Trials of Love, the Frostclaw Chronicles 14: Glacial Leviathan and Stormborn Thresher

"Ah. Jane, this steak is delicious!" Leona complimented her laquine wife as she bit down into the medium-rare meat, savoring the wonderful juices that filled her maw, really giving that inner predator of hers a delighted purr of satisfaction. "Awww, it is nothing, Leona. I enjoy cooking from time to time. Cannot have to handle grease all the time with engines and such. Gotta get that culinary grease too on my hands." Jane smiled and looked over her little family. "Although, I think next time someone else should be cooking. I wanna taste how others make theirs." Danza gave a hearty smile, "I could. As long as you can stand some rather unusual cooking."

Everyone gave a warm giggle before a knock was heard on the doors to the club, making Jane look up to see two guards standing there. Standing up from her chair, Jane walked over towards them and opened the doors, "Yes? How can I help you?" One of the guards took off their helmet before bowing, "Sorry to disturb your meal, miss Jane, but your mother has summoned you to the castle at your earliest. Please, do not keep her waiting." Jane looked confused, but nodded, "Very well. I will finish my meal and meet her. Please return to my mother with the message that I am coming." Both guards nodded and saluted before leaving as Jane closed the doors and went back to them, "I wonder why mother wants me to come."

A few minutes later, Jane walked into the castle's main hall, seeing most of the family standing there. Getting a bad feeling, she approached them before Sasha spoke up, "Hi there, Jane. I am sorry that I had to pull you away from your family for a moment, but we need your help with constructing a powerful combat suit for Tenchi." Jane looked confused, "But, is that not your specialty, mother?" Sasha nodded, "It is, but I have been requested to do solo work on a combat suit by your uncle."

Jane was simply scratching her head, "With you out of the picture, that means I will need a whole team that can work things out." Sasha nodded, "Exactly. Which is why I called for many with the knowledge required." Sasha turned around before some of the family walked forward, "Azula, for her knowledge about testing electronic devices from the inside, as well as her knowledge of how to make thin power wires that still work to transport high voltage. You, because of your keen eyes to notice even the slightest details. Maria, because her knowledge of how to build in weaponry into cybernetic limbs. Phoebe, because of her knowledge to create some of the most outrageous and powerful ammunition ever. Sapphire, because you need someone that can make the parts fast. Tarja, because she is the best one to test the finished products on. However, you do not have someone who can lead the whole group. So I know who we need to finally arrive."

Sasha lifted her right hand before snapping the claws as a portal appeared and in front of the eyes on everyone, a female canine just a few inches taller than Jane walked through said portal. Everyone looked at her, mostly Tenchi who was abit taken back by the fact that the canine girl had three heads. Her fur was green as the toxicity symbol itself, each head sporting a different look. The left head had middle-back long hair and blue eyes, but also proudly wore two ear rings on the right ear, a lower lip piercing and wore a small golden cross around the neck. The right head had shoulder long hair and red eyes, with the left one being bionic, but also had a tattoo of two engagement rings on the right cheek and a small iron pentagram around neck. The middle one had collar-bone long hair and was hetero-chromatic with a blue left eye and a red right eye, but had no will to hide the teardrop tattoo under the right eye and the small spiked collar with an Egyptian ankh hanging from around the neck. All three sharing the same flame orange hair color.

Tenchi's eyes wandered down to the next odd thing, under the loose top she was wearing, she sported a custom-made bra to hold three breasts in check, and with it being summer, she had decided to wear a pair of short-shorts, showing off the birthmark on her left buttcheek in form of a small red heart. It was also then that Tenchi noticed the giant dragon wings and tail on her back, the tail not being left undecorated as near the tailbase was a platinum-alloyed tail ring, but the eyes wandered back up to the spiked wristband on the left wrist and finally landed on a peculiar tattoo on the left arm. When the canine, or cerberus in this case, noticed Tenchi's eyes on the tattoo, she lifted the arm to give a better view as the left head spoke, "Like it? Its the runes of torment." Tenchi jumped back a bit at the voice, even with the rough exterior on her, the voice was rather soft and gentle. Taking her time, it was not long before Tenchi took the left arm and saw the gold claws and then also noticed the toe-claws make of gold too.

