned.

"Then get your shirt off so I can see my husband properly," she told him, and he nodded, smiling.

Goddess, he was so sexy, Cassendra thought, biting on her knuckle as she looked at him. Years of military, civilian enforcement, and now blacksmithing had left him in better shape than men ten years his junior, toned, defined, but not bulky or awkward. And people wondered why she had married a wolf.

Pushing down on his knees, she stood, sliding her skirt down her legs without a moment's hesitation. Seeing him gazing up at her, his mouth half open, she blushed deeper, her hands falling to cradle the curve of her tummy, suddenly very aware that she had gained a half inch around her thighs over the last few months.

"Do I look different?" she asked quietly.

Leaning back on his hands, Thordin actually laughed - then checked himself as he realised that there was at least a half-tone of sincerity in her words.

"Cassy, you look... like a goddess. You always did, and you still do. Admittedly it used to be sunlight and now it's fertility, but..."

Laughing, the lioness felt her worries melt away with his words. She stretched, her hands high above her head, suddenly completely at ease under his eyes, his expression holding nothing but approval for her delicately toned form, his smile telling her that nothing about six months of pregnancy had in any way dampened his admiration for her body.

Arms falling, she approached him as he straightened his legs, kneeling over him, pressing her hands against his stomach as she straddled his thighs. Yeah, there was something of a hint here about how he felt she looked, too, she thought, smiling. He gasped as she put her hand around him, his legs tensing for a moment as her thumb pressed against his tip.

"I hope you're not going to get overeager on me now," she smiled.

"Not if you don't tease," he replied, waggling his eyebrows.

Cassendra took the hint, raising herself onto her knees, shuffling forward until she felt him pressing up at just the right place between her legs.

The let out twin sighs of satisfaction as she let herself fall onto him, the warm softness of her body parting willingly to allow his to enter once more. He filled her perfectly, as he always did - not too little, not too much, enough to feel full, not enough to hurt, a light tickle against her cervix without any real pressure.

She purred as his hands ran up her tummy to cup her breasts, biting her lip as his fingers tugged lightly at her nipples.

"You're beautiful," he murmured, and she shivered, arching back until she was looking straight up at the blue sky overhead. "Do you think she minds?" he asked, his hands retreating to Cassendra's middle, spanning out across their mutual miracle.

Cassendra giggled, rocking her hips against his. "I don't think so. I imagine it's the same as taking a long walk, as far as he's concerned."

"I bet mummy doesn't wiggle quite this much when she walks," Thordin smiled.

"Mmm, maybe I could start to... keep him guessing, you know."

"I think she's too smart for that. But she's gonna be a good girl - she'll know when to be quiet and sleep. She knows daddy gets cranky if he doesn't get some time with mummy."

"Not to mention mummy gets pretty cranky when daddy doesn't come home before bed time for two weeks."

Thordin actually blushed at this. "I'm really sorr-"

"I know," the lioness shushed him, leaning forward, her hands on his sternum. "I understand that it's important right now. I'm not angry. But I do miss lying on your chest," she sighed, looking wistfully down at him, her rounded tummy lightly pressing against his even as her breasts swayed a clear six inches above his fur.

"I miss it too," he murmured, reaching up to caress her cheek. "Soon enough, Cassy. Let's just get little lady out safe and sound. Nothing is more important."

"Mmm," she nodded, sitting up, leaning back until her hands rested on his thighs. "But when he's in his cot... you're gonna be my cushion for a month, and you've got to lie down whenever I want. Deal?"

Thordin chuckled. "Deal."

"Good. Thor?"

"Hmm?"

"I really can't wait again..."

The wolf smiled. "So don't."

Head bowing slightly, Cassendra squeezed her eyes tight closed. It was always such a struggle to hold back with him, so very, very easy to let go, to surrender to pleasure.

"You're beautiful."

She felt the first tremor run through her, that little tightening that said she was on the very edge, that it was now or never.

"Show me you love me, lady lion. Be a good girl now."

"Oh..."

Her climax arrived gently, not with the burning lust of the first, but gradually, slowly, soft waves of pleasure radiating out from somewhere between her legs, a heat to match the warmth of the sun on her fur slowly spreading inside.

"Good girl, Cassy. Good girl."

Panting, she hugged his flanks with her thighs with each swell of tension. The gentle breeze kissed at her fur, the sun beating down on her, Thordin's words lifting her until all was warmth and light.

"I love you, Cassy."

Her hands were on his chest. She didn't even know when she had leaned forwards. It didn't matter. Her fingers twined with his thick fur as his hands caressed her flanks.

"I love you too... oh, goddess, I love you so much! Don't you dare get caught up in -"

"Shh," he murmured, pressing a finger to her lips. "I won't. I'm going nowhere, Cassy."