As if unable to avoid praising her, or just wanting to really compliment her looks, Tenchi smiled, "You are one interesting lady for sure. All that body and not a single ounce of bad blood. You must been making your parents proud." Sasha smiled before tapping her chest, "Her parents are bound to the hearts that made her a reality." Tenchi was about to ask, but decided it was better to avoid it and just nodded as the left head smiled, "Well, better introduce myself." The other two heads looked at her, "Don't you mean us?" The left head sighed, "Fine, us. We are Monica. Monica Himeko. A pleasure meeting you." Most of the ones standing in the main hall was completely taken by this rather strange development before Tenchi just nodded, "A pleasure to meet you three too. Strange to know that you are all named the same thing. Can I simply use her when talking about you? Makes it easier for all of us." Monica just smiled, "Sure."

Sasha nodded, "Okay, with introductions out of the way." She brought out two blueprints and teleported everyone to what could only be the biggest workshop ever, astonishing even Jane who was used to big workshops. It was not long before Sasha had attached the blueprints onto the wall, "We are making these two. I want you all to do a good work. Materials should be arriving soon enough." Monica walked over to the first blueprint with the team, taking only a few seconds to check it all through before nodding before barking out commands, "Okay, we need some axle grease, a lot of wires, many protective plates, a quadruple flux exhaust pipe, a matrix re-stabilizer, two 2,625cc power cores of 60kW and one regal sapphire for starters!" It was not long after she said that when Sapphire suddenly called out, "Hey! Let me go!" As Phoebe pushed her towards Monica as a joke, "We got a regal Sapphire here." Monica covered her left and right maw before the middle one giggled, "Silly girl. I meant the gem, not the person."

Sasha just shook her head before they heard a loud howl when Trinity, Lòeón and Faarg arrived with a whole shipment of materials, "This should cover it nicely." Faarg panted with his fur still set ablaze, "You can pay us back for this by putting all this to good use." Sasha giggled and soon grabbed what she needed before Sapphire got to work on creating every part needed while listening to Monica barking out all the parts needed, their function and also Maria calling out for certain parts to install as weaponry into the suit, all while Sasha alone worked her own magic of creativity with the suit and weaponry, Tenchi moving closer to Sasha and whispering, "So, what is Monica exactly?" Sasha kept on working with turning an ingot into a shoulder-pad, "She is what happened when the love between me and Jane's and May's mother Vee was at the very peak. Our hearts became one and Monica was born from it. Even if she has three heads, they all share the same body." Tenchi nodded, soon looking at Monica in that rather skimpy outfit, "But why is it that she got those wings and tail of a dragon?" Sasha closed her eyes, "Because back then, it was a different story than it is today."

Tenchi was confused at this response before noticing Peridot waving to her, making her walk over towards her before feeling a tight hug, "Seems like you are getting quite the gear for this war, Ten-Ten." Tenchi nodded, "I did scan the blueprints and even if I am knowing a bit about technology, most of that stuff was complete Greek to me. What is even an quadruple flux exhaust pipe?" Peridot nodded, "I know, mother can make even the easiest things hard to understand." Tenchi giggled, "At least you are as clueless as me about this." Peridot smiled, "Do not take pride in that, Ten-Ten."

They both laughed and looked over to Azura sitting with a harmonica, playing on it before Lyra began to sing, "Not for the dough. Just for the love. This is what we do. Advance above." Everyone took a short break from the hard work as Alex stood up before taking the next part, but unlike the normal music they sang calmly to, he surprised them all by actually rapping now, "Never meant to enter on this level. Gaining more alliance than rebel. We break of heat from the mind piece. Move in every fully functional direction. Opening your mind up on the top reflection. Always rapping straight from inside. Keep it on mind. Illustrating up a future, in which we are living. Advance above, from what we are giving. Flick switches on the low. Don't be tripping, to avoid any slipping in this industry. I grab myself by the neck, because this ain't what it is supposed to be. But I can't handle more shit than most others. So I seek for the peace of others, that fight their battles deep inside."

Everyone looked rather surprised by this, but soon Maria walked over to Azura and rubbed her cybernetic hands at the wings, beginning to play along to the harmonica with what sounded like drums, guitars and bass guitars as Lyra took over for a moment with the singing, "Not for the dough. Just for the love. This is what we do. Advance above." Next was what shocked even more when Jigo walked up before singing, "It's like the magnificent swordsmith that never slip, and any bend of metal they slip. Straight forging realism on a creative mission to serve and protect. Always coming up a sword as perfect, and never decide to neglect the jealousy in this industry. Instead he concentrate to be his true self and put his dreams aside and stack them on the shelf and then move on. Advancing through his smithing, this is how he do and how he live. Can you hear it?"

Now everyone clapped to the rhythm of the music as Alex took over with his rapping, "Minus one for the money, minus two for the future, doing his thing in his own way to get his pay to live and be wrapped up in a warm blanket at night. Minus three, never hold any hostility for the enemies. When his time has come and the pay of gold is silver, it is his time to get up, time to break the mind of reality. Anyone or all can claim to be the illest, but with a dying wish, he never get his right to wear the title of the best." The workshop was really coming alive with the music as Lyra's voice rung out calmly before Maria's wings soon went silent as Alex gave a sign, "Enough fun, we got no time." Everyone looked sad, but understood as they got back to work.

Soon the very musical workshop was filled with the sound of hammers, drills and various other sounds, both Tenchi and Alex being told to take a walk for a bit. Walking out the workshop with their wives, Tenchi and Alex looked towards the sky and smiled, "It really is a wonderful day even with what is coming up." Tenchi said before Peridot nodded, "Yes. I wish there could be peace and no further war." Alex sighed, "There is nothing called true peace. There is always a part in us that is dark, and when that dark part consumes us, that is when peace becomes an illusion." Tenchi nodded, "True, you know that better than anyone after all." It was then that Janch dropped from the sky, creating a small crater before she looked up at Alex and Tenchi with pure rage in her eyes, "Tenchi... Alex... They have dared the unforgivable." Alex walked over towards Janch before guiding a source of light to his hand, aiming it at her, "Calm down and tell us, Janch."

Janch growled and sighed as tears filled her eyes, "They have reawakened Hildegaard and had her defile the wyvern graveyard. A shadow is corrupting the place slowly! And they also injured your kids and most of all, they almost killed Arashi." Tenchi felt the anger building inside before everyone moved back when Tenchi's energy began to hit the maximum peak, but was soon brought down by Peridot holding her close, "Ten-Ten, calm down!" Tenchi growled and looked at Janch, "Are they okay?" Janch nodded, "Yes, they are stable. But Arashi is right now having surgery." Tenchi's eyes began to glow with hatred before she felt a chain around her neck as Peridot forced her down, "Ten-Ten, calm down, now!"

Tenchi growled and began to go fully vulgar, "I will fucking kill all of them for this! All of them!" Alex sighed before walking over and put a foot on Tenchi's right arm before pulling out his sword before stabbing it into the ground in front of Tenchi's face, allowing her to see the reflection, "Tenchi. Look at yourself. Is that the face of a warrior or a berserk demon?" Tenchi looked at herself and soon one of the eyes stopped glowing and she was crying, "What is happening to me?" Alex pulled the sword free and spun it around before sheathing it, "You are falling to your anger. You are not able to control yourself anymore when angered. If you allow it to consume you, not only will you adventure your future, but ours as well. Now, make your choice." Tenchi felt the chain disappearing and stood up before nodding as Sasha called out, "They are done."

As Tenchi and Alex walked into the workshop, they both stood shocked as Tenchi's power armor, inspired by the X-01 Power Armor from Fallout, was looking like one and as if the mythical Leviathan had breathed ice over it to form a dragon's head for the headpiece made out of pure ice, or at least that is what it looked like visually. Alex was not let down either as even with a slightly less armored appearance on his own armor, it was still sporting good defenses to even taking the design of a thresher, but what caught the most attention was that while Tenchi's armor had two power cores in hers, Alex had a more simple and smaller power core that still seemed to produce enough energy.