Eyes still closed, she nodded, sagging, the tension leaving her as suddenly as it had appeared.

"Sorry," she whispered.

"No problem. I worry about you too. Why don't you turn around?"

"Hmm? Oh. All right... Mmm," she sighed as she lifted and repositioned herself on him, now facing his feet. She purred as she felt his hands on her back, stroking, petting, tickling under her arms until she giggled and squirmed.

"Put your hands on the floor, lean back." She did so, carefully tucking her tail out to one side as the angle between them changed. "That's it, just lie back."

"I'll squash you..." the lioness bit her lip, looking over her shoulder, and he laughed gently.

"No you won't. You're not that heavy. I can carry you round the lake if you want me to prove it."

Cassendra laughed. "But then we wouldn't be making love."

"No, but it'll be worth it if... never mind," the wolf chuckled, wrapping his arms around her body as she settled back against his chest. It was a little awkward - being a few inches taller than him she had to twist so as to get his chin over her shoulder, but after a few moments they found a comfortable arrangement, his nose pressing into her cheek, both of them gazing up at the sky.

"You comfy down there, little puppy cushion?"

"That I am, lady lion. Are you?"

"Completely. Though we should have faced the other way, the breeze is kinda cold..." the lioness shivered a little as cool air found its way over moist skin.

Thordin laughed, hugging her. "I guess we could create a little warmth." As if proving that she really wasn't as heavy as she thought, he flexed his hips up underneath her and she bit her lip as he moved against sensitive places inside her.

"Mmm, that we could..." she purred as he moved his hands to cover her breasts, petting the warm fur.

"I love how soft you feel," he told her, nuzzling her cheek.

"I love how hard you feel," she whispered, giggling, her hands falling to hold his hips, hugging him as best she could.

"Are you in a hurry?" he asked, and she shook her head.

"No. You?"

"Not really."

"Slow?"

"Sure."

And slow they went. Gently, gradually, gracefully moving against each other, bodies locked in a steady, unhurried and deeply satisfying union. He took time to caress her, to stroke her, to explore her, discovering every contour of her body, every bump and swell that he had missed in recent weeks. She purred, and murmured soft encouragements, holding onto his hips, brushing her fingers down his thighs even as she felt his tail wagging between her knees.

When climax eventually took him, his arms wrapping around her, holding her tight between her breasts and tummy, she closed her eyes and moaned into the summer breeze, that warm rush inside her taking her over the edge, plunging her into pleasure, sweeping her up to the blue sky above, senses full of the sunlight and the smell of the earth.

"Cassy?" he murmured, and she blinked in the bright sunshine. Time seemed to have passed. She still lay atop him by the lake, but he had softened and slipped from her, and the shadow of the tree had moved.

"Did I fall asleep?"

"You did," he chucked, nuzzling her.

"I'm sorry..."

"Don't be. I did too. Best I've had in ages."

She giggled. "Well you had a nice thick blanket."

"Winter weight," he chuckled, dodging her over-the-shoulder swat at his ears.

"Cheeky. Are you hungry?"

"Very."

"Good, so am I." Sitting up, she looked around, gazing out across the lake, fingertips idly tracing patterns in the fur of his thighs. "I can't believe we just fell asleep out here..."

"It's not like there's anyone else around."

"Well, no..." Moving off him, she knelt in the grass, eyes on the sparkling water.

"Something on your mind?" he asked, kneeling behind her, chin on top of her head, arms draped around her middle.

"We should bring our son here."

"I think we just did," he chuckled.

"I meant when he can see it for himself."

"Ahh. Yes, maybe we should," he agreed. "Although... let's not tell her what we did first visit, eh?"

Cassendra laughed. "That would be kind of icky, wouldn't it?"

"Just a little," the wolf chuckled, holding his wife and child gently. "Now," he added. "Why don't we head back to the cabin, and you can tell me what I can cook for you?"

"Mmm," she agreed, standing as he did, collecting her clothes. She hesitated as he held out his hand before she could step into her skirt. "Seriously?"

"Miles from anywhere," Thordin told her with a lopsided smile, tugging her gently to his side. "No one but me to hear you. No one but me to see you. And I do like to see you."

Biting her lip, the lioness fell into step beside her husband, her hand in his, her clothes bundled up under her arm. Glancing across at him she realised that, despite the openness, despite being totally exposed to the world, she felt completely safe, here by the lake, with him at her side.

"Thor?"

"Hmm?"

"Exactly when and where did you get a blindfold?"

Thordin laughed. "Can't tell you that, might mean you could guess what else I've got for you," he told her, leaning over to kiss her cheek.

Cassendra blushed.