Tenchi walked over to hers and touched it, "Now this is beautiful." Monica nodded, "This is the Glacial Leviathan. It uses a slightly different power network than the X-01 you requested. It uses an oshorite-nickel alloy to lower the weight, but still keep the functionality of defense. It comes with two 2,625cc power cores capable of producing a combined 120kW of power every minute to power the system in it. In the ways of weaponry, it has an oshorite daikatana weighing 132 pounds, five close-distance self-pumping action combat shotguns using 12 gauge ammunition mounted on the right arm, which are reloaded by themselves automatically. You also have a long distance laser mounted on the chest. It uses up 600 kW of power when fired, so it will leave you vulnerable for a minute. The headpiece has a zoom function in it so you can scout long distances, and also a sensitive tracker that will tell you when someone is approaching at the lowest possible frequency of sound." Tenchi whistled, "How is mobility with it?" Monica sighed, "Everything has a downside. Even with the alloy, it is rather hard to move around. So we fixed it by installing hover boots on it, capable of reaching maximum velocity of 30 mph." Tenchi gave a thumbs up, "That is a good job right there."

Alex walked over to his and soon Lyra stood near him as Sasha smiled, "This is the Stormborn Thresher. A combat suit slimmed down to give the user maximum mobility. It is made from my own discovered alloy, argentia titanite, or silver titanite. It has a single power core on 1,800cc, which produces 41.3kW of power a minute. It is coming armed with a never-ending supply of shurikens, kunais and senbons made from green steel, a completely new katana made from the same alloy as the suit itself which charges itself the longer it remains sheathed. It is inspired by the techniques of masamune and muramasa to balance each other out. The boots on it emits a pulsing discharge that vibrates perfectly to create the possibility to run up buildings and across water. Also, whenever you draw blood and the helmet registers it, the power core will gain a temporary efficiency boost of 60% for a minute, before it goes back to normal again. Longer and it would overcharge the suit and fry you alive. As well as the efficiency boost, the suit will respond to your body movements, allowing you to break the speed of sound with throwing projectiles and delivering swings with your new blade. As a fail-safe, you can only get one efficiency boost every 5 minutes to allow the core to cool off quickly." Alex whistled, "Ohhh, I am the shark that will hunt many preys." Lyra giggled, "You are a dragon, not a shark."

Everyone laughed before Tenchi broke the news to everyone and ordered them to prepare for war before they got into their new armors and gave a few quick tests until the family came back, armed to the teeth before they all walked out, only to see what was almost the entire Frostclaw Tribe standing there, resurrected and geared up to the max, but all seemed confused as Tenchi moved aside to let Alex speak. Clearing his throat, he soon began to speak as Vana, Janch and Chaldoa walked up next to him and Lyra, "Frostclaw Tribe, hear me! An ancient enemy has dared to desecrate your holy graveyard for the wyverns. Janch, the daughter of Varani the Second Icewing, and the mother of Hildegaard the Ghostwing, the aerial general that fought for your rights in the Great Huan War and even against this very same enemy, reported to me and the newest Prime about this. They have already tried to break down the rebirth of the tribe, but each foe has fallen like the pathetic excuse they are. Now, they dare to resurrect and control not only Janch's mother, but also her own daughter, who was used to defile your sanctuary. As a honorable Frostclaw, not by birth, but by the blessing from the tribe itself, I cannot allow them to get away with this. Today, we make a stand. Not as single beings, not as regular people, but as heroes in the history of the Frostclaw Tribe. We will fight them in the air, with wyverns screeching in might and our foes screaming in fear. They will see why messing with one Frostclaw makes you get the entire tribe back at you. Now, lets take down the Shadowtail or Kae'Machi and bring back the honor you had and deal the justice to them for their heinous actions. Now, who is with me?"

There was no question, the roars from the dragons and the wyverns sounded louder than a thunderstorm ever could and soon the sky darkened with the many wings of the wyverns blocking the sunlight from hitting the ground below, the dragons below looking in pure awe at the sight before Tenchi called out to them, "We are the Frostclaw Tribe! We have come back from the graves and from another planet to bring justice towards the evil that tarnish this planet! Soon this realm will tell of the glorious battle that is about to come!" In the castle, finally back home, Jae looked up into the sky and smiled, "She is a natural-born leader for sure now. Fulfill your destiny now and go down in your tribe's chronicles." It was not long before they saw the dark peninsula of the tribe and in unison, Tenchi and Alex called out loudly, "Frostclaws, ATTACK!"
